My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.
But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

I read this book last year and honestly, I wasn’t a fan. I didn’t like it so much that I just skipped to the end so I at least would know how it ended.
If you’re into forbidden romance then you will probably adore this book but I feel like the two main characters falling in love was the only thing that happened. Of course, we love the tragic backstory and how that shaped them but I feel like the backstory for these characters was kind of generic, like I’ve read it before. Back then I thought that I just didnt like romance, but then I read TwIlight and thoroughly enjoyed it.
What also bothered me was how positive Maddy (the main character) was about being stuck inside all her life. LIKE I WAS IN QUARANTINE FOR LIKE HALF A YEAR AND I HAD GONE CRAZY. HOW DOES SHE DO IT? I JUST DONT GET IT!
I must say though, there’s this one character called Carla who deserves a solo book. She slayyyyyyyyed and gave the book the pizazz it needed to keep me at bay.
Speaking of things that kept me at bay, try pronouncing the humuhumunukunukuapuaa. Istg it took me a solid hour to get it right. If you want to know why I brought that word up, read the book because although I didn’t quite enjoy the story, I loved its little quirks such as that.
In conclusion, I didn’t really like it, but there were some good bits I liked.

What an incredibly amazing book! This book is so heartfelt and follows the journey of Maddy. Maddy is an 18-year-old girl, who suffers from ‘Baby-in-a-bubble’ disease, or in other words, she is allergic to the world. She has never been outside because anything could trigger a fatal illness. Her house is vacuum-sealed and the only people allowed in and out are Carla, her nurse and Pauline, her mother. Everything has been going well for 18 years, until Olly. Olly is the boy that just moved in next door. He and Maddy talk online and write messages to each other on their bedroom windows, but this isn’t enough. They have a yearning to be together, and he is determined to find a way to reach her. However, with very strict rules in place, this proves to quite difficult and he doesn’t want to put Maddy at risk. This heart-wrenching book follows their journey of heart-break, becoming and loving. Such a beautiful book, 7/10. Great for anyone over the age of 13. I Highley recommend it!

i love this book so much. i first watched the movie a while ago and fell in love with the story and since the book is always better than the movie i had to give the book ago. all i have to say is wow. i strongly recommend both the movie and book so much. if not my favourite than one of my favourits. i could read this book all day everyday.

This is legit one of the best books I’ve ever read it has so many unexpected events and lots of twists and turns I love this book with all of my heart. I started reading this book in lit circles and I was completely hooked by the first few pages. I really like how it’s a romance book but is also suspense full and you can’t guess what is going to happen next. I also like this book because I haven’t been able to find a good book that I wasn’t able to guess what is going to happen.

This is probably the best book i have ever read and best movie i have ever watched. As soon as i started to read it i was hooked on it and i couldn’t stop. Everything, everything is about a girl named Maddy who is told she allergic to the world and she has to stay inside every day. She is homeschooled and isn’t allowed to breathe the outside air. One day a new boy moved in next door. Maddy had a huge crush on Olly the boy next door. They start e-mailing and they really want to meet each other but Maddy’s mum won’t allow that to happen. I don’t want to spoil any more but trust me when i say you have to read this book. You won’t regret it. A great thing about this book is that if you don’t like reading there is a movie but i believe that the book is so much better and you should read it!!!!

Every thing, Every thing was a book I read in Year 8 as my lit circles book. This book was amazing and had a massive twist no one was expecting right at the end. I love the way this book made keep on wanting to read and get to know the characters better and better. The book was written really well and is easy to understand and read at night before you go to sleep. As soon as I read the book I watched to movie to better see it all come together. I would rate this book a 8/10!

This book grabbed my attention straight away. It is both intriguing and entertaining. I was interested to learn about the disease severe combined immunodeficiency. It was interesting to me and also quite sad to learn the lifestyles which people with this disease have to live, being kept in a small space unable to leave without terrible consequences. It’s a sweet and engaging book and I recommend it highly. It felt like I was along the journey with Maddy and I felt hopeful for her. When she met Olly I was happy as Maddy finally had some real excitement and something to keep her occupied and make her happy.

I read this book after my friend read it and I loved it! I really like when I can feel the emotions the characters feel in the books because it makes me feel really connected. With this book I could. The book had ups and downs and I loved reading about a disease I had never heard of before and see what it would be like. Even though I loved the idea of the story, the ending wasn’t very satisfying and it didn’t seem completely realistic to me. I would give this book an eight out of ten and I’d recommend it to someone who wants to read a non stereotypical rommance book.

