This is a great book, but at times it can be a little hard to read because it is very long. But I think that if you stay with the story it is a really great book that will teleport you into a different world. Although this was not my favourite book it is still a great read that I would recommend to those over 12 (cause it has violence) who love magic and and fantasy.

  2. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the title of the series’ fifth book. Harry is in the most danger in this book since he has just learnt that Voldemort has made a comeback, as he did in the previous book. The focus of this novel is on Harry and his pals discovering defensive magic for themselves, which makes it incredibly fascinating. Even though this book is the largest in the series and has about 800 pages, the majority of it was intriguing and entertaining to read, despite a few tedious passages. I give this book a 7/10, though, because I adore it.

Wow. This was a really big book to get through but it was definitely worth it! The detail in the descriptions is so good and J.K Rowling is one of my favourite authors. This book was action-packed and I almost loved it more than the Goblet of Fire. Voldemort coming back obviously created a lot of problems so for that reason I think this book was really fun to read and I was sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time I read it. I most definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to read it!

The fifth book in the Harry Potter series is titled Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Harry experiences the most peril in this book because he has recently learned that Voldemort has returned, as he saw in the last book. This book is extremely fascinating because it centres on Harry and his friends learning defensive magic for themselves. Despite the fact that this book is the largest in the series and has almost 800 pages, most of the reading was interesting and enjoyable, although there were a few dull spots. However, I adore this book and give it a 7/10.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the 5th book of the Harry Potter series. this is the book where all the danger in harry’s life feels real as he had just witnessed in the previous book that Voldemort has returned. this book is really exciting because it’s all about Harry and his friends teaching themselves defensive magic. although most of the reading of this book was exciting and very enjoyable there were some points where it felt very long and a little boring as the book is around 800 pages and the biggest in the series. But, I highly recommend this book and rate it a 7/10

  8. I liked Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix because of how much it makes you feel your feelings because of well it is written. My favourite part of the book is when Harry goes on a date with Cho Chang because of how cute Madam Puddifoot’s teashop sounds. My favourite character was Hermione because of how smart she is. I don’t think that I can relate to any of the characters. My least favourite part of the book was when Sirius died because of how sad it was. I would change the fact that Sirius died because of how much it would mean to Harry to have a welcoming home with a decent Father figure. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
    Happy Reading!!!

  9. This book will transport you to a different world, a world of magic and laughter, of fear and violence. This book is amazing! I love the Harry Potter series and have watched and read the books/movies. It really is true in this case the books are so much better than the movies. I loved the storyline of this book but it is very hard to read all of it because it is so long, it is 800 pages and unless you are very persistent it is easy to stop. But still I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. However, I will say that it is essential that you have read the books before this one because there are references that people who haven’t read the previous books wouldn’t understand. (and some of them aren’t even in the movies!). It is full of action, friendship and hardship. Harry Potter’s persistence through the book to kill the dark lord might just inspire you to finish this book!

Although this book is amazingggggg, it is a struggle. Dedication and persistence is needed with this books as it consists of 800 pages. Like many others I know, have read half, had a little break and then read on. If you do do this I recommend reading the past few chapters just to familiarise you.
But as I first said, this book is amazing!! This book is filled with action scenes, although some parts can be a bit boring. You are introduced to many new characters, see different sides of characters you loved and learn dark secrets. This book has tragedy, and contains one of the biggest battles in the Wizarding World history!!!!!!

this book is the 5th in the harry potter series.I love this book so so much, they never get boring or old. In the beginning, Harry still has to deal with his aunt and uncle and foul-mouthing cousin. They are always bringing Harry down and saying awful things about his parents. One day he was at the park and Dudley and his friends had followed him and was messing with him. But then a freezing cold chill came out of nowhere, like all the happiness in the world was gone. Then a Dementor was in Little Whinging st, Harry then had to conjure the Patronus, to drive them away. I loved this part in the book because it made feel like I was witnessing this happen and I felt like I was experiencing this. When I read the part about the dementors entrance I was feeling frozen and but excited. Because I knew what was going to happen but at the same time I didn’t. Another favourite part of this book is how the ministry prohibits magic at school, and this means they will not learn magic. But I love how the students revolt and decide to make Dumbledores Army, and decide, to learn magic in a secret room. Alot of sad on the edge things happen in this book of the series but alot of good comes from it too, my favourite character would have to be Nevil because he is funny as and really brightens up the book when something dull is going on as he is always got Harrys back. i would recommend this book again to ages 10 and over and the book are getting a little more sophisticated but still a great read for those that are confident. overall i would rate this one a 8/10!!

