I recommend the movie Chicago. This is a fun musical with great, catchy lyrics which tells the story of crazy girls who murder their husbands. This movie is about a nightclub sensation Velma Kelly (Catherine Zeta-Jones) who murders her husband because he was caught cheating on her. Velma hires Chicago’s big shot lawyer, Billy Flynn (Richard Gere) who is set to defend her. But when Roxie Hart (Renée Zellweger) also winds up in prison for killing her lover, Billy sets out to defend her case as well. Billy puts headlines on Roxie’s name making her a celebrity convict while also trying to get her free from jail. Both women vie for the fame and attention of the public as they fight it out to come on top. This is a drama filled movie with great dancing and is very entertaining. I recommend this movie for years 13+.
