Soul surfer is a movie based on a true story about a girl Bethany Hamilton who was in a shark attack on Halloween day of 2003. Bethany was with her friend and his brothers and Bethany’s dad when a shark came and took her left arm. The movie shows how after her attack Bethany didn’t give up, she knew that God had plans for her and that surfing was always going to be that. She didn’t hate surfing, in fact, she saw what happened to her as a chance to share her faith and her story. This was a very inspiring movie as we see Bethany keep on pursuing her passion even through the hard times. I loved this movie as it was an inspiring story about a young girl. I would recommend this movie to anyone above the age of 10 as it can be frightening and scary at times. I rate this movie a 10/10 as it was a great movie to watch and learn more about Bethany’s story and what she has overcome.

this is such a great movie. it is about a girl, Bethany Hamilton, a great surfer who has a horrible accident. a lot of people including herself think she will never surf again, but through the help of her friends and family and her strong mindset, she is able to be an even better surfer than she was before. this movie is a very inspirational movie and I highly recommend it to the whole family. I rate this movie a 10/10

Bethany Hamilton is such an inspiration to me and she makes me realise that different is perfect, but she also makes me be so grateful for the little things in life. I love this movie and I have watched it many times. Bethany was on her way to becoming a well known surfer and on the morning of halloween it all changed, she lost her arm in a devastating shark attack. The part that makes this even more inspiring is that she still continued to surf in competitions and she won!!! This is based on a true story and I would rate this movie a 10/10 and I would recommend it to ages 10+

Soul Surfer is a great movie following the journey of elite surfer Bethany Hamilton. One of the upcoming surfers in Hawaii who was destined for glory. This movie is based off a true story of a girl who was out surfing and had her arm bitten off. In the movie we are shown the journey of how she got back to surfing at her elite level despite such a comeback as this. The journey follows as she builds up strength to push up on the board and working her way up from big boards to small boards. My favourite part of this movie is that she never gave up and always kept going even when she was struggling and wanted to give up. This is a great movie and is showcased to help other people overcome huge struggles which they may be facing. I would recommend this movie to everyone from 12 and up as there are some scenes which may be harder to watch or understand for young audiences.

It’s so inspiring how it’s based on a true story and all she went through and how she never gave up surfing. it’s a tragic story of how Bethany hamilton lost her arm when she was out surfing due to a shark attack. she’s such a brave young girl and that one day changed her whole life and it would never be the same.

The movie Soul Surfer is an amazing.
It’s a true inspiring story based on a girl called Bethany Hamilton, a pro surfer who loses an arm in a tragic shark attack just before a major series. But with pride in her surfing and heaps of determination, Bethany can do anything. We all think that surfing with two arms is tricky, and she wants to do it with one! Bethany loves surfing and strives to achieve her goal (getting back on her board and competing in a comp).
This is such a great movie and I totally recommend it for ages 12 plus, and rate it a 9/10

The movie soul surfer is one of my favourite movies and i would definitely recommend to anyone. it is a real great and inspiring movie for those who love to surf. I really enjoyed it because it taught me to never give up even when its hard, and that some people have it harder than you do. i would rate this movie an 8.5 out of 10, even though it is really good. this movie is emotion seeing the characters struggle with what they are going through but this movie is definitely worth the watch.

The movie soul surfer to me was actually very inspirational and made me appreciate the little things that actually mean a lot when they are gone. This movie is about a women who loves the ocean, surfing pretty much anything ocean related, and one day while she was on a surf with her best-friend and her other friends something that people dread happened. A shark. She was extremely strong with the unfortunate event that happened, but it took a while for her to accept the fact of what happened and to get use to having only one arm. This movie is perfect for teenagers and i rate it a 9/10.

Little does Bethany know just one surf in the ocean can change her entire life. This movie is an icon to all girls in all ages but mostly young teenagers or girls. Soul Surfer teachers us to never give up your dreams and in life most importantly. Not only is it an awesome movie but it’s also a book and based off true events. It is hard to believe and to think that someone had to put up with what happened like she did and then become known world wide! I definitely rate this a 10/10 and recommend it for viewers 10+ because there is a little bit of blood involved and some ‘scary’ scenes.

this movie was an amazing inspirational story about a dedicated surfer whose dreams and aspirations are going well until she is bitten by a shark in the water while practising surfing with her friend and this is meant to change her life forever but instead she gets back only three weeks after the incident and starts to surf again winning medals and trophies along the way for her bravery and dedication to surfing, this book was amazing and as a surfer myself this was very inspirational story.

If you are looking for a movie to inspire you, soul surfer just may be the one for you! Soul Surfer is a true story inspired by Bethany Hamilton as you go along her journey from living an amazing life in Hawaii with her best friend Alannah Blanchard surfing every day with a sponsorship with RipCurl until one day when they are out surfing Bethany gets into an accident. Bethany has to relearn some everyday life skills as basic as preparing her own breakfast. Viewers learn through Bethany’s story the importance of resilience and that if you genuinely love something, there is nothing stopping you from doing it. This is one of my all-time favourites and would definitely recommend to any ocean lovers or lovers of any sport for that matter to give you the determination to accomplish your dreams.

Soul Surfer is an inspiring true story that follows amazing surfer Bethany Hamilton. Bethany’s is a champion surfer, winning many surfing competitions until one day her arm gets bitten off by a Shark, and her whole life is changed. Though Bethany’s life has become extremely difficult, she refuses to give up and strives to learn new ways to adapt to surfing, as well as the world around her.
This movie is truly so inspiring and motivational. It really is an amazing example that you can do anything. My favourite scene/s were the ones where the one where Bethany goes to Thailand to help victims of a tsunami. Here, Bethany shows beautiful acts of kindness, through simple gestures that are extremely heart warming. I would recommend this film to anyone above the age of 12. This is because the scene where Bethany’s arm gets bitten off is quite gory. The shark is only shown for a few seconds, but there is a lot of blood. These things may scare a younger person. I would also recommend this film to anyone who wants a good heart warming, inspiring and beautiful watch.

I don’t cry in movies, I am honestly cold-hearted but this movie even made ME sob. I just can’t believe anyone would actually have to go through what Bethany did. I would rate it a 8/10 because it is heartwarming, inspiring but also really, really depressing! I think this would be a great life lesson and role-model for a young girl so anyone that is 7+ should definitely watch it. But it is a bit bloody so if you get grossed out by that stuff maybe don’t watch it, or skip through that part! You should definitely go and watch this inspiring movie.

I recommend watching this movie, because it is about never giving up and fighting for your dreams even when life get’s really hard. The movie is about a girl who loves surfing and wants to be a professional surfer. One day she has a surf with her best friend and there family and a terrible accident happens which makes Bethany only have one arm as she was in a shark attack and lost an arm. Soul Surfer is one of my all time favourite movies. I have rewatched this film more than you could imagine because it is that captivating and inspiring. Soul Surfer displays some great morals and themes whilst also being based on true events. This story follows the life of Bethany Hamilton, an upcoming surfer destined to be a star. However, she faces an unexpected life changing event. I don’t mean to spoil it but let’s just say a big surprise is in store. I loved this movie because of how even through the toughest times, Bethany still persists and follows her dreams. I would most definitely recommend this movie to anyone of all ages especially if you enjoy the ocean or you possibly dream of being a surfer like Bethany. 10 out of 10 WOULD recommend.

my favourite bit of the movie was when she helped the boy start to surf after the txumami because it showed compassion and kindness and i love seeing that in movies

I would 100% recommend watching this movie it is exiting nerve-racking and amazing

Soul surfer is a movie that is filled with tragic and doubt but is also filled with courage and empowerment and what makes it even more memorable is that it is a true story. The moral of this story is that you have to keep going, follow what you love against all defying odds. It is a moral that most people look up to but even so they get pushed back down and never get back up. Bethany Hamilton isn’t one of those people, she is a women who’s life got turned upside down. Wouldn’t you think losing one arm and just doing everyday things that might involve both arms would be challenging. Well she got back up and she even managed to become a professional surfer winning a national title in 2005!!!! It takes a lot of courage and I applaud her for that. It is such an inspiring movie and I haven’t managed to read her biography but I have heard that people absolutely love it because it inspires them, as does the movie. i recommend it to people who like to an inspiring story that could inspire them to…

The film Soul Surfer, is based on a true event, Soul Surfer is such an uplifting film, it tells the story of Bethany Hamilton and how when she went for a surf sadly became a victem shark attack. through the hardships and difficulty Bethany incounters makes her more eager and strong to achieve her dreams. I truly enjoyed Bethany and her companion as well. Her companion was so strong and got her through everything. I would rate this film a 7/10 and it to everybody ages 10+.

Soul Surfer is such an inspiring movie about a girl named Bethany whom unfortunately looses an arm due to a shark whilst out surfing with friends. This movie is so enjoyable to watch as we learn about the everyday struggles Bethany must adapt to whilst also deciding to learn surfing again. It’s so interesting to see how she needed to adapt with just only one arm and know how challenging it would have been for her. Bethany is such a likeable person in the movie and is always taking risks, is pretty, brave and doing her best.

Until one day, at the beach her life changes forever. This movie shows many different aspects of hope, dreams, and body image that is really good for young girls. After Bethany suffers from a life-changing event, her outlook on life changes for a while, as she only sees the negatives in life. But her friends and family are able to help her through her tough times, and help her achieve her dreams of a national title. This movie is based on the true story of Bethany Hamilton from Hawaii, and it follows her journey through her hectic life. I would reccomend this movie for kids that are 12+, just because the scenes about her accident can be quite distressing. I really loved this movie and would watch it again for sure!

Soul surfer is one of the most inspiring movies I have ever seen, and I know everyone says that, but it truly is. It shows the determination and passion a girl (Bethany) has for surfing after her arm was bitten of in a shark attack. Bethany is faced with so many obstacles before she is able to get back into the water and surf again. This obstacles she faces show how much passion and love she had for surfing. She was motivated and never gave up of her dream to be able to get back into the water and be able to surf like she once did. I rate this movie an easy 10/10 and recommend it for people over 10 only because it’s a bit full on but I think that everyone needs to at least see this movie once because it is such a moving and inspiring movie that will show you how fortunate and how grateful you are to have family and friends who love you unconditionally. Every part of it is meaningful and so incredibly inspiring.

I loved this movie, it got your heart racing but it kind of made you feel sad. When Bethany loses her arm in a shark attack all seems lost and like she won’t recover, but she keeps pushing through it and accomplishes great things. This movie inspires others, especially teenage girls to keep pushing too. It’s a movie that you can watch over again and rarely get sick of, a movie full of emotion and meaning seeing it is based on a true story. I rate it a 10/10 and definitely recommend anyone who has the chance to watch it.

This movie made my heart race. It was very enjoyable but I also felt for Bethany because not only did she loose her arm but it is really a true story. My favourite characters were Bethany for her mazing persistence and her best friend for not losing their friendship even though it was a tuff time. I cannot directly relate to these characters but I feel extremely sorry but also proud of what they were able to do with the situation. I very much recommend this to anyone who is in for a laugh, cry and a feel good movie. Good for any ages.

