Inside out is an Amazing movie! It is filled with laughs and is a great family friendly, emotional and heart warming story. The story follows Riley, a young girl going through some difficult times that is relatable to many people. During this movie Joy, Fear, Disgust, Anger and Sadness (Riley’s Emotions) try to help her cope with during her struggles in some interesting ways. With many funny and charming characters, this movie is great to watch with friends, family and especially young kids. I recommend this movie to everyone and I give it 6.5/10

  2. I really like this movie as it’s a fantastic storyline. The movie is very worth while to watch as you can take some very good lessons from the movie. It stars young rileys 5 different feelings including: sad, joy, angry, fear and disgust. My favourite part of the movie is learning all about how certain feelings change certain moments in our life and how that can slowly change over time. My favourite character was joy as she never lost faith in riley. I can relate to sadness sometimes as it makes me a bit lazy and clumsy. My least favourite part is when she loses some over her memories, it’s sad. I would change some of the feelings e.g disgust into love. I would recommend this book to many others as it’s really powerful to watch. Any person can watch this movie as it accommodates everyone.

  3. This is my all-time favourite Pixar movie, without a doubt. I love the idea that our mind is filled with different emotions as people controlling what we feel using a control board. The storyline is well thought out and not only shows the struggle Riley is going through but also the struggles that the emotions feel, trying to compete with each other to be the dominant emotion. I absolutely loved the ending and it has to be my favourite part of the movie. To see the emotions coming together and sharing their emotions for each memory shows that teamwork is necessary for a functioning community. My favourite character is Sadness because all she wants is to be recognised but her actions don’t reflect her best intentions to the other emotions. Throughout the movie, we see her grow as a character with the help of Joy and in the end, they help each other. I would recommend this movie to everyone I know regardless of age because it is a fantastic movie and everyone will enjoy it. Overall, I rate this movie a 10/10 because whilst it is one of my favourite movies, it shows the relatable growth and development that everyone goes through and it is very enjoyable to watch.

  4. Inside Out takes place inside the mind of 11 year old girl named Riley along with her emotions; Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust. Even though the movie will most likely make you cry at the end, there are many positive messages and role models that really made the movie a must see. It is relatable for everyone because all people would have experienced all the emotions in this movie and even some the scenarios that joy seems to find herself in. Inside Out is a wonderful emotional film that the whole family will love to watch on a good family movie night.

A very creative movie playing on the idea that our decisions and emotions are controlled by characters that take on personalities of certain emotions for example, the character Joy is very light hearted, happy and joyful all the time and wants to make it’s host happy. Each emotion overrides other emotions when a situation provokes them and can cause for memories to be made that make the host feel that certain emotion. This becomes an issue throughout the film as sadness changes some core memories to be sad memories and the suspense follows. I recommend this movie to an audience of a much younger age like 4-20 years of age because it is made for a much younger demographic.

An 11 year old girl has many different emotions when moving away from her house and making new friends even moving to a new school. It is funny to see how it is controlled by the little people inside her mind, and how everything works. You go on such an adventure when watching this movie.

I have watched it multiple times and I’m still not sick of it. I would recommend this film to people of all ages, who like fun and light movies. This movie makes so much sense to me and why I am so moody. I never really thought about this concept of emotions overruling and deciding how things make you feel and having the ability to control how you feel but this movie honestly made me question that theory. I loved the animation itself. It was absolutely adorable and imaginative. I loved the bright colours used to display how they imagined this concept to come to life and illustrate that for the audience. The movies storyline dealt with real life and for some people relatable situations and for someone who hasn’t had to experience moving away from friends and family I found it heart breaking. I rate this movie 8/10 because I just didn’t find it all that engaging but nevertheless still enjoyed it.

This movie is amazing because it’s a good entertainment for the kids but also explores depression through a young teen named Riley. As she goes through depression the emotions in her mind of Joy, Disgust, Fear, Anger and Sadness try to make things better and fix her problems. It’s a true story of growing up as Riley realises that nothing is perfect and every good experience will come with sadness or anger although being a happy memory. Inside Out is very educational whilst being entertaining for the kids. My favourite character would be Riley of course as she is the main character and you get really attached to her because she is going through such a tough time. The movie ends up to be a happy ending so it isn’t all depressing throughout the movie. I would recommend this as a great family and children movie but it’s also fantastic for all ages. I would rate it a 10/10 for a kids movie.

  28. This movie is one that opens the doors of deep and meaningful conversations. While a children’s movie it puts a whole other perspective on life and the way things work. Inside out is a super cute disney flick that the whole family will enjoy! The coming of age film shows a young teenage girl, Riley, moving to a new area which means a new school and a new house. Everything is unfamiliar to Riley and the emotions in her head (who are represented as physical characters in her head; Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust) who try to save her childhood memories and help Riley stay true to herself. The movie highlights how complex the mind and behaviours are and really opens up your eyes to things. I would recommend this movie to all ages, defiantly give it a watch!
