This book is a serious tear jerker and I cried multiple times reading and watching the movie. It is a huge emotional rollercoaster and takes you on a journey from the very beginning. I would really suggest for someone who loves dogs or animals and believe that it is a must read book! I rate it 9.5/10 and think it is a really good book to read.

This was one of the saddest books i have ever read. I have never had that many emotions when reading, plus I have never cried whilst reading. I read the book before I saw the movie, and tbh, I’m glad I did that. The book captured every character in a unique way, and made readers feel attached to them. I’m not saying the movie was bad, bc trust me IT WASN’T! It was so amazingly perfect and had me crying and sobbing. I really enjoyed the book and movie and highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a little bit of a cry.

This is one of the most emotional but heart warming books you will ever read. It is a roller coster of emotions! This book is about a dog that keeps passing away but comes back as a different dog. Bailey lives four lives as a different dog, in his first life, he lives an amazing life with a young boy Ethan, when bailey gets put down he comes back. In his fourth life he is reunited with Ethan again. I promise, you will be crying by the end of this movie. I rate it 10/10.

A Dog’s purpose what a rollercoaster of emotions, this book takes you on a journey of one dog’s spirit going to a new dogs body when they pass away, this book did make me cry i have to admit but it is so heartwarming to hear about the dogs lives and how much love some of them get i would definitely recommend 10/10

The movie as well as the book “A dogs purpose” are both truly engaging stories!
It took me through an emotional journey that I had never felt before, with lots of plot twists, tears and new concepts. It was very heartwarming and eye opening to me. My favourite part of this story is the thought of reincarnation and that this could possibly happen to humans too.
I recommend this book/movie to anyone at all interested in dogs or if you need something good to watch or read with lots of cliffhangers. I give this a 8/10!

such an amazing book, we get to meet some new characters that weren’t in the movie and some of our favourites that were. it takes us on the journey through a dog’s life this one dog’s spirit travelling through different bodies to find his purpose and ultimately get back to his original owner a young boy named Ethan baileys story is an emotional rollercoaster it had me crying and laughing throughout the whole story, the journey of finding that perfect boy.

A Dogs Purpose written by an American author demonstrates ‘reincarnation’ throughout four different lives of a dog and his purpose in each life. Soon after the release of this book a sequel was then written (a Dogs Journey) to continue on the dogs marvellous adventure of life. This book teaches you about the crazy and hectic scenarios that happen in everyday life and the once in a life time opportunities every life has to offer. A real tear jerker which will leave you wanting more.

This story is one of my favourites. It is emotional but can also be funny. It shows the inside life of a dog and the different lives he lives. It shows the way his life changes with different people and situations. It is an amazing movie that i would recommend to everyone. Although it can be sad it is a wonderful movie and I rate it 10/10

This was a beautiful book. Although it is a very emotional book, it provides such an important message, but the message probably differs depending on how you take in the book. I think that having a dog is AMAZING, and this book just proves it. They are just awesome creatures, and this book provides the important message of how they feel, and how devoted dogs can get! I would recommend this for ages 11/12+ because it is very full on, and would definitely rate it a 10 out of 10.

cats have 9 lives and dogs obviously have many lives also, the book a dog’s purpose takes us through the many lives of a dog called bailey and how he is trying to find his purpose in each life, by the end of the book he finds his purpose but not only that he also finds his original owner, still doing the same trick they did many years ago, if your going to read it you might need a box of tissues and i would recommend it if you are an animal lover i would rate it a 3/5

this is by far my favourite book ever. i love this book so much because it is really heart warming, very sad, exiting, cute and most of all about dogs. i cried a lot in this book but it was so worth it at the end. i don’t have a favourite bit all of it was just terrific. i rate this gorgeous book a 10/10 and recommend it to thoughs who love a book that makes them cry but also makes them happy.

I watched this movie with my family and we all really loved it. It was so sad but at the same time a very happy story. It follows a dog’s journey over several lives, what he learns along the way through each lifetime, and his eventual reunion with his favorite owner. It is just as much about people as it is about animals, and makes me believe that everyone comes into your life for a reason.
This movie made me look at the relationship I have with my own dog, as well as help me understand and accept my old dog passing away. My dogs have always been my best friend, and part of the family. Now I realise that the unconditional bond we have with our dogs is just as important to them.
I give this movie 9/10 and recommend it to ages 7 up.

This book was absolutely heart warming. It takes us on a journey about a dog who starts out as a stray and then throughout his many lives, becomes a family dog.
The dog would pass away and then come back as a whole new dog, it was sad at times and happy at others. My favourite life of his was when he was Bailey, a family dog to Ethan. Bailey’s story is the main story of the book. After Bailey dies, he comes back as another dog and another and so on.
It is a very heartwarming story!

This book takes you through an emotional journey of his life with his mother, sister and brothers when they get taken from their home by people and are left to socialise with other dogs.They then find a boy… I love how in depth this book is. It really is a heart warming story.