I loved this movie because Bethany Hamilton is such an inspiration to everyone, she shows that even without an arm you can still do the impossible, this movie is so motivating and amazing.
My favourite part of the movie was when Bethany figured out how to surf with one arm, I was so happy because she got very sad when she wasn’t able to surf, but once she figured it out she was so happy with herself.
My favourite character would be Bethany because she was so persistent even when she was in the hospital, she was very positive and she kept trying and didn’t want to give up without trying her hardest.
I would definitely recommend this movie to someone who loves the ocean and loves to surf, or someone who is looking for inspiration and doesn’t know how to accomplish the impossible. This movie would be for anybody any age or gender, just somebody who might love Bethany and want to see the story behind her life.

I thought this movie was great and really had some great entertaining content, including some emotional scenes. It really shows us how Bethany got back on board (no pun intended) with her life.I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and I rate it 8/10.

My favourite part of this movie is when she is recovering and getting back into surfing by practicing with her family. I enjoy the sense of teamwork, and the determination shown throughout the film. This makes us hopeful and happy when in the end she succeeds. I would rate this movie a 8 out of 10, due to all the memorable moments.

I loved Soul Surfer it was the best movie ever. It inspired me quite a lot to go for what you dream. Bethany Hamilton is a brilliant surfer. My Favourite part of the movie of the movie is the part is when she gets back in the water and I loved it. Bethany shows a lot of determination in this movie. I think it really tells you there is lots of challenges in your life, but you will always get through them. I would hands down rate this a 10/10!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed watching Bethany Hamilton’s inspirational movie ‘Soul Surfer.’ It’s about Bethany who is on her way to becoming a professional surfer when she gets attacked by a shark. She gets told that she can’t surf again, but surfing is her passion so with persistence, courage and bravery she is able to start surfing again. This movie is really sad at some times like when her career might have been ended but when she comes back from it makes you happy and fills you with hope that anything is possible and if you’re heart and mind is set on something you can do it. It also makes you feel so lucky and thankful that we have 4 healthy limbs that aren’t missing. I love this movie and would recommend it to anyone ages 9+ just due to the shark scene. I would rate this movie a 7/10.

If you are looking for motivation and an inspiring story you have found your movie. This movie is so moving and gives you such an appreciation for what you have. It’s about Bethany Hamilton’s life as a surfer after a horrific shark attack and her recovery. It is based on a real story and is so inspiring. It’s also really entertaining and impossible to stop watching. SO yeah it’s really sweet and such a beautiful story that I think most people will benefit from watching. I give it a 10/10 🙂

I love watching soul surfer. it is a really inspiring movie and i love how it is basted on a true story. My favourite character has got to be Bethany because she is strong, brave, pretty intelligent and she really inspires me to do the best of my ablates and to never give up. I’ve watched soul surfer so many times, its a movie you can watch over and over and it will still be exciting. its such an inspiring and amazing story. My favourite character would most definitely be Bethany, I think this because she is so determined and she always pushes herself no matter what. My favourite scene in soul surfer is the part towards the end when Bethany and some others travel to a less fortunate country to help because there was a tsunami. Bethany teaches a little boy to surf and brings the community back together. Over all I really loved this movie and I think its a great movie for anyone to watch.

the book and movie “soul surfer” s based on a young teenager “Bethany Hamilton” that absolutely adores surfing and being in the water. By her side, her best friend “Alana Blanchard” would do everything together!! One day the to were out in the reef surfing until Bethany’s arm gets bitten off by a massive tiger shark. After this tragedy all Bethany wanted to do was to go surfing again. It was very tricky at first, but with all of the support from her family and friends it can make a huge difference. I recommend it to your teens and adults, I loved it as it was so inspiring. 10/10!!!

Having been to this beautiful part of the world and seeing Bethany Hamilton in person gave me an even greater love for this movie. Through the incredible acting and amazing filming, the director has beautifully captured Bethany Hamilton’s inspiring story. She has the bravest and most courageous soul and being a surfer myself, I don’t think I could be as strong as her if I was in her situation. The movie is a MUST! It inspires me greatly and it reminds me to never give up. I highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a great movie and I know that it will make you smile as it did for me.

This movie is so touching and inspirational. It will show you the journey of a real story which makes the movie even better! It is about never giving up, fighting till the end no matter what happens. If you enjoy and love what you are doing, you will always find a way to solve the problem if you try hard enough. It is about challenge and persistence and this is why I think I love this movie so much. I would recommend this movie to anyone from 12 years old. It does have a part that may be a bit fighting when the shark comes and there is some blood but overall it is truly fantastic. I would rate it a 10/10!

I think that this is possibly the best movie I have ever seen. I think that the inspiration of this book really show other people how hard life can be but now matter what you have to carry on. I think that the actors really get into the spirit of the film and really started to understand what life would have been like. I think that my favorite parts in the movie was when she always showed courage and never gave up but always strive to be her best. She has changed mine and I’m sure most other people who watch this movies perspective on life and the simple things we take for granted, eg getting dressed. Soul Surfer is an amazing movie about bravery and how to bounce back from hard times. I think it gave me a new perspective on things and it made me realise how lucky I am to have all my limbs and be able to do the things I love. It played on my emotions and the main actress, Anna-Sophia Robb was really incredible being able to capture how it must of felt for Bethany. All round it was a great movie and it’s highly recommended by me.

Bethany and her friends go surfing in a new spot and they were just talking in the water when a shark appears and takes her arm, shes rushed to the hospital and the doctor tells her that she will never be able to surf again. Bethany is given a prosthetic arm, with lost and lots of practise and perseverance she is able to surf again, Bethany enters another important comp that shes been working towards for a long time … how will this end, in tragedy or triumph?

What an inspirational movie! ‘Soul Surfer’ is based on a true event, involving a world champion surfer, Bethany Hamilton. The story is about Bethany when she was 13, along with her best friend Alana by her side, and they go out surfing on halloween. Bethany was at risk of death when she was attacked by a tiger shark! She was taken to good care and luckily she survived with only the loss of one limb, her arm! Bethany wasn’t going to give up though on her strong passion for surfing. She showed persistence and got back onto her board after lots of brave attempts. She followed her dream and worked for it, even though she was stopped by terrible borders along the way. Bethany teaches others in this story that your dreams can be possible. She showed great determination and courage to continue on with her life and not let even a shark attack get in her way. ‘Soul Surfer’ is a beautiful story and suitable for girls 10+. I highly recommend this book and the movie and rate it 5 stars! Make sure to give it a go!

I LOVEDDD this movie, it was so inspirational and such a great story line. what made me love this movie even more is that it was a true story. Bethany hamilton is a great person, and i still beleive that she inspires many kids everyday. Yes this movie is still defiantly a hit. When watching this movie, it gives you the biggest adrenaline rush and makes you want to inspire people. Bethany hamilton is still one of my biggest inspirations. My favourite bit of the movie was when she was trying to win a comp, there were no waves coming, she got on her board with 1 arm, and paddled her hardest out far, She then caught this massive wave in and won the competition. This is a huge hit for families please watch it if you havent already.

I really love this movie, it is sad at moments but I really love it. ‘Soul Surfer’ is based on a real girl and her story, a surf-obsessed chic named Bethany who can never get enough of the salty waves until a tragic shark attack concludes in the loss of her arm. She faces the struggles of getting dressed and her dream of being a pro surfer. Acceptance and love for herself is hard and you get to be part of her whole journey all the way. I would recommend this movie for ages 10 and up as the shark scene may be disturbing to younger viewers, and my rating would be 7.5/10 because this is a memorable movie, has a emotional meaning behind it but doesn’t appeal to me as an entertainment purpose film.

This is an amazing movie that shows how strong friendship and family can be throughout hard times. If blood isn’t your thing i would recommend not watching this movie, but if you are in to the beach/surfing and learning even though you go though hard times you can still bounce back and keep trying. My favioite scene in the movie is when Bethany (the main character) goes over seas with a group of people to help them. I would rate this movie a 8/10.

I love this movie, it’s really sad but really good. It’s about Bethany Hamilton and her life her accident. My favourite part was when Bethany went to Thailand to go help the tsunami victims. I live this part of the movie because she was going though trouble herself but still wanted to help others, that shows her personalty. My favourite character is Bethany because she inspires me to do good things for others and focus on others instead of myself. I love this movie it’s so so good and very inspiring, I think everyone should watch this movie. I give it a 10/10.

I love this movie, I’ve watched it like 100 times – it’s so inspiring. This is about the life of a 15/16 (can’t remember) year old girl Bethany Hamilton. She loses her arm in a shark attack while surfing with some friends. She proves that anyone can overcome anything in their life, no matter how big it is. She is so brave and courageous. Surfing was her passion, she keeps persisting until she is able to surf again and she helped little kids in poor countries that were living in poverty and pain. I would recommend this to people of the age of 12 and older because it’s a quite full on movie, but awesome.

I recommend Soul Surfer to anyone and everyone, even if your not much of a surfing fan I still think that you are going to love this movie. It’s full of action, drama and tragedy but the main character, Bethany Hamilton, overcomes that tragedy and fights. She is bitten by a shark and loses her arm but she still doesn’t give up on following her dream and becoming a pro surfer. I would definitely rate this movie a 10/10 because is shows us that anything is possible even when things go wrong and to never give up and just follow your dreams. Where do I begin?
Soul Surfer is probably 1 of the best Movie I have ever watched and read. The book and movie are so great I don’t even know where to start. I’ll start with what the story is based on. The story is a true but very powerful story. The story is about a young girl (17-18) years old and likes surfing her and her friends family all go to a quiet beach and know one else is there, then all of a sudden Bethany gets attacked by a shark and there is a big rush to the hospital and questions if she will live?
I would highly recommended the book movie to anyone over 9 years old. – I only say 9 years because of the shark attack.

I highly recommend everyone to watch the movie Soul Surfer. It is a beautiful movie based on an amazing and truly inspirational true story. Bethany hamilton is not just a brilliant surfer but a brilliant women. Soul Surfer is the true story about Bethany Hamilton, a surfer who tragically lost her arm in a shark attack. But with only 1 arm and her life changed forever Bethany pushes forward with her life. With the help from her caring family Bethany doesn’t give up on her dream of becoming an international Pro surfer. Even though I am not a surfer myself I was deeply inspired by this film, and I would most certainly rate it a 10/10!

The Soul Surfer (movie) is definitely such an inspirational movie, based on a very true story. The movie is about a girl who has a passion to become a surfer. She battles through an unexpected shark attack and looses an arm. Her hope is lost and she faces serious doubt about her career from many people but she seeks the positives which helps her flourish and she achieves her dreams. This movie is inspiring because it shows both sides the positive and the negative and people are able to relate and make connections to there own problems and use her positivity and conclusions to help solve them. I found this movie extremely inspirational. My family and I found our selves watching it every night for a week when we first heard about and I would still happily sit down and watch with you no matter how many times I’ve seen it. Bethany Hamilton became my idol after this movie and I have no doubt it was the same for everybody else when they first saw it too. The movie is based on a true story and it shows you the story of how Bethany Hamilton had her arm bitten off from a shark and still strived and pursued to achieve her dreams. I love this movie so much. It is one of my favourites. I love surfing and that makes me love the movie even more. I love watching this movie with my cousins (boy and girl). It is a really intense drama but in the end everything works out fine. I think it is really amazing that it is based on a true story. The girl Bethany Hamilton is amazing inspiration to people all around the world. It is wonderful to see the message that this movie shows. It shows that half glass full aspect of life. i love the book and when i heard that there was a movie i was like i have to see it.
this movie is so inspiring to girls and boys every were i love the part when she gets all of the fan mail that just melts my heart.it got me thinking what would t be like with not having a left arm i am a left hander my self and i do every thing with my left hand i would feel like my life is over if that happened and 2 weeks after her accident she was up on here board again riding those waves like no one cares and now look at her she is married and as a little boy so i think her life terned out pretty good.
i give this movie 10 you of 10 and any one any age should see it.

