ATTRACTION AT FIRST SIGHT CAN BE MESSY…

When Tate Collins finds airline pilot Miles Archer passed out in front of her apartment door, it is definitely not love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. But what they do have is an undeniable mutual attraction.

He doesn’t want love and she doesn’t have time for a relationship, but their chemistry cannot be ignored. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up, as long as Tate can stick to two rules:

Never ask about the past and don’t expect a future.

Tate is determined that she can handle it, but when she realises that she can’t, will she be able to say no to her sexy pilot when he lives just next door?

Colleen Hoover is a fantastic writer who never fails to produce a fantastic book that will leave you experiencing a wide range of emotions. It’s an emotional roller coaster that will astound you. There were numerous quotes in this book that I underlined because I adored them so much. You learn a lesson from ugly love; for me, it was that you can’t be so narcissistic. Yes, the past may still hurt, but it is now in the past. Your hurting won’t be constant, but it will only last for sporadic periods of time after you learn to love again. By letting light in, you can keep the darkness under control.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy book to read, but also heartbreaking, this one is for you. Colleen Hoover is an amazing author and one of her bestsellers Ugly Love will not leave you disappointed. Ugly Love follows the story of Tate and Miles although it is not love at first sight for them. Tate and Miles wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends, the only thing is a mutual attraction for each other and once their desires are in the open a perfect no strings attached arrangement begins. I read Ugly Love very fast and is perfect if you’re looking for something interesting and easy to read about. The only thing I will say about this book is I wish the relationship between Tate and Miles were deeper and more meaningful, otherwise, this book is amazing and I would recommend it for ages 15+.

Tate Collins knows it’s not love at first sight when she meets airline pilot Miles Archer. They wouldn’t go so far as to call each other pals. The only thing that connects Tate and Miles is their unmistakable attraction to each other. They understand they have the ideal set-up once their wants are out in the open. He doesn’t desire love, and she doesn’t have time for it. As long as Tate follows the only two restrictions Miles has given her, their arrangement might be surprisingly seamless.
    I rate this a 10/10

Colleen Hoover has a rare art of making you turn the pages so fast that you don’t realise how much you’ve read until it’s over. Ugly love is another great triumph of Colleen’s that I think any reader will love. It tells the story of a young nurse living with her brother when she meets her neighbour across the hall, a young pilot with a damaged and secretive past. What starts out as a ‘friends with benefits’ situation only gets more complicated, hearts get toyed with, promises get broken and love gets ugly. I truly loved this book as it was the first one of Colleen’s that I had ever read and it was a great debut for my Colleen Hoover journey. The characters are so human and you really sympathise with them throughout their mistakes. I really enjoyed this book and I recommend this to anyone who loves a good dramatic romance. I rate this book a 9/10 and recommend it to ages 14+.
