StarHearts, as fans of Josephine Angelini call themselves, will stay up all night reading Dreamless, the second book in the bestselling Starcrossed series. The saga mixes mythology, romance, action, and intrigue in a completely original way.
Dreamless continues the story of Helen Hamilton, a shy girl living on Nantucket Island whose desire for an ordinary life was thwarted when she discovered she is a Scion, a descendant of a Greek god and a mortal. Each Scion has a power, and Helen’s is the ability to travel to Hades.
Helen is determined to use her talent to stop a war amongst the gods and change her destiny, which is to live a life patterned after that of the tragic Helen of Troy. But her quest may cost her Lucas Delios, the boy she loves.

Dreamless by Josephine Angelini. In this book I got the feel it was wavering into a demigod version of Twilight. If is was that it would have been 10 times better than Twilight but in the end I got over it. The book itself slows don a little bit because of the task that Helen has had to under take. The only thing I could predict in this book was that Helen was to be the tyrant. I thought of this because she could fly, her mother can’t but Lucas could. she was born of the two Houses – Atreus and Thebes. orion is becoming my least favourite character because I don’t know him the most and I don’t feel like the author has delved into him much. Therefore, he feels blank to me. i have read this book twice now – I love it but I don’t think I will get the kick out of it I did with the first one. I rate this book a 10/10.