I love the movie soul surfer because it is based on a true story. This movie was one of my favourite I have ever seen. I found it to be an extremely inspiring story and shows that you can adapt to anything that your thrown in life. It is the story of Bethany, a teen surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack. It shows how she overcomes all odds and obstacles in her way through courage and determination. However, along the way Bethany is forced to reconsider her ideas and future and discovers everyone has a greater purpose in life and she has to find hers. My favourite part of this movie is when she rediscovers her purpose in life and takes action to make this happen. I would recommend this book to every teen and I believe it is very relatable. We all face obstacles and challenges in life and we have to rise up to overcome these.

Viewers are able to follow the story of naturally talented Bethany Hamilton and her journey to success. Even when faced with the harshest of adversities, her passion, unconditional love from her parents and support network drives her to success.
I idolise the determination, commitment and motivation shown by Bethany. I give this movie a 10/10 and would highly recommend this it to teens and above.

She was motivated and never gave up of her dream to be able to get back into the water and be able to surf like she once did. I rate this movie an easy 10/10 and recommend it for people over 10 only because it’s a bit full on but I think that everyone needs to at least see this movie once because it is such a moving and inspiring movie that will show you how fortunate and how grateful you are to have family and friends who love you unconditionally.

He story begins with a successful surfing career which turned bad when she lost her arm to a ruthless shark. Bethany did not let her missing limb stop her from pursuing her dream of surfing and from that moment forward she set out to accomplish her life mission, to surf once again.
This film and Bethany’s story is that of a truly inspirational one filled with wonder, adventure and shows you that no matter what complications or struggles you are faced with, you can always follow your dreams and change the fate of your future.
I would recommend this film to any body over the age of 9 and for anybody who enjoys watching an inspirational film that teaches you valuable life lessons.

I recommend “Sole Surfer” the movie because it is based on a true story of Bethany Hamilton who is an inspiration. Her story begins when she was surfing one day and lost her arm in a shark attack. From that moment she has to follow her dream and learn how to surf again. It is an inspirational movie, and I love it because it teaches you the message of “when you come back from a loss and you never say never you find a true surfing champion.” Bethany Hamilton is a true surfing legend and this is an inspirational story full of wonder, adventure and teaches you to follow your dreams and never give up. Soul Surfer is an amazing movie about a 13 year old girl and her true story. She grew up in Hawaii and was home schooled by her mother, but her main focus at that point in her life was surfing. She grew up surfing and she was amazing at it, and she wasn’t at all prepared to stop, but one day she had to. It was a normal day and Bethany (the main character) was out surfing with her friend Alana and her brother and her dad, when she had a horrible accident. From then on Bethany then had to make about her life much differently, and it was very hard for her. The movie and book is amazing, and it helps to show you what little things that you take for granted make massive impacts on our lives, and you wouldn’t be the same without them. My favorite character was definitely Bethany because even though she struggled through some very tough times, she was able to stand up at the end of the day and she was ok. I would recommend this to anyone 12-13 and up who is looking for an emotional and a little bit scary, but happy storyline.

I first when i watched it i was a little scared of one scene but you just have to watch it personally it made me feel so lucky and, greatfull for what i have and, can do. I love Alana in this movie, she is such a great friend to Bethany and, wants her to do well in her surfing. She is very strong to help Bethany because it would be very hard for Alana to see her friend in such pain and, need. I think this movie would be great for any age over 11 and, that likes movies with emotion. ‘The thing that tops it off that this is a true story! I give this movie a 10/10!!!

Although this movie may scare people you just have to watch it as you just get this really good feeling about yourself. 🙂 My favourite character is Bethany’s dad as he is always there helping her along the way and encouraging her to get back up and try again. I recommend this movie to anyone over the age of 11 / 10. I think this movie has a lot of life lessons and it makes it even more special as it is actually based on a true story today. After the Shark attack that Bethany Faced she never gave up and always wanted to do what she loved. Even though she lost her arm she never gave up. It is a really inspiring movie because one it is a true story so you know it is true but mainly because we are always complaining that stuff is hard at school but Bethany is missing an arm, which makes things harder for her. I overall think this movie is great and recommend it to everyone! It is a fun movie and takes you on a journey along the way of the movie and as events happen. This movie changed my perspective on everything on this Earth. The character of Bethany Hamilton lost her arm in a horrific shark attack while she was surfing. The scene was so real I had to look away in some parts. Bethany is told she may never surf again but she defies everything anyone said. Her determined spirit drove her forward and she was surfing again in no time. Her courage and commitment astounded me and I absolutely loved her character. I would rate this movie 10/10!

I love this movie sooooo much! its so upsetting and depressing, and it really teaches you a lesson to be thankful for what you’ve got, not what you haven’t got. I first saw this movie when i was in year 2, and i suggest not watching it in year 2, because I could not stop crying when i went to bed, and also i was really scared of going back to the beach again!

I recommend the movie called soul surfer (which is also a book), which is about a true story about Bethany Hamilton and how she lost her arm to a shark whilst surfing. In the movie she lives in Hawaii, and has loved to surf since she was very young as her parents and older brothers have surfed their whole lives as well. In summary, her and her best friend, Alana, went surfing in a different spot for the first time. Unexpectedly, a shark comes out from under Bethany’s surfboard and takes her arm, and she is then rushed to hospital. She was very lucky to be alive and now has to try and live life with one arm. She finds it difficult to push herself up on the board whilst surfing, but with heaps of practice, she finds the courage and she tries to surf with one arm. She is my favourite character as she is so inspirational and sometimes I give up on things but she showed me that you should keep trying even when things look impossible. It was a really interesting movie and it is PG, which means that it is suitable with parental guidance, so the whole family can watch it. If you like inspiring, true stories, then this is a perfect movie for you. Great movie, and hopefully sometime I will read her book.

A really inspirational and uplifting movie!! Soul surfer is a fantastic movie which shows that even after facing extreme hardship and severe obstacles, success can be achieved. Bethany shows this through the constant support of her family, and she soon is able to get back in the water, learn to surf again and is able to commence competitive surfing once again after extensive training and hard work. The main message shown in the film is that anything can be achieved, as long as you want it bad enough and are willing to persevere and to be determined to achieve it, then it can be achieved. It only has to be possible. The story of Bethany’s life growing up in Hawaii and her unique but amazing way of life is also a major part of the film that makes it so enjoyable to watch.

I love the movie soul surfer It scares me a lot because I love to surf and sharks are my greatest fear. But this movie Is amazing so I couldn’t not watch it I love how brave she is going back into the ocean after a brutal shark attack form a 15ft+ tiger shark. Bethany Hamilton had a reason to keep her head held high and to keep fighting She loved surfing and she kept at it and jumped over some big hurdles to fulfil her dream to become a professional surfer. Good on her! I think this book and movie are suited to any kid who isn’t terribly afraid of sharks and above the age of around 7 I give this book 10/10 and I give the movie an 8/10!

This movie was really inspirational and it showed that you can really do anything if you don’t give up. I loved how Bethany was so determined to keep surfing and win the tournament even though she only had one arm.Soul surfer is a really emotional movie that people can really use as inspiration. It is based on a true story which makes it even more heart wrenching. I felt like I knew the character Bethany by the end of the film because of how well they had directed it. The story line is a very emotional roler coaster ride but i felt like it has taught me about courage and persistence. Soul Surfer was a fabulous film, it was fun, frightening and beautiful. Its was based on a true story about a girl called Bethany Hamilton who was attacked by a shark when she was surfing when she was 13 years old. I loved the part where she has arrived home and she finds it difficult to to any of those little things like doing your hair, cutting up veggies and getting bread out. I thought it terrible and imagined how hard it would be for someone to try surf again after being attacked by a shark and losing one arm. I was inspired by how she persisted and was so strong during her tuff times. I am going to rate the Movie Soul Surfer 9/10!!!! I would defiantly recommend this film I loved it and I think it will inspire may other girls to there to persist and never give up.

I highly recommend this movie called soul surfer (also a book), a true story about Bethany Hamilton and the devastating accident as she lost her arm whilst surfing. Bethany is a girl who had a passion for surfing. She lived in Hawaii, and would always go surfing off exquisite reefs and white beaches. One day Bethany and her best friend went surfing in what they thought would be an experience of a lifetime, but it turned out in a different situation, after Bethany almost dies after a shark take her arm. She was rushed to the hospital where she was treated for the incident. From there on she now has to try and live a life with one arm. This movie is an inspirational story about never giving up. This has given me moderation, and shows that with practice we can achieve anything.

This movie is one of my favourite movies of all time! I love everything to do with Hawaii and surfing, and this movie is all that and more! It tells an incredible story about an inspirational young women, who defies all the odds to do what she loves. My favourite part of the movie is when she begins surfing again and how determined she is to surf as well as she used to. I love this movie I definitely recommend this movie to girls from the age of 12 – 16. Only because there is a little bit that it gross and a little scary. But this movie is great apart from that little scene. This movie is based on a true story about a surfer named Bethany Hamilton who competes in competitions and when she is out at a beach in the middle of no where with her friends something terrible happens. I think that the actors really get into the spirit of the film and really started to understand what life would have been like. I think that my favorite parts in the movie was when she always showed courage and never gave up but always strive to be her best. I would rate this movie 10 out of 10 and recommend it to any one who loves a great inspiring movie.

I loved the movie ‘SOUL SURFER’! It is a really inspirational non-fiction book & movie because it’s about a girl (Bethany Hamilton) who was surfing in Hawaii and a shark attacked her and took her whole left arm off! She had to get rushed to hospital and she lost 60% of her blood!!!!!!! It was a very sad story and she is a very lucky girl to be alive.

The movie Soul Surfer is an amazing, true inspiring story based on a girl called Bethany Hamilton. Bethany is a pro surfer who loses an arm in a tragic shark attack. But with pride in her surfing and heaps of determination bethany can do anything. We all think that surfing with two arms is tricky, and she wants to do it with one! Bethany loves surfing and strives to achieve her goal: to get back on her board and compete in a comp. This is such a great movie and I totally reccomend it!!!