This book is an amazing read, and I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes romances. It’s about a girl who has a complicated disease, and cannot leave her house. I relate to Maddy a lot in the fact that I love reading as much as she does. It’s so inspirational with how she is stuck in her house and can’t leave it but is so positive regardless. I love the connection that Olly and Maddy have, because it really feels like they are soulmates. I think this book is amazing, and i give it a 10/10. My favourite character is definitely Maddy, as she is such a kind and positive person. I also like Clara, as she is very empathetic and kind. I love this book, although it does deal with more mature themes so probably 14+.

This book is about a young woman who has had the most unfortunate circumstances and just wants a normal life! This book was very unusual and at times a little boring, it made me realize what life would and could be like for someone. This book puts things into perspective and allows us to be grateful for what we have. I liked the book when it was interesting and when there was plot twists and surprises . I think this book was really different than any book I have ever read and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to read something that is a little different and gives an insight into the world and perspective of someone who can’t go outside. I think the audience that this book targets everyone as it is very inspirational and I would rate the book a 8/10.

This is one of my favourite book/movies. It is so sad, yet happy and romantic. The book includes a girl- Maddy who is allergic to almost…everything. She has not left her house for 17 years. Then a boy moved into the house next door. Olly: her possible future partner- he is everything Maddy ever imagined and she wanted. Even though Maddy is only allowed to be around her mum and doctor (Carla) she knows Olly is the one for her and someday they will be together. In the end, Maddy found out her mother had lied all along. Did she end up with the love of her life? If you haven’t already, then you’ll have to read the book/watch the movie to find the answer to that.
I loved this book/movie so much. I recommend to all ages about 12. It is a must read/see 10/10.

Everything everything is about Maddy, an 18 year old girl who is allergic to everything. Her protective mum keeps her isolated inside her bedroom, no school, no friends and a far from normal life. But one day she meets a boy, Olly. She defies her mother and conditions and falls in love with Olly.
The emotions are raw and they make you feel as if you are right there with the characters. You can feel Maddy’s pain, love, longing, hope, regret, happiness and grief as she falls deeper and deeper in love with Olly and with life.
If you enjoy romance you will love this book because it is written so well and the storyline is original and unpredictable.

I was a bit reluctant to read this book at first because it seemed to be just another ‘sick teen’ book, but it really wasn’t. Her quiet life changes when a new family moves in next door. Olly the boy who moved in next door becomes intrigued by Maddy and wants to gain a friendship with her.

This book is beautifully written and is very romantic, The story line keeps people guessing to the very end and the book has a momentous plot twist at the end, which is very exciting and entertaining. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a romantic, easy to read book. I rate this book 9 out of 10 stars.

This is one of my favourite books! It is very emotive and you get a real insight into Maddy’s (the main character) life. I like it a lot better than the movie, which kind of skips over some of the more important details in the book. The book is about a girl called Maddy who suffers from a disease which means she has to stay inside her house as she could get sick if she breathes in any outside air. She meets a boy called Olly when he moves in next door, and it is safe to say she falls for him. The rest will spoil the book, but there is a very shock twist at the end. My favourite part was about the bundt cake (which you will understand if you read it), as it is pretty much the start of Maddy and Olly’s relationship and is what brings them together. Olly would definitely have to be my favourite character, he is just such a sweetheart and always wanted the best for Maddy and understood her situation. I love Maddy’s positivity in her situation too and how she has the courage to try and get out into the world even though she knows it could kill her. I rate this book an 8 out of 10, and would recommend it to anyone who loves a book that keeps you hooked the whole way throughout.

This is a fantastic book. It is written in a creative way, and it always keeps you wanting more. It has a really good message behind it, and I think it is an eye-opener for some people. I was really excited to read this book for Lit Circles and it didn’t disappoint. It is really interesting to follow Maddy’s unique and intriguing story, and see how she copes with everything in her own unique way. My favourite character was Carla, as she was such a caring person, and could really empathise with Maddy and understand her emotions. In times of trouble she was always there for Maddy, and helped her with everything in life. I think this book is amazing, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an interesting, but enjoyable read.

Everything, everything is such an amazing book. I read it in 2 days and I was so surprised by the ending. I won’t spoil anything but I just wanted to say the ending just left me astounded! Olly and Maddy have such a great relationship throughout the movie, and I was so sad when I found out that his dad is abusive. I felt sorry for Maddy throughout parts of the book and Overall it was just a very good read! I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good satisfying read read !

