The blog for books and movies

the100pb_300wideNo one has set foot on Earth in centuries – until now.

Ever since a devastating nuclear war, humanity has lived on spaceships far above Earth’s radioactive surface. Now, one hundred juvenile delinquents – considered expendable by society — are being sent on a dangerous mission: to recolonize the planet. It could be their second chance at life…or it could be a suicide mission.

CLARKE was arrested for treason, though she’s haunted by the memory of what she really did. WELLS, the chancellor’s son, came to Earth for the girl he loves — but will she ever forgive him? Reckless BELLAMY fought his way onto the transport pod to protect his sister, the other half of the only pair of siblings in the universe. And GLASS managed to escape back onto the ship, only to find that life there is just as dangerous as she feared it would be on Earth.

Confronted with a savage land and haunted by secrets from their pasts, the hundred must fight to survive. They were never meant to be heroes, but they may be mankind’s last hope.

“The 100” book is just as good as the tv series, there is a different storyline though. I have only read the first book out of the three but is has everything! A bit of romance, action, fantasy, sci-fi and drama. It is a book that keeps giving. I would definitely recommend this novel because it suits many people interests and it keeps everything mysterious. The author shows the storyline and history of each person without telling the audience. Sometimes the storyline can be a bit inappropriate from people under 11-12 years. Watching the tv series helps understand the story of the people on the ark and the delinquents more deeply. I would definitely recommend this book! It shows everyones point of views and opinions. I would rate this novel a 9/10 or 10/10.

  2. I really enjoyed the series of “The 100”. There are three books and in each one tells a really good story, with a mix of fantasy, romance & action. I recommend people who enjoy genres like them to definitely read at least 1, 2 or all of the books! I would rate the series overall a 9/10 and people who are 12+ to read it! There is also a tv series which helps you understand the book but of course tv shows/movies are never the same to the book which is quite annoying!
