I loved the Hunger Games movie! it was entertaining and action packed. Its definitely a movie I would watch again. It is definitely a movie to watch if you love action and it has great characters and an amazing unique plot. 100% recommend the watch.

Hunger Games, where do I start. I can’t belive i didn’t watch it sooner. I always through this movie would be so boring and i would be completely uninterested but I feel in love with this movie in the first 5 minutes. It is full of emotion an action, there are so many unexpected outcomes and risk taking. This movie includes districts that are split up, annually the districts pick one girl and one boy from the ages of 12-18 to brutally battle each other to the death. My favorite part is when Katniss finds Peter hiding durning the hunger games and uses her sponsors to tend to Peters wounds.
This movie put me through a roller-coaster of emotions and I 100% recommend to give it a try.

The hunger games franchise is extremely successful and after watching this film I can clearly see why. The story follows a disadvantaged young girl living in an alternate universe where every year a gruesome competition is held by the capital. This competition entails 24 people entering an arena, and being forced to fight to the death. Katniss, our main protagonist selflessly takes her sisters place in the competition however will she survive? The character development throughout the course of the movies is so interesting to watch, and you almost feel as though you are going through the experiences with the characters.
The movie is just as thrilling and exciting as the books and I would highly recommend watching this movie.

The movie is really good. It is full of suspense and always keeps me on the edge of my seat. There is never a dull moment. There are so many plot twists and exciting scenes. It displays a lot of courage and the plot is so good. In this movie, there are so many different aspects that make it very exciting. I definitely want to watch it again. I would recommend it to anyone who loves action thrillers and I rate it 9/10.

I’ve seen this movie so many times, and I never get tired of watching it; I could watch it every day and never get bored of it. Even though I’ve seen it many times, I’m still curious to see what happens next! I loved this movie so much. It’s the perfect style. half medieval, half futuristic. The unsteady camera images during the reaping and massacre are fantastic. I also enjoy that the Hunger Games aren’t about overpopulation, because that would be a slow and ineffective way to deal with it. I also enjoy how, although not being acknowledged, Rue clearly reminds Katniss of Prim. I would recommend this movie to anyone who has read the book, or enjoyed similar books/movies like Divergent, Harry Potter and The Maze Runner. I think that 11/12+ would be a good age to start/watch the series due to the fact that there are many deaths and slightly graphic scenes.

This movie was SO good! Katniss is so strong, courageous and was never afraid the views of the world around her. She was constantly having to prove herself to the world but always did it in the way you wouldn’t expect. I loved Rue she was so inspirational and I loved the way Katniss protected her. I never knew what would happen next and I loved the way Peeta and Katniss protected each other and volunteered to sacrifice themselves fro eachother. I would 100% recommend this to anyone!

this movie was great but nowhere as good as the book. as i thought katniss is a very blake perosn. in the book beucase it was writen in first person form her eyes were got to see her thoughts and opinos. in the movie though we didnt get to see any of that and it made the movies make not as much seenss to someone who hasnt red that book. it was great to see some of my favorte seens in the book come to life though. if you have read th hunnger games tyou have to wathc this movioe

The hunger games is a great movie that i have watched so many times becuase of how much i love it!! i love it because of all the different things that each character does and how they are all so different with different life stories but are all fighting for survival. I love how thsi movie has something for everyone there is a couple funny scenes, sad scenes, romantic scenes, adventurous scenes and has something for everyone and has you sitting on the edge of your seat the whole time. My favourite character were Katness because she is strong and courageous especially how she volunteered herself to save her sister. I rate it 10/10 and recommend it for 13 years and up as it can get a bit violent and scary at times.

This is such a good movie and I’m sure you would have heard this already (unless you live under a rock). I swear every time I watch it I find out something new. There are so may hidden details, symbols and motifs that comment on issues in real life. But if not for that just watch it for the amazing story and acting. The costumes are also amazing and help show the clear divide between citizens of the Capitol and those of the districts. Would definitely recommend watching the movie especially if you’ve read the book.

This movie amazing and will leave you one the edge of your seat the whole time! This is a thrilling series that is set in the future were the Capitol run everyone and so every four years 2 tributes from each of the 12 districts go into an arena were they fight to the death and there is only one survivor with everyone watching them as they do it. Katniss Everdeen is from district 12 and will now enter the Hunger Games. I will recommend this book to people ages 11 and over because there are some gruesome scenes. This book is a must read.

The hunger games is a thrilling series which will leave you on the edge of your seat. It is packed with action, despair, regret, love, sadness and excitement. Katniss Everdeen is so determined to fight for her district, in order to save her sister from having to compete. She volunteers. Her and Peter, main characters, make their way to the end, through a tragic and heart stopping journey. A film worth the watch. 9/10.

I personally love the movie ‘The Hunger games’! It fills me with suspense and each time I watch It I get really excited to see what will happen next as the movie progresses. This fabulous film Isn’t only known for its outstanding reviews and film work but it is also known for its main character Katniss Everdeen played by Jennifer Lawrence and how she portrays a strong and brave female character who is willing to fight for her family and district. I rate this movie a solid 9\10. I truly love this movie and definitely recommend it.

A great movie! definitely a very iconic 2010’s movie. The movie captures the story line of the book, but there is a definite originality that the director has incorporated into the movie. It is a very thrilling adventure/action movie that has a very diverse audience because it is suitable for any age. The movie not only has portrayed the character’s from the book excellently, but it is also aesthetically pleasing due to a very talented cameraman/woman. The movie not only captured the essence of the book, but it also produced it’s original perspective on the whole story. This movie will have you biting your nails as you follow Katniss Everdeen through her journey.

I was first introduced to The Hunger Games last year and since then it has been my go to read. This story is about a girl named Katniss Everdeen and the story is about sacrificing herself for her sister. This is a heartwarming story and I 1000/10 recommend this book for all ages!

This movie series are seriously my favourite movies!! I don’t know what I like more, the adventure or romance! The Hunger Games is set in the future where the capitol has an ongoing, annual tradition that a male and a female get picked out or volunteer as a tribute for their District to participate in The Hunger Games. There is only one survivor, which means that the other 23 don’t make it. It is kill or be killed. This fast paced movie is one of a four movie series. Katniss (the protagonist) lives in District 12, which is the lowest hierarchical known-living District. She is strong-willed and an inspiring character! Peeta Mellark is the other tribute from District 12 and the slow burning romance leaves the audience on the edge of their seats. But if that’s not enough, the strategy, politics and survival aspects of The Hunger Games is absolutely remarkable. No words can truly describe this extraordinary movie! Seriously, it is one of my favourites, alongside the other movies in this series! I rate it a 10/10 for sure!

I love the Hunger Games!
i remember watching it for the first time and i fell in love with it.
The story line was new and fresh and gave me chills down my spine. From the first to the last movie Its just great. Its full of action and adventure and i totally recommend it.

This movie was nothing like I thought it would be, I had originally thought that it might have more action but I guess I was wrong. I was tossing up whether or not the see this movie with all the mixed opinions that I had received form those who I asked. I was glad that I saw this movie as it was very good even if it didn’t have much action. I loved how even if there was no action I was still on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. But overall, it was a blockbuster movie and I enjoyed every minute of it! Even enough to watch it another 3 times!! I would rate it 10/10

The Hunger Games is a great movie but not as good as the books, the actors were chosen really well and they played the role of the characters well. The movie generally had the same story line as the book but missing out on a few pointers that i think would of made the movie a whole lot better. I rate the movie 8.5/10 and recommend it for 13 years and up

I love these movies! My favourite is catching fire as I loved the characters and settings better. Everything from costumes to characters is so perfect for the story line. It gives the movie such a futuristic vibe by also showing how much regress humanity did. I think everyone would love this movie as it is full of all sorts of genres, ranging from action to romance. I believe this movie is different to anything that has been realesed and I rate it 10/10! I think I have watched each of the movies multiple times, they are all that good, so if you haven’t watched the first one yet, YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT NOW or you will regret it!

I love the hunger games, it is such a good movie and a good book, I love the love between Katniss and her sister Prim and how Katniss is ready to put her life before her sisters that just shows how much she loves her sister and how Katniss and Peeta are both prepared to kill each other because they don’t want to kill one another and that just shows how much they like each other. The hunger games is a great movie and a great read and I recommend this book and movie to everyone

Hunger Games is such a thriller! The first movie is by far the best out of them all. The way the movie starts is both thrilling and heartwarming. My favourite part of this movie is the reaping ceremony. the reason for this is because it introduces something so scary that seems so real. I would say that this part of the movie really kicks it off to be a different sort of a movie. This movie is made ten times better by the characters, Katniss Everdeen is the sort of character that everyone loves from the moment she is introduced. As the movie moves on there is deaths and violence that is something you would only dream could actually happen. The movie The Hunger Games is heartbreaking, in the sense that so many innocent lives of children are taken. Throughout the movie there are twists and turns that leave you trying to figure out what is going on. I love how in the arena, Katniss and Peeta have to pretend and act to get the capital on their side, this makes me see just how horrible this movie really is. After watching the first hunger games movie, all I wanted to do was watch more and more. this movie draws you in from the moment you start watching and you are left on the edge of your chair waiting for something else to happen. This movie seems to really put my life into perspective and make me realise how lucky I am to not be living in a situation like this or even similar to this. even though the storyline is not based off true events, the way the characters are this movie feel like it is real.
I would rate this movie a 10/10 I can’t fault it !

I loved the movie the hunger games because it was action packed and thrilling to watch. I also like it because it is not the type of movie I would usually go for but surprisingly I enjoyed this. My favourite part of the movie was when Katniss volunteered for her sister because it was very emotional. I don’t particularly relate to any of the characters but my favourite character would have to be Katniss because she is so brave and would do anything to save her sister. I recommend this movie to everyone ages 13+ because it is such an awesome movie, I rate it 8.5/10.

I loved this movie. The Hunger Games is a dystopian movie that really makes you think and make your brain work as you follow the story line. The story line follow Katniss as she volunteers to save her sister and goes into the hunger games. The movie has bits of thrill, romance and adventure. I would recommend this film to anyone above the age if 12 as it is a little gruesome and has blood. I would also rate it 9/10 as i have re watched it many times.

Which is a competition where you literally “fight to your death.” The person who comes alive is crowned the victor. It is based on the book by Suzanne Collins. I love this movie. I rate it 10/10.

The Hunger Games is a great movie. The characters complement the plot really well and each character has their own personal trait that separates them from the rest of the cast which is really cool. My favourite character was Katniss because she is a great female icon who demonstrates complex skills and abilities to help her in the games. My favourite part is when she shoots the arrow through the apple in the pigs mouth. It’s really cool and well executed. I recommend this movie to other teenagers and young adults. I rate it a 7/10.

I seriously am obsessed with this film. You can watch this a thousand times and not get bored. The evilness in this film is intense and dark. But and the goodness is so inspirational. The characters display so much depression, loss, fear, and anxiety, but they also show strength and endurance. It’s about a world split into sections, and every year there is a game where innocent children have to kill each other in order to win. Even if you have high expectations this movie will beat it by far.

The Hunger Games is an action and sci-fi movie that contains deaths and survivors. The director Garry Ross shows us a country that is divided into 13 districts. The people must fight against each other, to survive the toughest and brutal Hunger Games. Only two people from each district from one to twelve are put into the games. The thirteenth district is not a part of the games after an incident that happened but it gets introduced to the people in the other movies as everyone thinks district thirteen is dead. Katniss Everdeen joins The Hunger Games after a tragic event after her sister’s name gets drawn out, instead Katniss willing volunteers in her sister place. Katniss learns survival skills that help her throughout the game. Katniss builds a love relationship throughout the game with Peeta Mellark as he was the male that got chosen from her district but this makes Katniss decide who she falls for as she has another boyfriend. These two find themselves in lots of trouble as they don’t know what to expect as they have never killed anyone before.

over the holidays I watched all of the hunger games movies and at the end of all of them I was always sitting on the edge of my seat. There are ups and down and there is action every second of the movie. There is love, drama, action and interesting fashion choices. There were many unexpected scenes however once they had occurred it made complete sense.I must admit I had to be fully focused to be able to understand everything which is why I would recommend going over some scenes twice. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone that likes action, mystery, drama and most of all the unexpected.

