Now that scarlet is back and the awful Mrs Fox is gone they can start to relax right??? Suddenly stuff starts to go missing and everyone is blaming it on scarlet because it sounds like something she would do right? But it is not her so of cause Scarlet and Ivy go and prove that she is innocent. The new headmaster is pretty strict and a bit suspicious but they have no evidence so they keep looking As they are searching for the answers and more suspects they discover some shocking news about redwood. This book is a nail bittier like every other one in the series. I recommend this 8/10 and for ages 10+

Thankfully evil Miss Fox has left, although now old Mr Bartholomew is back in charge. Scarlet and Ivy find him suspicious, but they can’t prove anything, can they? Suddenly food, clothes and other possessions have gone amiss, and everyone is suspicious of Scarlet. As Scarlet and Ivy try to prove Scarlet’s innocence they uncover old secrets of Rookwood, an atrocious crime committed years ago, a threat to their lives.
    BUT WHAT CAN THEY DO???

I really enjoyed this book because of the twists and turns in the tale, and because of how Scarlet and Ivy always believe in each other.

  3. The second book of Scarlet and Ivy has followed on from the first where there is a happy twist with Scarlet and Ivy together again. However there’s a new headmaster at rookwood and he seems to be strict on punishments. Scarlet and Ivy are there to see if there is any secrets lurking around with the new headmaster, but there has been one in the past, found from the whispers in the walls. One of the best parts of the book, is when it leads up to Scarlet and Ivy solving the clues, leading to the mystery that no one knows about yet. The author Sophie Cleverly has created the book in a way, where she has used evidence from what has and had happened in the book, to be able to solve the unknown secrets.
