To all the boys I’ve loved before was such an adorable movie. It is filled with such a wide mixture of romance, humour and drama, and I absolutely loved it! The plot of the 5 letters revealing her childhood crushes is phenomenal to me, and gets me all giggly and excited. Childhood crushes… gives such nostalgia. I must say this movie is really unique, with Lara Jean having a fake boyfriend which eventually turns into a real relationship. Lara Jean is really the luckiest character, getting the guy and everything. I highly recommend this chick flick to all the teen girls out there.

To all the boys i’ve loved before is truly a Netflix masterpiece! The movie is based off an adored book and I absolutely love it. It’s got a very interesting story with Lara Jean and I think that the cast was perfectly chosen. With the perfect mix of comedy, drama and a bit of love this move truly is a movie to watch with friends and popcorn. I would recommend this film for anyone aged between 12-16 because i think it’s a film that every book lover will love. I would recommend this movie for anyone and everyone to see it’s so fun.

A great chick flick that i know everyone will love. a great movie to watch when you have nothing to do and are really bored. A different sort of storyline which will leave you gasping the whole way. This movie is about someone who doesn’t have much self confidence.
lara Jean is one of my favourite characters because she is very smart. She is too scared to get close to anyone after her mother who had passed before the movie starts, but in the end she finds a way to open up to her ‘boyfriend’ Peter and finds happiness within herself. I also think it is great how both characters Peter and Lara Jean found a way together to stand up to Peters ex-girlfriend Gen the bully. People whole love chick flicks would love this movie.

I love this movie so much! It’s definitely one of my favourite movies ever. I adore the characters. My favourite isPeter because he is so sweet and charming and he is loveable. I also love Lara Jean because she is so funny and relatable. I like it because she is just an ordinary girl and the is nothing particularly special about her which is different to a lot of movies where the protagonist has everything going on and is popular and has heaps of friends. I love LJ and Peters relationship and I think they are so cute together. I love the plot of this movie and it kept me guessing the entire time. I also love LJ’s best friend Chris because I find her hilarious and she is such a great addition to the movie. I 10/10 recommend this movie to anyone who loves a great teen romance.

  8. To all the boys I’ve loved before is a great movie. Its about a girl called Lara Jean who wrote all these love letters to the boys she liked over the years but never gave them the letters. Her sister decides to send them all, and now Lara has no idea what to do. Through out the movie she does some stuff, has a few dramatic issues, the usual. But towards the end she finds one of those lucky boys to be with. I think this movie shows different stages someone could go through, but its a funny movie at the same time. Love it. 8/10. Would recommend this to everyone its family friendly.
    Go watch the movie!

To All The Boys Ive Loved Before is an amazing movie to watch with your friends at a sleepover. It is classic teen rom com and is a movie that you can constantly re-watch due to your emotional connection to the characters and the comedic script. Lara Jean wrote 5 love letters to each one of her different crushes, however some how they get sent back to her, meaning that all the boys have read the letters that Lara Jean poured her heart into. I would recommend this movie to 13+ and I would give it an 8/10

I personally love this movie. I love that it has lots of genres like romance, chick lit etc. all in just one movie. All though sometimes Gen makes me want to scream she is still a great charactar. My favourite person in this movie is Kitty. She is such a great sister and she cares about Lara Jean being happy. This movie has to be the most strange romance I have ever seen in a good way. I don’t think I have watch a romance movie that has a fake boyfriend that turns into a real one. I somehow find the fact that Lara Jean wrote five love letters to five different crushes. I would recommend this movie for 12 to 17 year olds. I would rate it 10/10.

  12. I love this movie! It is so cute and romantic. I start out not liking Peter (he just makes SO MANY bad choices and mistakes!) but… he’s alright by the end. Lara Jean is so nice and genuine. My favourite part probably the scene at the café with Lara Jean and Peter at the start of the movie. The way she tries to avoid his questions just seems to funny! My favourite character, (as you can probably tell), is Lara Jean, but her little sister is also pretty cool! Her sister just tries to be kind to her sister in her own way, although she does know that she is doing something naughty!! She is really funny too, with her helmet for the car trip, (also smart)! My least favourite part is probably at the party. It’s just frustrating. Still, I wouldn’t change anything, as even the parts I don’t like make to movie better! I would recommend this movie to anyone in the mood for a romance with a bit of humour. I loved it! Please watch!!