I recommend reading the book before you watch the movies as the book provides a deeper understanding into the characters. The futuristic aspect of this film is really cool and makes it more interesting. Katniss is a really strong character as she is very independent and she stands up for what she believes in. The Hunger games movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is filled with so much adventure, drama and thrill. It is definitely my favourite adventure/ action movie. I have not read the book but I still would highly recommend reading it if it is anything like the movie. In Panem (where the hunger games is set) there are 12 districts (which are kind of like groups to categorise people). Every year the Capitol holds this event called “the hunger games” which is where one male and one female from each district go into a arena and fight to the death. The arena changes every year and it looks like a regular place in the world with a dome over a space of it to limit the area you can be in during the hunger games. The only person that is left standing wins the games and lives the rest of their live in riches. Katniss Everdeen is the main character and in district 12 along with her male partner from her district Peta Melark. My favourite character is Katniss and I think the actress Jennifer Lawrence played her so well. I would recommend this book to anyone because I absolutely loved it. I rate it a 10/10!!!!

Katness Everdeen Wants to change this has she believes that every one has a right to live and That the Hunger games are unfair as Children under 18 has the unlucky chance of competing. I love this movie!!!! it’s so intense, dramatic and suspenseful. The movie is based on the main character Katniss Everdeen and her journey in the annual survival games. The Hunger games is an action packed movie filled with thrills, romance, drama and action. It’s about 12 young kids fighting to stay alive, killing each other until there’s one left standing. The games is run every year and there is two names chosen from each district to compete. When Katnis’s sisters name was chosen Katis volunteered straight away to protect her sister so she wouldn’t have to compete. As Katnis and the 11 other people enter the games will she make it out alive or will she die? I truly loved this movie and I recommend that everyone ages 12 and up should go and watch this movie and I rate this 4/5 stars.

I really loved the first Hunger Games movie, I loved all the actors roles and acting skills so much! It was good to see lots of action but there was certainly lots of gruesome violence scenes that made you want to cover your eyes it was that scary! It isn’t scary the whole movie though so don’t think of it that way. It left me with a massive cliffhanger, and left me curious until I watched the next movie. My favourite character was Katniss. She was my favourite because she loved her little sister, Prim very much and showed such great responsibility and care for her all the time. I would recommend this movie to people who love romance, action & adventure and 12+.

I really love the movie the hunger games starring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen. The capitol maintains it’s hold by forcing each of the 12 districts to select one boy and girl to compete in the nationally televised event called the Hunger Games, where only one can live. My favourite part is the end of the movie because of the slight twist. My favourite character is Peeta Mellark played by Josh Hutcherson because he is willing to sacrifice himself for Katniss. My least favourite part of the blood bath and all the gruesome parts though I wouldn’t change anything in this movie. I recommend this book to others who loved the book or loved movies like maze runner and divergent.

The Hunger games movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I love it so much. It has so much entertainment and thrill in it. My favourite character is Katniss Everdeen. Katniss is a very brave character. As she volunteers for her younger sister to be in the hunger games. She is also very kind, caring and courages. I also kind of find this movie a little scary. I was also so upset when I saw Rue die. Because she was such a young and innocent character. I would rate this movie a 9/10. I really enjoyed it but there were some parts that scared me like when the wolf jumped out of the woods that shocked me a lot

Hunger Games is a series of books and movies that are about a girl called Katniss Everdeen who her sister is chosen for the annual Hunger Games. As loyal she is to her family she volunteered as tribute to take her younger sisters place.
Peter who was chosen to also compete in the Hunger Games.
The loving, surprising, mean events that happen will leave you wanting more.
Will Katniss and Peter survive? Who will win? Will Katniss she her family again? What will happen during the Hunger games?
I would strongly recommend everyone to go and see this movie and also the rest of the series.

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I watched it over the summer holidays and released what everyone was going on about. This is a movie with action, love and adventure. I love how the main character is a girl and how she is a strong empowered woman. I would recommend this movie for people aged 12 and above. It has some violence that might make anyone under that age a bit uncomfortable. This movie is awesome please go watch it now. I rate this movie 10/10

I’ve not only read all of the books but I’ve watched all of the movies and I must say that this is my most favourite series ever. I love the story line and I really connected to all of the characters in a way. Catnis was by far my favourite character and she even inspired me to be a powerful women. I will always keep on watching these films and reading these books. This movie really touched me and therefore I definitely recommend it. I rate it 10/10.

I’ve read the books and watched the movie and got absolutely hooked! It is a must see and read I couldn’t stop thinking about it! There are a lot of things that are not in the movie but are in the book so I suggest read the book first. I recommend it for 12+ because there are some brutal scenes. 11/10!!!!

The first time I watched the hunger games, was when I was in year 4. I thought it was scary and horrible at the start, but once the movie got better, I thought it was the best movie I had ever watched. Watching it again now, I still really love everything about it! I think the idea is not the best, as the people have to kill each other, friends, or not friends. But it is still very interesting in all ways. My favourite character would have to be Katniss, for her courage and persistence, when times are tough. I would recommend this movie to the ages of 12+ as their is some blood and gore. This movie is a 9/10 🙂

I loved this movie and it’s definitely one of my favourites. This movie is really great because it has so much stuff going on all the time and I was on my seat the whole and I wanted to throw something at the TV sometimes. My favourite character is probably rue because even though she is so small and young and definitely not the strongest she survives for quite a while using logic.This movie put me through so many emotions such as happiness, sadness, anger, relief and more. I would recommend this movie for people who like adventure and don’t mind a bit of violence because there’s a lot of that in this movie. I rate it a 9 out of ten because as great as it is it’s not as good as the books.

I recommend this movie to 12 and up this is because it’s a bit brutal and scary but older people would LOVE it. This movie is about district 12 and the main characters Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen and their struggles in the hunger games. The hunger games is when a boy and a girl from districts 1-12 have to battle it out to the death until there is only one person left standing, and that person would be the winner. My favourite character is Katniss because she is nice, brave, smart and helpful. The costumes, makeup and hairstyles are outstanding! Great movie to watch i recommend you go see it. This movie is fantastic full of adventure drama and romance as Katniss Everdeene rebels against the capital who has decided that each year, 24 children from different districts shall compete till death until one comes out victorious. This is a thriller like movie that will have you at the edge of your seat the entire time. I would rate this movie 8/10 and recommend it for ages 12+ as it is very violent.

The Hunger games is the best movie ever!! I really really enjoyed it and I think that it has a wide appealing audience. It’s full of action, romance and comedy. I have not read the book but I still would highly recommend reading it if it is anything like the movie.In Panem (which is where the hunger games is set) there are 12 districts (which are kind of like groups to categorise people) Every year the Capitol holds this thing called “the hunger games” which is where a male and female from each district go into a ring and fight to the death. The only person that is left standing wins the games and lives the rest of their live in riches. Katniss Everdeen the main character is in district 12 and it is the 74th hunger games, and somehow she gets chosen to represent district 12 with the male chosen Peta Melark. This is a story about how they go into this tournament and the hardships they face in this world, I would rate this movie 5/5!!!

The hunger games is a thrilling series which will leave you on the edge of your seat. It is packed with action, despair, regret, love, sadness and excitement. Katniss Everdeen is so determined to fight for her district, in order to save her sister from having to compete. She volunteers. Her and Peter, main characters, make their way to the end, through a tragic and heart stopping journey. A film worth the watch. 9/10.

I love this movie very much, its great. It is action packed and full of great and tense scenes. My favourite character is Katniss Everdeen and she is one of the bravest because she steps in and fights the other districts along side a friend she made along the way names Peta. I love this movie and there is never a dull moment, really recommend it. 10/10

I love this movie sooooo much! It is action packed and has an engaging storyline. I love Katniss the most because she is a strong-willed person who usually puts others before herself. She doesn’t suffer fools and wastes no time with ignorant people. I love how there are districts and that the capital is quite an eccentric and fancy. The costumes, makeup and hairstyles are outstanding! In this movie there is a little bit of a love triangle. Katniss, Gail and Peeta. I would give this movie 10/10 easily. You’ll never fall asleep in this movie. I do recommend it to the age of 12+ because it is a tiny bit violent but otherwise, alright for mature audiences.

Ok So The Hunger Games. Where can i start so i guess watched the movie and i fell in love with it, i watched a bit later than I should have because The other to movies were out but oh well. So watching the first movie was very intense i didn’t know how to react and i didn’t know what was going to happen as i haven’t read the books I’m reading them now.The second one i watched with a friend that is my favourite movie of all time. The third movie was a little bit different as there is not as much action as the other movies but still breathtakingly good. I can’t wait until part 2 comes out as part one was a cliff hanger and i want to know what happens next. i Would definitely recommend the hunger games series but to the right age group.

I absolutely love the Hunger Games movie. It will leave you so intrigued to find out more. At times it was quite intense and upsetting. My favourite character is Katniss Everdeen, she is the main character, she is very heroic and at times she has to make very hard and difficult decisions. This movie is about different sectors and they get put onto a movie type thing where they have to fight each other until there is only one person left. Katniss wins along with the friend that she made along the way named peeta. I really loved this book ad I defiantly think anyone will love this

Well were can i start, This is one of my favourite movies as catching fire is my first,
I first saw this movie last year and absolutely fell in love with it. I get scared really easily and don’t like it when i get a fright or a shock but when i saw this i was really suprised as people would tell me how scary it was. For me it was a little bit gawry but i was fine with that and i didn’t find it was that bad, either it wasn’t scary or i had grown up.
I would definitely recommend this movie to people that would love some romantic and violent scenes and who has a bit of futuristic mind. I would rate this movie a 10/10

I never read the books and went straight to the movie! I am one to get scared easily so I was quite hesitant to watch it! However I loved it. At some times it was intense and you were constantly wondering what would happen next, but then some parts you really got to see the personality of each character and how they truly felt at each time. I hate the idea of actually making people do this, but it did make for an entertaining movie. My favourite part was when they were racing to collect something from one of the points, and somebody from another district killed somebody who was trying to kill Katniss, but they didn’t kill Katniss. I think this showed that people who have extreme courage and bravery are respected highly by others. I recommend this book to ages 13 and up as it can be quite violent and dark, and I rate it a 8.5/10

I love the hunger games in both of the books and movies. The movie(s) had made me jump a little bit with some of the sense but I found it ok after a while. I find The Hunger Games Interesting because It’s a bit different to a lot of other movies that are not like that type and not in that category and when I say this I was like OMG this is very different but very good. Now I can’t stop watching and reading the Hunger Games at all. I now want to try some other books but I can’t because I am so inlove with the Hunger Games and I think that I might forget the whole story line. I would rate this movie(book) 9 and 1/2/ 10

I loved the hunger games in both the book and movie, I did read the book first which I found helped understand some parts that weren’t very well explained in the movie. The movie had me at the edge if my seat and ducking behind the chairs in the cinema because it was so intense! I love the plot and I think its very original, thought through and well structured. I think Katniss is such a strong character and the actress plays her so well and just like I imagined in the book. The sets and costumes are also amazing. I would recommend this movie to any one that loves some action.