You can really see Harry’s maturation as he has lost all of his innocence in the end of the previous book. Harry’s journey through PTSD and trying to come to terms with Voldemort’s return and the ministry’s ignorance is portrayed really well and his adventures in this book are just as enticing as the others. I really enjoyed getting to see the story progress more and I definitely recommend it to anyone who have read the first four books.

  18. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has to be one of my favourite books of the series. Filled with adventure and magic, just like the other books, this novel is a captivating read. I really enjoyed this book because I felt it provided a lot of answer and started to make things very clear. I absolutely love the order and all its members. It was great to gain a better understanding about all the adults in the books connections and history. I also loved Dumbledore’s Army. It was great to see all my favourite characters band together, against the rules of my least favourite character of the entire series, Professor Umbridge. Overall I would highly recommend this book, but would also recommend reading the other books before it. I found it very difficult to put this book down and would definitely give it a 10/10.

  21. I really enjoyed reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. My favourite part of the movie was when the Weasley twins flew into the room on broomsticks and chased Umbridge out of the room, I thought it was a funny scene and that Umbridge deserved what she got. I also really enjoyed when they went and faced Voldemort. My favourite character in this movie was probably Sirius he was so nice to Harry and I didn’t want him to die. I can’t really relate to any of the characters in the movie but I still loved it. My least favourite part of the movie was when Sirius dies, I felt like it was so unfair on Harry because he finally had somewhere that he could go and live that wasn’t with the Dursleys. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that likes magical and fantasy books or anyone that has read and enjoyed the other books in the series.

I love the fact that they go behind the batty old Umbridge back and start learning defence against the dark arts and preparing themselves for what’s waiting out there for them. It made me cry when they were at the Ministry of Magic and Bellatrix Lestrange and Sirius Black were duelling then Sirius Black dies I swear it was the saddest part of the book. But I still love the books and can’t wait for the rest of the series.

While this is not my favourite of the Harry Potter books, it certainly was enjoyable. Harry is in his fifth year at Hogwarts, and throughout this book we discover more about his own and his parents pasts.
This book is very long, and at times, can feel like it is being dragged out. At times it feels like there is too much to keep track of. Rita Skeeter also returns in this book, and despite it being easy to despise her tendency to annoy, she was a good plot device to cause a stir in all of the characters lives.
Professor Umbridge was introduced in this edition as well, and I do not know a single person who likes the character. Once again, J.K Rowling made some bold, but great choices with the charactization of this ghastly woman. She is easy to dislike, but really makes the book worth reading.
I was rather entertained with this book, and even though I much prefer the other instalments in the series, I’ll give it a 6/10. I would recommend this book to anybody who enjoyed themselves reading the first few Harry Potter books!

I really enjoyed this Harry Potter book as it provided a lot of information through 800 pages and I was so happy with all the things we discovered throughout the corse of the story. My favourite part of this book was getting to see Harrys thoughts and Harry teaching all of his friends defence against the dark arts. This is my favourite book in the harry potter series as it contains a large amount of major information that is useful for the upcoming books. This is also the last time Hogwarts is as normal as it could get considering what was happening at the time. This book would be loved by all Harry Potter fans as it is an amazing addition to the series. My favourite character is Ginny as we finally see that she is not a shy little girl she is stronger then most of the DA members we get to see her true personality come out and it is an amazing read.

This book is incredibly long, but it was definitely worth it! in this book, we can look into Harry’s thoughts more than any other harry potter book, and this is the last book where we can see harry being a normal student at Hogwarts before the final battle occurs. The book is very well written, just like the rest of the series. This book is my favourite out of the whole series. It explains a lot of things that were left unexplained in previous books, and it did a very good job at leaving a lot of things open which are later explained in the final books of the series. We can also see more from characters like Draco, and see that he is not all evil. This is an excellent read!

I have read Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix three times this year because I love it so much. It is the fifth book out of the series of eight funny action filled J.K Rowling novels.

My favourite part would have to be the Ministry of Magic scene where there are plot twists and lots of action between two very powerful wizards, Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore and Tom Marvolo Riddle also known as Lord Voldemort.

My absolute favourite character is Luna Lovegood. She first appears at the start of this book when she meets Harry on their way to school for the start of the year. I love her free spirit, self belief and style choices. I can relate to her wildness as I wasn’t the most sane person at my primary school. I love when Ron tells a joke about Goyle and Luna laughs more than was anticipated and of course we all know the famous quote, ”Don’t worry you’re just as sane as I am.”