  13. When I heard people talking about this movie and first clicked on it, I thought it would be a boring, romantic film with dry characters that have no personality, but I was very wrong. I absolutely loved Lara Jean’s personality and style and I thought this was really cute, but romantic movie. One of my favourite things about this movie is that they started their fake relationship to make different people jealous but ended up falling for each other on their fake dates and I loved the suspense of will they or won’t they end up together or will Peter succeed with their mission and get back with Gen. I’d recommend this movie to anyone who’s looking for a good, modern romance and I rate it a 7/10.

This movie would definitely have to be one of my favourites ever, as it captures romance and drama. Lara Jean wrote 5 love letters to 5 of her crushes (back in middle school), not meaning to send them and just for fun. She had a little sister called Kitty, her Dad and her sister Margot who recently moved away for college. Sadly, Lara Jeans mother passed away. One day Kitty really wanted to get revenge on her, so she had a brilliant idea. She sent out all of Lara Jeans love letters from Middle School! These all got sent to her crushes, making it extremely embarrassing. This book captures all of all of Lara Jeans ups and downs and emotions through trying to get these letters back. It is such a heartwarming read, I definitely recommend this book to (mostly girls) 12+!

OMG I love this movie! It’s super girly and fun, Lara Jean writes 5 love letters to all her crushes that she has ever had. Lara Jeans little sister Kitty sent out those letters and one of those letters was to Peter, he is the most popular guy in school and just recently broke up with his girlfriend Jen. Now somehow Lara Jean and Peter cross paths and they start fake dating to make Peters ex girlfriend jealous, but Lara Jean and Peter end up falling for each other and go on this crazy love story.

It is such a rollar coster of emotions, but all around such a great movie! I definitely recommend and give it a 10/10!!

  16. This movie is great for when you need a light-hearted pick-me-up kind of romance. It is entertaining and is certainly an interesting story. I liked how it wasn’t too deep or one of those movies where you really have to think about it, and it kind of messes with your mind, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. A simple, heartwarming teenage romance that I would definitely recommend to everyone who loves a good romance. It tells the story of Lara Jean who writes a letter to her crushes but never sends them. One day, her little sister gets a hold of them and sends them to the recipients. In order to deal with the fallout, she enters a fake relationship with one of the recipients, Peter K, who is trying to make his ex-girlfriend jealous. I would definitely recommend this movie for when you want something light-hearted, feel-good and not too deep.

  17. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before is one of the few movies that does the book version justice, and I really enjoyed watching it. It is a very unique twist on romantic comedies as a genre, and it well worth the watch. The story is about Lara Jean, who is like any other teenage girl and finds herself with crushes on different boys over the years, but decides to write love letters to each of them as a form of closure. These were meant to stay in her room, but when her younger sister sends them out, it wreaks havoc on Lara Jean’s love life.
My favourite part is when Peter brings Lara Jean a Yakult on their ski trip, because it shows how he cares about her without actually saying it. Kitty is definitely my favourite character as she is always third-wheeling with Peter and Lara Jean and supports her sister. If I could change anything in this movie I would change the ending to be like the ending of the book, which you’ll see if you watch it. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of a cheesy romantic comedy or high school movies, as you will laugh and cry along with Lara Jean the whole way – perfect for a Saturday night in with some popcorn!

To all the boys I’ve loved before is the first movie in the series and I personally think it was better than the second movie (To all the boys I’ve loved before P.S I still love you) as there were more things going on and everything kinda got repetitive in the second movie. The movie was originally a romance book written by Jenny Han but thanks to Netflix was transformed into a movie in 2018. The story is based around a teenage girl named Laura Jane and her many love letters that she has written to all of her crushes over the years but never sent them. Her younger sister Kitty found them and posted them off to the people Laura once had crushes on thinking it would spice up Laura’s boring love life. Little did she know she was about to make Laura’s life a big mess. I would give to all the boys I’ve loved before a 10/10. I loved this movie and would definitely recommend it.

They go on an incredible journey together and realised they have fallen for each-other. But there love get smashed when jean revealed a video to the school, but Peter and Lara jean pull through and become the cutest boyfriend and girlfriend!

