I really recommend The Fault in Our Stars. If you have read They Both Die at the End, Five Feet Apart or anything like this, you would love the Fault in our Stars. It was inspiring because it illustrated that even if you know you’re dying, you should try to make the most of the time you have. That you should constantly attempt to make the most of each day. Every day should be lived as though it were the last. My favourite character was Hazel, the main character. I just lover her personality and development as a person throughout the book. Overall, I rate this book a 9/10 and recommend it to people 12+

The movie and the book are synonymous, which I love. It’s an emotional account of two people who fall in love despite their many obstacles. It includes a few mature scenes and deals with the harsh reality that life and death can bring, instead of the usual fairytale ending. This story is both deeply moving and satisfying.

the book the fault in our starts is a beautiful story about hazel who has cancer and she needs to carry around an oxygen tank to help her breath. she goes to a support group to listen to other peoples stories about cancer and then she meets Augustus (Gus). they go on a cancer journey together, through the ups and downs and shortly become best friends. but shortly after that they know that they are closer them friends and become boyfriend and girlfriend. my favourite character is Gus because he would jump in front of a bullet for Hazel. this is a great book for anyone who loves to have a good cry because trust me i did! i definitely recommend this book for the age of 12 and up!

The Fault in our Stars by John Green is one of my all time favourite books! It follows Hazel Grace as she suffers with a terminal cancer and meets another cancer survivor, Augustus (Gus). However, this is not a story about dying but rather one about living. It explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic aspects of being alive and in love. Hazel and Augustus’ love story is such a beautiful thing and it was portrayed magnificently in this novel. Prepare to keep a box of tissues nearby when you read this book as it is a huge tear jerker. John Green has written this book in a way that teens an young adults can relate to, even if they are not cancer sufferers. I love the characters and the dynamic of the story and would 100% recommend this for someone who loves romance and who is prepared to cry their eyes out.

This book is a brilliant read, that can make you laugh and cry at the same time! It is about a teenage girl named Hazel who was diagnosed with cancer and has to carry an oxygen tank around with her to help her breath. One day. Hazel goes to a support group, which is a group of people who also have issues and they talk everything out. This is where she meets Augustus. These two become very close friends and they turn out to fall in love! They go through many many ups and downs together, that make you laugh and cry. This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read and I firmly believe it is a must-read for all. It follows the story of two teenagers who have/previously had cancer, and met at a support group and fall in love. Hazel feels as though she is nothing but terminal, however, when she meets Augustus, her whole life changes, and they both give each other hope and happiness. They fall in love despite the tragedy that was destined to occur, and this is what the storyline is based upon. It was a truly heartbreaking book, and a tissue box is certainly a requirement when reading. My favourite moment in this book would be when Hazel and Gus go to the Anne Frank house, as I believe it is so beautiful and it demonstrates the strength of the characters. Gus would also have to be my favourite character as I believe he makes the story more humorous, and he also is such a strong and inspiring character that is always optimistic despite his hardships and struggles. This book truly changed my perspective and outlook on life, as it taught me how fragile life really is, as well as how lucky I am. John Green is an incredible writer and this is one of his best (and most popular) books to date. I would recommend this to anyone over the age of 13 and I would rate it a 10/10!

This book was very heartwrenching and sad. The Fault in our Stars by John Green is a novel about two teenagers that find love, but with that, there is a lot of pain. Both Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters are diagnosed with cancer. This inevitable death brings a rollercoaster of emotions for the reader. I really enjoyed this book because the amazing love story, comedic relief, and loss. The author’s contemporary references and style of writing makes the book more relatable to a teenager. I am not the biggest fan of reading, but I couldn’t put this book down. I definitely recommend this book to anyone that enjoys romance and tragedy.

I really enjoyed this book! It’s a tragic love story of two teens with a horrible illness controlling their lives. Hazel Grace and Agustus Waters met at a support group for young people who have had an illness in the past or still have it. Agustus is officially clear of cancer but Hazel is still fighting her battle. At first Hazel was reluctant to go but after her mother’s convincing she gave in and went.
When they first met they were flirty and silly with each other, but after hanging out more their love developed into an intense romance.
Augustus took Hazel and her mum to Amsterdam to meet Hazel’s idol, Peter Van-Houton. Peter writes books that Hazel utterly loves, she especially has a spot in her heart for these books because they were the books she read when she was in Hospital at her worst. They went and had a wonderful time, Hazel and Agustus spent a lot of time together and at the very end of their trip went to Peter’s house to meet him! To Hazel’s disappointment Peter was drunk, and not anything like she expected him to be. She thought he would be full of joy, and excited to see them, but instead he was drunk, rude and insulted them. They later found out that ever since he stopped writing he had gone downhill.
When they returned home disaster struck. Everyone was expecting Hazel to die, but instead Agustus suddenly became severely ill and passed away a week after their trip. At his funeral a surprise guest showed up to Hazel’s dislike, Peter Van-Houten. He came to the funeral drunk and uninvited, and caused quite the scenario.
A few days after Agustus’s funeral Hazel discovered that just before they left for the trip to Amsterdam Augustus had been re-diagnosed with cancer and had only a few weeks to live. Hazel should have been mad he didn’t tell her but instead she could only smile about the wonderful memories they had together.
I recommend this book to anyone that’s 12+ because it is such a raw and real book. If you have already read this book I recommend reading the fault in our stars, looking for alaska and the well-known book wonder!

I always had trouble putting down the book when i was reading it. I would recommend it for people who are 11+ and love a good sad but romantic story.

This is such a wonderful story full of lots of exciting, happy, sad and emotional feelings that hit you all at the same time. The story line is just so inspiring and heart felt as it helps us realise how lucky we are! I loved reading the book as it is about a girl called Hazel Grace who’s goes through an epic journey tho she isn’t actually sick with cancer but experiences new things like falling in love! Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters are the two main characters.I would defiantly recommend reading this book and watching the movies are they are equally both great! (It doesn’t matter which one you read or watch first because you will still enjoy them) This story is so sad but happy as well in some parts! This is defiantly a must read book and a must see movie as it has so many ups and down along the way! I recommend this book to people who love soppy heartfelt stories! I give this book an 8/10

This book was incredible! ‘The Fault in our Stars’ follows 16 year old Hazel, who meets a 16 year old boy, Augustus Waters. The struggle is: Hazel has cancer. The two slowly get to know one another, and bond over Hazel’s love of the book ‘An Imperial Affliction’. This story had me sucked in from start to finish. I felt so much love for these characters as I watched them develop across the story. If you choose to read this book, you must be prepared to cry your eyes out. This book is an insightful, heartbreaking, thought-provoking work of art. I would recommend this to 14+, and to anyone who loves some romance or a good cry. 10/10!

This book is amazing and uses beautiful descriptive language and had me falling in love with the characters. This is a book that I would recommend to anyone who wants a good read. I am not someone who reads a lot but I found myself constantly reaching for this book and wanting to read more. I was also a bit sad once I finished it aha. I rate this book a 9/10 easy

Which tells the story of Hazel Grace Lancaster, a 16 year old girl who has had cancer for three years, and Augustus ‘Gus’ Waters, a 17-year-old boy who’s now in remission, and once had a tumor in his leg. I would definitely recommend this to ages 12+ because it can be very mature and I rate this a 6/10.

I remember when I read this book everyone was talking about John Green, and I can definitely say the book lived up to the hype! I absolutely adored this book, and found it to be written so beautifully and expressively. Even though this book is a massive tear jerker, I also found it to be really funny and happy at times, making it a very diverse book that pretty much everyone will enjoy. I would however recommend it to people 13 and over as there is some themes that may be hard for young people to understand, as well as some difficult vocabulary. Overall, this book is definitely worth reading, and is put down as one of my must reads! 10/10

The Fault in Our Stars was such an amazing book. It had happy parts, sad parts, and just made your emotions go topsy turvy! My favourite part had to be when Augustus and Hazel met; it was awesome! Overall I would rate this book a 9 /10 because it did make me cry😭, and it was so emotional! I recommend it for anyone older than 11, just because sometimes it can be a bit harsh on your emotions, but otherwise, go for it!!😄

I highly recommend this book to people who enjoy a bit a romance, can shed a tear and also have a laugh. it follows the journey about a girl called hazle who is struggling with cancer and meets a really nice guy who also has cancer which is one of the many things that they share in common. this book will send you on a roller coaster of emotions and above all is a really good book that you will not be able to put down. This book is so cleverly written it makes you feel all the characters pain and sufferings, you feel attached to the characters and all they do. Writing about the topic of cancer can be seen as “predictable” or even “boring”. But the way it is approached in this book is amazing. I personally love Hazel, she is such a strong-minded young women who speaks the truth. At first, I wasn’t a huge fan of Gus but after reading what he would do for Hazel made me love him so much. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a laugh and a good cry (a lot of crying).

‘The Fault in Our Stars’ is a very, very heartwarming novel and shows just how lucky to not be sick and suffering. This book shows the challenges and triumphs of Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, battling with illnesses. They fall into a love story and help each other to cope with the hardships and sadness of their deadly illnesses. There is romance and times where you are tearing up or times when you are smiling. There is both times when it is heart-aching and heart-warming. This book is really a worthy read if you love being on a rollercoaster of emotions. Hazel Grace is my favourite character because she is very casual and her character is determined, yet calm and relaxed. She has a very casual vibe about her, even though she could possibly die at any moment. I would recommend this book to the ages of 12+ and I would rate it 8/10. It is also a fabulous movie!

It is a book about a girl named Hazel how as lung cancer and has to carry around an oxygen to be able breath she hates but it is all she has to survive she is having a hard time, Making friends so her mum put her in a social group and that is where she meets Augustus. Augustus is such a nice boy he has some kind of cancer as well. My favourite part of the book is probably when they are sharing their love for books and make their vows and code words. The fault in our stars was one of my all time favourite books as it gives you and insight of a teenage girl named Hazel who struggles against cancer to the point where she need to constantly be on oxygen to support her breathing. when reading this book I had a rollercoaster of emotions because one moment everything would be happy as if nothing was wrong and the next you would be unsure about the future and them you be feeling sad and upset knowing that Hazel is suffering from such a serious sickness. My favourite part was when hazel first met Augustus as he soon became a big pert of Hazels life and helped her live the rest of her life to the fullest. Hazels parents were both so caring and protective of their daughter and I felt sorry for them knowing that their daughter is suffering and her life is at a serious risk. This is a true rollercoaster love story and would 100% recommend it for anyone! I would and I rate it a 9/10.

I have loved this book since i have read it, it describes the fact that Hazel and Augustus going through Cancer. My favourite part in the book was when they met each other because they were perfect for each other. My favourite Character was Augustus because he was going through a harder time than Hazel. My least favourite part in the book is were Hazel and Augustus went on a trip to see hazels favourite Author Mr Peter Van Houten and Mr Peter Van Houten yelled at them because he was drunk. I would recommend this book to others at the age of 12 and over. People that are going through this or people that are interested in these sort of books would like it.

I have read this book and watched the movie countless amount of times and it never fails to make me cry. This book sends such an emotional and beautiful message to everyone and anyone who reads it. My favourite character is Gus. His love and kind heart towards Hazel is never-ending. And of course, I love Hazel. Her inspiring story and positive soul, which is so contagious and you would be lying if you said you don’t just love her. I recommend this movie to anyone over 12/13. 5 Stars!!!

Hazel has cancer, meaning she doesn’t know what to do with her rest of her life. Who could? Hazel than meets a mysterious guy, Augustus Waters. Augustus changes her life for the better and she’s very grateful for it, but she doesn’t want to break his heart when she dies. Hazel and Augustus have what you might think is a perfect relationship – or it would be perfect, if cancer wasn’t constantly against them. I don’t know what to say about The Fault In Our Stars, I want to say it was an amazing book, but it wasn’t an amazing book… it was a heart-breaking book about a girl trying not to fall in love because she knew she would eventually die and leave the one she loved behind. The end of the Fault in our stars was a disappointment. It was because it didn’t really end how you really, really, really wished it would, but I think the point or the moral of the book was that cancer does not always end happily. The whole way through the book, you hoped that it was going to have that fairy tale ending, but that isn’t how life works. Life brings disappointment, it upsets, it kills, it destroys. But it also brings joy, love, sacrifice, heartbreak, friendship.100% 5 Stars! I’ve rated it 5 stars because it was so easy to relate to and realistic and I think it’s great to read more realistic books sometimes, rather than just drowning yourself in fantasies that are never going to come true.

This book is my favourite book ever. And I am NOT exaggerating! The story is about a girl named Hazel. She is diagnosed with cancer in her lungs at a young age, and now survives with one lung. This captivating novel bought me to floods of tears (Honestly, I cried non-stop for an hour) so if you are into a bit of romance or comedy or tear jerkers, this is the perfect book for you. Hazel meets this boy named Augustus Waters at her support group. Gus used to have cancer, but sacrificed his leg to get rid of it. This heart-warming story leads you on an emotional roller coaster – you will cry, smile and laugh as John Green takes you on a journey you will never forget. A hands down 5 out of 5!