Everything everything is such a good book. I have really enjoyed reading it. It’s about a girl called Maddy and she has SCID, an illness which causes her to never be able to leave her house. She gets homeschooled over the computer, her mum looks after her and the only people allowed to come into her house have to be detoxicated. She lives a pretty boring life, every day like the day before.
And then Olly moves next door. Maddy falls in love instantly. Olly sees her in her window and wants to know her. They communicate through the window and email and Maddy just wants to be with him. It’s such an engaging story and it could be true one for some people who do have SCID. I would recommend this book to people over the age of 13. It is such a good book and puts you into the life of someone else and gives you a perspective of the way other people live. I would rate Everything Everything at 9/10!

The story of a girl, who defies the odds, and proves to herself how she is able to overcome her supposed illness. It is truly inspiring and one which has a very powerful theme, of never to give up. I really enjoyed reading this book and never felt myself uninterested at any stage, especially through there always being a point in the book with a point of drama, whether it be between Madeline and her mother, or with her new neighbour Ollie. Despite her long to go outside and not being allowed to due to her condition, she succeeds in doing so and rebels against her mother. Through Ollie and Maddy, it is shown their love for each other in regards to him respecting her illness and wanting the best for her, but how they are able to work out the reality behind her condition, one which divides her and her mother. I would rate this book a 10/10 as it is one of my favourites and one which never fails to show the strength of humans and their determination allowing for their success and triumph, even when they have the odds stacked against them. The book is quite an easy read and I would recommend it to anyone over the age of 13 or 14, as there is some explicit parts, however none which these young poeple would not be able to cope with.

If I had to sum up this novel into one word, it would have to ‘beautiful’. It is the best read I’ve had in a while. It is a beautiful story about a girl named Madeline who has a rare condition called SID, which means she is basically allergic to the world, and therefore had to spend her life locked away pretty much. Shortly after Madeline’s 18th birthday a new family moves in next door including a wild, yet clever boy called Ollie. Nicola Yoon has really outdone herself when it comes to detail in character. I really love how she has given each character there very own distinct personality. If you are looking for an inspiring, heart-felt read, than you must read everything, everything. There is not much that come better than this book, it’s a 5/5!

Everything everything was an amazing novel as I enjoyed every minuet of it. I read this book for Lit Circles and loved completing activities for it. Maddy is my favourite character as she is so strong when facing all her difficulties throughout her life especially with her ‘sickness’ I was extremely hooked when reading and I felt extremely sorry for Maddy having to stay indoors all the time. I become sick and tied of having the same routine everyday and I was becoming worried that she wouldn’t be happy anymore until she wet Olly. Olly was the best thing that happened to Maddy as he would treat her like a normal teenager and not like a sick girl. The ending of the book made me want to know more, What happens next? i would love to see a second book come out and rate it a 10/10.

This book is one of my favourites and I could read it over and over again.
The main character is Maddy, a teenage girl who has SCID, a disease that means she is basically allergic to the outside world. All her food is regulated, she does online school and she is not allowed to have visitors in the house.
When a new boy moves in next door, a romance begins.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time and the ending is very unexpected. I also loved seeing the movie adaptation of the story and I would recommend both to everyone as a really fun, sometimes sad, story of finding happiness.

I love this book!! It is soul based around romance but also includes themes of trust, family and explores Maddy’s (protagonist) relationships. Similarly to the movie, there is ongoing drama that flourishes into sadness. Maddy has an illness that prevents her from going outside. She forever lives and breathes inside. Maddy has accepted this life, until a boy moves in next door. His intriguing looks and personality causes Maddy to fall for him. It is obvious in several situations that she cares about him so much that she would risk everything for him. Everything. Even her life. This book is written beautifully as it describes every single detail and also allows the audience to witness Maddy’s thoughts. This book is sad, heartbreaking but also makes you feel joy. There was a lot of gasping, crying and laughing. I recommend it to girls 12+ and to those who enjoy romance.

this book is sooo good i loved it so much. it was such a heart warming book to read. i would definitely recommend this book. i rate it 10/10 out of ten. this book made me cry and it has to be one of my favourite books to read i could read 100 times and i wouldn’t get bored. its about a girl called Maddie and she’s allergic to the world and the out side. she sits in her white plain room for so many years not wondering what its like outside and she meets this boy that moves next door and they start to communicate and the ending it soo good but i wont ruin it.

