Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them starts off with a bang (literally). Then it cuts to a scene where the main character (Newt) is sitting on a bench talking to his suitcase. Newt Scamander has a secret in his suitcase which very few know of. He travels around the world on one main mission. The movie is a prequel to the Harry Potter series, back when Dumbledore was young. Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them has adventure, action and a sprinkle of romance. This movie is amazing! Written by J.K Rowling, it’s set in NY in the 1920s. Each character has their own personality which matches what they wear and how they act. Jacob, sweet and some would say brave. Newt, gentle and shy. Tina, brave and commited. Queenie, sweet and caring. 10/10 recomend.
This movie is about Newt Scamander who is a British wizard and a Magizoologist, who collects beasts in his case. But one day these beasts get released into the muggle world and deck havoc. He travels to America in search of his beasts and runs into some friends who help him along the way. The antagonist in this series is Grindelwald who is a long enemy of Dumbledore, who many people would know from the Harry Potter series. My favourite character is Jacob, who is a muggle that Newt befriends in his adventures. Jacob is a very funny and lighthearted guy, his view on life is very optimistic. As he hasn’t seen any of the wizarding world he has hilarious reactions to all of the things going on in this world he didn’t notice. The shots and everything about this movie is beautiful. I would recommend this movie to anyone who loved the Harry Potter series and action/adventure movies.
I recommend everyone go see the movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It was an amazing new setting, set in the 1920’s New York City, with fantastic visuals, and ‘fantastic beasts’. The creatures were so cute and adorable, with their own unique personalities. It gives us the magic of Harry Potter’s world, but a new story, and a new beginning of an amazing franchise. Although, I do admit, it does not compare with the original story of Harry Potter, however it still harbours the amazing world and mystique that Harry Potter’s setting holds.