Let me tell you that if you are not into sad books then you definitely should not read this. It is a really touching story and John Green has definitely done this very well. Hazel is 16 and is afraid to go to the support group, but she soon she recognises that it was a good idea. Hazel meets a young boy named Augustus Waters. He is charming and bright. Augustus has had osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, but has recently had the all clear. If you enjoy young adult books, full of witty humour and heartbreaking events, this book is perfect for you. Expect to laugh, cry and smile throughout this masterpiece by the amazing John Green. I first read this book when i was 9 and still to this day it is my all time favourite! The way John Green portrays his characters is outstanding which is also one of many reasons that John Green is my favourite author.
The Fault In Our Stars is about a teenage girl called Hazel who has lung cancer and is locked in her room without friends and is unable to attend school. Because of her lack of social life Hazels mum insists that she goes to a support group where other people who have had cancer share their stories. That is where she meets Augustus. Hazel and Augustus soon become very close friends, and it turns into love throughout the story.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone over the age of 13. I rate it a 11/10.

It was a very sad ending but the journey thy go on in the book sure does have its ups and downs of happiness and sadness. The Fault in our Stars is one of the most gorgeous books you will ever read, with heartbreak romance and even humorous thrown in the mix, it is definitely one to pick up. The part that I loved most about this novel was the characters, in particular Hazel. I love how you follow in her mind, through the anxiousness of treatment, to her mind being put at ease by Augustus and his romantic picnic plans. Despite the ups and downs throughout the novel, it ends on a slight sad note with the passing of a character, but is yet open for your mind to wander a little more into what might just happen to the rest of the characters after it’s all over. I would recommend this book to people over the age of 13, and would rate this a 10/10 – a tear jerking yet feel good story of a boy and a girl both going through their struggles and making the best of ever moment.

If there is a movie that is based on a book I normally watch the movie, but this time I decided to read the book first for something different and I’m so glad I did. I connected to the storyline more and really felt what was going through Hazels mind at the time. This book left so many people talking after they finished reading it and for me it left me wanting more. The novel portrayed both love, hope and suffering that worked so well and left me in tears. The fault in our stars would have to be one of the saddest books I have read with such a big twist that I never could have predicted. I recommend this novel for ages 14+ for you to really understand the storyline. The novel is written for more mature people but overall I loved it so much and it showed me how great of an author John Green is.

I read this book at the beginning of last year and it is still and will probably always be one of my favourites. The Fault in Our Stars is a whole lot different to the books I normally tend to read however I loved every page of it. Despite cancer playing a major role in the story it still isn’t a ‘cancer book’ that Hazel herself dislikes so much, it is a book about two young people that meet because of cancer and they give each other an infinity in numbered days. Many people might not want to read this book because after the first page you can tell that it’s going to be sad, but those people would miss the hilarious dialogue, the thought-provoking quotes, and most of all a kind of romance that can only be found in books.
All of John Green’s books are terrific and this one was no different, I would recommend this book to everyone that is able to read (and also those who can’t).

A sad but yet wonderful read. The fault in our stars is a beautiful book that is an easy read that may leave you in tears. I cannot pick a favourite character because I love them all so much. I recommend it to any teenage girl wanting something that lives up to its expectations. If you are thinking of a book that has romance, humour, sadness, happiness and so much more than this is the book for you. Borrow it for the holidays, I bet you won’t be able to get your head out of it and you will finish it within just a few hours or days. A nice way to relax after assessments and exams. I would rate it a 10/10.

This was one of the best books I have ever ever read! It was an amazing story with an incredible storyline which is so heart written. The characters were amazing as well and they all came from different backgrounds but it all made sense while reading it. I have read this book mulitple times over and over again and it has always left me in tears, which is why I keep reading it. I liked all the characters especially Hazel as she looks so soft but she is as tough as nails on the inside, but that is what makes her special.
I rate this book 12+ and I give it a mark of 9/10

The Fault In Our Stars is a fantastic book about a young teenage girl who has been diagnosed with lung cancer and attends a cancer support group. As a way to ‘socialize’.
Hazel is 16 and is unwilling to attend the support group, but she soon sees that it was a great idea. Hazel meets a handsome boy named Augustus Waters. He is adventurous and charming. Augustus has had osteosarcoma,which has scarred him for life, but has recently had the all clear. Augustus and hazel begin on an adventure of a lifetime full of love, aspirations, sadness and romance,. They travel to Amsterdam in search of Peter Van Houten the author of hazels favourite book. While on their adventure Augustus tells hazel a distressing announcement. both of their worlds crumble and fall apart around them.
If you love romance, witty humour and a good cry then this book is perfect for you. I recommend this book for all teenagers who love a captivating read.

I love “The fault in our stars” it is a beautiful story. It defiantly needs more than 3 Hankies. my favourite part is when they go on a trip to see there favourite author. My favourite character is hazel she is so sweet and she so loves Gus and when Gus died it was so sad it was a sad book but i loved it. I rate it 100/10 i loved it

This book is great! It captures the reader’s hearts with the plot-twisted love between Hazel and Gus. From the moment I read this it became a part of my every day life such as “Grenades” and the main one, “Okay”. I’ve always wondered if Hazel lives long after Gus or if she dies soon after. I couldn’t read this book without having a tear or two…
John Green is one of my favourite writers because of the unique writing style and your ability to capture the reader’s heart. The Fault in Our Stars is a book I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

The fault in our stars’ by John Green is one of the most beautiful and well-written novels I have ever read. It tells the story of young Hazel and Augustus. The two teens fall in love and fight their hardest to overcome their hardships. The book is filled with love, ambition, sadness and desperation. It is a thrilling read and will certainly have you reaching for a tissue at the end. I absolutely love this book, and would rate it a 10 out of 10. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to cry or enjoy an amazing book.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! the fault i our stars was one of the firsts books i’ve cried in. I don’t usually cry in books but augustus and hazels story was definitely one i had to cry in. the book makes you feel happy and sad all at the same time. The author of the book makes you feel like you are a character in the book. I thought the book was very unpredictable and there was always something that kept me wanting to read more and thats why i loved it so much. i definitely think everyone who loves sad romantic books needs to read this book because its such an inspiring touching story that cannot be not read!

I really enjoyed reading this book, it took me a while to get into but I really loved it. I think this is such a beautiful book and I think the movie explains this book and shows what a person with cancer has to go through on a daily basis. I love hazel she plays this role really great. Her and Gus become such great friends and turns into love. This book was sad but it was great I would read this book again and again!

The heart-warming book about a young couple facing a disrupting time of their lives. They both suffer a life threatning ‘cancer’ in their life. When the word cancer comes into a sentence my heart starts to feel warm and I start to feel sympathetic. Especially when they are just young teenagers. The movie and the book had a huge impact in my life, not just the moral of the story, but my life. I came into realisation that I want to help people who suffer these problems. I want to become a paediatrician when I grow up, because I feel as if, that since I’m a teenager I definitely wouldn’t like to be growing up with cancer. Helping teenagers and children since they suffer cancer or anything that is putting a hold in their life.
The author uses a language that young readers are able to read. Helping them to realise the moral. I love how the book uses a couple to help encourage people that do suffer the same as the characters that they are important.
When I first watched the movie, it was in the plane. At the end we all know what happens, don’t even want to talk about it because it’s so heart breaking. Any ways, I started crying and it was at night in the plane and I was the only one awake, my family was sleeping, and I was balling my eyes, trying not wake anyone. The flight attendant came to me asking me whats wrong, I said that I watched a sad movie, she started laughing and gave me some tissues. This proves how much I love this movie, because I think everyone wants to feel ‘moved’, that they start crying.

Definitely a story to make your heart melt! I definitely recommend this book The Fault in our stars, A wonderful story about a cancer patient Hazel who is pretty much terminal until She meets a another Boy like her in a kid cancer support group. Augustus is kind caring and always want to pout Hazel first, he will do anything for her, even take her across the world using his only wish. My favourite Character Is Hazel because she is kind and caring but lives a lonely life, this story is a roller coaster of emotions… you will probably need a tissue box. I give this book a 8/10.

I recommend the book Fault in our Stars for ages between 13-16. It is a real eye-opening book about having cancer and what is like to have cancer. I follows two main characters; Hazel Grace Lancaster and Gus Waters who both have cancer and they meet at a cancer support group and for in love with each other. I t is a very sad and touching book to read and the author real makes you feel what are going through. There is a movie to it as well if you don’t like reading. So I really recommend this book for anyone who has read or seen the movie yet. I just love this book and I’m so happy to found it to read.

I would recommend the book the fault in our starts to anyone from the age 10 onwards. The fault in our stars is a beautifully written romance book about two cancer patients who meet each other at a therapy class. If you’re not a fan of reading, the fault in our starts is a movie as well which i also highly recommend as the actors played the characters in the book extremely well. I cried so much in this book and it really gives you and insight into the life of someone with cancer.

‘The Fault in Our Stars’ is a very, very heartwarming novel and shows just how lucky to not be sick and suffering. This book shows the challenges and triumphs of Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters, battling with illnesses. They fall into a love story and help each other to cope with the hardships and sadness of their deadly illnesses. There is romance and times where you are tearing up or times when you are smiling. There is both times when it is heart-aching and heart-warming. This book is really a worthy read if you love being on a rollercoaster of emotions. Hazel Grace is my favourite character because she is very casual and her character is determined, yet calm and relaxed. She has a very casual vibe about her, even though she could possibly die at any moment. I would recommend this book to the ages of 12+ and I would rate it 8/10. It is also a fabulous movie!

The Fault In Our Stars is a very great novel that is heartfelt and truly touching. It is also a very true story, John Green has not sugar coated it, he has told the true story of some who has cancer. My favourite character is Augustus “Gus” Waters, because he is such an open mixed guy, he is very optimistic and hopes for the best, even when things start to go down hill in the novel he is always riding the high of the roller coaster. My favourite part is when (on the front cover) they are together because Hazel (who is the girl) and Gus show amazing friendship and thats all that matters when you go through tough times, you just need someone by your side at all times, no matter what, it comforts you and makes you stronger. This touching novel made me tear up a bit even after watching the movie as well, although it is defiantly worth a read if you haven’t had a chance to yet!!

This book is so inspirational and beautifully written. This is a story of hazel grace who cancer and who has no motivation in life. She meets Augustus waters who inspires her to live life to her full potential and she falls in love with him. This story is so realistic and really helps us to embrace the idea that there are people in the world who aren’t perfect but they live to its fullest potential. John Green is an amazing author and this is shown throughout this elegantly written novel.

This is such a great book and one that I read over and over. The characters Hazel and Augustus are so inspiring and the way they met each other through their struggles in life gives you an even closer connection to the book. Although it is very sad and at times you wish you could just finish the book so it did not end sad- it gives a wonderful message about life and how special it is and also the way that one person is able to make a difference to the other. This book is so addicting and I give it a 9/10 ! I would recommend it to anyone the age of 14 and up and I’m sure anyone who loves romance novels will love this one.

This book is my favourite book of all time. And I am NOT exaggerating! The story is about a girl named Hazel. She is diagnosed with cancer in her lungs at a young age, and now survives with one lung. This captivating novel bought me to floods of tears (Honestly, I cried non-stop for an hour) so if you are into a bit of romance or comedy or tear jerkers, this is the perfect book for you. Hazel meets this boy named Augustus Waters at her support group. Gus used to have cancer, but sacrificed his leg to get rid of it. This heart-warming story leads you on an emotional roller coaster – you will cry, smile and laugh as John Green takes you on a journey you will never forget. A hands down 5 out of 5!

The Fault in our Stars is a very touching and eye opening read. The storyline is brilliant and true. It shows you that this is was people go through and how tough it can be. I loved reading this book as it always kept me interested. My favourite part of the book was when Hazel met Augustus as he was my favourite character and had a cheesy personality which I loved. I can relate to this story as many people in my family has cancer so I can relate to the people who have been around Hazel throughout her whole situation. I reccomend this story to anyone, I would definitely rate it a 10/10. The story line was just so great and had so many meaningful quotes and stories. It taught me so much and showed me reality for many people all around the world. This wasn’t difficult to read and I would recommend it for anyone in year 7 all the way through to adults.

I absolutely adored this book! This is a realistic story of love and compassion when you don’t even think its possible to love anymore. The storyline is so incredible and unpredictable that you just can’t take your eyes off the book. John Green is a talented writer and he writes honestly and sincerely and doesn’t sugarcoat what people with medical conditions have to go through everyday. Hasel-Grace is an inspirational Character funny and humble with the adventures she takes with Augustus and the struggles of having Cancer. My favourite character is Augustus because he was a very funny, interesting and sweet character, although he suffered from a terminal illness, he didn’t let that stop him from wanting to see the world and live a incredible life. He loved Hazel and only wanted the best for her as he knew they only had small time left together both having Cancer. It also has an unexpected ending which may shock some readers, but overall beautifully written and resulted in a great movie. I would defiantly recommend this book to anyone who like to read novels that involves emotion and romance. I rate it a 10/10.

I recommend this book “The Fault in our Stars”. It I such a stunning book to read as well with the movie, John Green(The Author of the book) has written this novel in a way which all teens and young adults can relate to in any way. Hazel, a 16 year old girl which she is diagnosed with Stage 4 Thyroid cancer with metastasis forming in her lungs which in other terms “lung Cancer”, Hazel now has to carry an oxygen tank for everywhere she goes, to help her breath. Hazels Mum cares about her a lot and insists Hazel to go to a support group, where other people who have cancer share their stories to everyone in the group. That is where Hazel meets Augustus, who he suffers from cancer, specifically osteosarcoma. Hazel and Augustus soon become very close friends, then they become boyfriend and girlfriend. My favourite part about the book is that Augustus and Hazel went on a trip together to meet their favourite author. Augustus(Gus) wish had came true from that trip, as he wanted Hazel to meet her favourite author which was his. My favourite character was Hazel, she was a brave young 16 year old and had no fear at all. I hope many readers out there take a chance to read this outstanding book, you will instantly fall in with it. I give it a rating of 5/5

I absolutely adored this novel, this is a true story of love and compassion when you don’t even think your possible to love anymore. The writer’s choice of the storyline is incredible, its a predictable but unpredictable story line, you expect you know what happens in the end but your point of view is changed instantly. I loved how both Hazel and Gus could share a love so pure and support one another through all adversity that they had to come to terms with. It demonstrates bravery and although this book deals with the heartbreaking reality of death, it also has some funny moments. My favourite character is Augustus because he was a very funny, interesting and sweet character, although he suffered from a terminal illness. I really enjoyed this book because the characters in the book were very emotionally strong. i love the way john green demonstrates the unconditional love between to completely diverse characters. The have a different view and outlook on life and they both what different things in the future. I recommend this book to anyone 13 +. This is an absolutely stunning novel that left me wanting more. You definitely need a pack of tissues by the bed.