I loved the Hunger Games. The storyline is so engaging and I love the characters of Katniss and Peeta. I love Katniss’ courageous personality which she shows throughout the whole movie. When she sneaks into the forest and hunts food for her family where she is constantly under threat by the Peace Keepers make my hair stand on end. I was so enraged by the brutality of the capitol, forcing innocent people to fight till the death for entertainment. I would rate this movie 7/10 because of the action-packed scenes and the amazing actors.

I love this movie because it involves lots of excitement and thrill. My favourite part would have to be when Katniss volunteered for her sister because I thought it showed how selfless she is. My favourite character would have to be Katniss because of how courageous and caring. If I could change anything about the movie is the amount of deaths but that’s all. I would recommend it to anyone older than 13 and would rate it 6/10.

I love this movie because it’s packed with adventure and constantly makes you wonder what will happen next. My favourite part in the movie would have to have been towards the end when your whole perspective of the movie changes because of the message. I loved Tris through the story because of her strength to continue on though times, her bravery and her ability to be selfish less. I wanted change anything about the movie even though I found it difficult to see Tris and other be purposely hurt. I would recommend this movie to a mature teenager but anyone over 12 would be able to watch it and I would rate it 7/10.

This movie wrecked havoc on the fans and when it finally came out the vast majority were not disappointed. I have read the book before and must admit that in both the book and the movie tears where shed. Choosing Josh Hutcherson to play Peta and Jennifer Lawrence to play Katniss – Round of applause to the director. The actors played their parts so well and the movie flows beautifully. The movie is a great insight to government in the way I had personally never thought of it before and showed both sides of the story incorporating President Snows views. It and many lessons and messages that we can take away from it such as the importance of family, the delicacy of relationships between people and the meaning of trust. Katniss learns about all of these things in the hunger games and it is definitely a movie worth watching.

The Hunger Games is such a great movie!
It is a movie that really engages me and makes me want to watch it all over again, but of course first time is always the best!
My favourite character would have to be Katniss. She is so brave and has a very powerful personality. I would like to think I could be like that one day.
My favourite part of the movie would have to be when Katniss stands up for her sister and also when Peeta and Katniss almost die so that they won’t have to leave each other.
I love this movie and would recommend it for anyone over the age of 12 and looking for a thrilling movie. I rate it 10/10!!!

This movie was nothing like I thought it would be, I had originally thought that it might have more action but I guess I was wrong. I was tossing up whether or not the see this movie with all the mixed opinions that I had received form those who I asked.
I was glad that I saw this movie as it was very good even if it didn’t have much action. I loved how even if there was no action I was still on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next.
My favourite part of this movie is when Katniss says “.. And if we burn, you burn wit us ”. I like this part because I feel that it really shows how she is feeling and that she wont stop fighting until everything is fair between the capital and districts.
I also like the ending of part 1 because we get to see Peeta back again but because he was highjacked by the capital he has gone crazy. To finish part 1 with Peeta screaming and trying to break free of the straps keeping him down makes me want to scream at the movie from stopping ad also makes me very anxious to see part 2.
My favourite character is Katniss because she is very strong to be able to be in the games twice and still fighting for freedom from the capital. I feel like in this particular movie out of the 3 so far I feel like I have been able to see more of her emotions and not just her fighting to win and survive.
Katniss wont give up fighting until she knows that everything is right and all districts have freedom from the capital. I can relate to Katniss because I’m a bit like this as I wont give up until I have done everything perfectly or achieved goals. I wont give up half way through because it may be to hard because I’m not that type of person and everything is possible.
My least favourite character in the movie is President Snow, this is because he his very mean for making the districts killing each other to be able to survive. I feel that President Snow has no feelings and doesn’t care about torturing anyone for the fun and a good show for others.
I love this movie and recommend this movie to everyone. I give this movie a 9 out of 10.

Once I watched this movie, I couldn’t get it out of my head. This movie by far is my most favourite movie of all time. I love all of the characters so much. I remember when I first watched it, I was a bit scared, but now that I’ve watched it heaps of times, I love it so much. I defiantly recommend this movie to ages 13 and older. I give it a 10/10.

The Hunger Games movie is amazing! I have read the whole Hunger Games trilogy, but seeing the storyline on screen was a whole new experience. I enjoyed watching my favourite moments from the book being portrayed on screen. Watching this movie was filled with adventure and suspense. This made me not want to miss a moment, and kept me on the edge of my seat, even though I knew what was going to happen.
I rate it a 9.5/10 and would recommend this movie to anyone aged 12+ who likes action-packed movies.

The movie ‘The Hunger Games’ is a really captioning adventurous movie. Its about a girl called Katniss that volunteers to go to the hunger games as her sister Prim was chosen. It takes you on her journey with all the ups and downs. My favorite bit is when Rue another girl in the hunger games helps Katniss and protects her and takes care of her wounds by covering them in leaves, I thought this was really sweet of her. I recommend this movie for ages 10 and over because its a bit violent and I rate it an 9/10.

I didn’t enjoy the Hunger Games as much as I thought I would. I love the character Katniss and Peter however, I don’t like the idea that the children are chosen from their district and they have to hunt the children from the other districts who were also chosen, just to survive. This idea sends shivers up my spine and I’m not sure how the writer could have thought of something so cruel and strange. I believe that this movie is not realist and I’m not a fan

I absolutely loved the hunger games it was an adventurous, heart stopping blockbuster film which captured my attention. My favourite part of this movie was when Katniss covers Rue in flowers and gives the 3 finger salute to the district 11’s this part shows the true courage and sorrow Katniss has and gives. My favourite character is Effie Trinket she is a wonderful human and always finds the bright side when things get dark, she is always wearing something that will capture the viewers attention something fun, big and bright! If i could change anything in this movie it wouldn’t be anything it is truly that good! I would truly recommend this movie to viewers over the age of 12 because there is a bit of violence but i would rate this movie a definite 10/10.

I think that the hunger games is an amazing movie/book and it has a great storyline. It is about a country with 12 districts and one man and one women get chosen each year to participate in the hunger games, which is when the 24 tributes must survive till there is only one person left standing. Primrose who is Katniss’s sister is chosen but because Katniss knew that she would not survive she volunteered in her place. Katniss and Peter travel to the capitol and compete in the games, and they both refuse to kill each other at the very end so they both survive. I recommend this movie to all viewers, although it is a bit violent you will certainly enjoy it. I would rate this a 8/10, so I recommend that you watch it.

I didn’t enjoy the hunger games at all to much violence for one movie. To much plots and twists i love a few twist but this was an over load. The actors played their role well but others could have done it a lot better. Non of the hungers games are my cup of tea but if you like twists an plot go see it.

wasn’t very excited to go and see the hunger games, but once I saw it, I really loved it. Most people think teenagers killing teenagers sounds horrible in a movie, but it does have a very interesting plot and you dont see all the details of the violence that occurs. My favourite character was Katniss because she was very strong and courageous and a caring sister, to volunteer. My least favourite part was when one of the little girls from the district died, (not going to say who, in case you haven’t seen it yet) because it was so sad. I would recommend this movie/book to people over 12, because it is a little bit violent and scary/sad at times.

Really good film. Takes place in a futuristic totalitarian America that has been divided up into 13 districts and a capital. The heroine of the story, Katniss, takes her younger sisters place in the Hunger Games and leaves her behind along with her mother and boyfriend. It’s an action packed film that will leave you on the edge of your seat while you follow Katniss through the Hunger Games. I would recommend this film to people, 10/10.

When I first watched the hunger games,I found it a bit scary and confusing because I hadn’t read the book and I was not that into blood and guts but I watched it again and became more fond of it and the more I watched it, the more I understood and now I am completely in love with the hunger games! I have watched it so many times and it is such a great movie! I think that if you like action and war movies then this would be the movie for you.My favourite character is Prim because she is only 12 but she is so mature for her age and she is also very clever. I also really liked Peeta because he was so kind towards Katniss. I rate this movie 9 1/2 /10.

I have read the books and watched the movies and i have loved them all! It was exhilarating and they caught your attention the whole time. My favourite character was definetly Katniss, the way she had the courage and bravery replace Prim in volluntering to take part in the games was something i would never think of doing.She was also very understanding to the different situations ahead of her like when she helped Peta. She was a very knowing and loving character that was very important to the story line.

My favourite character would be Katniss because she is so brave and stong and is a good role model. i think that the capitol thinks Katniss is rebelling but she is being her self. This than motivates the people to rebel. The Hunger Games is a great movie what keeps getting better and better. I give it a 8 out of 10. Think that the movie suit ages 12 to 40.

This is an amazing heart stopping movie. I loved it with much regard it was so intense and you automatically feel in love with the characters. There personalities came across well and you could tell what type of people they were right from the start. It can be a bit scary at times so i would say anyone over the age of 10 or 11 anyone younger i think would be to scared. My favourite character is Haymitch. He is so funny and has got past the point of worrying and has just accepted that there is nothing else he can do but drink and help new tributes. i would rate this movie 10/10

I LOVED the hunger games. I was acually suprised that I enjoyed it so much. I loved the romance in it but again suprisingly i loved the fighting too. I acually went out and brought the books and found they were a bit different but i liked watching the movie first before reading the books. I loved Peeta and Katniss they were definatley my faveourites but i also loved Rue!!! EVERYONE should see it!!! they will be pleasently suprised! I give it 9/10 and i recommend it to 12+

I really enjoyed WATCHING THIS MOVIE!!!! It such a exciting and adventurous movie!!! My favourite part of this movie was defiantly when Katniss volunteered as tribute in the hunger games instead of her younger sister going in. My favourite character in this movie defiantly has to be Katniss because she is super brave and courageous and such a great rold model. I think I can relate to Prim because I have 2 older sisters and I am the youngest sister and my older sisters are always there trying to look after me. My least favourite moment in this movie was when Katniss had to volunteer as tribate instead of Prim. If I could change something in this movie it would defiantly be to take Rue out of this games because she is just so young and its so sad when she dies. I would recommend this movie to many, because it is so good! I would rate it 9.5/10. I think that basically anybody would fall in love with this book besides younger readers, who dont really understand this concept.

Wow!!! The hunger games book had me reading all night but the way the movie followed it up was amazing! It had me sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time. My favourite character was Katniss! Her courage and strength inspired me to stand up for what I believe in and fight for what is right. This movie is a real mix of violence, romance and energy! My favourite part is when Katniss and Peta find each other during the games! I recommend this for anyone who loves a good thrill and I rate it a 9/10!

The Hunger Games is one of the most interesting movies, you never expect whats going to happen, and it keeps you surprised. The main characters Katniss and Peeta represent District 12, a poor district. Every year they have the “Hunger Games” where 2 people (male and female) are chosen to go fight for their lives. Katniss’ younger sister Primrose was chosen but instead Katniss volunteered for her younger sister. That was a really touching but also kind of sad moment as she had to leave her family. This movie is packed full of action, romance, suspense and lots more! If you like that sort of stuff I recommend this for you.

My favourite part of the movie is when she volunteers as tribute of her younger sister Primrose, putting herself before he sister. I also love the part when Katniss and Peeta get together of course, they’re so cute how they become starstruck lovers when they’re meant to be killing each other to survive. My least favourite part of the Hungers Games though would be when Ru dies and Katniss is there by her side. If you love violence, romance, suspense and all of the above, I’d recommend this for you, seriously a 10/10!

This movie is definitely one of the best movies I have ever watched. It is one of the movies that you can just watch over and over again and never get sick of it. I was blown away when I watched this movie for the first time. I was just thinking about the movie for days and I was begging my friends to watch it. Its a very emotional film and it really gets to you. I would definitely recommend this movie to all people.

I don’t usually watch these sorts of movies but really enjoyed it. Some bits are gruesome to watch that is disturbing. It is really exciting to watch and know what happens next in each scene of the movie. Although I wouldn’t say the 2nd movie is as good as this one. As some parts are a bit scary so it definitely would have to be for children 10-12+ for them to enjoy it more and not get scared. I would have to rate this movie a 8 out of 10!!!!!!!!!!