Soul Surfing is an incredibly inspiring movie that condemns you to see that anything is possible. This movie is based on a true story, about 13 year old Bethany Hamilton, a budding professional surfer, who looses her arm in a tragic shark accident. The movie is all about determination, strength and adversity as Bethany tries to adapt at the new challenge she has been given. But success isn’t easy for Bethany. Surfing with two arms is tricky enough and soon Bethany looses all her confidence and vows that she is never surfing again. After a word changing experience helping in Thailand after the tsunami, Bethany begins to realise how much she loves the ocean and how much it means to her. Her determination is astounding as you watch her battle her disability to own the waves once again. I would rate this amazing true story 10/10 🙂

Soul Surfer is an absolutely inspiring movie that anyone who needs a push should definitely get out and give a go. This movie is based on the horrible event in which Bethany Hamilton an upcoming surfer is bitten by a shark out in the water. She looses one of her arms and a lots of her confidence believing she is no good. She gets really down in the dumps and says she will never surf again and that she isn’t any good. Bethany’s story shows however that with a bit of determination miracles can happen. She starts to believe in herself and works at it until she can surf again. Even without one arm she pushes herself to get better and back to where she was. Although it is initially sad this is such a feel good movie and you will feel such a boost from watching it. Even better, the whole story is true and Bethany really did all of this so after you watch the movie you can go and check out this amazing girl. I recommend this to everyone because everyone should know this amazing story. I give it a 10/10 🙂

Soul surfer is the best true story you could ever see. This movie was an inspiration to me. This movie had me in tears at the end I loved it that much. IN the movie Bethany Hamilton was an amazing surfer until one day when she was surfing with her friends she got her arm bitten of by a shark. Ever since then she couldn’t surf as well as she did. So her father made her a handle on a surf board for her to hold on to when she went under, and from that Bethany could keep surfing for the rest of her life. I would recommend this book to everyone who loves determination and love. I rate it a 10/10

This movie makes me more determined to try harder in things and to not give up on my self. It also makes me realise how lucky we all are. My favourite part of the movie would have to be when after the terrible shark attack when she finally has the courage to catch a wave and stay on the board. Bethany Hamilton is a hero to many people for her courageous motivation and will be forever. I would defiantly rate this movie a 10/10 and recommend it to anyone!

This movie is so great, it really is a sad movie with a feel good ending, and as it quotes-she is a miracle, after experiencing the loss of her arm after a violet shark attack, Bethany Hamilton had only one thing on her mind. To be able to return to the waves and become able to compete with the able bodied surfers. I love this movie and highly recommend it. It is incredible to see what a die hard surfer would do to get back in the water. She is my hero and I look up to her. I would rate this amazing movie 7.8/10. Go watch the amazing Bethany Hamliton get back on her board and cut p the waves in Soul surfer!

Soul surfer is a really emotional movie that people can really use as inspiration. It is based on a true story which makes it even more heart wrenching. I felt like I knew the character Bethany by the end of the film because of how well they had directed it. The story line is a very emotional roler coaster ride but i felt like it has taught me about courage and persistence. I think that this is a very inspirational movie and it can really teach a lot of people about themselves. We are shown the bravery a young girls had to face and the persistence she had to get to where she is today. The fact that this based on a real life event makes the movie even more relatable and shocking. I think that the actors did really well acting out the characters that they were given. I would rate this movie a 9/10 and recommend it for anyone 11 and over.

Soul Surfer is a very inspirational movie. I love the story of this movie and how it is based on a true story. I find that it teaches you a lot about over coming fears and resilience. It also gives you a sense of gratefulness of having what we have because throughout the movie you can see that life without a limb is hard. This movie made me more determined never give up. The movie Soul Surfer is great for people who enjoy surfing but is also a great movie for those who don’t really. Its very emotional and dramatic but you learn a very important thing. The main charter Bethany is a very strong willed and brave person and even though through it she loses an arm she still gets back up and keeps doing what she love surfing.This is based on a true story and you will surely be inspired. My friend was telling me about the movie Soul Surfer and how at church they were mentioning the movie. I told her I’ve never seen it and she was the person who recommended it to me first and now I’m recommending it to you. This movie is one of the most inspirational movie I’ve ever seen and it makes you strive to become a better person. Bethany Hamilton the main character in the movie loses an arm by a shark whilst she was surfing with her friend Alana. I could go on and on about how courageous and brave Bethany is but once you watch the movie you’ll know. This movie is based on a true story and it’s very emotional. I rate the movie 10/10 because they have got the message through millions of people who have seen Soul Surfer, I absolutely love this movie.

Soul surfer was ok, it wasn’t the best move of the century but it wasn’t the worst either, I think it just wasn’t my style, i do like the true story part but the actual Bethany Hamilton doesn’t play in it. My favourite part was when she caught the big wave at the competition, but my least favourite part was all the competitions before that because you knew she was going to win and it got extremely boring. My favourite character is the dad because he urges Bethany to keep going with just one arm. I would recommend this book to all those surfers.

This movie is heart warming and so so inspirational ! It is a true story about a girl named Bethany Hamilton, who lost her arm to a shark whilst surfing. She is so courageous, brave and persistent. These qualities are shown when she doesn’t let having only one arm hold her back in any way. She believes that she can do anything with one arm that she could with two. Her family are so supportive and encourage too. Her brothers are there to help here anytime, her mum is too and her dad is especially supportive, and this is shown when he creates a custom made surf board that she can use. But what is most inspirational is that even after being attacked by a shark, she is still brave enough to get back in the water and keep surfing! I would definitely give this movie a 10/10 and recommend it to anyone maybe 5 or 6 +.

When i first saw this movie i wanted to be bethany hamilton because she’s beautiful has a gorgeous personality she loves to surf and just lives everyday like it’s he last which is really inspirational to me. It showed me how to be brave have courage and to never give up always believe in yourself and it will be as if nothing band or nothing changed! this movie would really brighten up your day for sure and to think how lucky you are i would recommend this movie for EVERYONE i love this movie so much so go watch it now please i would rate this movie a 11/10 for sure.

I absolutely adore Bethany Hamilton, I’ve read the soul surfer book and watched the movie. In every scenario, I’ve never read a book then thought the movie was better this situation applies here also. I love the book, read it so many times, Bethany Hamilton is one of my idols, she is the protagonist of this non-fiction novel. I would have liked the movie more if they had used Bethany Hamilton to have played herself, but that actor who played her did very well. Soul Surfer is one of those movies that teaches you to be grateful of the state you are in and not take everything for granted. It taught me courage, responsibility and to never give up. This is a great movie and book and I would definitely recommend.

This movie is the most inspiring movie ever, for someone who lost her arm in a very painfully way and courageously overcame all the hurdles become a champion again, her determination, and her religious background helped her through the tuff times and get her back in the water. Bethany (played by AnnaSophia Robb) was born to surf. A natural talent tat shone through even more when she came back from her recovery and compete in a compition with her best friend Alana Blanchard (Lorraine Nicholson). It is sad to think such a tragic thing happened to such a champion and had her goals set high although she had lost her arm just trying to come to the facts that she will have no arm for the rest of her life but to actually get back in the water and try to surf again proves the fact that she is an even more of an heroin my eyes that she can still get in the water knowing that is likely to happen again. Bethany Hamilton is an amazing role modal and it proves it even more in the movie. It is a great movie and is heartwhelming to everyone that watches it. In my opinion I would give this movie a 9/10.

Through all the struggles of healing from the attack and trying to deal with her new life bethany keeps oing strong and does the best she can. This is something i really admire as it is a true story. This movie is great it shows determination, courage, power and love. This movie really shows how hard it is but no matter what she keeps going until she achieves her goal of surfing again. I would recomend everyone to watch this movie gives you a real warm fuzzy feeling at the end and it makes you want to keep going and achieve things no matter how hard it might be. The movie Soul Surfer is such a great story! I really enjoyed it as it is a real story about a famous surfer Bethany Hamilton. The story is about her love for surfing until one day her arm is bitten off by a shark doing what she loved, which is surfing. The story is about how practising, and with motivation and determination, Bethany is able to surf with one arm and becomes a world champion. I really enjoyed watching soul surfer for the first time at my best friends house. I was a little bit scared when they she told me that it shows Bethany Hamiltons arm getting bitten off by a shark, I wasn’t so sure I still wanted to watch it. But I did, it wasn’t even that bad (you cant really see it, I think she was just trying to scare me). I liked the movie, it was really good. I would recommend it for people around 9+ only because they might get a little disgusted at parts. I think that it is a really well organised and clear movie unlike some and that it is really entertaining. Overall I would rate this movie a 8.5/10.

Soul Surfer is an inspiring and outstanding movie which is the reason I love to surf now. Bethany Hamilton, a famous surfer, is obsessed with surfing and the water. Until one day, a shark comes from the water and bites her arm off. She is rushed to hospital and is lucky to survive. Despite her having only one arm, she still wants to live her surfing dream. So determined to continue surfing, bethany learns how to surf with one arm. With practise, motivation and determination, Bethany learns so surf with one arm and becomes a worldwide champion. I cried watching this movie and would rate it a 9/10. It is amazing and I would definitely recommend it to people 11yrs+ 🙂

I really love this movie!!! It’s such an inspirational story about a girl who is so passionate about surfing and then she gets bitten by a shark, so she ends up having no arm. But once she recovers, she decides to keep trying for the surfing competition. It’s such a sad yet beautiful story, watching the ups and downs of a young girl. I recommend this movie to anyone looking for an inspirational, but also a bit of a tear jerker. This would be a good movie for anyone above 8. I rate this 8/10.

I love this movie and I think it’s the best. I am passionate about surfing with makes me watch this movie over and over again. I love how Bethany finds her hope to surf again and she makes a very good role model. Bethany sticks to her guns and doesn’t give up. Through out Bethany’s journey she has many friends and family members who support her through out this rough time. I believe that this movie is good for the 12+ and for anyone who is keen to watch this fantastic movie and stick beside Bethany as she tells the story of her life! 10/10

My least favourite scene is when she Bethany goes surfing with her best friend Alana but didn’t know that that surf could possible be the last. She gets her arm eaten by a vicious shark and how Alana’s dad, brother and her are helping Bethany and getting her to shore quickly. This movie is about how she overcomes just having one arm and gets back on her surf board and becomes a greater surfer than she ever was. This is my ABSOLUTE favourite movie in the world world and i could watch it over and over again.

I absolutely love the movie Soul Surfer! It is one of my favourite movies because it is so inspiring and it really makes you think about your life and how grateful you should be for what you have because it can all change in a second. I don’t have a favourite part because I really love the whole movie, I really like when she goes to Phuket though and she plays in the water with the little kid because it is really cute. My favourite character is Bethany because she really tried her hardest to be positive after the attack, and I think the fact she stayed so strong and learnt to surf again was truly amazing and inspiring. Because it’s a true story just really makes even more of an impact and I think everyone could learn something from this movie. I would definitely recommend this movie to others and I would give it a 10/10, I can always watch it when I have nothing to do because I love it so much! Fantastic movie!

Soul surfer, probably one of the most inspiring stories you will ever come across. I think the message this film brings out is aimed at everyone, no matter what life throws at you, and no matter how hard things seem, you have to at least try. I absolutely love this inspirational movie so much I think I have seen it about 100 times it’s so good. I love the different emotions and tensions throughout the whole movie. My favourite character would definitely have to be Bethany all the way. She is so inspiring and she actually has inspired me to surf. I already have 2 surfboard and my own wetsuit. She is just so inspiring!! My favourite scene was when she got up on her first wave after the accident because it’s so emotional, she was so excited. I recommend this to 12+ and rate it 10/10

“Soul Surfer” would probably be in my list of top 10 movies if I had a list. My whole family loves it and we’re dying to see it again. My brother’s favourite scene is when she gets her arm bitten off by the shark of course. My mum’s favourite bit is when she’s helping the children stand up on the surfboards after a big tsunami hit their city, and mine and my dad’s favourite part is when she’s learning to surf with one arm. This is my favourite scene because it shows how perseverance and hard work can help you to succeed no matter how hard it is. “Soul Surfer” is a great family movie and I hope that everyone can watch it at least once!