The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green, left me awestruck and in tears. It Is a cancer story about a love between two cancer survivors and their journeys. My favourite part of this book was when Augustus told Hazel and Isaac to write eulogies so he could attend his own post-funeral. I was in tears when Hazel and Isaac were reading out their pieces. My favourite character was Augustus, he was a really sweet and tried to make hazel feel good, he was quite funny with the things that he said. I would rate this book a 10/10 as it took me through a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings. I would recommend this book to people who are interested in a love story because it’s something that is relatable and explores the true meaning to love someone.

This is a great book because it can really relate to young people struggling with hardships and adversities. Not necessarily in the same form as Hazel, it may be mental illness, physical injuries or disabilities, but it’s great to have a really relatable character in a global phenomenon novel which captures true beauty in a gorgeous story. It is intelligently written with an appeal to our age group at a high school level and above, sparking a variety of emotions and easily brings a tear to the eye throughout the book. I recon I have read this amazing book over 20 times. The Fault in Our Start is an amazing love story about two cancer survivors, Hazel and Augustus. They slowly fall in love and it is just the best book ever. Hazel and Gus make there way too Amsterdam, and meet their favourite author. I loved how thoughtful Gus was and how he always did things to make Hazel happy, even if it meant keeping a secret from her. This book had made me cry every time, but I keep going back! This book is a must-read!

This is my FAVORITE BOOK! I can’t begin to explain how many times I have read it and I never get sick of it. I’m sure that anyone who starts to read it will not be able to put it down. It is by one of my favorite authors John Green and it is such a beautiful story to read. It is about a girl named Hazel who has cancer and she doesn’t have many friends because they are all living life like a normal teens. That’s until she goes to a church group and bumps into the gorgeous Augustus who she gets to know quite well. They become very close and fall madly in love with each other, as they grow through ups and downs of there journey of cancer. They go on many adventures together as they achieve amazing things together right until the very end. This story is gorgeous, it is heart breaking and it is funny and anyone who loves to read romance novels will certainly love this. I love how strong the characters are in this story, despite the many hardships that they face throughout their lives. I also love the relationship between the two as it is very special and they got to spend their lives together although at times it was hard. I would recommend this book to 13 and up and anyone who loves romance novels. I give it a 10/10 as it is by far my favorite book.

The fault in our stars is a great book/movie. The book and the movie versions are different in someways. It is a truly touching and very sad story. It is based on two people. Augustus (“Gus”) and Hazel. They both have different types of cancer and could den any time soon. They meet each other at a club they go to and express their feelings. Gus and Hazel begin to grow closer and closer and they end up becoming a couple after a while. They are very adventurous because they want to make the most of lives, not knowing how long they each have left to live. They share lots of bad and good experiences together throughout the story. One of the things they do is travel to Amsterdam to meet Hazel’s inspiration Peter Van Houten, who is an author. When they get there, they realise he is just a drunken man who is rude and doesn’t care about them. At the end something very sad happens, but I can’t spoil it. If you are into tearjerker and heartwarming things this is for you!

“the fault in our stars” is a beautiful book/movie its about 2 strangers who meet each other at a support group which talk about there rough journeys through life and how their challenges had shaped them. hazel looks across the room and sees this amazing boy augusts it literally takes her breathe away. augustus and hazel went on a road trip together but it turns out be be a love trip to meet there favourite author who then rejects them.

Hazel is an inspirational character and i love her so much, she has survived cancer and now has to carry an oxygen tank around. Hazel meets Gus and they become great friends. I really enjoyed this book because their were sad bits, funny bits and just really good bits that pulled you in and i wanted to read more. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves books, i got quite attached to this book and i really should read it again.

This book is one of the saddest and most beautiful books that I have ever read! I love Hazels attitude towards things and find it quite funny. I loved Augustus, he is a very funny character and has lot of personality especially when he is around Hazel. I love Hazel and Augustus’ love of the book an imperial infection and how the book took them both to Amsterdam. I love Augustus’ love towards Hazel and the things that he does for her. This book is sad and I would definitely recommend having tissues beside you when you read the book.

“My thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations.” “The Fault in Our Stars” by John Green, left me awestruck and in tears (not to mention wishing Augustus Waters was more than a fictional character). I am at a loss for words on how to describe this piece of art. The only thing worthy enough to say about this book is: “I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly and then all at once.’” We open up the story to Hazel Grace, who is your average teenage girl except for the fact her body is filled with cancer and she has to carry around an oxygen tank because her “lungs suck at being lungs.” Hazel is forced to join the Cancer Kids Support Group where she meets the pristine, Augustus Waters. It’s your basic teenage love story; dying girl falls for hot boy. However, even though this book is neatly placed on every teenage girl’s bookshelf, there is more to it than just two love birds that live happily ever after. This is not, as Hazel Grace might put it, a “Cancer Book.” This book is real. Everything is real, especially the diseases. I recommend this book to anyone, and my only advice to the reader is to bring a box of tissues.

Hazel doesn’t like this group too much but goes to make her mum happy, one day while she was there she meets a boy names Augustus who was only there because his friend has cancer in his eyes and will soon be blind. Augustus is a very sweet quirky person who connects well with Hazel soon after they meet they fall in love and are always together. Hazel shows Augustus her favourite book and gives it to him to read and it soon becomes his favourite book but he just hates the ending so he contacts the author to speak to him about the ending. They travel together to meet him but he is the opposite of what they think e would be like and he turns out not to be a very nice man so they leave and just travel the city for the day. Augustus has something he would like to tell Hazel soon that isn’t very good and pretty sad. This is an amazing book that I would definitely recommend if like a beautiful love story that would have you crying.

I have read the book and watched the movie of this a million times and I love it. If you are into heartwarming and sad movies/books this is for you. It is about this girl called Hazel and a boy called Augustus. They both have cancer and they meet at a club that they go to express their feelings. Hazel has thyroid cancer and Augustus (Gus) has osteosarcoma. They both do not know how long they have to live whether it is a few hours or a few years. Hazel and Gus become a couple and spend most of their time together. They go to Amsterdam together to meet Hazel’s biggest inspiration Peter Van Houten who is an author. But when they get there, They are both so upset to find out that he is just an alcoholic who abused them both about their cancer. The book/movie ends with a very sad tragedy and it is so inspiring and touching.

The Fault in our Stars is a wonderful book with loveable characters. The storyline is really great and the plot twists are very unexpected. I heard of this book from the internet. At the time I wasn’t expecting much but I was very wrong. I cried while reading it because it is SO well written. John Green is an amazing author with really great writing skills. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves romance and plot twists. There are many other books by John Green, because I’ve read quite a lot of them. The movie was a great representation of the book.

Before I’d read this book I had heard so much about it and it lived up to my expectations. This story was a beautifully written love story that made me laugh and made me cry. I feel in love with this book, and I also feel in love with Hazel and Gus. They had such a strong chemistry, and I did not know what was going to happen next. This amazing book is about love, suffering and staying hopeful. This book made me to reduced to tears. A teenage girl named Hazel had a sad look on life until she went to a support group and meets Augustus. They soon develop a very close friendship that slowly turns into love. This book is a lot like it’s movie. There are some slight differences that you can only experience in the book. I loved the characters and how John Green highlights their realism. This book was cleverly written and had that effect of never putting it down. I loved this book and would rate it 9/10 as it is much better to read than watch the movie. I would recommend for 12 and up as the language is a bit difficult.

The fault in our stars is an emotional but exciting journey of a girl, Hazel Grace who has cancer and is horribly sick. She mets the love of her life, Augustus at a cancer support group. They immediatly connect and from there on their love gets stronger. Gus is also sick and has a terrible cancer. Either of them could die soon, but instead they choose to focus on the present and enjoy each other’s company instead. Chasing their dream became an issue but as soon they it was over they flew to Paris and had an amazing adventure. This is a sad book but also is filled with happiness and joy. I love this book because it captures the moment of love and romance. I reccomend this book to people 12 + and give it a 10/10.

It is very heartwarming, funny, intelligent and romantic to read. It was very sad book to read, I cried on every page. I loved this book because it had me screaming crying and laughing throughout the whole book, it filled me with so much emotion. My favourite part was when Hazel meets Augustus for the first time when he had a unlit cigarette between his teeth. If I could change anything I would make so that Hazel doesn’t have a problem with her breathing and for Augustus not to have cancer. I was reaching for my tissues a lot during this book, I found that this book portrayed the story of a cancer patient well. This book was definitely beautiful in it’s way and its was one of my favourite books. My favourite character is Hazel because she is tough and strong-willed as well as being soft and kind. I loved the characters in the book and I got really attached to them because they were really sweet and they had such different characteristics. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a book that is sad, sweet, beautiful, romantic and tells a story of cancer. I would rate it a 9 out of 10 because the ending was so unexpected and sad.

Hazel struggles to be able to live an ordinary teenage life, so her mother insists that it would be best for Hazel to go to a support group so that she can meet others like her who are struggling with cancer. Despite not wanting to go, Hazel attends the group where she meets Augustus Waters, who had once battled with cancer. Hazel and Gus form a close relationship and fall in love with each other, and share an amazing journey. My favourite character was definitely Gus because he saw the world in different eyes and opened up Hazel to the world surrounding her, and he was really kind. Overall, this book is a very emotional story about love and John Green has doe an amazing job at expressing what it is like to have cancer. I rate this book 9/10 and would recommend it to anyone who loves an emotional story.

I cried all through this book and it was a really beautiful story. I fell in love with the characters Hazel and Gus. They both have cancer and meet at a support group. They start as friends and are both wrapped up in a book called “an Imperial affliction”. The story ends abruptly and they both go on trip in search of answers meeting the author of the story who doesn’t respond to any emails. He is an amazing author who creates magic with his words 8/10

The two teens fall in love and fight their hardest to overcome their hardships. The book is filled with love, ambition, sadness and desperation. It is a thrilling read and will certainly have you reaching for a tissue at the end. I absolutely love this book, and would rate it a 10 out of 10. I love how the characters are so alike and they can connect so well. As soon as they saw each other I new that their relationship would take off.
Augustus is so cute! He is so gentle towards Hazel and respects her all the time.

I recommend the book The Fault in our Stars. I know many of you out there have all persuaded your friends to read, which by all means do so. But I’m sure there are those out there who haven’t read it, well I guarantee you will read the book when you read what I have to say about it. I admit, the movie is amazing but many of you chose the movie instead of reading the book. The movie is as well as not instead of, the book on the other hand talks beyond more to what it shows in the movie. The author was very detailed throughout the book that you can picture everything in your mind. You can picture the sense of tone which is very difficult when writing only in text and not direct speech. The storyline itself is beautiful, where Hazel the main character is diagnosed with cancer until she meets a guy who falls in love with her for who she is. He has a secret that he kept from her from the very beginning when they first met. Did he tell Hazel his secret? Can’t tell. The genre of the book is romance, but the romance is unpredictable in the real world until you read the book and its written in a form that it is very real and people will accept others for what they look like or who they are. I rate this book a 9/10.

I love the story of the Fault in our Stars, the themes incorporated are fabulous and the book is very well written according to them. The story is so emotional and beautiful about how their differences bring them together. I loved it when Gus shared his wish with Hazel so that they could go and meet the author together because it really shows the amount of care and trust Gus has for Hazel. This book is so beautiful and despite and abrupt ad saddening ending I couldn’t put it down!

I absolutely love both the film and the book, and am particularly in awe of John Green’s writing. I love how the major themes are love and strength, because I believe that they resonate with every teenage girl. I love how the two main characters – Augustus and Hazel work together to overcome their challenges, and they are able to do this through their unique understanding of each other’s condition.
I recommend this book to everyone, and love the messages of love and sacrifice that at the center.

The novel “The fault in our stars,” is a novel I would highly recommend. I think that the story line behind the film is truly inspirational, which illustrates the multiple hardships individuals and their families go through when experiencing a terminal illness. It is though-out the film Hazel – the main character realises that life can simply slip away at any moment, which leads to the realisation that she needs to live life and enjoy the time she has left, rather than complaining. This novel is an inspiration to many and I would recommend individuals aged 13+

This is another amazing book in which I absolutely loved and enjoyed to read. This brilliant book by John Green is about a young girl, who developed cancer when she was 13. She meets a boy named Augustus who is also very sick. We see there journey of becoming friends and then lovers and see how Augustus has really made Hazel open her eyes and really enjoy life even though the challenges she faces of having cancer. This movie is one that makes me cry every time I watch it. I would most definitely recommend this movie and book to any one and every one, and I would rate it a solid 10/10.