I am very disappointed in this ending; this is the first book I have ever read that has gone downhill at the ending. Maddie used to be a very kind and loving character but for her to go behind her mother’s back is over doing it. My favourite character is Carla because she doesn’t get caught up in all the drama but she is always there for Maddie and always has the perfect thing to say to her to cheer her up. I won’t be reading a book like this again I would rather read a true story as this book was way too mushy for me and I prefer more realistic books which are sad and show me an insight of our history. If I was to rate this book I would rate is a five out of ten because of the above. hopefully this book is for other people!

For Lit circles this year I read Everything Everything, this is my last reflection on my blog.
At the end of the book of the lies came together to form one big reality. The beginning of the book seems like a mile away, I remember turning the first page saying to myself, ‘OK Kaitlyn you WILL stop at where you are meant to and you are NOT to read over at all, under no circumstances.’ Well, long story short I failed. I turned the last page of the book, going NO NO NO NO, it can’t end like this! Well, maybe they forgot the epilogue, did it get ripped out? Maybe this version of the book doesn’t have it. I was highly disappointed when I discovered it was one of those books that just left you on a cliffhanger. Maddy has grown up and learned to stand on her own to feet not leaning to her mother for support. Actually, she bearly needs her mother at all. I feel sorrow for Maddy, living her whole life the way she did. I’m also excited for her to choose her new path and hope she finds a destination, preferably in Hawaii.
9/10, a definite for lit circles next year!

This book was FABULOUS I loved it so much. Defiantly recommend it. I love how different it is to other books. I could really feel the characters emotions. It really hooked me in and it’s now one of my favourite books. It uses the correct language, some books I read aren’t the best at that. She an’t even go outside it made me think about people who actually have this illness somewhere in this world. I rate it a 11/10 It has you hooked till the last word!!!

I LOVED this book!!!! It was absolutely gorgeous. This book held you in suspense until the very end!!! I couldn’t believe that this girl was allergic to everything!!! She couldn’t go outside. she had to stay inside. it restricted what she at, what she wore and who she saw. she wasn’t allowed to go to School!!! I fell in love with her neighbour instantly. He was drop dead gorgeous and was very kind. You will love this book. I cried and laughed. Its such a feel good book. I hope you love it as much as I did!!!!

This was an amazing book. Everything everything is now one of my all time favourites because she has to face many challenges and is able to overcome them. My favourite character is Maddy she has to be resilient and determined to make things better for herself. I also love how she tells the truth where other people might tell a lie. I would defiantly recommend this book for others it’s an amazing book that i would defiantly for others.

This book can definitely go down on my list for best books of all time! When I first got it I thought it would be a cheap copy of the fault in our stars. Boy was I wrong! This is a wonderful story about a girl named Madeline she has a disease that won’t let her leave, her house the new neighbours move in and she almost immediately knows she will fall in love with the boy next door. SUPER HUGE TWIST AT THE END never saw it coming. It was not only funny and smart but it was also surprising and heartbreaking in a way. Any mature tween or teen can read this. Other than that this book changed my live, and is my everything everything. I highly suggest you read it! 10/10 An all time favourite!!

This book made me feel a mix of emotions, both happy as well as sadness to the point I was crying my eyes out. it is about a girl called Maddy who can not leave her house due to a condition she has where she is allergic to all bacteria in the world. She didn’t have any friends because she couldn’t leave her house, until one day when there was a farther and 2 teenagers move in the house next door. Maddy wants to find out more about one of the teenagers, Olly. They start emailing and texting one another on their phones but cannot become physically in contact with each other. They both begin to have feelings for one another and really want to see each other so they secretly begin catching up which could be dangerous to Maddy because of her condition. Maddy feels as though her life is controlled so for the first time in 17 years she leaves the house to be with Olly. I would tell the rest of the story but thats where the big spoils are. My favourite character is Maddy because she doesn’t let anyone else control her, she does what she believes in. I rate this book 10/10 and I recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of romance.

If i’m absolutely honest I don’t really like reading and if I do start reading a book the odds are that I will never finish it but this book was completely different. I read this whole book in 3 hours I could barely take my eyes of the words. I never understood how a book could make someone feel sad, angry or scared but after finishing this book I finally did! Nicola Yoon is an amazing writer and I am definitely interesting in reading more of hers. The relationship between Olly and Madeline is so magical and interesting to read it also makes you sit on the edge of your sit the entire time because you never know what’s gonna happen next. I definitely recommend this book to everyone it is one of a kind!