This book inspired me to not hide away in the shadows but to try new things. Be yourself no matter what and new friends will gravitate to you and have your back. I would defintely recommend this book to someone who loves action and adventure, plot twists and unpredictable storylines, fantasy and friendship goals.

Oh, my Gosh, this book, wow, just wow, I love this book it is so good, and I love it so much. I love the entire storyline. I love how Harry, Hermione, and Ron all decide to make Dumbledores Army, where they learn the magic spells that you should use if you’re in trouble, they are teaching everyone this because the ministry has decided that the students are not allowed to learn this.I cant choose just one favourite character because they are all so amazing. I can relate to Harry in this book because the ministry thinks his lying about You Know Who being back when he’s not lying. In my case it’s my parents and my siblings thinking I’m lying. I hate completely hate Umbridge and she Punishes Harry for lying when he isn’t, which I think is my least favourite part. I wouldn’t change anything about this book because even though I hate Umbridge and what she does, I still love the book and the storyline. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone but be warned you will hate Umbridge after it. I believe anyone would like this book.

  36. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth book in the series by J.K Rowling. Harry is attending Hogwarts again and is in his fifth year. During this year, Dumbledore leaves the school and Professor Umbridge is reappointed as Headmistress of the school. Umbridge is stern and mean to almost all of the students, especially muggles. While teaching at Hogwarts she made the rule of No Magic Allowed so Harry, Hermione and Ron decide to start an ‘army’ called Dumbledore’s Army, in this group Harry teaches students magic.

The plot for the story quickly escalates and is more thrilling than ever. This story gives you a more precise insight into what the wizarding world is like, with the ministry of magic and jobs and everything. This book has a lot of action and mystery and it all comes together brilliantly.
The characters in the book evolve and you see them become more independent and head strong. As always they are learning new spells and they have their fist proper duel with the Death Eaters, which was very exciting!
The book flows with all the others and you find out more clues and secrets about Harry and Voldemort that will shock you and you might find there could be a few tears!
This book is the best book ever so I rate it 10/10

I love how Harry seems to have grown up and is really understanding the magic world and this is shown through him not asking as many questions about what everything is. I love how it’s a serious book and everyone is serious in it but there is still enough room for it to also be funny. I love the courage that everyone really begins to show and I love the idea of Dumbledore’s Army. Dumbledore’s Army is probably something I would do and I think it was a really great way to bring all the characters together. I love how every little issue still relates to the big issue and every decision comes back to either reward them or haunt them. This book is amazingly flawless. I give this book a 10/10.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the 5th book in the Harry Potter series. I love this book, as it is full of mystery. In the Order of the Phoenix Harry Potter is starting his fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, alongside his 2 best friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. The Ministry of Magic is denying Voldemort’s return to power, and refuses to believe Harry and Professor Dumbledore. They place a particularly nasty woman at Hogwarts called Dolores Umbridge to watch over Harry and Dumbledore and report back to Cornelius Fudge, Minister for Magic. Umbridge is horrible to Harry, and sometimes I feel like I hate her more than Voldemort. She is so sickly sweet it makes me sick. Harry, Ron and Hermione form and organisation they call ‘Dumbledore’s Army’. My favourite characters in the book still stand to be Ron and Hermione! Hermione, because she is so inspirational and clever. Ron, because he is so funny and is so clueless sometimes it’s funny. I am going to be reading this to my brother after we finish the Goblet of Fire (the fourth book). I would recommend this book to 10+, because like the fourth one, it is quite dark. I would rater this book 10 out of 10, okay, it my be sad at times, and in some chapters you want to scream and shout at Dolores Umbridge and Cornelius Fudge, but I can assure you, once you start this book, you won’t be able to put it down.

I really enjoyed reading this book because it never failed to get boring or never allowed me to lose interest. It supplies the reader with constant plot twists and new information to process such as why Dumbledore is ignoring Harry and why Harry is having dreams/visions involving voldemort. Like the previous four books you come to love the characters all over again and develop a hate for professor Umbridge and love the defiance of the students for creating the DA. My favourite part of the book is how Harry finally defeats umbridge which you are hoping for throughout the entire book. My least favourite part of the book is when sirius dies due to he is the last person that resembles his family and he loses him as well. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a bit of adventure in a book and just has a love for Harry Potter!