Her Mum made her go to a support group where she meets a boy named Augustus Waters and throughout the story they form a much stronger relationship. My favourite part of the book was when Hazel and Gus meet, you can definitely tell that there is chemistry between them even at that early part of it. My favourite character was Isaac because he had some quite funny comments throughout. My least favourite part of the book was the end – you will definitely need a few boxes of tissues. I would recommend this book to anyone over the age of 12 – 13. I have to say that I would rate this book 10/10!

The fault in our stars is an amazing book that really connects with you on an emotional level so that we realise the importance of cancer awareness and the affect it has on people. The story is about Hazel and Gus, Hazel is a 17 year old girl with lung cancer and Gus is a 18 year old in remission. This is amazing story of Gus’ love for Hazel and her denial of her love for him. Hazel appears to be sicker than Gus but in the end it was the other way round. This is my favourite sad book just because it hits you so hard. I give it an 9/10

The fault in out stars, is such a beautiful book, thoughtful showing how it isn’t all bad, this movie really touched me and correctly, i just finished reading the book and although the movie was spectacular the book was just so much better! It is an award winning book, and its all about a cancer patient who meets another cancer patient in their road to recovery and they fall in love. There is a massive turn of events when one of them find cancer in their system, and it just demonstrates how you have to live your life to the fullest every day.
This has to be one of the saddest books I have ever read. But its hard to describe this book because it is so emotional and so much happens. you get so many feelings when reading this book but mostly the one emotion you have is sadness you cry a lot when reading this book and i mean a lot.
I definitely recommend this book for a more mature read! i rate it an 8 out of 10!

I don’t think children under 13 should read it because there is a lot of swearing including frequent uses of the F word. Sometimes I find myself thinking about this book and wondering about all the loose ends of the story. But it is a great novel. I recommend everybody read this book, and I’m sure you’ll find that you won’t be able to put it down until the very end. Hazel and Augustus are such an adorable couple and they have funny, sad and romantic moments together which makes this one of the best books I’ve read. 9/10

After reading the book and watching the movie, I can definitely say that the fault in our stars is definitely a book to read. John Green has beautifully written this book and throughout the book there was hardly any flaws to pick out. I definitely enjoyed reading the book more then watching the book, as the book had so many details and I was really able to connect with the characters better through the book. My favourite part of the book was the part where Hazel reads the eulogy to Augustus and Isaac. Although this may be classified as one of the saddest parts of the book, it was very well written, and was written with so much depth and emotion. My favourite character of the book was Augustus. His perfect manner and character throughout the whole book captured my heart, and even throughout his struggles, he still manages to be a sophisticated young man. If I could change something in the book, I would definitely change Augustus’ death, but it also makes the story what it needs to be for a solid finish. For sure I would recommend people reading this book. People of many ages would be able to read this book as it surely entrances people, and the writing style is definitely not too sophisticated to read. If you like romance and a bit of sadness thrown in there, this book is definitely for you.

The Fault in our Stars is a very touching yet eye opening read. It tells about a girl, Hazel, who has been battling the fight of cancer. I loved reading this book as it always kept me interested. My favourite part of the book was when Hazel met Augustus as he was my favourite character and had a cheesy personality which I loved. I really related to this story as many people in my family has cancer so I can relate to the people who have been around Hazel throughout her whole situation. If I could reccomend this story to anyone, I would definitely rate it a 10/10. The story line was just so great and had so many meaningful quotes. This was an average level of difficulty read and would recommend it for anyone in year 7 all the way through to adults.

My favourite part of the movie was when the three of them and went and egged Izaach’s ex-girlfriends house! Hilarious! My favourite character was Hazel Grace Lancaster she was smart, funny and kind. I can relate to Hazel because she experienced loss, and I have too. My least favourite part of the book was when they visited their favourite author and it was a disappointment. That part wasn’t good to Hazel or Augustus. I would not change anything, it was great! I would highly recommend this book to others. I rate this book and 9.95 out of 10! Great Book! ;))

“The Fault In Our Stars” is a book/movie is a very emotional story about a 16 year old girl Hazel Grace. Hazel was diagnosed with lung cancer when she was about 13 years old, but this didn’t mean that Hazel wasn’t a fighter, she was a survivor. Hazel mainly spent each day reading her favourite novel “an imperial affliction” written by Peter Van Houten, but her mother suggested that she should go to a support group for teens like her that have cancer. Hazel meets a 17 year old guy, Augustus Waters, who has cancer in his leg and they start to develop a deep connection with each other. Hazel and Gus decide to swap books as they have a passion for reading, they both start to contact the author of an imperial affliction and asks them questions but the author rejects them. Even though Hazel really wanted to meet the author she was still determined to do so and then his assistant invited them over to Amsterdam so they could get answers to there questions. I have to say my favourite character is Gus because he is very supportive and funny person that was really encouraging towards Hazel and I thought that was really sweet. I recommend this book to people ages 13 years and up and I rate this a 9/10

This book I tell you is the saddest thing you will need a tissue box next to you when you finish! John Green has written this story amazingly it is sooooo good. The fault in our starts is all about a young girl named Hazel. Hazel has cancer and is not able to go about her life normally at all. When Hazel goes to the Cancer Kid Support she meets Augustus Waters! Augustus is the cutest guy who is so genuine but he has a prosthetic leg. From here on Hazels story is rewritten and boy does it get good! Anyway I won’t spoil it but I recommend this to everyone and everyone who is ready to cry their eyes out! I rate this book a 10/10.

This is a must read! It is one of the most courageous books i’ve read! It has a beautiful story line staring a girl named Hazel who battles cancer. Hazel meets a boy name Augustus who supports her every part of the way, they battle together because Hazel has cancers and Augustus has a prosthetic leg. My favourite part of the book would be when Hazel meets Augustus, and at that moment it clicks! My favourite character is Hazel because she is an inspiration to any other reader, by the way she struggles through and keeps her head high. There were at lot of sad moments, but I don’t have a ‘least favourite part.’ I recommend this book to people around the high school ages. I would rate this book a 9/10.

The fault in our stars is a heartbreaking story of a girl in remission finding love and ultimately having her heart shattered. It brings to light the feelings and emotions of people who are facing cancer and the wish of these two teenagers to have “infinity within the numbered days.” It is also inspiring as it shows you do not need to live forever to have a full life and that love for those around you, conquers all. I also think that this novel is beautifully written by John Green and even though the way in which these teenagers speak could be seen as pretentious because normal teens don’t talk in this way, I still think it’s a really beautiful love story and many great quotes that can relate to everyday life come out of it. I would recommend teenagers reading this novel if you are looking to get some inspiration for everyday life, even your life seems mundane because through reading this you are able to appreciate everything, even the little things begin to life your life starting right now instead of “someday”.

John Green has done a fabulous job at writing this book and has included lots of romance and drama. I think that this is a beautiful love story about Hazel and Augustus (Gus).
Hazel’s mum suggests that she goes to a cancer support group. This is the place where she meets the gorgeous Gus! Gus and Hazel start off as friends but then their friendship blossoms into love. The story ended abruptly and very sadly. Warning: crying will be involved!!!

This is such a good book I loved reading this book. John Green is an amazing writer and he includes serious facts and information into a book so that we as children who may have not heard about them we can now understand how lucky we are to have a fully functioning body.

I absolutely loved the movie ‘The Fault in our stars’ but not the book to much. I had discovered the author John Green from some friends who read his books, the movie was about to come out so I decided to read the book. I took me a few weeks but was worth it in order to see the movie. However I recommend that you read this book as an older reader, I read it when I was in year seven and still struggled with many of the words. The words were large and very descriptive and hard to understand. But I believe that the characters were great and I loved the storyline. Even knowing the storyline is sad and very upsetting it is still very creative.

I really recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a touching or love story, this book is about a teenage girl that has cancer and is dying she has to go to support group to make friends and she tries to get her way out of support group every week but one day she turns to the stairs and bumps into a good looking boy and straight away they fall in love all through that session the good looking man stairs at her, and as you read more the story gets more and more addictive and in the end you don’t want to put it down.
My favourite part of this book was when Hazel went to her favourite author to see what happens at the end of her favourite book and when they turned up and the man wasn’t very nice and was rude so they left and went to a tourist place and it had lost of stairs and hazel can’t really go up stairs because of her cancer but she kept going because she is a fighter.
I think there isn’t really a age gap but over 12 would be best for anyone that wants to read it.

I absolutely love this book it is so deep and emotions are high. I recommend this book for 11-15 +. I wish there was another book because I still have so many more questions to ask like what about the parents are they still friends with Gus’s family? Does Hazel meet someone else? And what about Gus’s blind friend does he move on as well? There are so many more I would love to ask the writer about the book, but after all it isn’t real but this writer has written this book as though it real and it is an amazing story about staying strong and having resilience and believing in yourself.

I hope you can swim because you’ll be drowning in your tears after reading this book and once the waterworks start they won’t stop. Despite this I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. The saddest parts were often the best parts. Each character has qualities you will like, but Augustus was my favourite, his character was almost real to me and I could only dream there are more people out there with his qualities, funny and loving and a little deep with his metaphors. I’ve never experienced cancer in anyone close to me, but that didn’t stop me from making connections with the characters, especially when they’re so close to my age and I’d love to have a relationship like the one between Gus and Hazel. I wouldn’t change anything about the book, although a sad ending could be expected I wouldn’t change it to be anything different because it was a happy ending in it’s own way. I definitely recommend this book for anyone needing a good cry to cleanse the soul and escape reality.

Okay so heres a basic question….. have you read the fault in our stars? If you havn’t go read it right now! But first heres an insight….. The fault in our stars is a beautiful love story about how two “sick” people fall in love. This book is like no other its a sweet and sour ending which I LOVE! I love it how Augustus loves Hazel just how she is and he doesn’t want her to be like every other girl he just wants the real hazel which I think is sweet. I would recoment this book for 12-13 year olds.

I think the fault in our stars is an excellent book my favourite character was Hazel but as she got sick i liked her more. She had a dream and i really wanted her to for fill that dream but it was hard and i was happy when Gus came into the story and helped Hazel along the way. He was a very nice man and he loved Hazel as much as She loved hime but it was sad when Gus was then suffering because he wasn’t allowed to buy smokes even though he didn’t smoke. He was not well he was dying and then eventually he died. Hazel was heart broken by the love that was then lost. It was cute when Gus planned a little funeral thing and wrote a speech and all. Gus is a funny and caring man that has a joke every now and then but sometimes it was too far. This is a book that i don’t have a part that i dislike. I would recomend this book to people over the age of 12. I give this book a 9/10 it is a great book and i would highly recomend this book.

I would definitely recommend this amazing, sad book “The fault in our stars” to all teens and adults out there who love watching sad and inspirational movies out there. I believe this book was just inspiring and was beautiful to watch and get a different understanding of life when it comes to other people and there problems in life. It is about a teenage girl called Hazel who is sadly diagnosed with cancer and lives a life of struggle. Her Mother insisted she was to go to a support group with other people that are in the same sad problem and they each share their stories. She then soon meets a teenage boy called Augustus also known as Gus and they automatically have a connection. They become very good friends and it then turns into a love story between each other. They then go through series of events together and share there life with one another. My favourite part of the book is definitely when they first say to each other “ok”. That is there little sign/thing they always say to each other when they are saying goodbye. My favourite character would have to be Hazel because she is a very strong willed and powerful girl! This book definitely was one of my favourite and I could never put it down. I would rate it a 9.5/10!

I read this book over and over again, I would recommend it to anyone 12 and up. This book has a beautiful story line to it. Many people would think that these types of books are really cheesy but this one isn’t. I love the whole book and couldn’t pick a favourite part out of book, the novel also doesn’t have any bad parts in it which makes good. The whole book is very interesting and to me different from any other book I have read, I really enjoyed it and hope to find more books like it and even read more John Green book.

This is a great book because it can really relate to young people struggling with hardships and adversities. Not necessarily in the same form as Hazel, it may be mental illness, physical injuries or disabilities, but it’s great to have a really relatable character in a global phenomenon novel which captures true beauty in a gorgeous story. It is intelligently written with an appeal to our age group at a high school level and above, sparking a variety of emotions and easily brings a tear to the eye throughout the book. It also has an unexpected ending which may shock some readers, but overall beautifully written and resulted in a great movie. Highly recommend it 🙂

I would recommend the book the fault in our stars. This is by far one of my favourite books and I’m sure you will love it as much as i did. It was a very sad ending but the journey thy go on in the book sure does have its ups and downs of happiness and sadness. This book will defiantly make you cry and you will never get bored with it and will just want to keep reading on. I would give this book a 9/10 because I love it so much. I like how the storyline has a very unexpected twist at the end and something happens that you didn’t suspect. I also like how all the characters try the hardest to be happy even though they are dealing with cancer

This book is a lot like it’s movie. There are some slight differences that you can only experience in the book. I loved the characters and how John Green highlights their realism. This book was cleverly written and had that effect of never putting it down. I loved this book and would rate it 9/10 as it is much better to read than watch the movie. I would recommend for 12 and up as the language is a bit difficult.

