This is a great adventurous tale by Lauren Child! Ruby Redfort, undercover agent, is a loveable character: our code-cracker and thirteen year old genius. There’s nothing average about her.
In this epic adventure, the third book in the Ruby Redfort series, it’s an adventure in the wild. Whilst no-one would doubt her talent when it comes to code breaking, out in the wild things are looking a whole lot tougher for Ruby. The tigers are roaming The streets of Twinford. and it looks like someone has deliberately released some very rare and very dangerous animals. Things are going to get wild – and Ruby is going to get badly lost in The wilderness. The question is: will she make it out alive?

Sounds good, I know. This book let’s you experience the adventure, and really get you captivated! It also includes codes and puzzles for you to solve aswell.
I especially love the part when Ruby and her best friend Clancy Crew end up truly having to fight for survival with an exciting, action packed ending!

I totally suggest this book and reccomend it to anyone who takes a slight interest, (Although you might want to read the other books in the series first – Look into my eyes & Take your last breath) But really I love the whole series (I was so excited when pick your poison came out!). There are five books in total – each thrilling, leaving you chewing your fingernails and dying from the suspense.

Age 8+, I woud give this 4 stars!
