  1. The Croods is a great movie! It is definitely a family favourite at my house and is honestly so interesting. I love the storyline and I can definitely relate to Eep as a teenage girl wanting to grow up but obviously it is difficult for a dad who doesn’t want his little girl growing too fast. I honestly think this is one of the most relatable and beautiful animated movies I’ve ever watched. It has an important message of family that every teenager and parent can relate to, I experienced every emotion possible when watching this movie for the first time and I still to this day experience those same emotions all over again as if I’m watching it for the first time. I cried, laughed, smiled, and anxiously watched my screen throughout. I would definitely recommend this family classic, 10/10

I was so in love with the animation and creativity in this movie. The characters and animals and scenery look incredible and adorable and it portrays such an interesting perspective of what life was like before humans had evolved to todays world. My favourite character for sure was guy, their tour guide to tomorrow and his belt, a sloth like creature. I loved the resolution between Eep and her father Grug as they struggled with their differences as Eep loved to explore and discover new things whereas Grug preferred a safe and secure lifestyle which would have eventually gotten their family killed. The journey shows how Grug learns to because creative and adventurous like Eep and Guy as they travel to tomorrow. I recommend this movie to 9 year olds and older and rate it 10/10. I loved it.

  4. I went and saw this with five of my friends and we liked it. I thought it was okay for a children’s movie cause I don’t usually enjoy them. My favourite part was when the dad told stories because he would always be referring to his eldest daughter in disguise. My favourite character would have to be Guy’s pet because it was really cute and funny. My least favourite character was the youngest daughter because she was a bit crazy and scary at times.

I liked this movie because it was full of adventure but it looked very dangerous. I recommend this movie to kids aged 3+ because it didn’t have anything much scaring except for the caves and how dark it was. Kids could get scared like that but most of it was hilarious. My favourite character was Macawnivore because I loved the part when in the caves Macawnivore tries to kill Grug but turns out became friends when the fire torch went out and they both tried to light it up again. This movie was all about the world ending and they followed the sun and found a new place to live. I rate this movie a 8/10 because their dresses looked so real and the way they were living at the first place, getting animals eggs and eating it looked so alike to those who lived years ago with nothing to eat and stuff. It was really amazing how they did all this work and make a fabulous movie which i think most people liked.

    I liked this movie.
I thought there were some really funny, but sad parts as well.
My favourite character would have to be Eep because she is a very insparational character and stood up for what she believed in. I also liked Belt as well. I thought he was really funny with the way that he talks and acts (like when he used Grugs arm as a diving board).
I would probably suggest it ot kids who are 6+ because it can get a little scary. I would have to rate it 8/10.

If I had to change anything in the book I would change parts of the storyline and make it more interesting. I would recommend this film for children 7+ because it can be scary for them at some points and I would rate it a 6 / 10.
