All The Bright Places is a great book if you want a little cry at the end of it. It’s really sad at the end but also relatable. Sometimes you just want to fall of the face of the earth but for some characters that got too much at a point of the book. I read it with my fried and we both never wanted it to end. It’s really great and the author did a good job.

All the Bright places is such an amazing read. It explores the world of mental health, which at times can be dark and scary, but then other times it can be more positive. I simply couldn’t bring myself to put it down. It was one of those novels where you laugh, cry, laugh and cry some more. The two characters, Theodore and Violet meet on-top of the bell tower. The story follows these two, and their relationship, where they both find their true selves. this book made me approach the world differently after reading it. I would give it a sold 9/10! I would probably recommend it no no one younger than 14, as it does contain some quite heavy themes.

Definitely one of my favorite books. I couldn’t put the book down because of all the cute romance it was filled with! Within the first chapter it had me gasping, crying and laughing and even some quotes were worth writing down. The storyline is about a boy and a girl who meet on top of the school bell tower. Through both of their struggles, they find hope in each other. Even though the ending is not what you expect, I wouldn’t change it for the world. After reading this book it changed me, it changed how I see the world in many ways. It inspired me to go on adventures! Rating this a 9/10 and would highly recomened to anyone.

This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster, but I really enjoyed. Usually I struggle to get through a book and it takes me a couple weeks to read, but I couldn’t put this book down. I loved getting to know both sides to each character and just what they were going through. I read the book through one weekend at a swimming competition (not a good idea), and I had to hold in my tears for the ending. It’s such a cute romance but also very full on.
10/10, would definitely recommend for young adults.

Personally, I think this book is overdramatised. The romance between the two main characters is like others, it has no chemistry. The writing of the book is brilliant, and it’s a fun book to read but the ending is said to be sad enough to make you cry. I guess because I didn’t emotionally invest myself into the characters it didn’t hurt as much as it does others when the book ended. I love the book, don’t get me wrong, but it is mediocre compared to what people say. I would still recommend this book to anyone and everyone and give it a good 9/10.

All the bright places- All the bright places is a magnificent book it is something to read if you are looking for something that will make you cry but smile at the same time. It’s a story about o young people that are both alive but not really alive but when they find each other and forced to work together on a project where they have to go around the state of Indiana and see and report wonders that they see this book also teaches you to appreciate the little things and the light in nothing. Content Warning this book has suicidal themes. My favorite character is Probably Theodore Finch because he is very complex.

This is still one of my favourite books to date. It explores the concept of mental illness and death in a beautiful yet dark way. The story follows the journey and relationship shared between Theodore Finch and Violet Markey. The dynamic of their relationship is so interesting because they are two very different people, yet they save each other and fall in love. This book offered me a new point of view on mental illness and grief through Violet grieving her sister’s death, and Finch’s mental health. This book also taught me about how important the relationships we share with others are and how we should cherish them. This book explores some adult themes, so it may not be appropriate for young readers, but it is certainly worth the read due to the important issues raised in it, and especially because of how it challenges the stigma surrounding mental health. Not only was this a truly beautiful book, I really learnt a lot of things from reading it that I believe you can only learn from a book like this. I rate this book a 10/10, and I would recommend this book for individuals over the age of 14.

This is my favourite book yet ! its AMAZING, this book has every emotion in it you could possibly imagine, This book is about a boy thats struggling with people picking on him and comes and goes when he feels like it he saves a girl thats very popular and just lost her older sister, They met on the edge of the school building, they help each over get through there ups and downs. They both met around there darkest point in life the both wanted to die but in a way they saved each over, The ending shocked me I Definitely recommend it to everyone that enjoys a good story. Im rating this book 10/10 !! I think I would recommened this book for 13 and above because theres some mature themes.

I didn’t read this book too long ago but I definitely recommend reading it. Violet finds herself stuck in a situation on top of the school bell tower and finds Theodore Finch, a young teenager who is also standing on top of the tower. After Finch helps Violet get down safely Theodore tries hard every day to see Violet but she isn’t keen on seeing him again until later in the book. When Violet finally decides to speak to Finch, their relationship begins but only does Violet really feel for Theo towards the end of the book. He suffers from wanting to kill himself and she suffers from her sister’s death. Each face challenges on their own and whilst together. The end of the book is an emotional rollercoaster and one person finds themselves in tears after an incident with water. This book took me on a wild ride leaving me with mixed emotions every time I finished a chapter. If you ever come across this book it is a book you must read. Not only does it start with a first line that gets you questioning but it also leaves you with a great ending and I wish there was a sequel.

I read this book over the holidays after randomly picking it off the selves and think ‘that’ll do’ but I’m really glad I am because frankly it’s just a great book. I really loved how with each chapter we got to see both of the characters persecutive on things. I loved how we got to know Finch and Violet and that we got a really deep understanding of their thoughts and feelings. This book is absolutely captivating and is sure to keep you on your toes. I highly recommend all the bright places to everyone.

WOW, this book was so incredible and yet so sad at the same time (tissues are a requirement). This book is about a boy who stops a girl from jumping off a bell tower at the beginning of the book. Throughout the book, both characters fall in love, whilst trying to fight their own inner demons. But, will one characters demons become too much for him? The ending had a shocking twist at the end and the book was incredible and beautiful to read. The quotes and the way the story was written, along with the plot, will stick with me forever and I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a sad romance. I rate this book 10/10.

All The Bright Places is a story written about two individuals who are brought together by death, which in the beginning sounds all dark and gloomy, except the personalities bloom and the relationship becomes something beautiful, as their adventurous worlds bring them closer together. I loved this book word, word. After reading the first page of this novel I hadn’t put it down once. Becoming to love both Theodore and Ultraviolet for their quirky but loveable relationship from beginning to end. In conclusion I rate this novel a 6/10.

‘All The Bright Places’ is a young adults teen novels written by Jennifer Niven. It begins with Theodore Finch attempting to jump from the school bell tower and end his life. Violet Markey is still coming to terms with the death of her sister. The novels follows their journey together, from meeting on top of the bell tower to falling head over heels for each other.
I don’t have a favourite character in this novel. Both Theodore and Violet are such complex characters and I loved their developments throughout the plot as they learn more about each other. I also enjoyed how the chapters are set out in dates (March 18, March 22, ect.) It gives the feelings that the story is real and not just a beautifully written fictional story.
Definitely recommend this novel for a mature, young adult audience. 9 out of 10.

I really love this book. I feel like it normalises mental illness and raises awareness to the importance of mental health. I love the dynamic relationships and how 2 people so different from each other can connect and fall in love. This book does have some adult themes and can be worrying but it is such a lovely and fulfilling book. It writes of such a serious topic in a really tender, real way. This book is one of my favourites and I would rate it a 10 out of 10. I would recommend it to the age 15 and above because of it’s heavy content.

Omg this book is a really good book. This book is about girl and a guy who meet on top of the school bell tower and they both have stories that have changed there life. Then they both try and help each other with the struggles that they are going through. I love this book and I would rate this a 10 out of 10 and I recommend this book to ages 14 and upwards.