I love to watch this movie if I am ever doubting myself or I need inspiration. My favourite character was Bethany. Soul Surfer is a fantastic movie about when Bethany Hamilton (in her teen years) is becoming a sponsored surfer and loving life but when a shark bites off her arm she has to re learn surfing and how to deal with life. The scariest part was when the shark bites her because the show a spooky angle underneath her. It is an inspiring movie to get back up and try again. I would recommend it to surfers and to people who always doubt themselves. I would give this movie and book 9/10 because it is based on a true story and has an amazing storyline.

Soul surfer is a great movie with a lot of inspiration, it brings tears to peoples eyes but inspiration to them because Bethany Hamilton lost one of her arms due to a shark that bit it off but was very determined to continue on surfing. She did have her ups and down moment but she was persistent continue. She showed a lot of courage when she wanted to get back into the water and start surfing again, a lot of people would have been put off going back into the ocean. Soul Surfer is a movie that shows you if you believe in yourself you can succeed, there will be some bad moments but there will be lots of good ones. A lot of people give up straight away if it’s getting to difficult but Bethany doesn’t she was very determined to get to where she is today. The shark attack can be quite frightening but we have to think about that this was a true story and it did really happen to somebody who when out for a surf with some friends. I would recommend this movie/book to all ages and I give it a 9/10 because she is a great inspiration and role model.

I love the movie soul surfer. It is such an inspirational true story about a girl Bethany Hamilton and her best friend Alana Blanchard who are both pro surfers. Bethany was attacked by a shark when she was out in the water with Alana on her surfboard and was rushed to hospital. The part the inspired me the most was that even though she had her arm bitten off by a shark she still had the passion to surf so she tried her hardest to make it to the top with her surfing and she got there. I would recommend this movie for all ages and give it a 10 out of 10 because she is such a great role model for everyone.

It was breathtaking seeing Bethany and her arm get bitten off in a shark attack. It was so sad seeing when she was so depressed that she can’t surf anymore until Bethany goes to Thailand and see’s all the people that she can help. she meeting a little girl and pushes her on the surfboard trying to teach her to surf and then she relises she can do anything! Bethany is my ideal because she never gives up and then she teaches herself how to surf agin! It is heart pumping when she catches that wave but the judges don’t count it but i am glad she doesn’t care because she knows how to surf!

I really enjoyed the movie soul surfer. It stole my heart and shows me the determination and courage she has. While watching the movie I had to keep on reminding my self that this was a true story. It was amazing how even though Bethany was in a terrible state and no matter how much she had lost she still felt bad for the people in worse conditions. It was a breathtaking and inspiring story and I could watch the movie over and over again and never get sick of it. Soul surfer for me is a very inspirational movie about a surfer called Bethany Hamilton, she has a horribly and terrify shark attack and gets her arm ripped off. But she doesn’t give up her love for surfing and continues to stay strong. She is now an inspiration for every suffer and non-surfer to nerved give up on what you believe in. Alana is very supportive in the hard times with Bethany. She was always there for her when she needed a hand to help. This is a great movie to watch with friends at a sleepover. But one day when Bethany went out for a surf with Alana, her brother and her dad a massive shark appeared out of know where and took a bit of Bethany’s arm and board which left her scared for life with only one arm and she lost over 50% of her blood! My favourite character is Bethany’s mum and dad because they were very supportive when the had the attack and when she was trying to get back into her normal life. Soul Surfer is an amazing movie. It’s so inspirational to watch and makes you feel like you can do anything. It’s a real-life story of a girl called Bethany Hamilton. The character is played by Anna-Sophia Robb, who I love and she plays the role really well. Hamilton is a young but very promising surfer. She begins to get known around the place as someone who will go far. One day something terrible happens. When she is out surfing, she is attacked by a shark. Hamilton’s rushed to hospital. She lost her left arm to the shark and is lucky she survived. This incident crushes her. She was to adapt to her new life, and to learning to surf with one arm. But she’s brave enough, skilled enough and determined enough to do it. In the end she wins her comp and beats the bad girl. It shows what hard work can do.
This can be a feel-good movie in a lot of places and has a good soundtrack but at other times it’s really sad and emotional. I rate it 8/10 and recommend it to people aged 11+ because some scenes can be a bit scary.

Soul Surfer is an amazing movie and so inspirational. While watching this movieI had to keep reminding myself that this was a true story. I loved how that no matter how much she had lost she still felt bad for the people in worse conditions. It was breathtaking seeing Bethany win the surf competition by her own standard. She may not of won the giant trophy, buttoned the little trophy she got. For coming 5th was giant as well. What I’m taking away from this story is that anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it. Watching this movie will change the lives of children around the world because of the bravery that Bethany shows. The actress was amazing and did a very good job of being Bethany Hamilton.

Soul surfer was a very inspiring movie!, before seeing this movie I didn’t really know who Bethany Hamilton was. I really just thought she was a surfer who had lost her arm but I didn’t really read more about her story until I saw this movie. I found it so courageous that even though she had lost her whole arm and was possibly traumatised by that experience when she went surfing she still had the guts to get back on her board after the attack and learn to surf again but with 1 arm!. I recommend this movie to anyone ages 10+ because it can be hard to understand the storyline at times. 8/10 🙂

Omg! soul surfer is actually the best best movie ever! no joke! I really liked the part when they shared the cup and it was really intense at the shark scene but it was so so good even though you were hoping for the best! I have watched this movie twice and I reckon it will never get old! I would defiantly recommend it to everyone at all ages even boys but its defiantly a girl movie! I rate it a 10/10 for me because it really says that no matter what you can always find a way, even when times get tough you can make it through!!!!

Soul surfer is a truly motivational movie about a surfer called Bethany, and one day her arm gets bitten off by a shark. As hard as it, to be able to surf again, she does it, she persists and is able to be become the person she once was. It really motivated me, and it just shows how we need to be more grateful for things each and every day, because one day you might have something, and the next day you might not. OMG I LOVE THIS MOVIE! This movie is about a young surfer who lost her arm due to a shark attack. I think that this movie is important because it teaches you to be grateful for what you have and to accept who you are as a human being. I love this movie because it was really dramatic and was teaching me to live life to the fullest and to accept whatever has been thrown at you. This girl shows so much persistance although she has a missing arm! I recommend this movie for people who enjoy drama and surf movies and for people who are 10+ years of age. I rate this movie 8

I recommend soul surfer it is such a great movie it really is it teaches life skills and it is about a young teenager that makes a mistake and has to deal with the rather harsh circumstances and she has to learn about herself and accept herself for who she is! This movie teaches us to life up life to its fullest and accept yourself for you and whatever life throughs at you, you can pass it with persistence and these adversities will only make you a stronger women. This girl shows us all that even though she has a certain part of her body missing she keeps trying to live her life just as it was before and continue to make herself a stronger and bigger person. I rate this movie a 10/10 the girl is this movie is such a role model to the younger disadvantaged children. I also recommend this book to the ages 12+ i recommend you watch this movie i promise you, that you won’t regret it!

This is an awesome movie. It is all about how you can have set backs in your life but if you work hard you can overcome these problems and come out on top. The movie is based on a true story about Bethany Hamilton a surfer who was bitten by a Shark. She lost her arm up to her shoulder and the story is all about how she gets back into surfing and overcomes the problem. The story is such an inspiration and it makes you realise that in life if you work really hard you can achieve your dreams and overcome the problems you face. The movie makes you realise just how lucky you are and helps you to never take a day for granted. The movie is a must watch and I love it so much. I recommend it for people 11-16 but people any age would still love it.

“Soul Surfer” was a amazing,inspiring,nail biting,sad, movie for me because of the loss of Bethany’s arm. My least favourite part of the movie was when they told the viewers that the story of “Soul Surfer” was a true story.I absolutely loved this movie because it was so inspiring the way that she got back onto her board after she got attacked. I surf as-well so the shark bit in the movie made me even extra cautious. Bethany was my favourite person in the movie because she doesn’t give up no matter what!!! There is nothing to change in “Soul Surfer” because its a brilliant movie.I recommend this movie 10/10 and maybe for the ages of 11 and up because some scenes may scare young children.

Soul Surfer was such an inspirational film that pulled on the heart strings. As I watched this movie based on Bethany Hamilton who is a pro surfer who was involved in a tragic and horrific shark attack changing her life forever. This movie taught me to be grateful for everything I have and to follow my dreams. I am in love with surfing. I surf and I look up to surfers who devote there lives to following there dreams and believing in there passions, dreams and hopes. This movie changed my perspective. That wave pushed her down, but she picked her self up and found a new and improved wave. Life is a wave, there are ups, downs and average days, but always in the end it is up to you and you are all that can improve your life. There is no telling you what is to come but you have to live your life and don’t take that for advantage because as did Bethany she lost it all but was still determined to live her life and push through the pain. As I said before, I believe this film is so inspirational and has taught me a life lesson. I look up to people like this, they are the ones in life who deserve to live a wonderful life with no pain, but you can not have everything you want. That wave is just around the corner and it won’t stop unless you let it.

This movie is such an inspirational film. It tells the story of Bethany Hamilton, now a Pro Surfer and how she tragically was involved in a shark attack while surfing. It just shows that through the qualities that Bethany shows that by experiencing hardships and adversity makes you more hungry and resilient, in order to achieve your goals. My favourite quote from this movie is ” “I’ve learned life is a lot like surfing. When you get caught in the impact zone, you need to get right back up, because you never know what’s over the next wave……and if you have faith, anything is possible, anything at all.”

Soul Surfer is one of my favourite movies ever! My favourite part was probably when Bethany thinks she can never surf again, but then she goes out into the water and she manages to stand up. I thought this was such an amazing movie. It is so inspiring and I love how she never gives up. I felt so sorry for her at times when she felt like giving up, but I loved how in the end she decides to keep going until she can surf again. I have watched this movie so many times that I have lost count and I haven’t got bored at all. There wasn’t any part of this movie that I didn’t like. I would definitely recommend it. Probably to ages 10+. It is such an inspiring, happy and great movie!

This was by far one of the best Harry Potter books. It wasn’t my favourite but it was definitely one of the best. I found it was a very interesting book and I felt like I was in the book at times. I love how the author puts you in the characters shoes. I felt so sorry for Harry, but I couldn’t stop reading. I got so into the book and I never wanted to put it down. I did find the start of the book was a bit boring though. I found that it wasn’t as interesting at the start. However as you keep reading it just keeps getting better and better. I loved this book so much and I have read it so many times. I would definitely recommend it to others.

I just finished watching Soul Surfer again and wow do i recommend it after watching it again this movie witch is based on a true story of Bethany Hamilton is really inspiring it really just makes you realize no matter how bad you think things are you can push through my favorite part in the movie is probably that last wave Bethany caught as it just showed the light at the end of her journey and was an amazing ride it may of not counted to the judges but as she said it counted to her so I do recommend this movie if your into surfing, love the beach and love a good touching true story.