This was such a good book! I enjoyed reading it so much. I love how it incorporates a today’s age expect into it with social media and interracial relationships. I think it’s just beautiful! read this book in two days, I loved it that much. I think the relationship between Ollie and Maddy is so cute and how he sick with her despite her condition and support all her decisions.
Overall, I rate this a really good read and would highly recommend this to new readers as it is a very easy book to read. It is slightly relatable too.

This book is one of my favourites and I fell in love with it from the very first page. I love this book so much, I think I have read it over five times and can finish it in just a couple of days if I have nothing else to do! I love this book so much because I think it shows something that sounds so fiction, but is really quite possible. I also love the storyline, and I love how the book ends. My favourite character would be Olly because I think he stands up for what is right, but also will help anyone in need. This can be seen when he stands up for his own mother, and when he is willing to help Maddy. I would 100% recommend this book to people from the age of 12-15, and I would rate it a 10/10

I loved reading this book. I only started it as my friend had it, and I was planning on seeing the movie, which I still haven’t got around to watching yet. I read it in a short amount of time, I found it was really addictive, and you just had to keep on reading to find out what happens next.
It is written really well, and stays interesting through the whole book.
It is about this girl, who has been locked away in her house for the majority of her life, because she has been told she is allergic to everything. She has learnt to deal with it, because she knows she can’t change it, but just wishes, she will one day be able to experience life like everyone else.
One day, a boy moves next door, she is interested and they end up texting regularly. After a while is able to meet him, and wants more than ever to go outside. I love what happens in the rest of the book, and you’ll have to read it to find out.
I rate this a 9/10 and recommend is ages 10+ 🙂

This book was amazing… a good read for people who are looking for a Heartwrenching story it really spreads the message about not taking things for granted. Madeline Whittier is a self-described “bubble baby,” which means she suffers from a rare disease called SCID, or severe combined immunodeficiency. She hasn’t left her house in 17 years, and anyone who comes in must go through an airlock and long sanitation process before entering the contaminant-free home. she is allergic to everything hence the name everything everything but then the boy next door comes along and her whole world is changed forever. I definetly recommend the book it truely is amazing and inspiring I believe it shows that you can do anything no matter the obstacles.

This Book is so intriguing and interesting. The story is about this girl named Maddy, who has a lot of limits, she can’t go outside, she can’t breathe the outside air, she can’t make contact with the people and outside. She basically can’t leave her house. She hasn’t left her house in 17 years, until she meets her neighbour Olly. Maddy and Olly fell in love with each other, and after a lot of thought, Maddy decided to go to Hawaii with Olly to see if she was really sick. In Hawaii she had to go to the hospital but once she was there, she discovered that she didn’t have the sickness her mother always said she had. After discovering this and confronting her mother, Maddy moves to a different house, I think it was Clara’s. I definitely recommend this book and also the movie. And a little tip for those who are sensitive, don’t forget to bring tissues!

This book had such an interesting storyline that I would recommend to older readers. Madeline is a girl who has a disease that won’t let her leave her house. But when a boy and his family move in next door, a beautiful romance starts to from between a girl who can’t leave the house and a guy next door. Its quite complex with the storyline but once I kept reading it got easier to follow along. I love romance movies and books so this was a really enjoyable read. I was quite excited when I saw the movie being released but I must say the book was ten times better than the movie so I definitely recommend reading the book. The book also did keep you on edge at times and and has an unexpected twist at the end.

Everything Everything, Nicola Yoon’s first novel which describes the hardship with young love. The author has created characters who play an important role Maddy. Maddy falls in love with her neighbour Olly. The characters have depth and are perfectly written. This book will give teenagers a great appreciation for all they have and may take for granted in life. I rate this book a 9/10.

I knew that by just reading the blurb of this book that I was going to fall in love with it. It is about a young girl, named Maddy, that is so sick that she cannot go outside. She has been inside her house for most of her life, until one day. She notices that new neighbors were moving in next door. There was a mother, a father, a daughter, and a son. The son’s name was Olly. They figure out a way to communicate, and they talk o each other regularly. This cheers Maddy’s dull life up straight away. One day, Maddy’s nurse Carla finds out about their communication, and Maddy realizes that this may be a way to finally meet Olly. They eventually do, and Maddy figures how much she’s missing out on. One day, Maddy’s mother shows her a picture of Maddy in Hawaii. This is where Maddy senses that her mother could be telling a lie. Maddy goes on a big adventure to find out the truth. I would rate this book a 9/10!