I loved the movie the hunger games it was one of my favourite books and I found that they portrayed the movie very well and it was very alike the book they had lots of similar details. It was full of action, drama, a little bit of romance and heaps of plot twists. I recommend this to young adults as it might frighten younger children. This movie has all of the elements people look for in a movie making the film an attraction to most ages (with the exception of most younger children). I find this movie to be a little depressing in aspects and made me a bit uncomfortable. I would recommend this movie to older children and adults who are interested in romance and horror. This film is quite blood thirsty so I wouldn’t recommend this movie to children of young ages.

The Hunger Games is the best movie I have ever seen. It is so full of action and drama it’s a incredible love story and war type film. I recomend it to people above the age of 13 and up. My favourite part is when at the start of the flim Peeta and Katniss are doing the interview with Ceaser and they fall over in the snow together (in the second hunger games). I think it’s quite cute 🙂 . This movie has some violence in it but apart from that it is a great movie.

The Hunger games is one of my favourite movies of all time. I have read all the books in the trilogy and they are my favourite books too! I love the special effects used in this movie, as they really make the story come to life and make you feel like you are in the arena with the tributes. My favourite part of the movie is when Katniss and Peeta are sat on the cornucopia and almost eat the poisonous berries, as this is what makes the Capitol upset a I don’t particularly like the Capitol. I give the movie a 10/10 and recommend it to everyone as it is a mixture of action, fantasy and romance all in one!

I love this movie because of the way it is filmed and its so dramatic. I have started to read the book but I got a bit bored and I had so many other books to read I didn’t really have and time to read it, so I am going to read after I read all of the books in my bookshelf. My favourite character has to be Katniss. I like her because she is courageous and will do anything to protect her little sister Prim. I get why she is mad at Peeta at the start when he didn’t throw the bread to her when she was sitting in the mud and rain. But in the Hunger games she was playing all lovey dovey with him then when they got back she hated him again… It just confuses me! I give this movie a 8 1/2 out of 10.

My favourite character is Katniss she is very brave and strong girl throughout the movie. My favourite part of the movie is Katniss as she puts herself up for the games instead of her sister which is very brave. I It is a very action packed movie and at sometimes you really have to think about what is happening.The fact that Children from different district are killing each other is horrible. I really found the movie entertaining and enjoyable and i rate it a 10/10 most children after the age of 11-12 years would have a little understanding of this movie but it is still great

My favourite scene is the last scene when Katniss and Peter are the saviours but once the people in charge find out district 12 has one they say that only one person can win. So Katniss and Peter each have the poison berries in there hand and they go to eat it because they don’t want to kill each other the people in charge tell them to stop and that they have one the Hungers Games because they have to have a winner. My least favourite part of the movie is when they go to the district 12 to see who are going to be the tributes for each district, and once Prim Rose was picked to fight Katniss couldn’t let her die so she volunteered. I loved it 100% and can watch it over and over again!

This movie was thrilling, captivating, surprising and it always kept you on the edge of your seat. My favourite part would have to be when Katniss found Peter because this showed a strong enough bond that one will put her life at risk to save the other. Peter was found at a very bad state but Katniss nursed him back to semi-healthy and they both ended up surviving. I am very impressed by how well this story was written because the ending was one that nobody could pick. I honestly think that the book was better than the movie but I still love this movie!! I would recommend this to anybody who isn’t scarred by gore.

I actually really enjoyed this movie, I haven’t read the book but once I saw I movie. I made me want to read the books. It has comedy, romantic, lots of action and a bit sad as well. The movie will entertain everyone, of all ages. It might be a bit scary for the little kids but they shouldn’t be to scared. I have watched it so many times and I never get bored of it. I would rate it a 8/10 and I’d recommend it to all ages above 7. Great movie!

I have listened to the book and was so excited to watch the Hunger games! It was a wonderful movie and had great landscapes. My favourite character was Peeta because of his kindness. I loved Katniss’ braveness and courage. She was exactly what I expected her to be. I loved it and I would watch it again.

The Hunger Games has always been one of my favourite movies because it so filled with Romance, Action, Comedy and a little bit of thriller. You never know what is going to pop up next, especially with all of the twists and turns throughout the movie. My favorite character would have to be Peeta, because I think he has to put up with a lot with Katniss and everything. I also like him because he is really nice and generous with everyone. All of the characters shows heaps of hope, faith and determination that is needed to guide them through the very tough Hunger Games. This movie makes you really think about what you would do if you were in Katniss, Peeta, or anyone else who were in the Hunger Games Position. This movie is really great and I recommend it to anyone over 11, whp is willing to watch a really good movie. I give the Hunger Games a 9/10!

My favourite character is josh hutsherson staring peter melark, he plays the role of the boy who is chosoen to go into the hunger games. I regret the part when rue dies it is heart breaking I cried the whole time. I recomend this for 12 and under because it can be very violent.

I would recommend ‘The Hunger Games’ to those aged 12 and over. It is a great movie, demonstrating the suffering of those at the bottom of the pecking order.
My favourite character was the main character, Katnis, played by actress Jennifer Lawrence. Her bravery was inspirational when she volunteered to save her little sister. This showed a lot of character, and demonstrated the loyalty and love the Katnis feels for her family.
I would rate this movie a 10/10 and believe it’s a film worth watching.

The Hungers Games movie is an amazing movie. I do not normally love adventure movies, but this one i absolutely love! The movie is action packed and detailed as there is a lot of things going on. The characters shows determination, persistence and faith will help you through the Hunger Games. My favourite character is Katniss she is very brave and strong. My favourite part of the movie is Katniss as she puts herself up for the games instead of her sister. I rate this movie a 9 out of 10 and recommend this movie to everyone and especially people who love adventure!

The Hunger Games movie is AMAZING! Although the book does have some extra scenes and details the movie is still wonderful. Katniss is definitely my favourite character because she is so brave and determined to get back home to her mother and Prim. I think her role is played perfectly by Jennifer Lawrence.
My favourite part of the movie is when Katniss buries Rue in flowers. It is so nice of Katniss and also a act of rebellion.
I would recommend this movie to anyone who has read and loves the Hunger Games series but also to anyone who loves action and adventure movies.
I would rate the movie a 9/10 because it does miss some details and change some scenes from the book but it is still amazing.

This is an amazing movie and has a lot of suspense throughout the whole movie. It is now one of my favourite movies because it has such good story and moral to it. It is quite disturbing at some stages although it turns out to be quite a happy ending, as some would say. As it is quite gruesome I would recommend it for children over the age of 10 and I would definitely rate it a 10/10.

This is such an amazing movie, I would rate it 8 out of 10. It’s a happy and sad movie. When I found out there was a number 2 coming out I was jumping for joy! I was over the moon because I loved the movie so much. I would recommend this movie for ages 10 to 18. My favourite part is when she they start the hunger games it’s so scary but instering!

The Hunger Games is probably the best film ever. The story and the acting is fantastic and if you haven’t seen it you must! My favourite character is either Katniss or Peeta. Katniss because she is brave courages and she is amazing in general, and Peeta as he is so sweet and caring. I would recommend it to people 11+ as it isn’t very violent to watch yet the story is very gruesome. I really loved the book as well and I have watched this movie way too many times to count (over 20). Overall I rate it a 10/10

The Hunger games is a great movie! If you have not seen it you need to. It’s basically about a group of teenagers who get sent into an arena and they have to fight to the death, until there is one victor. Although this movie is pretty gory in some parts it’s still really great, to be honest I liked the book more though. 9/10

First of all, this is an fantastic movie. The acting is superb, the effects were great, and over all, it was a great adaption. Many people are worried that it’s too violent for tweens. I’ve scrolled through the reviews, and they’re crazy. “15+. NOT for kids!” That’s a bit ridiculous.
What I noticed while seeing it that you never really see any weapons enter the body of another person. (Except for once.) You just hear a scream, and a body fall. Let’s see. . . about 50% of the deaths were off screen, and the deaths you do see aren’t horribly violent.
I recommend it for 12+! Anyway, overall I think it is a very great movie and rate it 10/10.

This is a very Interesting and you really want to keep watching movie. It is not as detailed as the book by far, but it is still one of my favourite movies. I think my favourite character is Peta. He shows real courage when he gets stabbed in the knee with a sword. I It is a very action packed movie and at sometimes you really have to think about what is happening. I can’t believe that they actually have to fight other kids from other districts. If you were Katniss or Peta How would you survive in the games? What would you do? Would you Become friends with other districts? Why? I really encourage that you read the book because you miss out on a lot of stuff in the movie. I really found the movie entertaining and enjoyable.

The hunger games is one of my favourite movies! I looooove it. It’s about games that are played every year where they choose 2 people from each of the 12 districts to compete in a killing game and the last person standing is the winner. The 2 tibutes drawn for District 12 were Katniss and Peeta. The movie is one of my favourites and I highly recommend it since I love the actining, storyline and everything!

I LOVE the hunger games it is one of my favourite movies. Although this movie is quite violent at some points its still a great movie and has a great storyline to it. My favourite character is Katniss I love the way she is so brave and loves her sister so much. Peter is another character he is so caring and very brave. There is a sad part in the movie when Rue a little girl from district 11 dies Katniss takes this very hard because she had become so close to her. The Hunger Games is one of my favourite movies I would rate it 9\10 and for people over the age of 12 because there is some very violent and gruesome.

It teaches you to be brave and believe in yourself and you just might have a chance.
Katniss is an amazing girl how she volunteers for her sister like that. Peeter is also amazing and very brave, he has a kind heart. My favourite character was Rue though, she is so kind and does not like the violence. She is very young but brave.

As i said with my other movies it does have a little of violence but it not something to be afraid of. It also has a little ROMANCE eeeeeeeeewwwwwwlalalala. But that is not the hit of the movie. But it does have a great effect and a magnificant story. there is also the HUNGER GAMES CATCHING FIRE!!! The Hunger games movie is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It has so much entertainment in it. I have watched it so many times and still cant get over how good it is. My favourite character is Katniss Everdeen because she is so brave, kind, caring and courages. My favourite part in the movie is when Katniss and Peter have to figure out who will win. My least favourite part in the movie is when Rue dies. She was such a young, brave and kind little girl. I was so upset when I saw her die. This movie is one that you could watch over and over again. I love this movie so much I can’t tell you how many times I have watched it. Its got a bit of everything in it a bit of romance, lots of sadness and so much more. I love Katniss for her bravery, kindness, love for her family and felt really close to her understanding how she felt with all her ups and downs. Some scenes creeped me out and I would recommend it for ages 12 and up. I’d rate this great movie a 9.5 out of 10!

The Hunger Games is perfect for anyone who loves an action packed and emotional adventure. It is set in the future, in a world where one state rules all areas of the country. The movie is based on the award winning novel by Suzanne Collins and features the main points of the book. I would’ve liked to see more events that happened in the book being showcased in the film. Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark were the main characters, and they both showed tremendous courage and bravery throughout the whole film, which gave it a more realistic feel. It’s definitely a film you’ll be hearing everyone talk about.

I really really liked this movie because although the actual concept was terrifying it was really griping and exciting. My favourite part of this movie is when rue is killed and Katniss makes a little memorial for her with wild flowers and makes the peace sign to the cameras. I liked this part because although it was sad it made me really happy and also provided a bit of hope for the districts and Katniss. My favorite character in this movie was either Katniss or Haysmich because they were both really nice and brave, I also liked how giving each of them were and how both of them tried to hide their fear with a hard surface. I don’t think I could have a least favourite part of this movie – I loved it all! I would most definitely recommend this movie to others because it was really excited and different and it kept you on the edge of your seat, I would recommend it to anyone but maybe not younger kids who get scared easily.

