  1. Love Simon is a story about a young boy who had a really good life, but had one big secret that he had never told anyone. He was gay. He had so many friends and family, but never had the guts to tell anyone. He was worried people would judge him, and be disappointed in him if he told them. Until he met a man online, who changed his life and helped him come out to everyone. defiantly one of my favourite books/movies ever. It helped me to understand that some people go through hard times, but if they have people around them that can support them, they are able to get threw it. It opened my eyes to the fact that some people don’t feel like they are able to tell people anything because they are worried of being judged and I think this is so sad. I would defiantly recommend this movie to anyone wanting a cry. And I would rate it a 9 out of 10.

  3. I recently watched Love Simon and I really enjoyed it. It showed awareness for people who are gay or the LGBT+ community. Simon was gay but he didn’t want to share it as he was scared people would judge him. Someone anonymously online also expresses they were gay too and doesn’t want to tell anyone. Simon tells him, that he’s also gay and they kind of confide in each other and this makes Simon feel better about his sexuality and more relived and eager to find someone. I think this movie is great as it shows people how hard it can be to be gay and be ‘different’ from everyone else. I think it’s also good for teenagers to watch as it shows that you can’t tell some people are gay and sometimes you need to watch what you’re saying as it could offend people. I would recommend this to anyone who is over the age of 12 or any teenagers. I would rate this movie a 7/10.

I really enjoyed watching the movie “Love Simon” because it was a really good movie. It was based about a boy who comes out about being gay and I feel like this relates a lot to people who are or know some who is gay. It was also very funny and showed some different perspectives to life and is a heart-warming movie. I would highly recommend this movie to see, it is a great movie to watch with the family and could help you understand someone else’s point of view.

  5. This is one of my favourite movies I’ve ever watched. such a beautiful story of first love and highlights the importance of LGBT+ community love. Love, Simon is filled with humor-in its characters, dialogue, and situations-but it doesn’t sacrifice emotional depth. The two work in tandem.
    I rate this film a 10/10

  7. This is one of the most beautiful movies I have ever watched. Words cannot even describe how heart touching and meaningful movie ever created. It was one of the only movies to ever make me cry. I don’t know if it’s because I have a gay uncle and felt sorry for everything that he and other had to go through. The film was very eye opening, as it showed how so many people feel and all of the emotion they have to go through trying to come out. It shows us the pain so many people experience, and the thought that someone I probably know is going through that right now is heart breaking.
I would recommend this book to people 10+, as they should all be aware of this issue. And because some of them may experience it, and feel the same things as Simon. So I recommend everyone of 10 plus to watch it as it is an amazing film that will touch so many hearts!
I love this movie so much and hope that more movies like this come out showing everyone the issues that we have in todays society. Hoping that it will open eyes so that we can do something about it and change our society for the better.

  8. This movie follows Simon, a regular high school student. Except for the fact that no one knows he is gay. He starts an email chain with an anonymous boy whose identity the audience try to guess throughout the whole movie.
The movie deals with the challenges of finding love, blackmail and trust issues and it is really beautiful.
The characters in the movie are all very well thought out and their development is really good.
I loved this movie and the ending was amazing, I loved seeing all the characters happy. It was very feel good and I definitely recommend it for everyone to watch

  9. This is an amazing movie! Love Simon is definitely one of the most extraordinary movies I have ever seen as it’s sort of like a Wonder movie type of concept as it talks about an issue of a boy called Simon trying to come out. One day he goes on a school blog and he sees a boy called blue who has put a message on the blog that says he’s gay. Simon curious about who he is texts back. Simon starts texting blue and talking about how hard it is to be a gay kid. And as the boys are texting he actually starts to fall in love with blue but love isn’t that easy. An annoying boy at school sees the e-mails that Simon has sent to blue and blackmails him into talking him up to one of his new friends. After that doesn’t work and Simons friends just aren’t into him. He tells the entire school on a blog that Simon is gay. This movie is heartwarming and definitely inspiring to everyone, not to the scared of coming out. I would definitely recommend this movie to everyone.

  10. I loved this movie because it showed equality for all no matter what. I also found it very emotional when he told his mum and Dad his big secret but how one persons support really made it a lot easier to reveal. I also loved how the romantic part of the story was all a mystery until the very end and left you wondering the whole time. Over all i loved this movie and would definitely recommend it to you.

  11. This movie left me in tears. It’s about a 17 year old boy named Simon. Life is great for him except the fact that he has one big secret. He’s gay. This movie shows us what life is like from Simons perspective and I feel like I’m in his shoes. He has been gay since he was 13 but he was too scared to come out to his friend sand family. This movie has really told me what lots of gay people have to face and the fear of coming out. This movie was a heart felt emotional rollercoaster and I defiantly recommend you watch it.

  12. My favourite part of the movie was the part when he told his friends he was gay, because it was very hard for him to come because he thought he was gay since he was 13 years old.
My favourite character would be Simon who is the character who is gay, he is very brave because he came out and he had to deal with everyone who didn’t approve.
I would recommend this book to teen-ages and adults, because younger kids probably wouldn’t understand.
A type of person I would recommend this movie for is probably someone who likes romance because it’s is all about a boy coming out that he is gay and he finds his love.

  13. Love Simon is a tender and genuine story about first love from the perspective of a gay teenager. The movie communicates just how difficult it is to come out, even within a loving family and circle of friends. This is a love story that takes place in high school (the best years of most people’s lives). It’s real, it’s honest, it’s funny, and it evokes all kinds of emotions from love, anger, disappointment, fear, happiness, and contentment. It’s teenagers, so yes, they swear (only a couple of times) and they mildly talk about things that teenagers do. There’s nothing in this movie that I didn’t hear, see, or know about by the time I was in the 2nd grade. This movie made me cry multiple times because it was heartwarming and inspiring. This film needs to be taught to everyone. Many great messages and lessons for kids to learn. Its a must see due to it great actors, emotional, funny, heartwarming story. Please take you tweens and you to see this movie. I plan to see it again. I highly recommend going to see this movie with friends and family! It’s uplifting, has totally relatable characters, and will leave you both smiling and feeling inspired when you walk out of the movie theatre. What are you waiting for? WATCH THE MOVIE!!