I really enjoyed the movie soul surfer. It really inspired me to believe in myself and try my best no matter what. My favourite part of the movie was when Bethany competed in the surfing championship because she showed everyone no matter what disadvantages she had, she did what she loved! Bethany was my favourite character in the movie because of the way she inspired me and so much other girls. I really disliked the moment when she got her arm bitten off because it was really scary and disturbing 🙂 . I really recommend you go watch this movie no matter what type of person you are.

I really really love the movie Soul Surfer. I had never seen it until recently and I just fell in love with it. My favourite character is definitely the main character, I think in real life is so inspirational to be able to persistent to keep surfing after the accident. I also love the actress who played her, and I think she played her really well and conveyed the emotion really well. I think this movie is so inspirational and interesting because it is a true story and I think it is really amazing. I would recommend this for all ages and I rate it a 10/10. This movie will always lift you up when you watch it and I just think it is an outstanding movie.

Sould surfer is baced on a true story about a teenage surfer Bethany Hamilton who overcomes the odds, and her own fears of returning to the water after losing her left arm in a shark attack. Her determination and skill all pays off once she puts her skills to the test in the local surfing competition. She notices she can surf although not at the best of her ability, so with her fathers help she is able to chnage her board just to suit her needs and surprisingly Bethany is able to strike back and show everyone how amazing she really is as a person. Deffinately one of my favourite movies, 9/10 ages 9+.

A great story. It is about Bethany Hamilton a great surfer. One day when surfing lost a arm from getting bitten off by a shark. This did not stop Bethany in any way she was determined to surf again and she never gave up. With practise she improved and was able to stand up. It is amazing to see that she had a dream and nothing was going to stop her from achieving it. I recommend this to someone between the age of 11 to 40.

I defiantly recommend Soul Surfer, it is truly an amazing story and it shows that you can’t give up your dream because something has happened to you, you need to fight for it and that’s exactly what Bethany Hamilton did, Bethany didn’t give up because she didn’t want to throw away her whole life’s work. Although she only had one arm, was a pro surfer and everyone would have been staring at her she surfed. One day it was amazing and she stood up for the first time since the accident. I would recommend this movie to all ages between 8 to 80, it is filled with comedy, drama and sadness! It is one of the most inspirational movies I have ever seen!

Soul surfer is such a good movie, I love the way it’s nail bitting and exiting at the same time. She is so inspiring loosing her arm to a tiger shark whilst never giving up her dream to become a pro surfer. She goes to Thailand after a tragic tsunami and she teaches the young frightened kids to confront their fears and go out into the ocean again. She inspired me to start surfing and thats why i love the film so much, she shows how even when the biggest problems evolve theres always away to still follow your dreams. I rate this amazing movie 100/100 partly because it’s a true story but mostly because it’s SO inspiring.

OMG where do i start. Soul Surfer is such an inspirational movie with so much growth from the main character Bethany. It is such a great movie to watch with friends and even by yourself. This movie has taught me a lot, to never give up on your dreams. She just couldn’t see how she would ever be able to surf again. I recomend this book from ages 8 and over because any younger would not understand what is happening and see how determend she is to surf again and win. i rate this movie 10/10 it was absolutely amazing.

After reading the book I was eager to see the movie but I had doubts whether it was going to be as good as the book and capture the same emotion but I wasn’t disappointed the movie is one to be seen, it shows a true insight on her life and how she overcomes her fears of going back into the water again after the attack. This movie along with the book is truly inspiring and teaches you to face your fears and never give up and bounce back from set backs. My favourite character in the movie besides Bethany is Alana her best friend because she is always thinking what is best for her and always looks out for her and is there to protect her and this movie also shows how she bounces back from the incident because it was quite traumatic on her a swell as Bethany. My favourite part in the movie is when she helps all the poor people that are so less fortunate than she is and is shows her that, yes she doesn’t have two arms anymore but she could be a lot less fortunate than she is and she passes her message on to many other people and touches their hearts.

The Movie Soul Surfer is an inspiring movie for people who need to get back on there feet and get back into the world it is also a great movie for people who have one arm or leg or anything, The movie inspires you to help people less fortunate than you or us or helps you to get back out there and surf or learn how to surf. Bethany is a great role model for girls. When Bethany is in the shark attack it was very stressful and my heart was beating so fast I could hear it because I just wanted to know if she was alive or did the shark take her under. Then I thought that Alana Blanchard’s dad was a very good role model by taking her in and wrapping the rash vest around Bethany’s arm/shoulder. This movie is a very inspirational movie i recomend it to all ages exept young children aged 0-7 because i dont think they would quite understand what is happening. I love this movie and hope every one in the world gets to watch the movie or read the book. I rate the movie a 10/10 and the book 9/10 because i just really wanted to get intreaved in the book. This film Soul Surfer has a lot to taken in but shows a of courage. It is a great movie and is unbelievable what Bethany Hamilton has achieved with so much difficulty. It is very sad but happy and exciting at the same time. I do not know how she got through it at such a young age. She is a role model to all ages out there. It is such a GREAT movie and if you haven’t seen it well you know what you are going to do right now. This movie shows that you can do anything even if you have something that is holding you back if you keep trying you will get there no matter what! It is very scary to thing this is actually is a real story. I wonder how the family would feel? They probably were very scared at the time because they might of thought that she would not have made it. But at the same time they would be so proud that she has got through so much. Any body could watch this I believe because it shows so much inspiration to others.

What an amazing, inspirational film that is based on a true story. Not only is it an entertaining movie and enjoyable to watch, but it also motivates others that are exactly in the same situation. This film displays resilience, strength, and motivation. The outline of this film is actually very sad and shows how this teenage girl gets bitten by a shark and has to move on with her life and accept the fact that she can’t change what has happened. But further into the film it shows us how she begins to enjoy the life she has, and that people accept the people she has become. I rate this film a 10/10 as it is very emotional and inspirational and would recommend this film to people over the age of 9.

Well….Soul surfer is definately a winner. What an amazing movie. This movie is based on a true story and is about a pro surfer, Bethany Hamilton, who loses her arm in a shark attack. This is one of my favourite movies by far! Anna-Sophia Robb is one of my favourite actors so I knew I would love it. Considering it is based on a true story, it was an extremely inspirational movie. The movie was quite relatable, especially to me because I have a broken wrist so I am one handed for a few weeks. The movie really showed me to never stop doing what you love no matter what situation you’re in. I think the movie is suited to both boys and girls between the ages of 9-14 because I watched it with my older sister and she loved it too. I would rate it 9/10 because it was made extremely well and was a movie that really had a message rather than just a normal one. I loved it so much 🙂

This story is about a girl who is an awesome surfer but has a complication and she loses her arm in a shark attack. Although this is very sad she has to learn to cope with only one arm. I really liked this film because it really said to me to keep on going and strive further and further, to reach your dreams even if things get in the way you can get through them like Bethany did! This film is a inspirational film and I would rate it a 10/10 because you have to have great courage to do something like that! I loved the movie Soul Surfer. This movie is inspirational and it shows us that you can achieve your dream even if their are issues that you encounter. I watched this movie many times and I still want to watch it again. My favourite part of the movie is how Bethany overcame the many problems that she has. The only thing that I can relate to the movie is if you persist you can achieve your goal. I loved to watch this movie, I cant believe her arm actually got bitten off! Bethany (the girl that’s arm got bitten off) is such an inspiration to me, and a lot of other young girls. She just shows that no matter what happens you can always challenge on and get through it. I think alot of young girls and surfer people would love this movie, aswell as families. Soul surfer is an inspirational movie that brings a tear to the eye. It a true story about a 13 year old surfer from Hawaii, Bethany Hamilton. who encounters tragic accident. she lost her arm to a 15 foot tiger shark while surfing. Bethany is a girl who had been surfing before she could even walk. The movie follows the heart felt journey of Bethany after the attack and how she fights to get back in the water to compete in the Hawaii Island Regionals.
I recommend this movie to everyone who enjoys surfing or tragic true stories. I love soul Surfer so much that i now know the move off by heart.

I enjoyed this movie a lot. It was so sad when the girls arm ges bitten off by the shark and it was really good how she came back really well. I really like the part when she gets in the water and tries to surf again. My favourite character is Bethany because she is really determined and she had a lot of courage to compete in the competition. I rate this movie a 7/10 and I recommend this movie for people aged 11 and up.

Soul Surfer is an amazing movie that is based on a girl named Bethany Hamilton who has a major incident and Bethany uses all her courage and strength to overcome her problems. My favourite part was when Bethany caught that massive wave in a competition but didn’t count but Bethany always said. “it counted”. Which I thought was very positive of her to say that instead of saying, they didn’t count its not fair. I loved this movie and if you love surfing then you will enjoy this too. Its a good movie to watch with your friends or just with your family. I give this book a 10/10 🙂

Soul Surfer, is a great movie that displays true strength and resilience. The story line of the movie is very sad but once you get further into it, its a great movie and really inspiring. Before I watched it people told me it was sad and it was but it was still a very good movie. This is a great family movie to watch. I enjoyed watching this movie. It was very touching and shows the true meaning of strength and resilience.

This movie is truly touching and one that you’ll never get sick of. It is so inspirational and now I really do believe anything is possible. I rate this movie a 4 out of 5 and I believe it’s suitable for ages 10 and up. The story of the hardships Bethany has had to undertake will change your prospective of everything and you really think how lucky you are. My favourite character would definitely have to be Bethany herself as she is an inspiration to all. The determination shown and the happiness brought to you from her at the end, will just bring you a gleeful smile that will last the day.

I really loved this movie. It’s so inspirational, even though i’m not a surfer I still find this amazing that she can still carry on what she loves even though she has been though very rough times. i really loved this movie it was just so beautiful i just loved it. When my mum watched it she cried and cried and cried she’s one of those people that cries in nearly every movie haha. bethany was so strong and confident that i think she could do any thing. The main sad thing is that it was about a true story which was very sad but it was so good how she was strong enough that she could still be a great surfer even with only one arm.

I absolutely loved this. It is amazing. It was so sad and also so inspirational and so amazing that it is a true story. he movie is based on Bethany (a girl in her late teens) that loved surfing and spends every spare minute surfing. She gets her arm bitten off by a shark, this movie shows her journey through this tough time and how she over comes it and what amazing this come out of it. I love it when she gets up for the first time after the shark attack it just makes me feel so happy and excited I can’t believe her persistence and how she still does it today. Bethany is such a strong person and has lots of determination and is a role model for lots of kids.

I definitely recommend this movie. It is so inspiring! This movie proves that anything is possible when you put your mind to it and believe in yourself. My favourite part is when she surfs for the first time after the shark attack. She is so brave. It would have been such an amazing feeling.

I have watched this movie before but I recently saw it again. It was so inspirational and so amazing that it is a true story. I loved every minute of it! My favourite part is when Bethany goes over to help victims of a tsunami. All of the people are scared of the water and Bethany helps them get over this feeing but holding a little boys hand in the water. Suddenly everyone come in and enjoys the water. I think that Bethany is so inspiring to be able to not just surf after she lots her arm, but to surf professionally. I think that it would take me ages to get back in the water if I had been attacked by a shark!!! I would recommend this movie to everyone and I would rate it 10/10

This movie is so great, it really is a sad movie with a feel good ending, and as it quotes-she is a miracle, after experiencing the loss of her arm after a violet shark attack, Bethany Hamilton had only one thing on her mind. To be able to return to the waves and become able to compete with the able bodied surfers. I love this movie and highly recommend it.