The movie was great. I read the book before the movie though and the movie made a few changes to the book like when Madge gave Katniss the pin, and in the movie she got it from the hob, also so many awesome parts of the book were cut out of the movie, I was a little disappointed but all in all it was great, I loved it when the wolf jumped out of the trees, it gave me a shock! I loved the train the took Katniss and Peeta to the Capitol, it looked so futurisitic! All in all it was a really good movie so i will give it a 9/10 easily.

The first time I watched The hunger games, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The movie is so intense and now one of my favourites. I have also read the first book, which was also a great read. My favourite character is Katniss. She has a strong heart and her attitude towards everything is just so positive. She would also put just about everything in front of her sister to make sure she stays safe. I reccomend the book and movie to people who love an intense and great story.
I cant wait for catching fire to come out soon, It should be another great movie and book to talk about.

After reading the first book, I really did expect a lot from this movie, and it did deliver. The movie practically followed the story the whole way through and it looked good while doing it, with stunning locations and amazing visual effects this movie looked outstanding. The actors on screen were all very impressive, each one of them really portraying their character really well. This movie was really action packed and I loved watching it. The scenes were really well done, with a good balance of action and screen-play the makers of this movies really pulled this movie off. I really enjoyed this movie. I rate it 9.5/10

As it says in the Genre, this movie is out of this world! I love it! But I really suggest to all book-lovers out there, read the book first then watch the movie, because there are a lot of conversations and scenes that are not at all in the movie, and it will make a lot more sense when watching the movie, and you’ll say “Oh yeah, I remember reading that part in the book, but It was just written differently.” I super pumped to watch Catching Fire, Which comes out in cinemas November 22. I obviously rate it 100/10, and may the odds be ever in your favour.

I really liked this movie. It was a super close adaption to the book and had plenty of action. I have read all the books so I was really excited to see The Hunger Games on the big screen. My favourite part of the film was the training center because you got to have a really good look at all the tributes for the first time, and it was full of action. My favourite character was Katniss because she is strong-willed and keeps a clear head during the games. I would recommend this movie to anyone who enjoyed the books because they are very similar and also anyone looking for a movie with action and adventure. 9/10. Really good film! 😀

This movie is an absolutely fantastic recreation of the book. The settings and characters are spot on in my opinion and I think the acting is fantastic. I read the book before I saw the film so had high expectations which I felt the movie lived up to.
I think they dealt with the graphic and confronting topics really well without it being difficult to watch. The concepts are still there which helps it keep true to the book. It follows Katniss Everdeen as she enters the Hunger Games, a fight to the death tournament for children from each of the districts.
My favourite character would be Katniss in the film, although she wasn’t in the books. I think Jennifer Laurence does an amazing job as Katniss and she plays it really well, making it enjoyable to watch.
My favourite part of the film is the costuming, in particular the Capitol citizens and Katniss’ dress. There were high expectations for the dress as it is so beautiful in the novel but I believe they pulled it off. The Capitol citizens look spectacular.
Overall I think an amazing cast and staying true to the book make this a fantastic film, but I do think it needs to come with a warning. If you have not read the novel the themes in this film can be incredibly confronting and disturbing. I believe that this film is for 15+ age group and would rate it 9/10

OMG!!! I loved this movie so much! I also have to recommend the book and you should read the book as well, but this is just an amazing movie and the night i came back from watching i swear for like 2 weeks all my dreams were just about “The hunger games”. It has such beautiful graphics and engaging characters which just gets your imagination going crazy (well mine sure did). After the movie i just wanted to act the whole movie out and be Katniss who is so brave and strong and i’m not going to lie here I loved Gale and Peter in this movie so protective and loving who couldn’t love them. If you haven’t already seen this movie then you have not lived.

This is one of my favourite movies ever!!! I think it is a very intense movie and I love every second minute of the movie. The movie filled with action, Suspense and a bit of romance between the two main characters. I haven’t read any of the books but after seeing the movie I think I would enjoy the books two. The hunger games is a Fantastic but really gory film. My favourite part of this movie is at the end when katniss and peter win the hunger games and get to go back to their Village to support their family’s. I also liked when katniss’ sister primrose got pulled out of the draw to compete in the hunger games. Katniss was so distressed that she sacrificed her own life and volunteered to take prim’s place in THE HUNGER GAMES. I would recommend this movie to over 12’s. And I would definitely rate this 10/10

All I can say is WOW this Movie is amazing!
A real nail bitter but this movie is crossed between an action, adventure and even a small love story at times.
My favourite part in this book is when Katniss hears her sister has to compete in the Hunger Games, but then she herself volunteers because she doesn’t want her little sister to get hurt or even Die!
My Favourite Character is defiantly Katniss Because she is very brave and courageous, even though at times she tells us watchers ( and readers if you have read the book) that she is scared, but really, who wouldn’t be scared, your basically fighting until death.
The only thing I would change is the gruesome part where Katniss and Peter throw Cato into the pit of dogs and they teared him apart, I thought this part was very gruesome.
I dont think I can relate to this Movie Though.
But defiantly 10/10 😛

Hunger Games is a sad but great movie to watch for about the age groups of 13 or 14- any age. This movie is based on 12 districts number 1 is richest and number 12 is the poorest and each district has a male and female drawn out of the bowl and the people who get drawn go into a battle with the rest of the people and only one will survive. And it ends up from the two people from district twelve end up being lovers.

The hunger games is a great movie about the strength to stay alive, it was such an intense and fist clenching movie that kept you so engaged in what was going to happen next in the movie.It is about a 12 young teenagers who are forced to fight inorder to stay alive and finish the game so they can claim there freedom. My favourite character was Katniss because she was so brave when she volunteered for her little sister not knowning what she was going to get her self into. I also liked katnis because she was so kind and generous to peter when he got sick and injured. I would definentially recommended this movie to others because it is so unique compared to other movies. I give it a 5/5 🙂

The Hunger Games! I’ve read all the books and hopefully am able to see all the movies! Katniss is so brave and amazing, Peeta may not be that brave but his artistic skills do come in handy, Prim is a quiet girl and isn’t shown much in the movie but in the second one ‘Catching Fire’ it seems like she knows her destiny, Gale is so kind-hearted and is a good role-model for Prim after Katniss leaves for the games. I didn’t exactly enjoy seeing a lot of the people being stabbed on the first day but the other parts were great! Rue was such a brave young girl and it made me sad seeing her go 😦 .
I’d recommend this book for 12+ with an 8/10. 🙂

I recommend this movie because it is very nail biting and nerve racking movie as there is a lot of running, hiding, killing and fighting in this movie. There is a great amount of horror in this movie so if you don’t like blood and guts movies you may not like this movie. The best part of the movie The Hunger Games was when they were all fighting for the last one standing and then the people that control the game put those really fast and scary looking dogs in the game and they were chasing Peter and Catness. The part I didn’t like about this movie was when they were about to eat the berries so they both died and it was nerve racking because you didn’t know if they were going to eat them or not because it paused and went really slow so that it builds suspense. I loved this movie and I recommend it to people who like nail biting and horror movies. 🙂

This movie is one of the best movies. It has very intelligent and mature themes perfect for a nice movie day at home. It is probably not suitable for young children from what the meaning behind it is. i thorough this book showed true strange and courage throughout the characters emotions. this book showed how when to people meet and grow stronger as they came together to change the rules of ‘hunger games’. I really enjoyed when the director used such great detail and power through the cores.

I love the hunger games movie so much! I do like the book much more but the movie was still amazing! I have legit watched the movie like 10 times. I love it how Katniss loves Prim so much that she volunteers for her. The theme of the movie (killing innocent children) is so dark but when you think about it the entire movie is about standing up for what is right and protecting the people that you love. I liked the actors they chose to represent the characters in the movie. Overall I really enjoyed this movie and would recommend it to everyone to watch! 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

I really love the Hunger Games, if I could change the ending I would make it so that Katniss and Peter got off the hook after they both escaped and also that President Snow had to poison himself for letting them both out alive ( which sounds mean i know ) I think that Katniss is my favorite character because she helped some people who were pore and gave them food and also that she always stands up for what she believes in. I also love how she promised her sister she would come back and looked after Peter when he got sick in the arena. I think the Hunger Games is one of my favorite movies!!

OMG! I love the hunger games it is great even though it is about fighting to the death. It’s a great story because it has a different scenery and culture how the richer people from the main part wear all crazy clothes and all colourful. My favourite part in the movie would be when the dog thing jumped out it was so funny even though I jumped in the cinema’s. I would recommend the movie for people who don’t mind seeing a bit of blood and fighting scenes but overall I would defiantly recommend it 10/10 because it is so unique and different then other film’s.

I love the book and movie so much, its great. The characters have so many amazing rolls to play. My favourite part of the book would have to be when the little girl passes away, because the words and description they use to describe things is just amazing, it was also so heart touching. My favourite part of the movie would have to be when the older sister said that she would go to war for her younger sister, i believe that was a great part because it showed courage. i would recommend this movie/book to the ages 11+. I absolutely love The Hunger Games. It has the most interesting story line. The movie has such great actors, with well known actors to young up coming stars.
I have read all three book which are amazing in it’s self but then it comes to the movie which does so much justice for the book.
Even though some may think that it is inappropriate but I think the is so much behind the fighting and the Games.

The Hunger Games is a fantasy movie. The story takes place in the future and certain boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 18 must take part in the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is a televised annual event in which the “tributes” are required to fight to the death until there is one remaining victor. It is a fight for survival which requires finding your own food and weapons. I absolutely love this movie. It is brilliant and actors and special effects are outstanding. I rate this movie 9.5/10! This is just an amazing movie! I really enjoyed watching Katniss and her journey through the Hunger Games. The storyline is thrilling and I just couldn’t look away during her time in the arena, fighting for her life and her exciting love story with Peeta and Gale. I would definitely recommend this to everyone because it is just a really good movie, however I would read the book first to get a better understanding of what is happening, because the movie in unclear for some parts! This is such a great movie! I can not stop watching it! I love everything about it! The characters, the drama and mystery, and definitely that actors in it. I’m hoping they are making a sequel because if they aren’t I’m going to be very upset! The thing I love about this movie is how it’s such a drama with the battles and that they’re poor, but at the same time it’s a love story. I also love how it keeps you hanging. For example who will win the battle, and who will Katniss choose. My favourite parts of the movie are.. 1. when Katniss volunteers so her little sister Prim doesn’t have to go through the dangerous journey. 2. When Katniss becomes friends with Rue (a younger character who is also in the battle) and when she dies how Katniss looks after her body. 3. When Peeta is injured and Katniss goes to get him medicine and this is when they first fall in love. I’d have to say my favourite character overall is Katniss as she is so brave and selfless. It is so selfless and brave how she enters the battle so her sister can live, and also how she risks her life to get Peeta medicine. I can’t wait until the next movie comes out!