I first heard about this novel, when the film came out. I went to see it however everyone was telling me the novel was better. Throughout the duration of the novel John Green illustrates the emotions of the novel which are very dramatic as many of the characters face hardships whilst capturing passion and love. This book instantly had me in tears, with lots of tissues. Hazel Grace Lancaster desperately wants to mitigate the harm caused by her existence on Earth. However love gives Hazel another reason to live. This book is great to read. Overall I give this novel a 4.5/5

I remember when I read this book everyone was talking about John Green, and I can definitely say the book lived up to the hype! I absolutely adored this book, and found it to be written so beautifully and expressively. Even though this book is a massive tear jerker, I also found it to be really funny and happy at times, making it a very diverse book that pretty much everyone will enjoy. I would however recommend it to people 13 and over as there is some themes that may be hard for young people to understand, as well as some difficult vocabulary. Overall, this book is definitely worth reading, and is put down as one of my must reads! 10/10

The Fault in our stars is one of my all time favourite books! It is written so beautifully capturing love and life. This book is about two teenage both with illness who meet each other and soon fall in love with each other. My favourite character would have to be Issac because he is really funny and caring towards his friends and there relationship. This book is also not just you typical boy meets girl they fall in love and live happily ever after. This book really is about life and how it’s such a crazy rollercoaster. I would rate this book an 9 out of 10 because it was a great read and not too long, also the characters seem so real and is a great romantic drama book. This book is for the ages 13 as people older would understand the book as there is some difficult words in the book. Overall this is a fantastic book which will make u both laugh and cry!!! The Fault In Out Stars is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read! It was really sad but still really good! My favourite part in the book would have to be when they meet because it’s really cute and it cheers Hazel up, and of course it’s the start of something huge that happens in her life. My favourite character is Isaac because he is really funny and brings a comical side to the book, which you need because it’s so sad. If I could change anything in the book it would be that Augustus doesn’t die, but I suppose that’s what makes it such a popular book because if that shock ending, but its just so sad!! I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a teenage romance and who is prepared to cry!! I give it a 9/10!

The Fault in our Stars is an emotionally gripping tale of two cancer patients. It follows their dramatic love story and all the ups and downs in their relationships. Their love and passion for one another is unbreakable. It is about sticking through the hard times and celebrating the good. Each character was strong mentally and could rely on another for support. When reading this novel, I really got a feel for the thoughts of each character and I tried to put myself in their shoes.
John Green is an amazing author who can capture and portray the essence of emotion. He captures so much passion and love and makes his characters as their own individual self. They all have their strengths and limitations.
I thought the fault in our stars was a gripping and compelling story of love, friendship and conquering hardships. It is a wonderful book that I would recommend to anybody wanting an emotion novel or up for a good cry. I would rate this book a 9 out of 10.

This is a really sad book but it is a really book, when I I started reading it and couldn’t put it down. The charters are really and really interesting. My favourite charters are Hazels parents because they are being really supportive and takes care of her a lot. Its about a girl called Hazel and she has cancer that makes her lungs not work properly so she has to carry a oxygen tank everywhere she goes. My least favourite bit is when the charter dies and my favourite bit is when hazel and augustus meet. I recommend this book to this everyone and rate this book a 10/10

The plot was very well done and deep. The characters were amazing and very well developed but as well as this they were truly human. The quote on the front is 100% correct. I recommend this book for ages 12+. Also I give it a 10/10!

My favourite part of this book is when Hazel Grace finally meets someone who is Augustus Waters and they make up their word ‘Okay’
My favourite characters are Hazel Grace’s parents because they are so supportive of Hazel and care so much about her as all parents would about their children.
My least favourite part is the saddest part of the book but I won’t give it away.
I wouldn’t change this book in anyway because it is so good

I liked this book because it had a really good story and it’s the saddest story I have ever read. It is about a girl named Hazel and she has cancer. Hazel goes to a cancer support group and meets Augustus Waters. She falls head over heels in love but something goes wrong and suddenly things start changing. My favourite part of the book was when they went to the Anne Frank House it was romantic and beautiful. My favourite character was Hazel because she didn’t have much going on but when she met Augustus everything changed but something happened that left her heartbroken and she fixed herself up. I think she is brave, funny, caring and loyal. I can’t relate to any of the characters because I haven’t felt what they have felt but I know that people that have cancer can probably relate to them. My least favourite part was when one of the characters died I was literally crying even though I wasn’t even there. I grew attached to the characters and when he died I was crying my eyes out. If I could change something in the book I would make it that one of the characters live instead of dying but then the story would be different and not as beautiful. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a book with a sad but beautiful story. I would say anyone could read this book but it is for a bit more mature audience.

The Fault In our Stars is an amazingly fantastic book about two teenagers who meet at a cancer gathering and fall in love. It is about their ups, their downs and the way their love grows throughout the book. We can see the love and friendship changes each character in the book, strengthens them and literally keeps them alive. The ending of this tragic but beautiful story of Augustus and Hazel, is heart warming and precious, the only downside to it is that it may cause you to run out of tissue boxes. The quotes in this book are amazing, the lessons in it are unbelievable. I think the story will change the hearts of people who read it, and also change the opinions and thoughts about people with the awful disease of cancer. 10 out of 10!

The fault in our stars is an amazing book that really connects with you an emotional level so that we realise the importance of cancer awareness and the affect it has on people. The story is about Hazel and Gus, Hazel is a 17 year old girl with lung cancer and Gus is a 18 year old in remission. This is amazing story of Gus’ love for Hazel and her denial of her love for him. Hazel appears to be sicker than Gus but in the end it was the other way round. This is my favourite sad book just because it hits you so hard.

I read the book fault in our stars before I watched the movie and I think the book is much better. I found that in the book I could really feel what they were feeling and relate to the book. This book is funny and very, very sad.
I loved Gus he had a big heart and was very funny.
When I was reading the book I thought Hazel was going to die but it was big shock, twist when it was Gus that actually died. When he passed away I had a few drops of water run down my face. This is my favourite sad movie and it think most people have seen it but if you haven’t seen it go and watch it now. It is very emotional but great at the same time. I recommend this to every one.

I don’t usually cry. Especially in movies and books but how can you not cry about this perfect couple who love each other dearly. The book starts off with Hazel having to go to a cancer support group where she meets her love of her life GUS! he is the perfect man to her and treats her well and they fall deeply involve but the some ups and downs happen like a roller coaster things fly along fine and then it hits unexpectedly. I love this book and I can’t pick who I love more Hazel or Gus. I think this is because they are perfect for each other they can both have different mind sets at different occasions but they seem to be fine in the click of a finger Hazel has a few issues when she meets Gus because she doesn’t want to break her heart or his because she thinks she is like a bomb that can explode any second! I love these two together and I recommend this for anyone it just simply truly amazing!

The Fault in Now Stars is one of the best books I have ever read. Even though it’s really sad its amazing. I can’t believe that Gus had to die and why Hazle and Gus both had to have cancer. One of the parts that made me really sad and made me cry was when Gus had told Hazle that he was dieing and he had a certain time of period to live. I was like OMG this is so sad. I wanted to put the book down and never read it again and don’t keep going on. But I wanted to had to. Then when I had read that he had died right on that spot I had felt really sorry for Hazle and that had made me cry even more. I was so upset and shocked about Gus and that he wasn’t there anymore. The thing that had worried me was the person who had wrote the book that Hazel had loved to read. That scene was just disgraceful. I did not enjoy that part. I rate this book 10/10

I can admit im not one to read a lot of books, but reading this book i never wanted it to end it was by far one of the most amazing books i have ever read. Everything about it made me want never put it down from the characters to the story line dead set incredible.with a romantic cute story line with a slight edge of sadness it will having you wanting more which is what lead me to the movie. i recommend this book to anybody who likes this genre or even just looking for a good read promised to give you a good time. i rate this book full 10 out of 10

With romance and sadness, I would recommend this book for anyone. My mum bought me the book for my birthday last year and I have already read it twice since then. I can’t even explain how good this novel is and I have already started reading other books by John Green.

I find this book inspiring because Hazel is so strong and always thinking positive even if she is going through tough times. The author John Green has written this so perfectly. This book is honestly one of my favourites books. Who wouldn’t recommend it. Its got drama, romance, friendship and you will cry and laugh at chapters. Hazel has cancer and she meets Gus. I love how the author (John Green) has written the book in a way that shows how a teenager living with cancer would most likely feel about and view the world. I also love how he managed to create a connection between the person reading the book and the characters, and even though most people who have read the book probably have got no idea what it feels like to be a teenager living with cancer, they can feel every moment of pain and happiness from both Hazel and Gus. I think that this is such a beautiful book and will give you a real appreciation for your life and the people around you. I was absolutely hooked on this book and couldn’t put it down from the moment that I picked it up and started reading it. I would definitely recommend this book to anybody that is looking for a good read and I think that it is more suited to girls that are aged about 12/13+.

This book isn’t any book, its a book where you really feel Gus and Hazels pain, its like your them and your living there life slowing dying each day, and finally you after waiting Hazel meets a guy but someone who knows what its like to have Cancer, they become closer in friendship and Hazel and Gus get invited to go to Amsterdam and see a amazing author and see wonderful sights, i don’t wont to spoil the book but its jam packed with romance, drama, friendship, you will also cry and laugh so may i suggest a box of tissues because i cried. Who wouldn’t recommend this book? I absolutely fell in love with it on the first page, follow Hazel and Augustus on their journey of love. Hazel has cancer and Augustus has one leg but it doesn’t affect them! It has a lot of romance, drama, emotion and comedy to make you laugh and cry. It has a really good message! This is an absolutely stunning novel that left me wanting more. You definitely need a pack of tissues by the bed. John Green has written this novel in way which all teens and young adults can relate to. It is very easy to form a relationship with the characters and I was left missing them once I finished reading the book.
This novel is about a young cancer sufferer, but the book is not consumed by cancer talk. Hazel is just trying to live her life, as any healthy teen would – it’s just a little more difficult. She meets Augustus at the cancer support group, where they form an immediate connection.
I love all the characters and they each add something different to the dynamics of the story. I would have difficulty choosing a favourite!!
I enjoyed every moment of this book. It is not too long and the style of writing is not too heavy so it is quite easy to read.
This book is definitely worth reading, but be warned that lots of crying may be involved.
I think this book suits 13 – early 20 year old, but anyone can enjoy it. I rate this book 5 stars out of 5!! Make sure you read it!!

Honestly the worst book I have ever read only because I still haven’t emotional recovered. I have been a fan of John’s for years following him and his brothers vlogs and I was there when he announced the book and again when he announced the movie. It is a book that you will read and then have to sit on the end of your bed for about 3 and a half years crying your eyes out only because you can’t wrap your head around it. When you finally recover from the traumatic experience that is “The Fault in Our Stars”, you will come away will a real sense of appreciation not only for your life but the lives of those who you hold dear to you. I can honestly say this book changed me as a 12 year old when I first read it when it came out and it has still changed me to this day. I know a few people don’t want to read it only because of the sudden hype surrounding the movie adaptation but I still strongly recommend it if you want to be emotionally scared for life.

This book is my favourite book of all time. And I am NOT exaggerating! The story is about a girl named Hazel. She is diagnosed with cancer in her lungs at a young age, and now survives with one lung. This captivating novel bought me to floods of tears (Honestly, I cried non-stop for an hour) so if you are into a bit of romance or comedy or tear jerkers, this is the perfect book for you. Hazel meets this boy named Augustus Waters at her support group. Gus used to have cancer, but sacrificed his leg to get rid of it. This heart-warming story leads you on an emotional roller coaster – you will cry, smile and laugh as John Green takes you on a journey you will never forget. A hands down 5 out of 5!

This book follows 16 year old Hazel who has terminal stage 4 thyroid cancer with metastasis forming in her lungs and all she wants is to live a normal life which seems practically impossible. While she attends a cancer support group recommended by her parents and her doctor, she meets a boy called Augustus. Even know he lost his leg to cancer he still has a higher survival rate than Hazel Grace.
Hazel and Augustas become inseparable. The basis of there relationship is off Hazel’s favourite book An Imperial Affliction. They both read the book and love it as they can relate to the main character Anna who has a rare form of blood cancer, but the book leaves them with many questions unanswered questions like what happens to the characters in the end.
They join together to find the author Peter Van Houten and get there questions answered and Augustus is even willing to give up his wish to take Hazel to Amsterdam and have the questions answered.
What happened after this is up to you to find out. I loved this book and I could not put it down. I rate this book 5/5

I Absolutely loved this book!!! Hazel Grace was such a warm hearted character and would never loose her determantion she just kept fighting. She was diagnosed at the age of 13 and was forced to carry around a oxygen tank to support her lungs, or basically keep her alive. Her mum wanted her to live her life make friends and do as much as could with the time she had left. So her mum forced her to go to this support group where people with cancer talked about there feelings and how they were going.That’s is when the beautiful augustus waters comes into the picture. Sitting there fliring with Hazel is the start of a friendship that blossoms into a romance. It’s such an emotional book and when you read the book you feel like you are hazel, you feel as though your lungs are failing you feel as though you fall in love with Augustus. It is such a page turner and i recommend it to 13+!!!!!!!

This book reduced me too tears. John Green is a brilliant writer and is so poetic and philosophical in his writing. He points out the major issues in life and can prove to you that you life is so much more than what we think. Its about finding someone who will treat you right and understands you, caring for everyone around you and knowing who you can trust. John Green expresses all those different feelings in this book and in such a beautiful way. I recommend it to young adults and I rate it 10/10!

The tragic love story between Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters will leave you gasping for breath and asking for more. Hazel is unfortunately diagnosed with lung cancer. Even though her time is limited Augustus continues to take her heart every single day. They meet at a cancer support group and ever since Augustus tries to be the apple in her eye. After so many different events in ends with a twist which I think is both my favourite and least favourite part.