“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” is not my favourite Harry Potter book or movie. I never understood what was going on in the film or book, or why Harry had grown like an extra 2 feet in one year or why his hair was so short in the movie ;D but aside from that I loved Serius Black. He was so friendly and cool and my brothers loves him too. I saw the movie before I read the book because I could barely remember anything that happened in it, so I started reading the book about a year ago to try and understand it more but it was so long and I couldn’t get through the first few chapters. I so love Harry Potter, though this movie wasn’t one my favourites. I rate this one a 8/10

  50. Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
The Order of the Phenix was a really sad story for me. I falt like Harry didn’t have anyone that he could turn to, except his Godfather Sirius Black who ends up being killed by his cousin Bellatrix Lestrange. I really didn’t like how Dumbledore ignored Harry for the whole year but it did raise may suspicions about why he was doing that and what was the meaning behind it. My favourite part was when Fred and George Weasley make their flight for freedom and set off about 100 fireworks while they are at it. This means that my favourite characters would have to be Fred and George simply because of their funniness and constant trying to annoy Professor Umbridge as much as possible. I would rate this book a 9.5/10 because I especially love the storyline and I believe that most people over the age of 13 would find it funny, scary and witty.

  52. I really enjoyed this book because I liked how it could take you to another place and make you imagine a world of magic and spells. My favourite part of this book is when Harry is training a group of students who call themselves ‘Dumbledore’s Army’. I really enjoyed this part because it made me feel hopeful and I liked hearing about the different kinds of spells and how to cast them. My favourite character in this book would have to be Ron because I think he is funny and really nice, I like how he stands up for Harry even when everyone else thinks he’s a liar. I personally don’t feel as though I can relate to any of the characters in this book but I would love to be able to go to a magical school like Hogwarts. I don’t really have a least favourite part of this book but if I could change one thing I would make harry less angry because it really annoyed me how harry would take all his problems out on the people that are trying to help him. I would definitely recommend this book to others because it takes you to another world and although it is long it is still worth it. I would recommend this book to people that enjoy fantasy and the wonders of magic.

This book was really good!! It wasn’t one of my favourites, but I still enjoyed it a lot. Harry, once again is put into danger from lord Voldemort. You meet lots of new people in this book, who seem important in the end… You meet a secret group called the Order Of The Phenix and it is a group of people, who try to stop Voldemort from rising to his full strength again. It is a very nail biting book and you get hooked just like the rest of the series. I love this book along with the rest 🙂
I rate it 8/10 and for 8+ Because it can be a bit hard to understand. 🙂

This is the fifth book of the “Harry Potter” series and is very good. At first I was unsure about the Harry Potter books because I have seen people with them and I thought they would be way too big and really boring, but of course I was very wrong because I am now absolutely in loooove with the Harry Potter series and cannot believe I ever thought they would be boring. My favourite character is Luna because she is very quirky and out there. I would recommend this book to boys or girls 12 and up. 😀

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth book in this thrilling series. All the Harry Potter books are great but this book is one of the best. I love the adventure of the book as it is not just set in Hogwarts. It opens you to a whole new bunch of people and a part of the castle that we have never heard about. I found Professor Dolores Umbridge mean and annoying. Professor Umbridge begins to set a new set of rules, taking charge of the school. My favourite part is when they have the DA meetings in the room of requirement. JK Rowling describes these meetings very well and it is very magical. I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys the Harry Potter series and of course fantasy. This book is amazing!

This is my favourite Harry Potter book, mainly because of the characters. With Luna being introduced and Ginny having a lot to do with the book, the other characters act differently and speak differently. Hermione and Luna are constantly arguing over what’s real and what isn’t and Cho and Harry always have something going on. My favourite parts are the parts that involve Dumbledore’s Army, because the characters are really funny in those scenes in the book. McGonagall’s attitude towards Umbridge is really different to her attitude in the previous books, as she isn’t stern, but a little more funny. The characters in this book make it definitely worth reading.

My favourite character is loona, she is so … well weird and interesting!! I cant relate to any of the people in the story because they are wizards, hahaha. I recommend this book to absolutely anybody and rate it a 10/10 🙂 🙂

Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix is the fifth book in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. This book is fantastic because I think that the book is really interesting and you never know what will happen next! It would be one of my favourite book is the series when I read it. It was so hard to put down! I loved it. My favourite part in the book by far is when Dumbledore and Voldemort have a huge battle at the very end of the book. My favourite character in the book would be Luna Lovegood because she is really funny and she does not care what people think or say about her. My least favourite character in the book would be Dolores Umbridge because she looks like she would be a nice character but really she is a very mean one. This book is thrilling and interesting because you never know what will happen next. I would recommend this book ages 10 + because the book is really long and it takes a while to read. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone who loves the Harry Potter books. Also you should read the books before watching the movie and to read the books in order because if you do not then you will not know what has happened. Read this great book.

