  1. One of the best movies of the year!! I love this film, it is able to bring in ideas of comedy and ideas of a love story into one film. The movie goes into the ideas of the “crazy” rich Asians in Singapore all gathering together for the wedding of the year. This movie is so fun to watch but also is able to give people that haven’t really seen this culture an idea of how wealthy people can be. I think is one of my favourite movies of the year. The cast is incredible and I can see myself watching this movie so much. Definitely recommend this film for everyone.

This is a really great movie with one of the BEST wedding scenes I’ve ever seen. The movie looks at the pressure of wanting to please your family but also doing what your heart truly desires. Nick Young takes his girlfriend Rachel back to Singapore where his family lives however she is shaken up when she realises how rich they are. This is a movie involving romance, humour, family and more, would definitely recommend watching it.

Crazy Rich Asians is a really great movie, if you are into drama, romance and comedy. It is a perfect movie to watch with your family. This movie really shows you that money doesn’t define who you are, just like ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover’. It is about a man and a woman who fall in love, and she is finally meeting his family, although, she doesn’t realise that they are crazy rich! The story line s brilliant, and has a lot of meaning behind it. 10/10, please watch if you haven’t already!

  5. Crazy Rich Asians is a new spin on a rom-com, and I love it! It has all the good parts of a rom-com with a new twist that makes it a definite watch!! The main character, Rachel, is in love with her boyfriend Nick for purely his personality and has no idea he is secretly from a very wealthy family in Singapore. She finds out when they travel there for the wedding of Nick’s best friend, and so begins the struggle of jealously and expectation Rachel is suddenly thrown into. My favourite scene was the wedding, because I loved seeing the beautiful landscape of Singapore and the lavish luxury of it. My favourite character is Rachel, because unlike a lot of the other women she loves Nick for who he is and not for his money, as well as her strength in sticking to her character despite the pressure to conform to the rich family lifestyle. I would not change anything in this movie, because I loved the characters and how they developed, the setting, the plot and the ending too! I recommend it to anyone who loves a romantic comedy or just a comedy in general, and I would rate it a 10/10.

  6. crazy rich Asians is my favorite movie I have ever watched! it is a really great movie to watch with your family and it is full of comedy and drama. A lot of the scenes in this movie were really amazing to watch, especially the buildings and the city of Singapore. my favorite character is Rachel because she is so sweet and kind to everyone. I love the storyline of how Nick’s family does not accept Rachel even though Nick is completely in love with her! You will have to watch this movie to find out whether Nick’s family ends up accepting Rachel or if they reject and forbid Nick to be with her. In conclusion, I would recommend anyone over the age of 12 to watch this movie for a bit of a laugh, but to also feel compassion for some of the characters! I would rate this movie a 10/10.

Crazy Rich asians is a fun light hearted movie with underlying themes of asian culture and romance. The movie has many hilarious moments, yet some very sad and tear jerking ones too. The movies follows a couple visiting Singapore to visit family for a wedding, only to find out that the man is from one of the richest families in Singapore!
The story line was fantastic and heart wrenching as well as the character development. This movie also has themes of feminism.
I would rate Crazy Rich Asians an 8 out of ten, and i would recommend it to thirteen year olds and above.

  9. Crazy Rich Asians is one of my favourite movies ever. It’s a mixture of drama, comedy, and romance and the director of it made it really entertaining to watch, and I loved it. It’s about a girl called Rachel who is a teacher, and is dating a guy called Nick, and they live in New York City. Not much is shown about Nick’s family at the start of the movie, as he is trying to keep it private. However, his family is not kept private for that long into the movie as he is required to travel to a wedding in Singapore, and Rachel starts getting suspicious as they fly in First Class on the plane. She then finds out that Nick’s family is incredibly famous in Singapore, and that she is way in over her head meeting such an upperclass family, as her only family is her mother, who is not the wealthiest of people. My favourite character is Rachel, as she is an incredibly strong and independent person who doesn’t see people for their wealth, but more for their personality and quality as a person. I won’t spoil the rest, but I definitely recommend it to anyone above 13, and I’d rate it 10/10.

  10. I would certainly recommend the movie ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ to anyone who wants to see a great rom-com and have a laugh at the same time! Crazy Rich Asians is a movie full of hilarious characters, beautiful scenery, and an amazing plot and storyline. This movie is also heartwarming and has an amazing and significant moral. It also dives into Asian culture and tradition, which for me was very interesting as I am definitely not an expert on this topic. My favourite part of this movie was the scene where Nick proposed to Rachel on the plane, as this was a very heartwarming and hopeful scene. Also, my favourite character would be Rachel, as I think that she is very inspirational and strong. I would certainly rate this movie a 10/10 and would recommend it to people aged 11+.

  11. This movie is a very funny and heartwarming movie that make you feel everything from happy and sad to confusion and cringe! This is a movie about a couple who go back to Nick’s family and Rachel isn’t accepted by the family as they are a very high end family with lots of connections. It is very interesting to watch the relationships that Nick has with his family and friends and how they think of Rachel. It is very funny and worth a watch if you want a good laugh that makes you happy in the end. I would recommend this to people aged 13-30 as it is a new and modern movie that I think most people would like.

  13. Crazy Rich Asians is a great romance movie with some great comedy scenes in it. Nick and Rachael go to Singapore for a huge wedding. This is the first time Rachael will meet Nicks parents, although she doesn’t realise that they’re crazy rich! People judge her and don’t think she’s good enough for the wealthy, successful and handsome Nick but she proves them wrong and stands up for herself. I love this movie a lot and would love to watch it again. Nick is my favourite character as he doesn’t brag about his wealth and is very loyal to Rachael and really stands up for her and is understanding. I love at Collins wedding when Nick and Rachael look at each other from across the venue and say ‘I love you.’ It’s very cute and romantic. I love this whole movie and would recommend it to anyone 12+ or who loves a cute romance movie with dome comedy involved. I would rate it 8.5/10!

This movie was filled to the brim with drama and comedy. My favourite part about the movie was how everything was so over exaggerated and all the drama was really dramatised and emphasised. It showed that money doesn’t define you and you don’t have to change yourself for others. I couldn’t believe it when the grandmother turned on her too at the wedding reception. I loved it when she bet the mother at the end in the traditional game they played and taught her that she can make her son happy without being rich and wealthy. I recommend this movie to an older audience and rate it 10/10.

Some of the scenery in the movie is amazing and really makes me want to go to Singapore. It was also cool to see all of the cars and houses and extravagant things that the movie had in it. The story line was great as well as the character development, the girls in the movie was being judged because she was powerful or rich enough, but she stood up for herself in the end. I would rate this movie 4.5/5 starts, and recommend it for anyone over 13.