The Fault in our stars is an engrossing, interesting and well written book. This book uses a serious situation of cancer to capture our hearts. The romantic love story between Augustus and Hazel and how it all can change in an instant when cancer is involved. My favourite character is Augustus as even when his cancer returned he didn’t think about himself, he thought about the one he loved and went to Amsterdam with her. My favourite part of the book is when they want out for dinner in Amsterdam as I thought this was really romantic an cute. My least favourite part of the book is when they said their funeral speeches to Augustus and it was really sad and emotional. I rate this book 9/10 and recommend this to ages 13 and above.

The Fault In Our Stars is a very inspiring story based on a young women called Hazel. Hazel is described really well throughout the book and is a real heart stopper. The fault in our stars is a true love story between two young adults who both have some sort of medical condition. Read this book I truly reccomend it. 9/10

This is the greatest book of all time. Its a very sad book and its also a very sad movie to watch. My favourite character in the book is hazel because she has a big opened heart and thats what I love about this book, she lets everything out that she needs to let out. I give the book a 10/10 because it is written well and has a lot of emotions and feelings into the book. I give the movie a 9/10 because the book had more information than the movie and I maybe the directors should of add everything that was in the book not just some parts but if you haven’t read the book or seen the movie, watch and read the fault in our stars, TEAM HAZEL!!!

I loved the movie too but personally I think that the book is better because there is just more in it. This is the most beautiful book… Both sad, up lifting and just touches you and makes you feel so lucky with what you have. The characters were beautiful in the book, I immediately sympathised with them and felt as though I knew them. Hazel and Gus, keep fighting even when things seem hopeless. It is the most beautiful love story. I fell in love with Gus. This book definitely deserves 5 stars, you cannot put it down once you start and once it ends I can assure you will have some tears in your eyes. If I was you I would definitely read the book, even if you have watched the movie.

I absolutely loved the book “The Fault in Our Stars” it was a bunch of mix emotions throughout the whole movie, sad, nervous, happy, greatful and so much more.
I definitely would recommend this book for people who like a bit of romance and emotion.
I adored all the characters in this book and thought they were all very inspirational. Hazel and Gus i thought shared a very important message to just keep fighting.
Sometimes you just didn’t know what you were feeling, you wanted to laugh, then cry and sometimes you wanted to be angry.
Overall this is an amazing and very inspirational book and i would definitely recommened this book because you learn a lot from it and you just cannot put it down!

The Fault in our Stars is a wonderful book with loveable characters. The storyline is really great and the plot twists are very unexpected. I heard of this book from the internet. At the time I wasn’t expecting much but I was very wrong. I cried while reading it because it is SO well written. John Green is an amazing author with really great writing skills. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves romance and plot twists. There are many other books by John Green, because I’ve read quite a lot of them. The movie was a great representation of the book.

The fault in our stars is an amazing book! I loved the characters and their personalities and the story line is one that is easy to follow and loveable. I really liked this book and I think it was because I read it before everyone started talking about it so my expectations weren’t high. This book made me cry and I simply had to shut it and embrace the sadness and greatness of the story. John Green is an excellent author and I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a love story but with surprising twists. I would rate this book a 8/10 i really loved it and the movie was great to.

– I had to read the fault in our stars for school and when I got assigned to read it I heard it was good but after I read it I think it was underestimated because this book was amazing. The story line was put together exceptionally well and even though its not a happy movie that everyone wants to watch it was sad movie. However that was okay because it really made you think about how it would feel to be Hazel Grace or Augustus waters and having to wake up every morning knowing that you could die any second. I would highly recommend this book because even though you think you know what events will occur you could never guess how the book ends and how addicting it is to read. The fault in our stars is an emotional but exciting and loving journey of a girl, Hazel Grace who has cancer and is horribly sick. She mets the love of her life, Augustus (Gus) at a cancer support group. They instantly connect and from there on their love gets stronger. Gus is also sick and has a terrible cancer. Either of them could die soon, but instead they choose to focus on the present and always hang around each other. They are both positive and loving people that sure the same dream. Chasing their dream became an issue but as soon they it was over they flew to Paris and had an amazing adventure. This is a sad book but also is filled with happiness and a few laughs. I love this book because it captures the moment of love and romance. I reccomend this book to people 12 + and give it a 10/10. You will need lots of tissues too!

This is such an wonderful story full of lots of exciting, happy, sad and emotional feelings that hit you all at the same time. The story line is just so inspiring and heart felt as it helps us realise how lucky we are! I loved reading the book as it is about a girl called Hazel Grace who’s goes through an epic journey tho she isn’t actually sick with cancer but experiences new things like falling in love! Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters are the two main characters.I would defiantly recommend reading this book and watching the movies are they are equally both great! (It doesn’t matter which one you read or watch first because you will still enjoy them) This story is so sad but happy as well in some parts! This is defiantly a must read book and a must see movie as it has so many ups and down along the way! I recommend this movie to people who love soppy heartfelt stories!

The Fault in Our Stars is another John Green classic. It has everyone I know raving about it, and I can understand why as the love story between Hazel and Gus is really cute and Gus is so sweet.
I thought this book was superbly written, and nothing less than what you would expect from an author like John Green. I enjoyed reading this book as it was easy to follow and had a good story line. However even though I really enjoyed it I thought that it was not all that it was made out to be. I personally found that many of the other John Green books were up to the same standard and I think that it has mostly been so popular because of the teenage love story. I think I was a little let down by this, however this is most likely because I had high expectations from the beginning.
Despite this it would still be a book I would come back to. You fall in love with the characters and the twists and turns of the novel really play on your emotions. I like the way this book has been written because it has a quirky style and is not your typical straight forward read.
I would rate this book an 8/10, definitely give it a read!

I recommend fault in our stars it is so emotional and has so many highs and lows but is worth it in the end, it is about two young people finding each other and falling in love the only thing is they are both cancer patients who find each other at a meeting have a great connection and bond over a book, they then go to Amsterdam to visit the author of the book and find out that he is mean and didn’t want them there his assistant brang them here, the happiness shortly ends when Gus tells Hazel that the has cancer again. It end in disaster when Gus passes away and Hazel is Heart broken. My favourite character is Gus because he is always happy and making Hazel happy even though rough times. I love this movie and book no matter how emotional.

This book amazes me. How could John Green explain cancer so well without even having it? This book is about the ever so deep love between Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters. The book is amazing when Hazel and Gus meet at support group thats when the book hits you and you start to really get into it. John Green explains how life is hard with cancer and how even though you can be feeling the worst of worsts and then you day can just light up. Hazels light was Gus. Gus took her out made her feel special told her she was beautiful and John Green wrote about a man every girl fell in love with. As there is a plot twist in the book this book stands out to me because its not typical its different. The only thing i can think of that is wrong with this book is that the movie isn’t nearly as good as the book which happens a lot but it really upsets me that this was the case for ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ However the book is amazing i rate it 8/10 and recumbent it to 13+ as there is a bit of kissing and stuff.

The Fault in Our Stars is a touching, emotional book with a heart warming and heart breaking story. Hazel Grace Lancaster was diagnosed with lung cancer when she was 13, meaning that she needs to carry an oxygen tank around with her where ever she goes. She has had to deal with medical scans, meetings and check ups for a long time. Hazel finds her life pretty dull, until she meets the charming, beautiful, one legged Augustus Waters at support group. Hazel and Gus get on really well, and both share a strong love for the book “An Imperial Infliction”. This book has caused both of them grief, for it finishes in the middle of a sentence. With Hazel’s brains and Augustus’ charm, they eventually take the opportunity to travel to Amsterdam to meet the author of the book. But things don’t stay happy for ever… Personally, I found the book quite depressing and didn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to, and I actually prefer the movie. If the book doesn’t grab you, the movie definitely will! I rate The Fault in Our Stars 8/10 and recommend it for people 12+ or just looking for a touching contemporary read.

I love reading about Hazel’s journey through not only being sick with cancer but also with experiencing new things and falling in love!! I would defiantly recommend reading the book and also watching the movie, both are great! It doesn’t matter whether you read or watch the movie first, you will still really enjoy it. In the book and movie Hazel Grace and augustus waters are the main characters, they are both teenagers. Hazel has cancer that she got when she was only a young teenager, Augustus had cancer and had to get part of his leg cut off because of it. They meat each other at a help session for people who have or have had cancer! They fall in love and go on many journeys together. This story is so sad but happy as well in some parts! It is defiantly a must read…or you must see the movie. From what I have heard everybody loves it, so i’m sure you would too!

The Fault In Our Stars was a really good read. This was my first time reading a John Green novel and he did not fail to impress me, after reading The Fault In Our Stars I finally understood why everyone raved about John Green. My favourite characters in TFIOS are Hazel and Isaac. Even though Isaac is not really one of the main characters in the book, he still plays an important part in the life of Hazel and Gus. Through Isaac we can see how the loss of an important sense such as sight can change your entire life. Hazel is my other favourite character because she’s so intelligent, and the way she expresses her thoughts (although quite complex) make sense to me. Even though I can not say that I have had the unfortunate experience of being diagnosed with cancer, Hazel makes her life relatable to even the healthiest of people. John Green portrays Hazel as someone who can easily make people feel empathetic. I rate this book 10/10, pretty much changed my life.

Needless to say, John Green is a genius. The Fault In Our Stars to me started off a bit slow, but by the end I couldn’t put the book down for anything in the world. I recommend the book, “The fault in our stars”. I think I was a beautiful story. It is about a teenage girl named Hazel who has had cancer and now has to carry around an oxygen tank to help her breath. Hazels mum tries to make her go to a support group where other people who have had cancer share their stories. That is when and where she met Augustus. Hazel and Augustus (Gus) soon become very close friends, and it turns into love throughout the story. My favourite part of the book was when they went on a trip to find their favourite author they loved since they were little. My favourite character was Augustus, he was a really sweet and tried to make hazel feel good, he was quite funny with the things that he said. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone but may have to be older then 12 because it might be too confusing. I give it a 10/10

Fault In our Stars is an amazingly fantastic book about two teenagers who meet at a cancer gathering and fall in love. It is about their ups, their downs and the way their love grows throughout the book. We can see the love and friendship changes each character in the book, strengthens them and literally keeps them alive. The ending of this tragic but beautiful story of Augustus and Hazel, is heart warming and precious, the only downside to it is that it may cause you to run out of tissue boxes. The quotes in this book are amazing, the lessons in it are unbelievable. I think the story will change the hearts of people who read it, and also change the opinions and thoughts about people with the awful disease of cancer. 10 out of 10!.

It is written by John Green who is an amazing writer. My favourite character in this book is definitely Augustus because he is a very unique character. I would recommend this book to people over 12 as it has some medical terms included. This book was one of the bests books Ive ever read and brought me to tears numerous times. The Fault In Our Stars is an emotional book, you will be the happiest you have ever been in one part and the next moment you will be a ship-wreck, crying again and again. I have read the book over 8 times and it still gets to me every time even though I know it is coming up. Hazel and Augustus’ relationship is the cutest relationship ever, they have been though thick and thin and they still care and will go through anything as long as they are together. Although Hazel didn’t believe in this relationship working in the start, she finally starts to realise that she is the happiest she has ever been when with Augustus.This book just makes you realise all the small things in life that you should really take notice of because some people don’t have the life you have. This book has really brought me to my senses. I rate this book a 10/10.

I absolutely loved this book! It is so emotional and action packed, but such a tear jerker! I could not put this book down after I started reading it. The main characters, Augustus Waters and Hazel (Grace) Lancaster, have an amazing and adorable relationship. Hazel has a rare case of cancer in her lungs, where as Augustus had his leg amputated to get rid of the cancer in there. Augustus instantly fell in love with Hazel, but Hazel refused to let herself fall for him, because as she says, she is a grenade. Hazel feels she is responsible to minimise the amount of deaths caused by her, by being a vegetarian. She also feels that she should try to not make any permanent relationships so that she will not hurt anyone. Overall this is an absolutely incredible book!!!! 10/10 for sure.

I recommend this book to almost anyone only be sure to have a box of tissues with you! It’s such a tear jerker! Hazel has a rare case of cancer and often refers to her self as the side effect which she believes is very true. Soon enough though she meets a boy at the support group her mum and dad make her go to. Straight away the boy (Augustust Waters) falls in love with her but she won’t let her self have feelings for him because she believes that she is a grenade! (odd adjective I know). This is her telling Augustust that one day she is going to get really sick and hurt the people that cared for her so she feels it’s her responsibility to make sure not alot of people are hurt. Also the movie is amazing but I wouldn’t say it’s better than the book. Really a beautiful book 🙂

This is an amazing and heart melting book of love and sickness. At the beginning of the book you meet Hazel Grace who is terminally ill suffering from cancer. She is not your normal teenager she doesn’t attend school usually sits at home and watches t.v. or reads her favourite book the Imperial Affliction. It is until she meets Augustus Waters at her cancer support group when he life turns around. As they get bought closer and closer together there is a sudden twist which will surprise you very much. This book is a tear jerked so I would be having a box of tissues next to you when you read. Although it contains so adult content, it’s the best book I have ever read. I give this book 10 / 10!