This movie to so inspiring and I just love it. I love it when she gets up for the first time after the shark attack it just makes me feel so happy and excited. And now looking at where she is now it proves that anyone can do anything if they out their mind towards do it. This movie is fantastic. It shows true courage and determination. My favourite character would be Bethany because I can just see how hard it would be to have a sport practically ripped form your hands where you have to start over and moderate the way you do it. I can’t imagine what I would do if this happened to me. This is also a connection to my life I can make with this movie. My favourite part of the movie is when the dad has already created a surfboard for her where she can duck dive easier because he knew she couldn’t resist it for much longer. It just showed how much he knew about her. Another favourite part it is when she goes to mexico and teaches the shy little boy to surf, and play in the water. It just made everyone who was deviated smile and I loved it. Probably more because it was based on a true story. My least favourite part of the movie would be when she gives away her three surfboards to the little girls. For just a little while there she gave up the thing she loved because she lost hope in herself. I wouldn’t change anything that happened in this movie only because if something in this movie didn’t happen, then she wouldn’t have made the movie in the first place, wouldn’t be so famous and wouldn’t have shared her story with the word. I recommend this movie to anyone and everyone, but maybe not right before you go to the beach! I would rate this movie an 11/10 and I think it’s fantastics.

I love the movie soul surfer because I loved how Bethany lost her arm then came back to surfing! that is just so inspirational. I would have to say my favroutie part of the movie is at the end where Bethany comes back to the surf because it shows she never gives up!
I would have to say my favrouite character would by far be Bethany! obviously because not only is she the main character but because she is a really good surfer, she is really pretty and she stayed strong when she lost her arm! I would have to recommend the movie all people who love to surf or kids over 8 because the scene where Bethany loses her arm is quite sad, I cried myself! I would rate this movie a 9 out of 10! that is how much I loved the movie!!

I loved the movie “Soul Surfer”. Bethany Hamilton was a excellent surfer, until an horrific shark attack, leaving one arm gone. This movie was very inspiring, the fact how Bethany is so courageous and brave, made me love it even more. I couldn’t believe that this movie was based on a true story! Soul Surfer has an great moral: To never give up even though things are bad. Even though this movie is sad at parts, it some how made me happy and inspired. I rate this movie 9/10 and i recommend it to anyone 7+. This movie will always be one of my favourites.

This would have to be one of the most emotional, inspirational movies I have ever seen. Bethany is so strong mentally and physically. She stays true to herself throughout the whole movie and is incredibly determined.

Soul Surfer is an amazing story about a young christian girl who was attack by a shark in Hawaii. With her whole arm gone she has to learn new ways of doing things and has to cope with the situations that she can not do. With growing up in a christian family Bethany has a lot of strength from God to help her get through those tough times. This is an inspirational book with lots of morals and life lessons to be learnt. I would recommend it to anyone and will guarantee you will want to read it over and over again. I am giving it a 10 out of 10, an exceptional read!

the movie. my sis and cousin and I injoed it so much we love your movie we went to the beach the day after and we went in the water and sortof started!but this movie is the best one i ever wached…. i love that she surfs for god and jesus and i just love it sooo muh i was crying it was so tuching and i just cant stop talking about it. I watched this movie just recently and i absolutely loved it. Bethany is so brave and it is truly inspiring. It made me realise that all of the little things that i complain about are nothing compared to what some people go through. After i watched the movie i also tried doing things with one arm just to see how I’d cope in her situation and it was so hard! I couldn’t even imagine the hardships that she has had to face. Everything changed when she lost her arm, including her self esteem. I would recommend this movie to anyone that doesn’t mind shedding a slight tear and is over the age of 10. As gross as it was, my favourite part was actually the shark attack 🙂

Bethany is a inspiring person, knowing that having lost an arm will be a big change in her life, she still persists to be a professional surfer and do the things she did with her arm. Her life changes a lot after her accident and her family help her and encourages her to do the things she wants to. This book tells us that anything is possible if you just try. I absolutely love this movie. This movie is suitable for anyone who wants to watch it. There is heartbreaking sad moments that happen but the character Bethany Hamilton stands up for her self to get back onto her feet. My favourite part is when she goes in a surf comp and tries her best. Even though she didn’t end up winning but she did her best and was proud. Her friend Alana Blanchard was always with her and beside her to be a good friend. I rate this movie a 10/10 suitable from age 10 or 11+.

Soul Surfer the movie is the best movie but it is a bit sad at times.It is about a girl called Bethany Hamilton and she loves surfing with her friend.Then She goes Night surfing with her friends and dad and there are fireworks. The next day, She goes surfing with her brother, her best friend and her dad. Then A shark comes from under neath and bites off her left arm. She loses a lot of blood and she was close to dying until her brother finds a rock and breaks into their car and calls the ambulance. The Ambulance comes and takes Bethany to the Emergency room in the Hospital. My Favourite part of the movie is when Bethany comes back from an shark bite that nearly killed he but she bounces back from it and comes second in the National surfing championship and it just moves me. My favourite character in the movie is of course, Bethany because she got nearly killed by a shark but her personality and good sense of humour kept her alive. With her support of her family and friends, that’s how she came second in the surfing competition that’s why she is my favourite character in the best movie in the world.
I would recommend this awesome movie to anyone who likes surfing and likes true stories. I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone so Start watching this movie, trust me, it’s the best movie you will ever watch in your life.

Soul Surfer is such an amazing, inspiring movie. I really loved the story, but even though I loved it, at times it was so hard to watch. Bethany is such a strong, determined character, and she is what makes the movie so amazing. Her family members are always by her side, pushing her through the ups and downs of her journey. Through out the movie I couldn’t help feel that Bethanys friend weren’t there for her as much as they should’ve been, but in the end, Bethany shows the support she had was more than enough to get her through. I would recommend this movie to anyone older than around twelve, who loves a heartfelt, inspiring movie. Defiantly a good watch!

Its a great way of learning the story of bethany hamilton after having her arm bitten of by a shark she beats the odds and becomes a pro surfer like she dreamed! If you love surfing and need some inspiration you should definitely watch this movie it will change your perspective on life and how you should live it. Soul surfer is one of the most inspirational movies I have ever seen and one of my favourites, The movie teaches us to never give up no matter what the circumstance even when things are looking hopeless and to persist if we don’t get it right. It also tells us that we should never stop doing anything if we love it and how family and friends are necessary for support in hard times. I would recommend this movie to 8-9 yo+ and anyone who loves a happy ending. It’s quite a sad movie though so you might want to have a box of tissues beside you! Soul surfer is one of my favourite movies ever! My favourite part was when bethany thought that she couldn’t ever surf again, but then when she went out in the water, she stood up. It made me so emotional because she believed in herself that she could surf again, and she did. I have watched the movie 5 times now and haven’t got bored at all. Something that I think that the author or director could improve in the movie, was that when the shark bit Bethany, it wasn’t realistic at all. Maybe they could try to make it be a little bit more realistic so that it keeps us interested. Besides that little part, I thought that the movie Soul Surfer was absolutely fantastic. I rate it a 10/10 because it was soooo good. I would recommend this for ages 11+ because I know someone who was 9 and didn’t get the movie at all. Great movie defiantly should watch it!

Soul Surfer is an amazing movie! I loved the movie. It was so inspirational it made me feel like I can do anything no mater what it is. When I saw this movie it made me cry the whole way though knowing that someone just like me can go though all of that and still be the best she can. It inspired me to be the best I can at every thing I do no matter what happens. Her family was so loving and so helpful to her. She is so lucky to have a family that loves you and cars for you no mater what happened to her.

this is definitely one of the most inspirational movies i have ever seen. I recommend “Soul Surfer” because it is an amazing inspirational story of how a girls surfing passion and one day when she was surfing she lost her arm in a shark attack, and she had to follow her dreams and learn how to surf again. I love this movie because it teaches you the message of when you come back from a loss and you never say never you find a true surfing champion. This is an inspirational story full of wonder, adventure and teaches you to follow your dreams and never give up. the director put the movie together really well and accurately captured Bethany Hamilton’s story perfectly. I think i speak for everyone that once you watch this you get pretty inspired and want to watch it over and over again! Anna Sophia-Robb who plays Bethany does a really good job in playing lead role and she makes you think that she is actually Bethany herself. I recommend this movie to ages 9+. It you love an adventure of bravery and courage then this movie is the right one for you (only if you have some tissues.) i would also rate it a 10 / 10, and will remain one of my favourite movies of all time.

It has great characters in it and Annasophia Robb played her role of Bethany Hamilton really well. Annasophia is one of my favourite actresses and she has played many other roles in great movies. I think that this movie was about bravery and courage and it really captured Bethany Hamilton’s journey. I would recommend this movie to people who like inspiring true life stories and from the ages 10+. I would rate this movie 10/10 because it was a really goog and heart warming movie.

The movie takes you through the journey of Bethany trying to get her surfing career back in line. This takes you through her emotional journeys of giving up and a whole lot of persistence. This movie has got to be one of my favourites. I truly love the story behind all of this. Because this is a true story it was even more emotional. Bethany was sos courageous. She never stop trying. She would let someone or thing get in the way. The shark attack was an unfortunate event but luckily she survived. The strength from her and her attitude were surely something to learn from.

I recommend this movie called soul surfer (which is also a book), a true story about Bethany Hamilton and the tragic accident as she lost arm whilst surfing. Bethany is a girl who had a love of surfing. She lived in Hawaii, and would always go surfing of exquisite reefs and white beaches. But one day she and her best friend went surfing in what they thought would be an experience of a lifetime. It turned out in a different situation, after Bethany almost dies after a shark take her arm. She was then rushed to the hospital where she was treated for the incident. From there on she now had to try and live a life with one arm. This movie is an inspirational story about strength and never giving up. This has giving me moderation, and shows that with practice we can achieve anything.
I rate this movie a 10/10 of the inspiring attitude it taught me. This is a movie for everyone!

Before seeing this movie, i had no idea who Bethany Hamilton was, but now she is one of my biggest inspirations! My favourite part of the movie was when Bethany and Sarah are having a conversation and Bethany cries for the first time after the accident. I love how bethany is so determined to become a professional surfer despite her disadvantage, and finds ways (with some support from the people around her) to pursue that dream. I am so jealous of the lives of those in the movie, they get home schooled and get to go to the beach everyday. My favourite character in the movie was Alana Blanchard because she was the character that i could relate to most, she is so supporting of Bethany and I loved how she was in the movie because i had heard of her before and i got kind of excited when I found out she was going to be part of the movie. I also really like this movie because bethany is played by one of my favourite actresses (Anna-Sophia Robb) and i think that she did a fantastic job of it. The part that i disliked the most was when Bethany got attacked by the shark, but i wouldn’t take that part out of course, but it just made my heart race and i went into panic mode even though i wasn’t actually there. I would rate this movie a definite 10/10, it’s amazing and i would recommend it to girls and boys no younger than 10 🙂

Soul Surfer is a interesting inspiring story about Bethany Hamilton a professional surfer who is out surfing one day with her best friend Alana and gets attacked by a shark and she is eager to keep surfing having one arm was never going to stop her from surfing. She realises that she is lucky to be alive and its not that bad only having one arm. It is a very emotional movie. This movie has shown me that when you put your mind to something you can certainly do anything and showed how lucky i am to have two arms. I recommend this to people who might like fiction book or people that might of read the book and really enjoyed it and might enjoy the movie to.

i think soul surfer is a great movie because it showed that she had so much inspiration and determination just to be the best she could be even with one arm and she doesn’t care if she is judged wrongly but its counts in her heart my favourite part was the end but i don’t want to say to much or i will give it away but i would rate it 10/10 because its a movie i can watch over and over again. it inspired me to just strive for what i can and just feel what was in my heart and not care what other people judge me !! i recommend it to people that want to watch a movie that is inspirational !!! 🙂

This movie is a pretty good one; it has a great cast of Anna-Sophia Robb, Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt; a great story line built up with suspense; and a great moral – Don’t let any obstacle stand in your way, whether is it physical, mental, or emotional. Every single scene of this movie is enjoyable, and very built up to one single event, which changes the story in nearly an unimaginable way. The way that Bethany Hamilton (Anna-Sophia Robb) pulls through this disability is incredible to watch, and the fact that it is based on a true story is even more amazing. Even after watching this movie several times, I would still rate it 10 out of 10 stars, but recommend it to the ages of 10 and up, because of some frightening scenes.

