i loved this film as it is a classic that gives you jump scares every time even if you know what is about to happen. Steven spielberg is my all time favourite producers as he has made some of the best movies to date, and i great at leaving things suspenseful.
The movie was also great for its time as it just looked so real and was fun and suspenseful to watch.
i would give this a 9/10 as it is funny and cool but also leaves you wondering.

The movie Gremlins is a mixture of science fiction and mystery. At the start of the movie there are these cute little furry creatures but there are rules that must be followed or else things beginning to happen to the gremlins. One of the rules is not to feed them after midnight, this rule is overlooked and there is just mayhem. Don’t watch if you get scared because I was sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what happens next in this movie, when I first saw it.

This movie is really creepy! When I was little I used to get scared of the evil ones. The first gremlin is SO CUTE! The movie is about this guy getting his 18 year old son a grimlin for his birthday but the kid didn’t listen to what he couldn’t do with the grimlin like:
not allowed to eat after midnight
can’t get water on him and not allowed it in sunlight. I would recommend this 9 and up I think if any younger would get them scared. My favourite part of the movie is when the nice grimlin pulls up the window and makes the evil one die, I like this part because he is so cute and funny when he does it. I rate this movie 8/10 🙂

The movie Gremlins is my favorite movie. My favorite part of the movie is when the gremlin changes in an evil gremlin. They are very cute at the start but when they ate and turned evil they were very ugly. The movie has humor and horror in it and there my favorite categories. I recommend this movie to the ages of 8 and above the reason why i chose this age was because if it was any younger they might get scared and have nightmares. I rate this movie a 9 out of 10.

  5. The first time I watched this movie, I had a nightmare that night. I watched it at a sleepover party, late at night. All the girls got scarred so we had to turn it off mid way and ended up watching the rest in the morning. To be honest, I really didn’t enjoy watching the movie too much because the ‘gremlins’ looked really creepy and the quality of the dvd we had wasn’t too great. I was scarred for most of the time while watching it, so I don’t really have a favourite part of the movie. My favourite character would have to be the ‘gremlins’ BEFORE they turned into scary things. Despite all of this I still would recommend this movie to other people. Personally, I give it a 5/10.

  6. This film is amazing. It had the perfect amount of both horror and humour, and the gremlin puppets were very realistic. Very high quality for the time it was made. It’s strange though, that they start out so cute and become such a contrast once they multiply and eat after midnight…
Stephen Spielberg is one of my favourite directors. I think it’s great that such a brilliant tale by Roald Dahl was brought to life.