This is a very meaningful and sad book. A sixteen yearold girl called Hazel suffers with a type of lung cancer and is forced to go to cancer support group. When she gets there she meets a buy called Agustes Waters. Together, they fall in love. They have an understanding of each other and what it’s like to be diagnosed. they also have there own metaphorical language. It is a beautiful story and I think that everyone would love it. I don’t have a favourite character because I love them all. They all bring something different to the book and to choose just one would be cruel. I do love Augustus Waters. I think that the way he treats Hazel is exactly how every girl wants to be treated. I think that everyone should read this books. It is a little confronting the way that Hazel talks about her life, but there are so many wonderful messages in the book that everyone could take into their own life. It can really relate to everyone, and it’s definitely changed how I think of things. John Green has done a wonderful job. 10/10

Hazel Grace is a girl that doesn’t think like most teenagers her age would, she thinks about things more deep than others would. She believes that everything is a side affect of dying. This book would have to be the most amazing book I have ever read. This made me burst into tears but then made me burst out laughing. My favourite part of this story would have to be when they meet. It is so cute how they talk to each other awkwardly and how they learn to love each other. I love how Hazel and Gus go to Amsterdam together and form an amazing relationship. This story broke my heart but it is the most incredible story ever!!! I would read this book everyday of my life if I had time. You must read this book, it is flawless

i nearly started crying after i read this book and i was so upset it was over i just loved it i kept on wanting to know more it was great knowing that they were happy together although i dont recommend it to little kids as it has mature things that is not very appropriate for little kids. I loved this book. It is one of my favourites and I would read it over and over again. The novel told the story of a young girl who had cancer and met a boy who had been cured from cancer. It is a romantic book that was funny but quite sad as well. I don’t have a favourite part however, I like the scenario where Augustus and Hazel Grace meet after a cancer session. Augustus was holding a cigarette and Hazel said that she wouldn’t date anyone that smokes because she doesn’t understand how someone who has cancer could still put their life at risk. Then comes one of my favourite quotes, Augustus says, “It’s a metaphor, you put the killing thing right between your teeth but you don’t give it the power to do its killing”. My favourite character was Hazel Grace. I liked her and Augustus together because they were so cute and enjoyed each others company. She held her head up high and didn’t let anything (cancer) get in her way. I can’t relate to anyone in particular but I knew a man that suddenly got a brain tumour and slowly passed away. I wouldn’t change the book in any way. I loved the humour and the emotional parts as well. I would definitely recommend this book because it is really inspirational. I would recommend it for the ages of 13+ because it does have some sexual descriptions and a tiny bit of swearing but overall it is an amazing book! As I have said, I have read it a couple times now and would happily read it again! I would rate it 9.5/10!!!

Let me tell you that if you are not into sad books then you definitely should not read this. It is a really touching story and John Green has definitely done this very well. It is written in the perspective of a teenager with cancer which makes it even more emotional to read. My favourite scene was when Gus and Hazel met because he is so sweet and the way the author has written it has just topped it all off! This was a novel that I was coxed into reading by my friends as it is not the kind of genre of book I would usually read. But what can I say, when you read a book in 5 hours straight nothing more can be said. This is a novel set inside the life of a young teenage girl – hazel lancaster. Hazel has a lung problem and John Green sends on an extreme ride through year of her life, through her ups and downs alongside friends, family and a boyfriend. It was an emotional roller coaster and at the mention of it I just melt – you feel soooo much in the reading of this book and I salute my hat to john green in his successful studies of how much the hearty can feel and take in so short of a amount of time. I cannot comprehend how the movie could ever delve so deep into the human heart the way this author has – if anything, it will either scratch the surface or prove john green’s studies wrong.

How do I even begin to talk about ‘The Fault In Our Stars’, it was one of the most beautiful books I have ever read and even though it is about cancer it is incredible and sad but funny all at the same time. My favourite character is of course Augustus because he is so gorgeous and is so positive and always tries to cheer Hazel up and they are just so cute! My favourite part of the book was when they went to Amsterdam because I think it was so nice to Gus to give up his wish for Hazel and it was a good escape for them to just forget all about being sick. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a beautiful love story but also who enjoys sad books because it is very sad. The book is full of sadness, hope and love, I would recommend it to anyone aged 12+. This book is written from the heart and is full of romance, action and adventure. It is truly an inspirational book that I could read over and over again. I loved it and I know you will too.

OMG this is the best book ever!!! i am currently reading it at the moment and its amazing. so far there has been many parts in the book that made me laugh, I also love Hazel but its so sad to see her at that age in her state. Everyone must read this book and i know i don’t have much to say about it because i haven’t finished it yet but man it is the most saddest but funniest book i have READ!!!!! 10/10

‘The fault in our stars’ is an eye opening, heart warming book. Its raw and upfront, which is what I loved about it. You genuinely feel in love with the characters for who they are.
Yes, its sad and yes I guarantee you will cry at one point or another. But its also really funny and an extremely enjoyable read at times.
It totally changed my life. It opens up your eyes to the topic of death and that life isn’t perfect it also tells the tale of an unlikely love story between Hazel and Augustus who are both victims of cancer. Although Gus is clear of his cancer, he makes it his job to show Hazel how to enjoy being alive and fall in love.
I can say all this keeping in mind that this isn’t normally I book I would pick up. But I heard nothing but good things about it and decided one day to start reading it.
Best decision I could have possibly made.
John Green as pulled off what is one of the most inspirational and iconic book of our age.
Can’t wait for the movie!

This book is so wonderful. It is beautiful and heart warming!! The characters all have such a depth and are really amazing! Everyone was telling me how excellent it is but when I read it I understood what they were on about. Halfway through the book I partly wanted to stop reading as to never finish it; But I really needed to know what happens! I recommend this book to anyone who loves books and wants to enjoy a really good one!! I would give it a 10/10 because its just that good! I’m so excited for the movie!

This book left me in a puddle of tears! I recommend it 10000000%. The Fault in our stars is a very thought provoking book. The storyline was interesting and I couldn’t put it down. But the plot was very well done and deep. The characters were amazing and very well developed but as well as this they were truly human. The quote on the front is 100% correct. I recommend this book for ages 12+.

This book was absolutely amazing and one of the best I’ve ever read. My the end of the book I was moved by it. It was so beautifully written and I don’t understand how anyone couldn’t like it. My favourite part of this book was when Augustus told Hazel and Isaac to write eulogies so he could attend his own post-funeral. I was in tears when Hazel and Isaac were reading out their pieces. I love all the characters because they all have something uniquely special about them, but my three favourites are Augustus because of his amazing personality, the way he treats Hazel and the way he never gives up until he gets her. I love Isaac for his determination for losing his eyesite and humour. And last of all Hazel because of her outlook on life and her attitude towards cancer and living with it. I loved the whole book and I couldn’t find a fault within it. I wouldn’t change anything about this book because it is amazing, as much as I don’t want something to happen to someone at the end, the ending is really what tops it off. I would recommend it to anyone 13 and over and I would rate it 10/10!! 😀

This was one of the best books I have ever read. It was an amazing story with an incredible storyline. The characters were amazing too, they were also very interesting. I could read this book so many more times because it was so good.
I liked all the characters especially Augustus.
I can’t wait for the movie to come out because I am sure it will be amazing if not even more amazing than the book.

i am at the moment in the middle of this book and i have to say i can not put it down. it’s so emotional and touching and theres so much excitement on every page. Hazel is a great character because she dose not let cancer get in the way of her and be all she thinks about. Augusts is such sweet and caring character especially to hazel and has a sense of humour. John Grenn this would have to be the best book of all time, and i can’t wait to see it as a movie.

The BEST book I’ve ever read, I balled my eyes out acted just like the quote said at the front of the book “You cry, you laugh, then you come back for more!” I’ve actually watched the trailer about 100 times! I’m just counting down the days until the movie comes out! It’s so heart warming. One of the best books by one of the best authors of our time! It was written so well! Sarcasm, wit, irony, emotion, all wrapped up in a little bundle of pages.

The Fault In Our Stars is by far one of the best books I’ve ever read. I really enjoyed it, and it’s one of the many books I finished in under a week. It explains the struggle of Hazel and Augustus throughout they’re journey of knowing each other. My favourite part of this book would have to be at the very end because it shows how much they loved each other even though they’re difficulties they have faced together. I can not choose on favourite character as each person has a special role to play. On a personal level I can not relate to any of these characters but I could feel their emotions due to how well John Green has written the book. I would recommend to anyone willing to read it to read this book before the movie comes out. I rate this book a 10/10!

The Fault in Our Stars
This was probably the most moving book I have ever read. It had it all and by the end it had me and both tears and laughter. The story is of two teenagers who are sick and blossom a love for one another. My favourite part is when one of the main characters Gus takes Hazel on a romantic holiday which is a wish a life long wish for Hazel. My favourite character was Gus because he is every girls dream guy and he was so sweet to Hazel. I feel I can relate to the characters because they are similar age bracket to me and they both experienced their first love which is something I have to look forward too. Although the story is sad, it ends on a good note and didn’t not like one part about it. I would recommend this book to people who are interested in a love story because it’s something that is relatable and explores the true meaning to love someone.

I recommend the book The Fault in our Stars. This book makes you feel happy, sad, energetic and the Author really makes you feel like you are in / part of the book. My favourite part of this book was when Hazel and Augustus met each other. This book is about a girl named Hazel. She has cancer, and goes to a special group where other kids that have cancer (ages 16 – 19) go to. One day when Hazel goes to support group, she meets a guy named Augustus Waters who starts crushing on her. This boy will change her life forever. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good book about love, happiness and sadness. This is the best book I have ever read and I rate it a 10/10.

The Fault in our Stars… Where do I begin. I haven’t even finished the book and I am in love with it! I can’t wait to finish this book but I don’t want it to end. Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel’s other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group. I love this book because it just pulled me right in after the first word. I do not what John Green did but he just made me fall in love with him and his book! I love the fact that Augustus Waters loves Hazel just the way she is and nothing can change it. He is my favourite character because I like how he think, acts and how he is going to use his wish to take Hazel to see Peter Van Houten.

I have not long finished this book and I can gladly say that it is probably one of the best books i’ve ever read! Though the story may be a bit sad and not for everyone it is still such an amazing book. The characters in the are all different but do share some similarities. John Green has just such a great way of writing which I think is what makes the book so enjoyable. The character of Hazel was such a determined strong girl and wouldn’t give up on anyone even though she was a ‘dynamite’ waiting to explode. The story of Augustus was quite a sad one though even though he didn’t like to show much emotion and didn’t care much for himself then he did towards Hazel. When I heard they were making a movie I was so excited and even more excited when I found out who would play Hazel and Gus. I loved this book and hope to read more John Green books in the near future.

This book is great! It captures the reader’s hearts with the plot-twisted love between Hazel and Gus. From the moment I read this it became a part of my every day life such as “Grenades” and the main one, “Okay”. I’ve always wondered if Hazel lives long after Gus or if she dies soon after. I couldn’t read this book without having a tear or two…
John Green is one of my favourite writers because of the unique writing style and your ability to capture the reader’s heart. The Fault in Our Stars is a book I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I know that movie of this book is coming out soon and everyone wants to see it but I highly recommend reading the book before you see the movie.
As soon as I read this book it immediately became my favourite book of all time.
The book is about an uncommon love story between two teenagers Hazel and Augustus. This is a romance book but its not your typical love story where everyone is happy and everyones life is perfect. The story deals with hard and serious issues that I can’t even begin to imagine what its like to feel what they are feeling. The author, John Green, writes the story so well. His writing is very sophisticated and mature. I love how he is able to capture exactly how the character is feeling and make you feel for the character and really feel quite sad or happy for them. When reading this book I felt like I knew the characters, like I had met them. My favourite character would have to be Hazel. Her personality is so different to a typical teenage girls, maybe because she has different circumstances to those of a normal teenage girl. She is nerdy and weird but cool and different at the same time. She’s brave, determined and she speaks her mind. And despite her being a book character I really believe that she is a role model. John Green reels you in in this romantic drama and you begin to fall in love with all the characters. Their different stories are inspiring. I rate this book a big fat 10/10!

I just finished reading this book and I was really surprised with how good it is. I have heard others talking about this book for a while now and I thought that they were just exaggerating about how good it is but I was wrong. It is a book that can truly make you feel for the characters. It is filled with surprises and romance. The Fault In Our Stars does have people with cancer in it but its more about the romance side. It is a book that may make you cry but it is really worth reading. It show a very unique outlook on life and is filled with thought provoking quotes. I would recommend this book to teenagers and everyone else who is older.

I read this book at the beginning of last year and it is still and will probably always be one of my favourites. The Fault in Our Stars is a whole lot different to the books I normally tend to read however I loved every page of it. Despite cancer playing a major role in the story it still isn’t a ‘cancer book’ that Hazel herself dislikes so much, it is a book about two young people that meet because of cancer and they give each other an infinity in numbered days. Many people might not want to read this book because after the first page you can tell that it’s going to be sad, but those people would miss the hilarious dialogue, the thought-provoking quotes, and most of all a kind of romance that can only be found in books.
All of John Green’s books are terrific and this one was no different, I would recommend this book to everyone that is able to read (and also those who can’t).

It is such a emotional and inspiring story, I found out about the book on tumblr and i wanted it so badly, i was looking for the book everywhere and could not find it until my sister brought it home from work one day, and i basically had a little party by myself in my room !! thats how happy i was, I loved the book so much and i highly recommend for everyone to read it !! I think was a very sad and emotional story. I think that it became very popular and gave me an a glimpse of what sick children feel like. When Hazel and Augustus meet they share a strong bond and seem to understand each other in a very emotional way. I think that this book is for more mature readers and that if you are around thirteen years old or younger you should check with your parents as there are some inappropriate scenes. Hazel and Augustus fighter very hard but they didn’t want people to give them there sympathy and feel sorry for them.