OMG i loved the hunger games and i thought it was amazing and so, so, so good. you really did feel like you were in the movie right the and there and i thought it was great. My favourite character was katniss she is just so determained to do what she did and she just rocked it. nearly every second i was like off my seat i didnt know if she was gonna die or what was going to happen and it was so scary to know what could happen next. But i thought it was actually really sad though like why would they do that to people. And a thing that id didnt get very much was the people in it the make up they were wearing it must be like this different world type thing which made it very interesting. This is such a fantastic movie i defiantly reccomend it to everyone in the world its great but very frightening but still totally amazing loved it so much. So people go out there and buy this movie right now its fantasic i rate it 10/10 fabulous. 🙂 :0 😦

I have read the books and seen the movie and as always the book beats the movie but I still love the movie. It has plenty of action and adventure and is always doing something else to draw you into it some more. As soon as the movie started I got sucked into Katniss’ life and felt like i was there experiencing it all along side her. The movie really sucks you in and makes you want the movie to go on forever (luckily there will be more movies coming out soon) My favourite character is Katniss, purely because of her determination and courage during the games, she shows her love and bravery all throughout the movie and especially when she volunteers to take her sisters place.
My other favourite character is Rue, she is amazing to be doing the things she does at her age, I know I would never have the bravery to do half the things she does.
I love both the book and the movie and can’t wait in till catching fire comes out! I give it 10/10

I love the romance and the adventure. I love each character and when Katniss volunteered as tribute for her sister it touched my heart. I really like how Katniss and Peter try and go against the capitol and get there own way. This movie is great and I recommend it to everyone in the world! I rate it a 10 out of 10!!!!!!! 😀

The Hunger Games is one of my favourite movies! It is so interesting and thrilling it keeps you on the edge of your seat. After watching this first movie out of the trilogy I went and read all of the books and fell in love with the series. My favourite character would have to be Catniss because she has such a strong personality and really knows how to defend herself. Also, she doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything which is also a very good trait to have if you are in the Hunger Games. This movie was a mix of romance, action packed adventure and it was also a bit of a tear jerker in some parts. I would recommend this movie to people 12+ because there are some parts that may scare young children. I would definitely rate this movie 10/10 because it was just so amazing. I can’t wait for Catching Fire to come out at the end of this year!

I thought the hunger games was a really good movie. After I watched it I was really egar to read the book.I loved how it had a different story line then most movies and has you on the edge of your seat through out the whole movie! The characters suit the movie and are really relatable.I love the way it is exciting and action packed but still has a few sad scene’s.
I would defiantly recommend this to 11 years and up. I rate it 8/10! 😀

I loved the hunger games! It was such a thriller to watch and It is defiantly one of my favourite movies as I have seen it over and over again. Katniss was defiantly my favourite character because her role was played so well by Jennifer Lawrence. I could some how connect with her in a way. I would recommend that people should read the book before watching the movie just so you can imaginative before watching the real deal. Overall I would rate this movie a 10/10 as it is amazing!

The Hunger Games is one of my favourite adventure movies! It is a really exciting, touching and wonderful movie to watch! My favorite character is Katniss because I love the part when Katniss volunteered as a tribute for her little sister Prim. I loved that part because Katniss put herself in danger for Prim’s sake and I think that that is a really brave thing to do. I love the adventure and sitting-on-edge experience The Hunger Games has in it. I would watch The Hunger Games over and over again. This movie was exciting, sad, interesting, happy, gruesome, romance, mystery and everything in between! It certainly got my heart pounding so loud that I was almost sure people could hear it pounding in the movie theater! It was full of surprises and all that good stuff that makes you hide your eyes. Having read the books, I thought they made the movie exceptionally well, of course I still believe the book is better.
But seeing one of my all time favourite books come to life was amazing! The actors were fantastic especially, Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson. It was really great casting.
And overall I begged my mum for weeks and weeks to buy the DVD (which I have watched countless times, that I could recite the whole thing!) and finally I broke her with my constent nagging.
It such an emotional journey. I think I may have shed a couple of tears when watching it for the first time. But the best bits for me is all the action and running. It is a great story line very imaginative and keeps readers and watchers everywhere wanting more! Its nail-biting stuff I have to admit, so I would recommend it for people 12+ just because of all the violence and mature themes that it would not be suitable for anyone younger.
And I honestly can’t wait until Catching fire comes out!

I absolutely loved the hunger game. It is such a great movie, full of action and keeps you intrigued. My favourite part of the movie is when Katniss’ sister Primrose’s name get drawn out so she has to compete in the Hunger Games but Katniss volunteers to take her place. This part was really interesting. My favourite character would have to be Katniss because she played her roll extremely well. This movie made me cringe and almost cry. It is such a breathtaking movie and makes you sit on the edge of your seat. This movie was made really well. It is one of the best movies i have ever seen before. I rate it a 10/10 and i recommend it to people ages 12+! Great movie 🙂

So action packed and a bit gruesome.
It was very exciting and keeps you on the edge of your seat and the pillow covering your eyes.
I would recommend this for anyone who doesn’t really mind when there is lots of killing and blood going on.
It is a really smart movie of how it was created and is so breathtaking you could almost have a heart attack.
Its a bit violent and gruesome so it would definitely be for people over the age of 12.
So excited about the next one!

As soon as it came out on DVD, I watched it around 10 times!
This is a must see movie, I loved how it is set in the future and that everything is modern.
This is a genius storyline and I recommend to read the trilogy because it has so much more detail in it than the actual movie.
I love the setting and how the characters are portrayed from the book to the movie because this is exactly how I picture them.
Even though it is a beautiful and breathtaking movie, it is violent in some areas and I don’t recommend for people at least under 11.
I rate this 10/10 and I can’t wait for movie 2!!!

I watched The Hunger Games for the first time yesterday. JENNIFER LAWRENCE IS AMAZING! She plays Katniss SO well I couldn’t believe it was her first movie. I love when Katniss shoots the arrow through the apple in the pig’s mouth. Effie Trinkett needs to lay off the make up! I love how Peter camouflages in the river and Katniss helps him. I attempted to read the book but got bored in the first 30 or so pages. I cried when Rue died and thought it was beautiful how Katniss shut her eyes and scattered flowers around her body. I rate this movie a 9.5 out of 10. It was quite violent and extremely graphic and would recommend it to people at least 10 years old. Even I got goosebumps from the stabbing!

I really love the hunger games. I saw it at the movies with my family and I absolutely loved it. I thought it was really good and I loved all the action in it! I loved the storyline because I absolutely love Jennifer Lawrence! I thought this movie was great! My favourite character was Hamitch because I thought he was really funny. I rate this movie a 4/5! I do think this movie should not be watched for children under the age of 9, because it’s very violent and it’s quite graphic!

I absolutely LOVED The Hunger Games!!! Because it’s very nail-biting and exhilarating! My favourite part in the movie would have to be when Katniss volunteers for her little sister Prim, because Katniss shows a lot a courage for taking her sister’s place in a fight to the death and love towards her sister. My favourite character would have to be Katniss and Peeta. Katniss because she is very confident and loyal towards her family. She is courageous and independent by learning how to hunt animals and food in the forest (with the help of her dad). Peeta because of the kindness he shows to his family and friends and his talent on convincing absolutely anyone with his words. I can sort of relate to Katniss, I’m quite close to my sister and I would do anything to keep her from trouble. My least favourite part would definitely have to be the bloodbath, because of all the blood and killings and all that. I don’t have the strongest stomach. Another part I didn’t like was when Glimmer got killed by the tracker-jackers, again I don’t have the strongest stomach. If I could change something about the movie would be adding the parts they missed out from the books, like Katniss’ hearing loss, Peeta’s amputation, Katniss’ fight between herself if she really loves Peeta or it’s just for the cameras and the relationship between the Districts and the Capitol. I would definitely recommend this to 11+ because it is the most exhilarating movie I have ever seen, it made my heart pump fast at times and made me hold my breath in suspense. I would rate this a 10/10 and no doubt about it!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie is one everyone off all ages will enjoy! It’s thrilling, action packed and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. It showed so many emotions throughout this film and was so exciting. It was an easy film to follow and I loved how it showed the different lifestyles like when Katniss lived in poverty but then went into the hunger games and was so well known. I love The Hunger Games! It’s literally my favourite movie! For anyone that hasn’t watched it, I highly recommend you do! My favourite character is Rue! But it’s sad how she dies 😦 My least favourite character is Cato because he’s so vicious. The only part of the movie I would change would be all the blood and gore. YUCK! I would recommend this movie for ages 12+ I also recommend you read the books as well because they’re amazing 😀 I am really excited for Catching Fire!

I adore the hunger games. The first time I watched it, i was transfixed the whole time. It is an amazing film, and I will definitely be watching it for years to come. It is a very touching movie, and I must admit that yes I did cry a bit, especially when little Rue dies. 😦 But yes, I would definitely give this movie a 9 and 3 quarters out of ten, because it is absolutely SPECTACULAR! I recommend this to people from the ages of ten and older.

‘The Hunger Games’ is an action packed movie, filled with lots of violence, drama, romance and at sometimes, even really sad. I really loved this movie, even though it is way different to the books. My favourite character was either Katniss, because I loved how she was so generous and protective over her little sister Primrose, so much that she would volunteer to be be in the ‘Hunger Games’ rather then Prim, or I would have to say my other favourite character is Rue. I loved her cheekiness and how she was so cute! One of the saddest things in the movie is how much Katniss and her family are living in poverty, along with the rest of district 12. My favourite scene has gone to be when those monster dog come out, it had me on the edge of my scene wondering what would happen. The Hunger Games is one of my favourite movies, and I have seen close to a thousand times. I would recommend it to anyone over 10, as some parts are really violent, but other then that, all and all it is an fatastic movie. I would rate it 9/10!

One of my friends got me to watch this with her. I was a bit dubious at first, but then as the movie progressed I really began to feel empathy for all the children competing in the games. And became slightly obsessed with the crazy fashions from the Capitol.
If you’re in high school and like adventure films, this is a good one to watch if you haven’t already.

Its the best of the best of the best of the BEST MOVIE EVER!! OUT of this world people!! I am The Biggest most humungous Giagantic fan of THE HUNGER GAMES EVER!!! Believe me, I am. It only took me 2 hours to finish The first Hunger Games book, then a further 3 hours for Catching Fire and it took me almost a day to finish Mocking Jay. And the very next day I went to the cinema to see the very first Movie!! Since then I have watched it over 6 times and I have bought the limited edition Collectors box of The Hunger Games movie. I reccomend this Movie and Book Series to All ages! ( except toddlers, duh!) I would also reccomend for True Lovers of The Hunger Games the Katniss Everdeen barbie doll which is not childish but it is childish if you play with it, Which I have NEVER played with. Its only for display purposes, and LEAVE IT IN THE BOX! If you leave it in the box you are a True Hunger Games fan. The best part of the movie is when Katniss volenteers. Truley the best part. Also if any of you are wondering when the Mockingjay and Catching Fire movies are in cinema look below. Hunger Games fans UNITE!!

I love the hunger games, because it is a thrill seeking movie that has drama, action ( LOTS OF ACTION! ) and is a movie for around the ages of 11- 17! it is sad in parts and really exciting in others. It is rated M and if it were real, and i were picked i would be really scared at first, but i would try and use my skills to win in the arena, i would also try to stand up against the capitol. i think the hunger games is a great movie and i rate it 10/10!

The Hunger Games movie was alright… I liked the books way better. The trailer above looks really good, but I just didn’t like it. I don’t think the movie really showed how Katniss is such a rebel, and how she doesn’t do things like be friendly or have boyfriends. I suppose one of the reasons that I didn’t like it was because the characters weren’t at all like the ones in my head. Why does Katniss have such chubby cheeks? She was starving for a whole winter, ribs prominent and everything. I don’t think she would have kept her baby fat after all that. But when I think about it, there wasn’t that much of a story after you take out Katniss’ thoughts. As the story was in first person and we could read what she was thinking in the books, it really takes something out of the movie. The acting wasn’t all that good either, but I suppose they did the best with what they had. Of course, if you’re a big fan of the Hunger Games, you will love the movie no matter what, so don’t take my comment to heart and immediately think this movie is bad. It’s just what I personally think. I’d just go with the book rather than the movie. Even so, since I loved the book and the movie was based off it, so it was still pretty awesome, I’ll give it a 7/10.