I love this book so much, it shows love from a different angle and perspective. Basically the novel centers around 18-year-old Madeline Whittier, who is being treated for severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), she meets a boy who has just moved in next door, they develop a strong bond and fall in love. But unfortunately Maddy can’t leave her house because of he illness, but it doesn’t stop her. One day, Carla sneaks Olly into Maddy’s house, and the two meet for the first time. They meet in Maddy’s house regularly, and at one point Maddy even goes outside for a few seconds. When her mother discovers Maddy has been secretly meeting Olly she fires Carla and bans Maddy from ever seeing Olly again, but they continue secretly texting. I love how the book is written, the blurb sells the book really well short and sweet but to the point. I recommend this book to any teen who loves a good read about teenage love and resilence.

This book can definitely go down on my list for best books of all time! When I first got it I thought it would be a cheap copy of the fault in our stars. Boy was I wrong! this is a wonderful story about a girl named Madeline she has a disease that won’t let her leave her house the new neighbors move in and she almost immediately knows she will fall in love with the boy next door. SUPER HUGE TWIST AT THE END never saw it coming. I rate this a 10/10 defiantly will read this again. It took me the least amount of time to read this book out of every book i have ever read.

This is a great book that I recommend. The young love between Olly and Maddy brings the story together and is what keeps it alive. The author has given Maddy the positivity she needs to live her life. I enjoy the character of Carla because her care for Maddy is sweet. If there is a sequel, I can’t wait to see it. It’s definitely one of the best books I’ve ever read. It was so engaging and written well. I rate it a 9/10 :))

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING!!!!! i read it within 3 days because i could not stop, it left me hanging every page i read which is why i read it so quickly. Eveyrthing everything had the best story line ever and simply amazing. Maddy is allergic to the world and the boy next door, Olly knew that but he didn’t care her was determine to find a way to connect with maddy. The twist in this book was a book i could never imagine, i was ready for something completely different and then bam, it dropped a huge bombshell. Everything everything is a book i suggest every teenage girl that loves romantic books should read this books because it will make u saying awww the more you read on. There is a movie coming out soon and i cannot wait to see it, i cant wait to see it and see how the actors play the characters and if the book has lots of different parts compared to the movie. Everything everything was definitely the best book ive ever read and i suggest everyone to read it!

EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING BY NICOLA YOON is a contemporary novel that follows the life of Madeline as she suffers from a sickness that cannot let her outside (if she did go outside, she would probably die). But when a new family moves next door, she meets Olly and becomes attached. This book was heavy load for me and made me cry several times. The love between Olly and Maddy felt so genuine and understanding. The obstacles that Maddy had to face was a ton load and she is a very strong character for that. She takes risks and all to know what it actually means to live. Some parts of this book seemed really rushed but if I’m judging the overall book then it didn’t really matter because the amazing writing and the character development made up for it. There weren’t many characters that were a main part of the story but my favourite was probably Maddy’s nurse because she felt the empathy towards Maddy that she really needed. This book is great if you want a good cry, a great laugh or if you’re facing a book slump.

This book was amazing to read, this book has expanded by mind and vocabulary. The whole time I have been reading this every page I read each page has kept me on my toes. there are so many questions that run through my head within each chapter. I was more than surprised when Maddy’s mum lied for 17 years, if I was in her position I would probably leave the house, I would be very mad and disappointed that the one person I thought that loved me the most. Which at the start she was so generous and looked like she put her whole life towards Maddy’s. Which I feel terrible that Maddy has wasted her whole life and now after 17 years she finally can go free. But without thinking that Maddy had the disease Olly could’ve given up on Maddy but when he found out she kept wanting to find more.

Wow! I just finished this book and it had me hooked until the last page! This coming-of-age story is beautifully written that is engaging and thoughtful. Teenage romance and illness are incorporated to make a truly heartfelt novel. My favourite character is Carla, the nurse. She understands Maddy and is always finding ways to make her boring life exciting. I recommend this book to people between the ages of 12-25. Especially those who are interested in seeing the movie when it comes out shortly. Rated 9/10 !!!!

