The blog for books and movies

I really enjoyed the book, Alice Miranda at sea. The Alice Miranda series are all mystery but this is one of my favourite books ever. I have read it about 10 times and my brother is reading it at this very moment. Alice – Miranda is off at sea at her aunt Charlotte’s and soon to be Uncle Lawrence’s wedding. This was supposed to be a nice relaxing holiday but Alice Miranda seems to take mysteries wherever she goes, this mystery is different. It puts the lives of all the kids in danger, will the Alice Miranda series end when she discovers the culprits of a terrible robbery and the point a gun at her head? will a girl of only 7 years of age be able to survive injuries and robbers and be able to still enjoy the wedding? I would recommend this book to 9+ girls of course boys can read it too but I think this is a bit more of a girly book. I rate this book 10/10. You may find it a bit hard to get into but stick with it because before you know it you will not be able to put it down.

Good Reads

  1. If you wanted a good, happy and funny book you should definitely read laugh your head off again. This is a book with mini stories in it that just make you laugh, some of the stories are ridiculous but that is what makes it funny. This is a really easy read that won’t take you very long to read, I would recommend this for 7+ because both of my brothers have read it and they are around that age. This is just a bunch of funny stories that if you are feeling down can just read one of them and already feel happier. One of my favourite stories is ‘a mischievous monkey’ It is about a monkey that a family has adopted and to the parents it is a son but to the kids it is a brother, it is completely apart of the family but it keeps looking for trouble. When the aunt comes over for lunch will they be able to keep the monkey out of trouble? Hmmm I’m not sure, it is a mischievous monkey after all! Read the book to find out what happens next. Lots of funny stories + more funny stories = one hilarious book!