I think that this book is way better than the movie because it explains all lot more in the book than it even shows in the movie. The best part in the book is when she volunteers herself to go in the hunger games after her sister is chosen. I also like when she finds Peter in mud where he has been cut in the leg and left for dead. What i don’t like about the book is when Rue dies because she was very special to Katniss. The most interesting part in the book is that the place they are in is poor and a bit like Africa but when the peace-keepers come to the town ( district 12 ) and then the movie becomes a bit futuristic.

I LOVE THE HUNGER GAMES! It is one of my three favourite movies of all time! My favourite character is the mentor because even though he was sort of mean, and rude at the start, he was really nice to Katniss and Peeta at the end. I would recommend this movie for anyone (girls and boys) over 10 because it’s a bit violent and little kids wouldn’t enjoy it that much. The Hunger Games the movie is not nearly as good as the book but it is still an AMAZING movie. It’s a bit guts and gory but it’s a really interesting storyline. It is about a girl called Katniss that lives in district 12 (that like her town kind of) and each year a girl and a boy have to go into an area and fight in what is called the hunger games. Katniss’s sister is called out at the reeping (that’s when they choose who will go into the area.) Katniss volunteers to go in for her and the movie is all about Katniss trying to survive the games. It’s an amazing movie but I would really recommend reading the book first. It’s really good and their are 2 really hot guys in it so it appeals to everyone!!!!!!! I give it a 10/10

This movie was soooo great!! It had many feelings throughout it and I could never see what was going to happen next. I really liked how Katniss was so close to her sister and how loving she was to basically take her own life for her little sister, this was heart-breaking. I was really surprised how the people in the Capitol lived compared to the people at district 12. My favourite part of this movie was when Peeta said that he loved Katniss! As soon as the games started it became so intense. Ao many times it was a near miss that Katniss didn’t die. I almost cries when we found out that Peeta had joined that gang and were trying to hunt down Katniss. I really liked the romance in this book and I loved how they both finished winners and stood up against the capitol!!!

My favourite character would Katniss and my favourite part is when she helps the younger girl. I did cry at one point and i think it is really sad how they treat the districts. I couldn’t even imagine how I would feel if my name got pulled out.

The hunger games is really a great movies, its is captivating and I really enjoyed watching it. The storyline is very true to the book and the feelings and thoughts are well shared through the screen by the way it has been filmed. It doesn’t get boring and doesn’t feel like the long film that it actually is. With the great acting and lots of action and drama I would rate it a 9.5/10 and recommend it to any one you would enjoy this type of movie.

I recommend this movie to 12 and up this is because it’s a bit brutal and scary but older people would LOVE it. This movie is about district 12 and the main characters Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen and their struggles in the hunger games. The hunger games is when 2 people (a boy and a girl) from districts 1-12 have to battle it out to the death until there is only one person left standing, and that person would be the winner. My favourite part would be when Katniss and Rue meet and how Rue reminds Katniss of her sister and helps Rue find food and protects her. My least favourite part was because it was sad when Rue dies that really hit hard and it was so sad. My favourite character was Rue because she was so nice and cute it was so sad when she died!!!
I give this movie rating a 9 out of 10 it was superb!

WOW! That is possibly the only word that can possibly describe the Hunger Games! I was on the edge of my seat the WHOLE time! I saw this in 3D and that was a big mistake!!! I really liked this movie because It was like no movie I have ever seen before! It was very voilent though…. Anyway I give it a 7.5/10 but that is just for me because I know girls who would give it 100000/10! So I would recommend it to everyone to give a try, but if you don’t like violence or action films it’s not for you! Also don’t take little kids…

I think theres just a tad to much violence in Hunger Games, like all the creepy pale faces lying on the ground with blood all over their faces and knives in their throats and stuff, but it was amazing because your on the edge the whole time wondering whats gonna happen and waiting for something! Oh My Gosh this movie is the most amazing movie i have ever seen in my life. I love it and i have been meaning to read the book but i am reading other book and its hard to read 2 books at once. Anyway this book is mind boggling at the start you think oh my gosh she’s only 12 (Prim Rose) why she shouldn’t be allowed and then her sister (Katniss) volunteers as tribute. Its so sad when Katniss makes a friend i have forgotten her name and that guy kills her and Katniss surrounds her in flowers and the leaves. i would recommend this movie for 12+ because it’s a little violent and groosem. i almost jumped out of my skin when that big dog jumped out of nowhere it was so scary. i rate this movie a 1,000,000/10 it is awesome if you haven’t seen it you must you will not regret it!!!!!!!

Katniss Everdeen is as normal as you can get in the poverty stricken District 12. She does though leaves to hunt in the forest with best mate Gale. Katniss is very good with her bow and arrow and people who buy her meat illegally also comment on it. She dreaded the day when her younger sister Primrose was old enough to be placed in the reaping and when Primrose got called out her nightmares where confirmed. After being the first person in District 12 to volunteer as tribute she knows she has just signed her death sentence. She, along with Peeta Melark, travel to the Capitol to compete in The Hunger Games. Will she survive or will she die? I think The Hunger Games was an amazing movie! It was very well done and nearly was as good as the book. My favourite character was Peeta because he is very kind to Katniss and how he always want to help her. I also really like Hamitch because of his laid back attitude and he was really funny!My favourite scene would have to be in the cave where Katniss got to know Peeta better. I recommend this movie to anyone above the ages of 12 because it is a violent movie and it can be scary. I give it a 9/10 and you will enjoy it!!

I love the movie Hunger games it’s one of my favourite movies. I haven’t read the book but the movie is the best and I think you should see it. Hunger games is about a girl called Katniss and she safes her sister from going into the game and beside her is Peter the other person who had to go to the games. Katniss and Peter kiss in the movie which makes Gale a bit jealous. Katniss and Peter make it out at the end together and win the crown. Peter i think like Katniss but i’m not sure If kateniss really likes him. At then end it’s a bit happy but though the movie it’s sad so I would only let 11 and up ages to watch it. I think the HUnger Games was a very good movie. I have not read the book, but a lot of people said it was only slightly different. My favourite character was Katniss because she was really strong and inspiring. My favourite part was the end, because of Katniss and peters almost sacrifice. I think this movie would scare children under ten years old, because this movie involves so much violence. So maybe 10 and up. I would rate this movie a 8 and a half/ 10. 🙂

When you are 12 its your first year of a chance to be in the hunger games. Everyone gets there name put in once. Primrose in katniss’s sister and gets pulled out to go into the hunger games:( katniss volunteers to go to the hunger games for prim. Katniss and Peeta are the tributes for district 12! I rate this movie a 10/10 because it is different from all other movies and a very interesting movie! I think that everyone should watch this even if they dont think they’ll like it because they probably will! I have watched it 5 times and its still so good!

this was a very good movie, I don’t think it was as good as the book, but I really liked the actors that they chose for the main characters.
it was done very well and they only missed out on a few points of the book, but the part that really annoyed me was when the dogs chased them in the book it said that they looked like the falled tributes, but in the movie they all looked the same but apart form that I really enjoyed it!
I dont think that it would be very good for children aged from 0-9.

I would recommend this movie for people ages 10-15 because it has some fighting scenes. I also recommend reading the book because that is very good aswell. The Hunger Games is an amazing movie. My favourite character would have to be Rue because she is so kind and caring. I liked how the movie was set in the future and how in the Capitol it was really futuristic. I thought the storyline was good but they took out some good parts that were on the book. I would recommend this book to people over 13 years old because of the violence and some scary scenes. I have to rate this movie a 10/10 because of all the action and the storyline!!! 🙂

I Love this movie so much !!!!!!! But if there was one thing that i think they could work on, It took AAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGEEEEESSSS to get to the fighting part!!!!! And once it got to the fighting part the camera moved to quick so it was everywhere. Yeah it was good that they were trying to make it look realistic but the camera just moved to quick i started to get annoyed! But there was an awesome story line, and im not trying to make the movie sound bad because i actually really enjoyed it! I would rate the story line 10/10

The Hunger games is a gripping movie, it is amazingly done and just sucks you in for more. I went to the movies and saw it 3 times. I bought it on DVD as soon as it came out and have watched it many times since then. It is so sweet and brave of what the main character did for her sister and went into the hunger games instead of her. I love the saying through out the movie “Happy Hunger Games and may the odds be ever in you favour.” I love this movie, it is a little scary at times, I hated the bit with the bees because I am terrified by them. I would rate this movie a 9 out of 10, very well done and I would recommend it for teenagers or Adults.

The Hunger Games was made into a terrific movie, despite a couple of minor details that they didn’t include when creating it. Every time I watch the movie I feel the need to read the whole series again.
The movie sort of gave me an idea of some things; like how the Capitol accent sounds, what the general Capitol clothes look like and so on. I like how most of the time it’s focused on Katniss however at some times during the actual Hunger Games they switch back to the Gamemakers.
I would recommend this movie to anyone that is mature and prepared to want to read the books. The Hunger Games movie is so widely known and I would give it an eight out of ten.
I’m glad that it’s finally on DVD so that I can watch it when ever I feel like it.

This movie has got to be my favourite movie. When I saw it, I hadn’t read the book but somehow I still understood everything. The actors chosen were perfect for the parts and every single scene of the movie was amazing. My favourite character would have to be Peeta because he is so cute and he is so kind to Katniss even though she doesn’t treat him so nice at the beginning. I find the movie really exciting and there are so many unexpected things and I think the saddest scene was when Rue died 😦 I give this movie a 10/10!

The hunger games is very interesting and really gets you wondering what will happen next. I didn’t read the books however I still loved the movie just as much and i found it more convenient then reading. I really love the whole concept of the hunger games. My favourite character would have to be Katnis, as she is strong and shows great bravery all throughout her journey at the hunger games. It is definitely a must see movie, and you are never to old to see it. I would recommend the movie / books to people around the age of 13, as it does have some scary and brutal scened in it. it also makes me feel very lucky to live in australia, as things like this dont happen here. The author and creator obviously have great minds as this story is very very excellent. I would rate this movie a 10 / 10 !

What can i say ….. The Hunger Games is an amazing movie that keeps you on the end of your seat for the whole movie. Katniss has the courage to take her sisters place to participate in the Hunger Games for district 12. Parts of the movie are pretty intense, sad and thrilling. It has a very good story line and i would recommend this movie to anyone because i think many people would enjoy it !!! 🙂 i would rate this movie 10000000/10.

I have read the book and watched the movie! They are both so amazing! i love them so much because they have so many different aspects to them that are so unique and different to anything else that I have ever seen before. I found that parts of the movie were quite sad like when she volunteers for her little sister. If I had to chose a theme on genre for this movie it would be almost impossible, it is so different at parts but in the end it all works very well together. I rate this movie 4 and a half stars and recommend it to everyone !

The hunger games is an amazing movie! It’s a very unique movie and very exciting. I haven’t read the book yet, but I certainly will soon. So many people love this movie because it is so thrilling and enticing to watch. I have seen it twice now, and I was excited both times I watched it. It’s very hard to take your eyes off the screen! My favourite character is Rue. I love Rue because she is so kind to Katniss and extremely intelligent. I was frustrated when Peter betrayed Katniss and joined the litle group during the games. Although he did help her later on. This is a great movie that I could watch many, many times over. I would rate it 9/10 and recomend it to an audience aged 12-16 🙂

My favourite character is Katniss because she is brave and very caring. I would recommend this movie for people 11 or older because of violence. I really enjoyed this movie because it is very adventurous and i like those sorts of movies. The reason i liked this movie was because i had never seen anything like it. i had seen war movies before but i had never seen kids fighting in the Hunger games so there was no war. My favorite bit in the movie was when Katniss and Peter where the last ones in the game and they both went to bot h eat the poison berry so no one won but they stopped the gae before the ate the poison berry, and then they both went home alive and they had had won the Hunger Games. I would rate this movie a 10/10 because it is just a great movie and anyone can enjoy watching this movie.