This is one of my all time favourite book and its not hard to see why, I love the part when there in the department of of Mysteries J.K Rowling describes it so well and its so intense and exciting just reading it. My favourite character is Sirius, he is so kind and such a loving man, i really feel the connection between him and Harry and how special he is to harry. I felt like Harry had finally grown up in this movie, not that he was immature in the others just that this war between voldermort had now gotten serious. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone Harry Potter is an all time favourite and always will be.

This has to be my all time favourite book!
This is definitely the best Harry Potter book, no doubts about it!
This book is about Harry’s struggle with finding and accepting who he is in the wizarding world, and when Cornelius decides to step in and place Dolores ‘Senior Undersecretary to the Minister’ Umbridge in Hogwarts to make sure everything is running as the ministry wants it, Harry finds himself under a lot of pressure and having a lot of expectations weighing down on him.
While Umbridge is wreaking havoc in and around the school grounds by putting new rules in place, Harry is making it his business to break as many as possible, mainly by running the ‘D.A’, Dumbledore’s Army, right under Umbridge’s nose.
Here he teaches other young witches and wizards Defence against the Dark Arts, as Umbridge has destroyed this subject in school.
This is a hugely thrilling book, with little twists and turns everywhere that you won’t expect!
    READ THIS BOOOOOOOOOK!

I found this book quiet easy to read it never got boring and had great twists to it. My favourite character in it is Hermine because she has to put up with both of the boys. The ministry of magic try and take over Hogwarts but behind there backs harry starts Dumbledores army and teaches the students magic. I really did not like the girl who took over from Dumbledore and became in charge of the school, thats why my favourite part is were they go into the woods and the horse people take her away. I think Harry,Ron and Hermine make a great team and i love all the books so much.

Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix is the fifth book in the infamous Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. This book revolves around the Ministry of Magic’s attempted infiltration of Hogwarts after Dumbledore’s claims of Voldemort’s return to power are dismissed by Cornelius Fudge; the Minister for Magic. This book also focuses on the Ministry’s change of heart as they begin to turn the wizarding world against Harry and Dumbledore using the Daily Prophet. There are many secrets and events at the end of the book that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and anxiously reading to find out what happens next. This book shows Harry for the first time as a real leader, a fearless person who his friends and peers look up to. I loved this book and would recommend it to everyone!

Harry Potter and the order of the Pheonix is a fantastic book. Harry has a tough year trying to do well at school get good grades and deal with the stress of Voldermort coming back. After an attack on Harry by dementors he has been accused of using magic outside of school. He has to deal with the new defence against the dark arts and try to get everyone to learn defensive skills. The fifth book of the magnificent series Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix sums up some mysteries of the books so far but sets new ones that will yet be resolved. A master piece in it’s own way I would recommened this book to anyone who wants to read a long series or is looking to see what happens next in the Harry Potter books.

  70. This is the fifth book in the Harry Potter series by J.K.Rowling. I believe that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is not the best book in the series, but still a great book. It has sad times, funny times and, like all Harry Potter books, scary times. It is a great read for those who enjoy dramatic books, action and fantasy. Although it is not J.K.Rowling’s best novel, but certainly makes you intrigued and leaves you wishing that Harry Potter is real! I give it 4/5 because, unfortunately, it just wasn’t the best book ever, but nevertheless, a great book 😉

  71. This is one of my favourite books in the series because of all the action and humour. My favourite part was when Harry wins the cup because he had the hardest task with the dragon and had other complications with the other tasks that had to be completed. My favourite character is Harry because in this book/film he has to be able to adapt to the older people that he’s against and has harder challenges. The least favourite part was when Cedric dies because it’s sad and that’s one of the things i would change i would make that Cedric survives, and I would also change that Hermione and Ron went together not the ball instead of Victor. I would recommend this and people who love action/drama and humour would like this book a lot.

It was an Awesome book. I liked it because it was different to all the other books. And it was soooooo good I couldn’t change it one bit. Harry would have to be my favourite and sorry but I can’t really relate to him at all. I would give this book a 50 out of 50 and I would recommend this to 12 to 50 year olds. And I loved all of the “Order” and think that it was cleverly made!!!!!!!!!!!!!