This was such a good book! It’s about a girl called Maddy who is allergic to the world and can only stay in her house. She hasn’t left her house in 17 years, until there was this boy Olly, who moved next door. Olly was determined to find a way to reach her, and lets just say he did. Maddy could either live life in a bubble or risk everything for love…. I really enjoyed this book and I was nearly on the edge of my seat. This book is about the crazy risks we take for love, its romantic, sad, and funny. I recommend anyone who likes these types of books, and I think most girls who enjoy love stories will like this. I rate this book a 10/10 its that good!! Probably one of my favourite love stories.

Personally, I really, really really loved this book and how you can easily read the emotions going on. The love, sadness, fear, grief, happiness, acceptance, longing. My favourite character is Maddy because she is so sweet, and she accepts her illness and is still positive. I feel sad and sorry for Maddy because I would hate it to be like a prisoner and be unhappy in your own home without leaving. I am inspired by Maddy’s positivity to be happy everyday despite the hardship. I like how Maddy has a lot of quirks. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. I also love Olly, the boy next door. He is patient with her and helped her feel more free. I can not wait to watch the movie and see at how different it may be. 10/10 would recommend to 13+ girls who love a little romance to read.

Everything, Everything is a fantastic book. It pulls you in from the start and has you wondering what is going to happen next. You really connect with the characters and feel there emotions of sadness, love and grief throughout the movie. Maddy is young girl who is allergic to the world. She never leaves her home and is drowning in loneliness. Until a new neighbour moves in. Olly is determined to help her. This book is very touching and has you feeling the emotions of the characters. My favourite character in Everything, Everything is Clara, Maddy’s full time nurse. She is so kind and understanding towards Clara and helps her achieve her dreams. Everything, Everything is a lovely book and I would recommend it to everyone to read.

This is a book that you won’t want to put down. It tells a story of a girl named Maddy who is allergic to the world. She can’t go out there and nothing can barely touch her. She has to stay in her home at all times with a carer. She does her school work online and does everything normally that we would she just can’t experience things other than in books which are her favourite. Although when a boy moves next to her house things change and she secretly meets him behind her mothers back. It a really good story to read that shares the journey of Maddy and how she can experience new things through Olly the boy next door. Her world has took a turn through Olly and it’s really interesting to see how the author explores her emotions and feelings through these turns. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good book to read! This book can be read from all ages and you won’t want to put the book down. I would give this book a 10/10 because it is truely enjoyable!

This is a great book to read if you like stories that keep you entertained for the whole time. I really loved all the characters and the storyline was also one that kept you guessing what would happen next. I really enjoyed reading this for english and would strongly recommend this for any people who enjoy reading or even people who don’t.

I have been reading this book in Lit Circles and it great. I love how you feel the love, fear, sadness, grief, happiness, acceptance, longing etc with Maddy. I have loved this book so far because it is written in a fun and intriguing way. My favourite character is Maddy (the main character) because she has a loverly heart, she accepts her illness and is still positive. I also like the character Clara (Maddy’s full time nurse) because she is so kind and understanding. I love he way Clara is like a second mother to Maddy. I feel really sad for Maddy because I can only imagine what it must be like to not be able to leave my own house. I think I would feel like a prisoner and become deeply unhappy. I am inspired by Maddy’s positivity to be happy everyday despite the hardship. I like how the author has given Maddy a lot of personality and quirks, like how she love architecture and imagining her self a an astronaut. I love the fact that Maddy adores books and love reading them because we have that in common. I can’t wait to find out what happens next. I would recommend this book to everyone and you will defiantly love it if you enjoy books that have a little romance and give you new perspectives of the world and the way other people live.

This is a great book I definitely recommend it. Its one of my favourites because its written really well and in a smart engaging way. Its about a girl that is allergic to the planet she never leaves home and her mum doesn’t let her. Until she meets a boy. They can only contact each other through the window, he really wants her to come out but she isn’t sure she should. This is a great book I definitely think you should read it.

This book is a fantastic book to read, It’s about a girl that is allergic to every thing and she has to stay in her house every day, she has to get home schooled isn’t allowed to go out side to breath the out side air.
But then she finds a boy next door who she likes and they start e-mailing each other and she just wants to go out side and meet him,they became very good friends and they wanted to meet each other in the out side world. I don’t want to spoil the rest but the ending of the book is so different of what I thought would happen. I could imagine everything when I was reading it’s a great book.
