All his life, Clay has been told he was destined for greatness. To fulfil his role as one of the dragonets of destiny, who were prophesied to stop the war that had been raging in Pyrrhia for many years. The dragon tribes, IceWings, SeaWings, MudWings, SandWings, RainWings, Nightwings and Skywings have always despised each other. But one day, a Nightwing called Morrowseer foresaw that 5 dragonets born on the brightest night could save the world.
Clay, however, thinks otherwise. He’s clumsy, terrified, and not at all the terrifying monster his guardians want him to be. Having grown up in a hidden, secluded save all his life, how was he supposed to know what the war was like, let alone how to stop it? But maybe, just maybe, he didn’t have to be the monster the others told him to be. Maybe he could save the world with his friends, his own way.
I love this series so much! My favourite character is Clay because he is so sweet and protective of his friends at the same time. This book is amazing, brimming with unexpected turns and vivid descriptions. I recommend it to ages 11+. I give the book a 9/10.

I recommend the series ‘ Wings of fire’. It’s a great book for people who like fantasy, dragons, adventure e.c.t. I loved the books and I think theres lots of great drama in the books. I personally enjoyed the 2nd and the 7th books the most. I think if i had the give ‘ wings of fire ‘ a rating out of 10 i would give it a 9/10 because of how well the author has written the book from different perspectives and used a good use of words. I recommend the books for ages 8-14.
