Confessions of a shopaholic (movie)
This is a movie that I watched the first scenes of about a thousand times before I actually sat down and watched the entire thing. But when I did, I loved every second of it. It’s about a lady who is involved in a horrific train crash along with many other people including a young man and an a older gentleman. There is also a little girl who was traveling on the train with her parents but was left an orphan as they perished in the crash. As they were all foreigners traveling to Umbria, Italy and the lady, played by Maggie Smith, owns a house in the village, she welcomes both injured men and the little girl to stay with her after they come out of hospital. The plot is a little more complicated than that but it is such a beautiful story and is so well portrayed. All the actors did a brilliant job of presenting the personalities of their characters, the setting was immaculate and way the movie was shot (camera angles) added to the depth of understanding of the story being told. I very much enjoyed this film and would rate it a 7 out of 10.
