The blog for books and movies

All year the half-bloods have been preparing for battle against the Titans, knowing the odds of victory are grim. Kronos’s army is stronger than ever, and with every god and half-blood he recruits, the evil Titan’s power only grows.

While the Olympians struggle to contain the rampaging monster Typhon, Kronos begins his advance on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. Now it’s up to Percy Jackson and an army of young demigods to stop the Lord of Time. In this momentous final book in the New York Times best-selling Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, the long-awaited prophecy surrounding Percy’s sixteenth birthday unfolds. And as the battle for Western civilization rages on the streets of Manhattan, Percy faces a terrifying suspicion that he may be fighting against his own fate.

Wow. Yay to Percy and Annabeth, Grover and Nico and Luke and all those in this awesome finale of epic proportions. I you like romance, danger, mystery and more this is the perfect book for you. Though it is the 5th in the series it may be the bets though the first one is amazing. Couldn’t have asked for a better book! 15/10 would highly recommend and suitable for 12-13+.

  2. Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian is the fifth and final book of the Percy Jackson series. It follows Percy as he reaches the age of 16 and has to fulfil the prophecy that could either save or destroy the world. This book has drama, comedy, and romance and makes you feel sad, happy and also frustrated with the suspense that the book builds. I would highly recommend this book to those who enjoyed Harry Potter or The Hunger Games or anyone who just likes action and adventure. I would give it a 10/10 for a fantastic way to end this series.

  3. this book was so captivating and nerve-racking, I definitely shed more than a few tears at the death of the characters that died. This book is so well written it plays like a movie in my head and hours can pass without me realizing the time. The series and the spin-offs from it are soo well written that I have cried every time I read these series again. This book definitely more than a 10/10!

Percy Jackson is an amazing series, and if anything could top it off, l this certainly could. All the characters are super likeable and it has hints of comedy, drama and romance all in moderation. This book makes you feel sad, suspenseful, heart-warmed and gets your heart racing all at the same time. If you are even just the slightest bit considering reading Percy Jackson, I heartily encourage you to go for it, especially if you love series like Harry Potter or The Hunger Games. The fast-paced action keeps you on edge and you simply can’t put the book down. I definitely rate this book a 10/10 and recommend it to ages 10+.

  5. I recommend Percy Jackson and The Last Olympian. This is the 5th and last book in the series and does Rick Riordan know how to finish a series. It was wonderfully completed and didn’t spoil anything that he had written before hand. When Percy is trying to save Mount Olympus with just 40 of his demigod friends you don’t expect it to be a great finishing book seeing how it would be hard to let them end up winning. But when he so cleverly finishes it and everything ends brilliantly. You admire his work and want to congratulate him. I recommend this for 9+ and rate it 10/10!

    • Percy Jackson is a great series i am reading it now for the second time, and each time i read it i fall more in love with it. it is the 5th book and the prophecy is about to come true and percy will have to make the biggest choice ever that could save or destroy Olympus.plus there is a spy at camp half blood that is helping the titans, and everyone is in danger. this is a action packed novel is the best book in the series and the build up to it is so detailed so well set out. i recommend this book to 11+ because of violence and hard words. but this book is so amazing and after reading it i got reading the second series (heroes of Olympus) because i wanted more. this book is 10/10.👍