I read this book over the holidays and I definitely now understand why it is so popular, especially among teenagers. I think John Green is incredibly creative and I also enjoy how through the story, Augustus and Hazel support each other and grow together. They begin to understand and enjoy new things because of the other person. I also love how the Book that Hazel reads is her main passion and Augustus starts to love it as well, and their both desperate to find out the ending. Parts of this story were a bit predictable. I love how they find comfort with each other and Hazel makes the most of of a bad situation. I recommend this story to people 14 and over, some parts of the story may be a bit too heavy for a younger person.

This is such a sad book but I loved it!!. It’s about a girl called Hazel who has had cancer for a few years now and feels as though it has changed her life, which it has. But when she meets Augustus she forgets about all of the affects that cancer has had on her and lives live to the fullest. It really opens your eyes to real life problems and let’s you recognise that people have to deal with a lot more than we do.

The book is filled with comedy, romance and lots of sad bits, it is most definite a teary book.
The fault in our stars is a beautiful book and you will find your self falling in love with all the characters as they all have their own stories.
As it even says on the cover, you laugh, you cry, you come back for more.

This has to be one of the saddest books I have ever read. But its hard to describe this book because it is so emotional and so much happens. you get so many feelings when reading this book but mostly the one emotion you have is sadness you cry a lot when reading this book and i mean a lot.
the book starts with a little bit of a back story which i like because it gives you a little bit of what happens just before the book starts witch i like because it makes it different from other books sort of unique in a way

It is hard to begin to describe this book because it is so emotional and so much happens. I don’t want to spoil the book because it is such a good read but I will warn anyone that reads it you won’t be able to put it down. This book make you laugh, cry and cry some more. The book is quite slow moving so if you are an action person I wouldn’t recommend it but if you are a softie for love this is the book for you. The book is about a girl Hazel Grace who has terminal lung cancer. The book explores her life as a cancer person and how she goes about her life after she meet Augustus Waters a boy she meets at a Cancer Support group. This book defiantly will put your life in perspective and John Green does such an amazing job of capturing what life is like for a cancer patient. The ending left me feeling a bit empty but I would still recommend reading it. I give the fault in our stars a 9/10 and I would recommend it for people aged 12-20.

I can officially say this is my favourite book now! it has such a different twist on a typical teenagers life, because it’s through the eyes of cancer patients and how Hazel and Augustus and how they relate and share each others pain and heart break. I enjoy how Augustus looks past Hazel’s physical appearance and see’s her for who she is and makes Hazel lift when she is around him and how he goes to many lengths to make him happy. The ending is very upsetting and unexpected and I would love to change it so there can be a sequel!!

I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down in the time I was reading it. The novel stars a girl named Hazel Grace who has to live with cancer. How tragic it may seem, John Green showed just how important it is to focus mostly on positive things and not really the negatives. At least at the start of the book he did.
My favorite character was Augustus Waters, a boy Hazel meets at one of her Cancer support group meetings. Through out the book Hazel and Augustus become close and end up in a relationship.
If I could change one thing about this book it would be the end but I cannot explain why, because I do not want to give anything away but if you do decide to read this book, when you reach the end you will understand what I mean.
If you are reading this, I strongly recommend that you read this book, you would be surprised at how many people have fallen in love with this wonderful book.

This book reduced me too tears. John Green is a brilliant writer and is so poetic and philosophical in his writing. He points out the major issues in life and can prove to you that you life is so much more than what we think. Its about finding someone who will treat you right and understands you, caring for everyone around you and knowing who you can trust. John Green expresses all those different feelings in this book and in such a beautiful way. I recommend it to young adults and I rate it 10/10!

John Green tackles the major questions of existence in this book with humour, honesty and grace. The narrator Hazel, is dealing with a terminal form of cancer. But this is not a story about dying, but rather a story about truly living. Through the lives of the two main characters, Hazel and Augustus, John Green shows us that most lives are not triumphs or tragedies, but they are filled with moments of both.
Writing about the topic of cancer can be seen as “predictable” or even “boring”. But the way it is approached in this book is amazing. The only negative I have with it is that I think sometimes you can tell that it is a male writing in a females point of view, but that doesn’t take away anything from the plot. Which is the shining star of the book. It is a masterful coming of age story and will fill you with laughter and tears.
I would recommend this novel to a wide audience far beyond the Young Adult crowd. Personally, I discovered John Green through his YouTube channel and was eagerly awaiting this book. And now whenever I read it, I never want it to end.

This book is so emotional and gives us a real perspective on how little of life we have. It is an award winning book, and it revolves around a cancer patient who meets another cancer patient in remission and they fall in love. There is a massive turn of events when one of them find cancer in their system, and it just demonstrates how you have to live your life to the fullest every day. I give this book a 9 / 10!!!
Simply amazing, however it covers some adult content (sexual language) so I would recommend this book for people 11+

This is my all time favourite book and I absolutely adore it! I am so excited for when they release the movie! This book is simply perfect in every possible way, it makes you laugh and cry and smile and sometimes get very very annoyed. I have recommended this book to three of my friends and they have all read it and loved it! The quotes in this book are simply fabulous and the humour is quite different and interesting. I love The Fault In Our Stars! Its about two people who met in a cancer survival group. Hazel Grace and Augustus Waters. Its a light hearted, romantic book, with a very unexpected turn of events. I have never cried whilst reading a book before this. Despite the end I loved it. I recommend this to anyone over 14 because there is a little bit of complex language, that some non readers have a little trouble with. I rate this book 9/10 and can’t wait for the movie to come out next year!!

I liked this book because John Green is one of my favourite authors, and I have never read anything quite like this one before. My favourite character in this book is Hazel. Hazel is a positive person, despite all that she has been through. My favourite part of the book is Augustus letter to Van Houten at the end, because it is so well written and it gives a bit of an unexpected ending. I would recommend this book to anyone that doesn’t mind crying for an hour when they have finshed it, or for someone looking for an easy read. I rate it a 5 out of 5 stars. 😀

The fault in our stars would have to be one of the saddest books I have read. It Is a cancer story about a love between two cancer survivors and their journeys. Let me tell you that if you are not into sad books then you definitely should not read this. It is a really touching story and John Green has definitely done this very well. It is written in the perspective of a teenager with cancer which makes it even more emotional to read. My favourite character is Hazel the main character. Throughout the book we are shown how she grows up and starts to see the world in a different light which is really touching and inspirational. I also love Augustus who is the boy who changes Hazel’s life around. I feel in love with both off the characters instantly and let me tell you that the ending left me speechless and very emotionally drained. I would rate this book a 9/10 and recommend it for people over 13 years old, just because some of the things int he book you have to be older to understand. I really love this book and I think that everyone should read it 🙂

This book was really interesting, it was the first book of this genre that I actually enjoyed! Despite the fact that it was a sad book with lots of ups and downs I am very coldhearted and didn’t cry at all. However it is a touching book and I definitely recommend it to anyone over the age of 12! Please get your parents to read it first though as it can be a bit confronting and the age group depends on what your parents choose.

Although this is a book about cancer, it is not a cancer book. It is not your typical ‘tragic’ book and frankly, I think it is a lot more than that.Throughout the book, I really warmed to the characters, especially Augustus who is not only charming and kind but very witty. The characters are written in such a way that they seem very very real and that is both the book’s strength and weakness because personally, I was incredibly attached to Hazel and Augustus. Hazel and Augustus mutually fall in love with each other and use Augustus’ “cancer perk” to visit Amsterdam to meet their favourite yet reclusive author. However, the cancer kicks in. Despite the fact that in its essence it is a love story, it is more than that. It is a short-lived tale of friendship and it really does emphasis how short life is. Spoiler alert: it is extremely likely you will cry and/or be speechless at the end. I rate this book 9.5 out 10 because it is definitely my favourite book and is great if you are a teenager that is not afraid to cry.

This book literally changed me forever. It is the most amazing book that I have ever read and this shows how great of author John Green is. This is probably the most emotional storyline any book has and Augustus Waters is hands down my favourite fictional character. I think I might of cried for at least three days prior to reading this book thats how much it touched me and I would recommend reading this book with at least five boxes of tissues because you WILL cry. My favourite part of the book is the very end when Hazel finds the letter and the last part of the letter almost killed me. I also love when they agree on okay being their “always” and I really don’t think i’ll ever get over this book.

This is an amazing book, but I do not recommend if you do not like open endings because you will be crying on the floor for hours like myself. This book will frustrated you, make you laugh, make you cry and make you yell with anger. It’s about a 16 year old girl named Hazel Grace, a cancer victim who meets and falls for Augustus Waters, who has lost his leg for cancer. John Green is a fantastic order but i suggest reading one of his other books like ‘Paper Towns’, ‘An Abundance of Katherines’ or ‘Looking for Alaska’ because they will only partially emotionally scar you. 100000000000/10 MUST READ!

It is a rare book that you cannot put down, even when you are crying your eyes out. In the beginning, it introduces Hazel Grace, a girl who has cancer. Her mother forces her to attend a support group, where she meets the wonderful Augustus Waters.I would rate it 9/10 and recommend it to people over 14, since it is a very confronting book. Also, John Green’s other book, Looking for Alaska, is also a brilliant book.

This book was hands down one of the most amazing things I have ever read. It was so beautifully written and I don’t think that I could pick any flaws in the book. There were many parts in the book that made me laugh, but as I drew closer to the end the laughter turned into tears. I literally balled me eyes out. It was so sad yet so compelling. It was a borrowed book, so I plan to go and buy it so that I can read it time and time again. It is rare that you find a book like that. I couldn’t pick a favourite character as I loved them all so much and they all had a different story. I did love Hazel and Augustus’ story though. The love they had for one another was so touching and beautiful. The author ‘John Green’ did such an amazing job and I am currently reading some of his other books. I recommend this book for anyone 13+ as it can be quite difficult to understand and read at many times. I would have to definitely rate this 10/10. It’s a book that touches your heart and stays with you forever.

I recommend the novel ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ by John Green. I loved this book because it is both about love, hope and suffering. My favourite part of this book was when Hazel and Gus first met. I loved this part because it was so innocent and they immediately knew that they were meant to be together. My favourite character had to be Hazel because even though she was going through such a tough time, she found some space in her heart to love Gus. Even though I love this book so much, it is also very sad too… this book took me on a journey and it made me laugh, smile and cry. I recommend this book to everyone who loves a good story. The type of person that would like this book are secondary school students because parts of this book are very confronting and grown up. I score this novel a 10/10

I found out about this book from tumblr and everyone was saying how amazing it was! So i went down to the bookshop and thought i might give it a whirl. And WOW! is all i can saw wowowowow, it definitely did not let me down, it was absolutely stunning and the language used was just so deep and meaningful, i absolutely adore all john greens books, but this one has made it to the top of the list. It’s such a beautiful touching story about love, friendship and support and hazel grace and augustus waters are absolutely superb together, they’re adorable!!! The end of the story made me cry for days just about, but it was also beautiful in a way. I just adore every word of this book and i guarantee you will too. 84683964587365/10!!!

Before I’d read this book I had heard so much about it and let me just say it lived up to my expectations. This story was a beautifully written love story that made me laugh and made me weep. I can’t pick a favourite character because I love all of them sooo much. Throughout this book there are some amazing quotes. My favourite part is probably when Augustus takes out a cigarette but doesn’t light it and then explains ‘They don’t kill you unless you light them. And I’ve never lit one. It’s a metaphor, see? You put the killing thing right between your teeth, but you don’t give it the power to do its killing.’ This story is one of the few stories that I would read again as I don’t usually like to read a book twice even if I loved it. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone over 13. It can be difficult to read at times but don’t let that stop you giving it a go.

This is an absolutely stunning novel that left me wanting more. You definitely need a pack of tissues by the bed. John Green has written this novel in way which all teens and young adults can relate to. It is very easy to form a relationship with the characters and I was left missing them once I finished reading the book.
This novel is about a young cancer sufferer, but the book is not consumed by cancer talk. Hazel is just trying to live her life, as any healthy teen would – it’s just a little more difficult. She meets Augustus at the cancer support group, where they form an immediate connection.
I love all the characters and they each add something different to the dynamics of the story. I would have difficulty choosing a favourite!!
I enjoyed every moment of this book. It is not too long and the style of writing is not too heavy so it is quite easy to read.
This book is definitely worth reading, but be warned that lots of crying may be involved.
I think this book suits 13 – early 20 year old, but anyone can enjoy it. I rate this book 5 stars out of 5!! Make sure you read it!!

This book absolutely adorable, i’m only half way through but so far so good !
Hazel, a surviving cancer patient, meets a good looking, well spoken boy names Augustus. They instantly become close friends, and are both wrapped up in a book ‘An imperial Affliction’. Sadly the book ends abruptly, and Hazel and Augustus set of for answers ! This is a beautiful love story, and I can’t wait until I finish it ! I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves love !!!!!!

I recommend the book, “The fault in our stars”. I think I was a beautiful story. It is about a teenage girl named Hazel who has had cancer and now has to carry around an oxygen tank to help her breath. Hazels mum insists that she goes to a support group where other people who have had cancer share their stories. That is where she meets Augustus. Hazel and Augustus (Gus) soon become very close friends, and it turns into love throughout the story. My favourite part of the book was when Augustus and Hazel went on a trip together to meet their favourite author. I think it was sweet because Gus shared his wish with Hazel so that they could go together. My favourite character was Augustus, he was a really sweet and interesting character who was also very funny. I don’t have a least favourite part because it was just so good whether there were sad parts or funny parts. I would definitely recommend this book to people from the age of 13. I give it 5/5.