I think that this is possibly the best movie I have ever seen. I think that the inspiration of this book really show other people how hard life can be but now matter what you have to carry on. I think that the actors really get into the spirit of the film and really started to understand what life would have been like. I think that my favorite parts in the movie was when she always showed courage and never gave up but always strive to be her best. I would rate this movie 10 out of 10 and recommend it to any one who loves a great inspiring movie.

I liked that this movie was about surfing and not giving up because I love to surf. It was an inspirational movie?
My favourite part was that the main character kept persisting and didn’t give up hope.
My favourite character was Bethany because she was inspiring to people and she believed in herself.
I can relate to the main character because of her love of surfing also because she’s a teenage girl.
I wouldn’t change anything if I could because this movie shows that even through hard times things will get better even if they don’t seem like they will.
I recommend this movie to all teenage girls especially those who love to surf! I rate it 10/10 🙂 great movie!.

What and amazing movie! And story! It shows just how must courage a human can really have if they put their minds to something. A touching story that I watched over and over again and each time feeling a little more excitement when anything was achieved. Such an inspiration to any one and I recommend this movie for all. It really is the most amazing story ever, I promise you, you will love it 🙂

I recommend “Sole Surfer” the movie because it is an amazing inspirational story of a girls surfing passion and one day when she was surfing she lost her arm in a shark attack, and she has to follow her dreams and learn how to surf again. I love this movie because it teaches you the message of when you come back from a loss and you never say never you find a true surfing champion. This is an inspirational story full of wonder, adventure and teaches you to follow your dreams and never give up. I recommend this movie to ages 9+. It you love an adventure of bravery and courage then this movie is the right one for you. You will love it 😀

OMG ! i love this movie because, it is very inspiring to me ! and she doe’s not give up no matter what happen’s, and i love to surf and it it just make’s it even better and even more inspiring i would rate this movie like 1000/1000 🙂 and it is very motivating everyone has to see it i mean everyone ive seen it like a miilion time’s but i mean i love all surf movies *! it’s just very touching ! .

Soul surfer was a great movie for ALL ages. I think it is a really inspirational movie that was one of the best of it’s time. As we can see through the movie Bethany is a strong hearted girl who never takes no as an answer. Bethany is a great role model for me one of the most amazing people i’ve every seen. Her family is very sportive of her. GREAT script GREAT cast = GREAT movie. 10/10 but I would recommend it for people who like surfing or just like a great movie. 🙂

Just another ordinary day carving it up out in the waves when a shark comes along and bits her whole arm off. Soul Surfer is the most inspirational story I have ever seen. Bethany Hamilton is a fighter and would not be surfing today if I wasn’t for her determination and God in her heart. Growing up in a christian family Bethany had the strength to push through that hard time. This movies makes you wonder how lucky you are to have two arms. Imagine only having one arm, you would hardly be able to do anything but Bethany was strong and persisted on. Because of her strength Bethany was able to fight back and become the professional surfer that she always wanted to be. I would rate this 100/10. This is a must see movie and I recommend it to anyone that loves a touching story.

Soul surfer is a really touching movie that makes you think how lucky you are and to believe no matter what. it is about a girl who is a surfer and gets her arm bitten off and then her life story on from then. it really is an amazing movie and i could watch it over and over again. with this movie you always want to know what will happen next and if she will give up but you just know that she wont because she is so determined. i would rate this movie 10/0 because i loge the story line and how she just never gave up and especially after what happened because most people complain over little things but Bethany just thought that there were other people with worse things then her so she never gave up i would rate the audience for 11+

Soul surfer is such an amazing and inspiring story about Bethany hamilton. Its a true stroy about a girl who loosed her arm in a shark attack one morning while she is surfing. With just one arm Bethany overcomes difficult challenges to build up strength in her arm so she can surf again. I think it is so amazing how bethany works so hard to achieve her goals and it really inspires you to go and try your best at everything you do even if the odds are against you. I would rate this movie 9/10 and would recommend it to people 11+ in age because their are mature themes and some scary parts. 🙂

This is such a great movie! Bethany Hamilton is a true surfer chick ever since she was small. When she is at the top of her career she loses her arm to a shark while surfing at the reef with her friends. She finds it extremely hard to get back to surfing but she keeps on trying! finally she learns and trains to get out the back with a handy capped surf board and comes second against the selfish Melina! I find this movie so inspiring!

Soul Surfer is an true, inspiring story about a girl, Bethany Hamilton, on her way to becoming a pro surfer but, loses her arm to a shark while out surfing with her best friend. Although she now has just one arm, and she finds some things more difficult, she doesn’t give up especially when it comes to surfing. While she tries to regain her skills for surfing she also wonders how her accident was apart of gods plans. A friend once told her, ‘For i know the plans I have for you, says the lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope, and a future.’ As Bethany becomes stronger as a person, will her surfing become stronger too? I rate this 5/5 and I recommend this movie for ages 10 and up. If your ever feeling down and you feel like you can’t get back up, this is a great movie to watch, as it inspires you to never give up and to remember, if Bethany can do it, so can you.

I recommend this movie called soul surfer (which is also a book), a true story about Bethany Hamilton and the tragic accident as she lost arm whilst surfing. Bethany is a girl who had been surfing since she was little, and now that she was older, she would enter surf competitions all the time. She lived in Hawaii, and one day she and her best friend went surfing in a different spot. As they were in the water talking, unexpectedly, a shark comes out from under Bethany’s surfboard and takes her arm. She is then rushed to hospital. She was very lucky to be alive and now has to try and live life with one arm. She then finds that she can’t surf anymore, due to her finding it difficult to push herself up on the board whilst surfing. But with heaps of practice, she finds the faith within herself, and she tries to surf again. Maybe it isn’t the same surfing with one arm, but she shows the world that no matter what, if you set your mind to something, you can always achieve it. S he is great role-model to people all around the world, and she inspires everyone that anything is possible.
Before watching soul surfer, I guess if I was no good at something, I’d try, but if I didn’t get anywhere, I would give up. But now she’s inspired me that anything is possible if set your mind to it, and now, no matter what I fail at, I know that with practice, I can achieve anything.
I rate this movie a 9/10 because it was really interesting movie and it is PG, which means that it is suitable with parental guidance. If you like inspiring, true stories, then this is a perfect movie for you. I guarantee that anyone who watches it will love it, and I hope that Bethany Hamilton inspires you as much as she inspired me

My friend got me this movie for my birthday about a week ago and i think i have watched it 5 times already! It is my favorite movie and I really really really love it!!! I think they put the movie together really well and captured Bethany Hamilton’s story really well. I think i speak for everyone that once you watch this you get pretty inspired and want to watch it over and over again! Anna Sophia-Robb who plays Bethany does a really good job in playing lead role and she makes you think that she is actually Bethany herself! All the characters do a really good job as well! Soul Surfer is the best movie ever!

This is one of my favourite movies ever. It is sooo inspirational even though I don’t personally surf, it shows the courage of a girl and how she doesn’t let anything bring her down. And to top it all off, it’s based on a true story.
The movie is about Bethany Hamilton and how she goes surfing one day and a victim of a shark attack. She and her family live, breath and sleep surfing. With one arm Bethany feels that her life is over until she grows the courage to train and become strong enough to surf with one arm. She overcomes amazing challenges and is an inspirational character.

I loved Soul Surfer it was the best movie ever. It inspired me quite a lot to go for what you dream. Bethany Hamilton is a brilliant surfer. My Favorite part of the movie of the movie is the part is when she gets back in the water and I loved it. The sadest part of the movie is when Bethany’s arm is bitten of by a shark and they are at the hospital and her mum and dad are very worried. My favorite Character of the movie is Bethany because it is her story and she loves to show her surfing tricks of which i think is so cool. I would definitely recommend this movie because it is so inspirational and has a message which is got for what you dream.

I think this was the most insparational movie I have ever seen. Not only is it an entertaining movie and enjoyable to watch, It was also moving and informative about the dangers of surfing (sharks). But I didn’t get the wrong message about shark attacks from the movie (my father is now scared of due to the fact that he watched Jaws as a child). I Beleive that If you trully love something as Bethany Hamilton loves surfing nothing even a setback as big as losing a major ligamont can stop you doing what you love. Bethany Hamilton has all the qualities that a true champion is made of.. Courage, Passion, Determination and Love. Bethany Hamilton was my favourite character in the movie. (of course), But I also admired Alana Blanchard. She also showed bravery (yes she was there when the attack actually happened) and Alana was also a friend in need when Bethany needed her most. Bethany Hamilton showed great faith in God and I thought that was good. ‘When you come back after a loss and beat all the odds you find a true champion’ Bethany Hamilton is an amazing role model and the movie just promotes how amazing she is.. I recommend the book Soul Surfer. I recommend this book to any person who enjoys a page turner book. Soul Surfer is based on a true story on faith, faimly and getting back on board. This book is inspired by a surfer Bethany Hamilton who is famous for surving a shark attack , she lost her left arm but still continued to surf all her life. I enjoyed this book because she was always faithful to God and didn’t stop her incident keep her from what she loves most. This is a really intresting book and I recommend you READ this.

Soul Surfer IS THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!!! I have looked up to Bethany ever since I was 9, in fact she was the one who got me to surf. So seeing the movie was a MUST. I have actually seen it two times and I still don’t get sick of. Its an amazing story about never giving up and fight back. Bethany Hamilton was an amazing surfer who was on top of everything, then one fateful halloween morning changed it all. Bethany lost her arm in a shark attack. This is a story that will have you on the edge of your seat. Its so inspirational and its based on a TRUE story!!!!!! I give it a 10/10 and recommend to all people especially surfers because they will understand how hard it would have been.

I recently went and saw the a great movie called Soul Surfer it is a real great and inspiring movie for those who surf but also for ordanary teenage girls. I really enjoyed watching it because it made me relise about others just not your self. I would rate this movie 10/10 it was the best movie i have literealy seen its a bit emotional but enjoyable to sit down and watch with anyone. my favourite character was Bethany because she risks her life and is strong, brave, pretty and inspires others and helps them and always challenges herself. Go See it now you will love it