To all the boys I’ve loved before is about a young girl Lara Jean who lives with her dad and sisters Margot and Kitty, she is very quite and a good student with not many friends. Through out her life she has written love letters to 5 of her crushes, but she has never sent them to anyone or told anyone about them, one day her younger sister Kitty sends them off to all 5 boys, after this the movie gets really exciting and you don’t expect what comes next. My favourite character is probably Lara as she comes out of her shell and really starts to express herself. I would definitely reckoned this movie to my friends as it is funny, mysterious and exciting.I think anyone who likes ’chick flicks’, romantic movies or strong female leads would really like this movie. I wouldn’t like to change anything about this movie as I find it already a great movie.

  26. To all the boys I’ve loved before is a great movie and one of the best Netflix original movies I’ve seen. This movie is about a young girl Lara Jean who lives with her dad and sisters Margot and Kitty. Lara Jean was a pretty quiet student who spent most of her time with her friend Christine at school until her sister Kitty decided to mess things up. Kitty found a box of love letters Lara Jean had written to different boys. She would write a letter every time she had an interest in someone but she would never send them, she would just keep them in this box. When Kitty found the box she decided to send the letters to every boy she had written one too and it’s so great to see what happens. This is an amazing movie that I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes a teen romance kind of film.

OMG I honestly did not expect it to be that good, but now I always watch it with my friends whenever we have a sleep over. Basically, it’s about a girl named Lara Jean and her past crushes. She writes a letter to all her crushes and when the letters get out in public, she finds herself in a very complicated situation. When her past crushes get her letters they all confront her and are honestly a bit confused. Then she and Peter Kavinsky decide to fake their relationship to make their exes jealous.
This is such a good, funny, joy-filled, slightly relatable, and honestly just amazing film that you definitely should watch.

My favourite part of the movie was when Lara finally realised that Peter liked her and that he was being really kind to her, and he had real feelings for her.
Lara Jean was my favourite character because at the start she was all shy and didn’t share any of her feelings but by the end, she was so happy and outgoing and didn’t care what other people thought of her.
I recommend this movie to somebody who loves romcom, someone who is a young adult or a teenager, this movie is so amazing and I love the bonds between all of the characters.

My favourite character is Lara Jean because she is very witty but also strong minded and has gone through a lot. I relate to her in many ways and think she is a very well thought out character. My favourite part was when both Lara Jean and Peter went to her favourite cafe and had chocolate shakes just like her Mum and Dad. There are many similarities between them both and the book goes into further detail of events that have happened and provide a further backstory and additional thoughts from the characters. At the moment it is one of my favourite stories, as it is a classic predictable romance movie which is cute, sweet, and coming of age as you see the characters grow.
It is about a girl named Lara Jean, who is introverted and tends to stay away from attention. She loves the idea of love and is fascinated by the many stories, despite never having a boyfriend. Whenever she has a crush she writes them a letter about how she feels as a way to remember the feeling and express her emotion without actually telling anyone. Over the years she has written 5 in total, and has the intent to keep them to herself. Although this changes when they are recipients suddenly have them and are ready to turn Lara Jeans World upside down. You go along the journey with her and learn about first love, and what it means to have a crush.
This movie is thrilling, interesting and will make you believe in love.
I would recommend it to anyone and rate it highly.

  37. I absolutely loved this movie! It has everything, romance, funny moments, sad moments and of course moments that make you feel embarrassed for the characters. This movie is about a girl names Lara-Jean who has never really dated because she prefers reading about romance than actually living it. So instead she writes love letters when she has a love so strong she doesn’t know what else to do, she keeps these in a box and planned to never share them. Then the letters get out and are received by the people they’re written to, so Lara-Jean has to deal with that. I think that this movie has a unique plot and I’ve never seen anything like it, which is probably what makes it so enjoyable to watch. I would say that this movie is good for all ages, except people above the age of 10 would probably enjoy it and understand whats going on a bit more. I would rate this movie a 8/10!

This movie followed a typical American school where the nerdy girl ends up falling in love with 5 different people, These people include the most popular boy in the school and even her sisters boyfriend. This ends in her going through embarrassment and heartbreak. I really enjoyed this move because it was easy to watch and entertaining. This movie was really typical and I think that’s what made it all the more enjoyable. Lara Jean is just a typical girl that doesn’t have too much going on in her life and manages to find herself in the spotlight of her school.
I really enjoyed this movie because it had a different twist on the rom-com style. This movie showed the true meaning of family and love and it really demonstrated how different peoples lives can be. I would 100% recommend this movie to anyone as it is really entertaining and a great watch.