Recently, I had watched a film that goes by the name: The Hunger Games. I saw it with my friends who read the book and they said the book was better than the movie. This is most cases with books that get made into films. But I really liked this movie so it was good and interesting. It has a good storyline and kept my engaged. My favourite character is Peeta because it’s a cutie. That is all. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes to watch films. I also think this film is a 5/5

I really enjoyed the Hunger Games. I did not know anything about the movie or the books before it came out. But I was very intrigued from the very start. I believe the actors were best fit for the role and the costumes and graphics didn’t overall the brilliance of the actors. My favourite character was definitely Ryu. I just love the look of her and I love her name. Although the movie is not for everyone, I would recommend it to people 11 onwards due to bloody violent scenes. My favourite part was when Katnis met Ryu they were a great pair who looked out for each other an were undefeatable until Ryu’s death.
I really recommend seeing it.

I loved the movie!! Before I went to see it, I hadn’t read the book, so I didn’t really know the storyline! But after I made sure I read the book and I found that the movie got a lot of things wrong. The relationship between Peter and Katniss didn’t seem the same and the movie didn’t really explain the state of their relationship (whether it was real or not- which one of them liked each other) so I found it a bit unclear. But overall, it was a blockbuster movie and I enjoyed every minute of it! Even enough to watch it another 3 times!! I would rate it 10/10 🙂

This movie really matched the book. It missed some of the parts in the book, but they weren’t crucial to the story. The characters were portrayed perfectly and they almost completely matched the description from the book. It can get a little bit gory or violent at the time, but it’s not too bad. You don’t really have to read the book to watch the movie, but if you want background information, you should read it. The set matches the book well and the epic parts of the book are even more amazing and dramatic in this movie. I recommend this movie to everyone.

The Hunger games is an action packed movie filled with thrills, romance, drama and action. It’s about 12 young kids fighting to stay alive, killing each other until there’s one left standing. The games is run every year and there is two names chosen from each district to compete. When Katnis’s sisters name was chosen Katis volunteered straight away to protect her sister so she wouldn’t have to compete. As Katnis and the 11 other people enter the games will she make it out alive or will she die? I truly loved this movie and I recommend that everyone ages 12 and up should go and watch this movie and I rate this 5/5 stars.

I really loved the hunger games and I found it really enjoyable to watch. Although it was a bit blood thirsty and gory. It was a very action packed and full of adventure. I loved the actors in the movie and how they were the perfect for the role. I loved the romance between the characters and the relationships between all the people. I loved the story line and how it all works together. My favourite character was Ryu because she was so sneaky and protective. Though there were some sad parts and some scary parts, this movie is the best movie I have ever seen! And its a great book too!!!!!

I really loved the hunger games!! I didn’t read the books however I still loved the movie just as much. I really love the whole concept of the hunger games. I also loved at the started the strength she showed when her sister was chosen and then she volunteered herself, that was very courageous. My favourite part would definitely be the ending. Where love shows through, and they both get out ok. I really did love the movie the hunger games and would definitely rate it a ten out of ten. I absolutely loved it!! I recommend it to everyone as it is a truly powerful movie, with lots of action.

I have also recently seen the Hunger Games and thought it was AWESOME! I loved all of the action,romance and all the different characters. This movie is about a tournament that goes on every year called the hunger games they pick 1 young boy and girl from each district to fight for there lives. The main character is called Katniss Everdeen, Her little sister Primrose got picked as the tribute for district 12 but stood up and volunteered as a tribute. My favourite part is when they first see the Capitol and they have all of the weird looking people watching. I recommend 10+ because it is quite violent.

I have recently seen the movie ‘Hunger Games’. I loved all of the action. It was exciting and all of the characters actions brought me really into the movie. You could tell they had practiced and practiced their rolls/scripts because they did not at one tiny little bit mess up. It was AMAZING!! I love all of the surprises that were unexpected and seeing how Katniss lived in district 12 and then seeing her move onto the luxurious train and the luxurious home stay. It was amazing!! I give it a 10/10

best movie i have seen in a while!!!!!! This movie has a strong, heart stopping, fist clenching story line. Katniss Everdeen, is a stronfg, courageous, protective oler sister of Primrose Everdeen. Togehter, with their mother they live in the poor district that is district 12. 74 years ago there was a rebellion against the top city that controlls the districts. A large war broke out, finally after a while peace came. But it cane with a consequence, every year a young boy and girl would be chosen from each District to fight to their death in the ‘Hunger Games’. When Primrose is chosen, Katniss, volunteers as tribute, protecting her sister. This is a story of love, courage, a never giving up. It has something for everyone there is a couple funny scenes, sad scenes, romantic scenes, adventurous scenes and has something for everyone and has you sitting on the edge of your seat the whole time. I rate it 10/10 and recommend it for 13 years and up as it can get a bit violent.i loove it !!!!!!

The Hunger Games is amazing! It really brings to life of what a situation could be like. The characters played there rolls perfectly, and seemed what could really happen in real life. The situation is perfect, and i liked how this movie came straight to life. It really seems like that Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark can fight to the death to get money fame and fortune for their poor district. The end of the movie left us in suspense, when Katniss and Peeta survive the games and are being congratulated in their city. WELL DONE KATNISS AND PEETA!!!!! LOVE YA!

I highly recommend the movie Hunger Games. My mum had Had Been forcing me to read the books but i judged it by the cover and not what was inside. I watched the movie of it. The movie was was so good words can not explain just how great it was. The film technic that the director uses are so exact and used well during the movie. I would recommend this Movie for people 15 years or younger, as any younger you wont be able to understand well. This movie is appropriate for both boys and girls

I really loved this movie! At first I thought I wouldn’t like it much, but it turned out to be one of my favourite movies! I loved it because it had some romance and intense scenes in it, but it also had some sad and teary scenes. Katniss is probably one of my favourite characters because she helps people and is independent, but I also liked Peeta. I would definitely recommend this book to others, because even if you think you might not like it, you most likely will once you have seen it. I rate it a 10/10 and recommend it to everyone over the age of 11.

I loved the books and I loved the movie as well! I am addicted! I thought the movie was going to be much more bloody and gruesome but it was good because the camera moved to different places so you didn’t see anyone get stabbed or killed.
I recommend that you read the books before you watch the movie. It will help you understand the movie more and know who all the characters are. Also when you read the books you imagine what you think it looks like in your head, and if you read the books then see the movie you will know what it actually looks like compared to your own vision.
I want them to make the next movie ASAP because I can’t wait to see it!!!
I think you should see this movie if you are over the age of 13. There is a warning for violence and there is violence in it.
Definitely 10/10 from me!!

I LOVED the hunger games. I was acually suprised that I enjoyed it so much. I loved the romance in it but again suprisingly i loved the fighting too. At some of the fighting parts the camera work was not great but the rest was amazing! I acually went out and brought the books and found they were a bit different but i liked watching the movie first before reading the books. I loved Peeta and Katniss they were definatley my faveourites but i also loved Rue!!! EVERYONE should see it!!! they will be pleasently suprised! I give it 10/10 and i recommend it to 12+ (P.S Josh Hutcherson isnt hard to look at through out the movie!! aha)

My cousins introduced me to The Hunger Games because they told me about the books and how i should most definitely read them. I never ended up reading the book and i still haven’t today. All though i did go and see the movie and i thought it was truly the best movie i had ever seen. It made me feel so lucky to be living in a country, like Australia were things like “The Huger Games” don’t actually happen. I had seen the trailer many times and been waiting for the movie to come out for weeks and was so excited when it was released. This movie is about the 12 districts and how a boy and a girl between the ages of 12 and 18 go in a battle against the other boys and girls for the other 11 districts and fight until there is only 1 person standing. It might take hours, days or even weeks until the battle is over. This movie shows, courage, faith and love. I would recommend this movie to people around the age of 13 as it does have some scary and gruesome scenes. I think this movie is going to be a big hit all around the world. The creator must be very talented to think of a story line as creative and detailed as this. I rate this movie a BIG 10/10!

I wasn’t very excited to go and see the hunger games, but once I saw it, I really loved it. Most people think teenagers killing teenagers sounds horrible in a movie, but it does have a very interesting plot and you dont see all the details of the violence that occurs. My favourite character was Katniss because she was very strong and courageous and a caring sister, to volunteer. My least favourite part was when one of the little girls from the district died, (not going to say who, in case you haven’t seen it yet) because it was so sad. I would recommend this movie/book to people over 12, because it is a little bit violent and scary/sad at times.

I saw the hunger games the first day it came out, i was so excited! now im literally obsessed! i recommend this for 13+ only because it is complicated, i dont think 10 yr olds will understand. My favourite character would be peeta, and he is one of my favourite actors (Josh Hutcherson) I give it a 10/10 and i would watch it everyday if i could! i love it! its romantic, and has alot of action and drama too! its 100000000 times better than i expected! and at one part my heart was racing when the mutt came out! Such an amazing movie/book !

Hunger Games was absolutely a thriller to watch. Full of action, excitement and romance. The story takes place in the future with incredible large detail to how the movie works. I think this movie has become a big hit (why wouldn’t it). I would put this movie up against Harry Potter. Susan Collins has put up a new series that will go up against twilight or harry potter. The movie puts you on the edge of your seat. The movie has such great creativity and imagination. I’d recommend this to people 11+. Great movie to watch i recommend you go see it. I’d rate it 10/10.

I loved the hunger games! It is defiantly now one of my favourite movies I keep wanting to go back to the cinemas to see it again. I really liked the character Katniss because her role so played so well by Jennifer Lawrence. Everything in the movie was 100 times better than I pictured it and I pictured it to be really good. Everything looked so real and creative. But I thought the part when the wolf/dog things came out was really scary. So I would recommend it to people 13 and over and give it a 100 out of 10.

I saw the hunger games and i absolutely LOVE it!! I couldn’t keep my eyes of the screen. My two favorite characters are Katniss and Peeta. I was on the edge of my seat for the whole time is was that exciting. I loved Peeta because he was strong throughout the hunger games and has a beautiful heart towards Katniss. This movie was Romantic but also scary. When i watched it i closed my eyes in one bit because it was a bit to scary for me. So i would recommend this movie to people that are 13 and over because of the scary scenes. Some of the scenes in the movie were so unexpected which was great because i always like a surprise and i hadn’t read the book and i didn’t know that much about the movie. This would be a great movie for someone that loves action and adventure. EVERYONE HAS TO WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!!!! I give it 10/10:)

I thought the hunger games bet harry potter by a mile because it was such a different movie to everything and its good to have something new after a while. This makes twilight look really bad because it looks so real compared to the whole vampire aspect. The film i would give it a 100/100 i can garente that you will fall in love with peter and you will love Cattiness. This movie is suspenseful, Romantic, Scary and AMAZING. I would recommend this for people over the age of 13 because their are a lot of frightening scenes in the movie.

I really liked this movie. I found it so interested, and although Its not real what they do, I found it scary. I don’t really have a favourite part of this movie as every part I enjoyed, but my least favourite part was the end because I think that they way It ended was bad. My favourite character were Katness and Peeta because they were both strong and courageous especially how Katness volunteered herself to save her sister. Theres no one that I relate to in this movie. If there was a part I could change in this movie It would definitely be the end but It might be for a reason for the 2nd movie if there is one. I would definitely recommend this movie for everyone to watch. It is quite scary and some parts are very sad but other then that It is a really good movie and keeps you interested the whole time.

The movie was great. I read the book before the movie though and the movie made a few changes to the book like when Madge gave Katniss the pin, and in the movie she got it from the hob, also so many awesome parts of the book were cut out of the movie, I was a little disappointed but all in all it was great, I loved it when the wolf jumped out of the trees, it gave me a shock! I loved the train the took Katniss and Peeta to the Capitol, it looked so futurisitic! All in all it was a really good movie 😀
