The blog for books and movies

Captured by a giant! The BFG is no ordinary bone-crunching giant. He is far too nice and jumbly. It’s lucky for Sophie that he is. Had she been carried off in the middle of the night by the Bloodbottler, the Fleshlumpeater, the Bonecruncher, or any of the other giants-rather than the BFG-she would have soon become breakfast.

When Sophie hears that they are flush-bunking off in England to swollomp a few nice little chiddlers, she decides she must stop them once and for all. And the BFG is going to help her!

  1. The BFG by Roald Dahl is a heart wrenching but adventurous story of Sophie as she goes through twists and turns. The BFG is so unpredictable which is what makes this story so great. Then watching the movie is also great because it shows the raw emotion in the story and you finally get to see what you have been reading. I recommend this book and movie ANYDAY!!!!

  2. Hey if you don’t like this book you might as well get eaten or should I say gobbled up by one of those giants!!
Man this book was amazing even though it took me about a month to finish. You should really check it out if you haven’t already, The story is wonderful and filled with amazing events, etc. This book may not be a big part of your life but it surly will be a small piece of your life. One thing for sure if you have already read this book you will probably remember this for your entire life even if you have amnesia you will still probably remember this book. Point is this book is cool you should definitely check it out for yourself if you haven’t already.