  40. I really love this movie because I always love a good rom-com and it sends a message about self-confidence, honesty, relationships and unity. It is definitely a movie that anyone can relate to because we all have had that thrilling and sting of a teenage crush and I think that this movie perfectly captures that. One of my favourite parts of the movie is when Lara and Peter were discussing the rules and conditions of their agreement with each other. I loved this scene because it started to show their adorable relationship and you began to see the hints of attraction and feelings which they had for each other and little did they know would eventually take over. I also loved any scenes with Lara Jean, her dad and her sisters because I felt that it was a very realistic and relatable representation of a family unit. I loved how even though this was a romantic comedy, it still touched on the family relationship and the ups and downs that families experience. The only thing I would change about this movie is that it included more scenes between Lara Jean and her dad because I loved seeing their relationship and wish I could’ve seen it a bit more. I also would’ve loved if Lara Jean’s dad knew more about the letter because I think that his reactions could’ve added some more comedy to the movie. But overall I love this movie and I definitely would recommend this to anyone who loves a good rom-com. I think that it is a very easy movie to relate to and is very light-hearted, so it’s a good movie to watch when feeling a bit down. I would rate it a 9/10.

What was your favourite part of the book/movie? Why?
When Lara Jean and Peter (one of the boys) started to talk to each other and hang out it was sooooooo cute.

To all the boys I’ve loved before had me in tears and made my heart melt.
I believe this movie was amazing due to the stereotypes since it relates to teens nowadays.
My favourite part of the movie was when Lara Jean’s secret letters got out in the loose and the people they were addressed to (her crushes) found them. The most important letter to the biggest crush she had was her best friends, cousins ex boyfriend- Peter Kavinsky. Peter makes an agreement with Lara Jean to pretend to date…but will it go terribly wrong?
I rate this movie a 11/10! I would recommend it to people (mostly girls) aged 12+ since the is inappropriate scenes.

To all the boys I’ve loved before is a classic teen romantic movie that everyone loves to watch, over and over again. The main character, Lara Jean loves to write love letters to her crushes and one day her sister sends off the letters. In doing this she develops a fake relationship with one of the recipients, Peter to avoid the consequences of the letters and to make his ex jealous. Throughout the movie, these two characters become very close and share a very special bond as they seem to relate to each other very well and compliment each other. I love the two characters personalities and think that they both bring out the best in each other.
This movie is a heart warming movie and I would recommend this for all girls at SHC.

But he younger sister then gets ahold of them and sends them out. When all the boys get her love letters they confront her and things start to get a little messy with two of them taking an interest in her. I would definitely recommend this movie for a hopeless romantic and anyone who loves to watch a teenage romance movie. I would rate this movie a 10/10 because it keeps you hooked the whole time and has a happy ending !!!!!

To all the boys I’ve ever loved before is a complete twist on a teen love story. Lara Jean is just like any other teenage girl, which I feel makes this movie so much enjoyable. She is one of the most relatable characters, she isn’t particularly special in anyway and doesn’t have anything really interesting going on in her life, which makes the movie that much better. Her little sister, Kitty is just gorgeous and I love the way she just tryies to make Lara Jean happy.
I would recommend this book for anyone that loves a good Romantic Drama and would rate the movie a good 9/10.

  54. I recommend a Netflix original movie called to all the boys I’ve loved before. There is a girl who has 5 intense crushes and when she has an intense crush she writes to them in a letter. Not that she is going to send them or anything. The letters get out and are addressed to all of the boys she has written to. This movie goes through lots of emotions. This is a very good movie and I recommend it for ages 12 to 17 girls because it’s more in the category of teenage girls. It has a great storyline and I rate it a 10/10.

This film honestly almost killed me. In fact I’m not sure it hasn’t yet. The story is vividly entertaining and the characters are so unique.
Lara Jean writes love letters to her 5 crushes, not that she ever plans to send them. But when her little sister gets a hold of them and sends them to their recipients, Lara Jean is desperate. She fakes a relationship with Peter K, one of her crushes, to make his ex jealous and to divert attention from the letters.
Throughout the film, they get closer and closer, and (spoilers) Fall in love!
This was a heartwarming film that made me question how lonely I really am (haha).

I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good teen romcom! (also, you will 100% develop a massive crush on Peter, so be prepared)
