The blog for books and movies

The Garde are finally reunited, but do they have what it takes to win the war against the Mogadorians?

John Smith—Number Four—thought that things would change once the Garde found one another. But he was wrong. After facing off with the Mogadorian ruler and almost being annihilated, the Garde know they are drastically unprepared. Now they’re hiding out in Nine’s Chicago penthouse, trying to figure out their next move.

The six of them are powerful, but they’re not strong enough yet to take on an entire army—even with the return of an old ally. To defeat their enemy, the Garde must master their Legacies and learn to work together as a team. More important, they’ll have to discover the truth about the Elders and their plan for the Loric survivors.

And when the Garde receive a sign from Number Five—a crop circle in the shape of a Lorien symbol—they know they are close to being reunited. But could it be a trap? Time is running out, and the only thing they know for certain is that they have to get to Five before it’s too late.

  1. I really like the Lorien legacies and enjoy reading them but this book keeps you guessing to the end. My favourite part of this book is the games they play in the penthouse to practise their own enhanced abilities. I really don’t like number 5 he is the worst part of the book and I just want him gone but I guess without him half the drama would not be there anyway. This book is just amazing and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys books that are a little bit different… I rate it 8/10

The Fall Of Five as with all the other books in the series is a heart gripping web of action and romance. The Garde have united together and have discovered the whereabouts of number Five, yet the characteristics of their new ally could very much bring the whole group down. This book is incredible and very addictive to read, it has the largest amount of cliff hangers I’ve ever seen yet it is one of the best in the series. This book really ties it all together and will have you on the edge of your seat. I recommend this book to anyone who adores books full of action and sci-fi type books.

The Fall of Five is another fantastic book in the series, bringing adventure, action and betrayal to a whole new level. In this book, John and the rest of the remaining Garde venture out to find number Five, another Loric Garde member from the planet Lorien. This book would have to be my favourite one in the series so far and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading the other first three books and also whoever enjoys reading sci-fi books as well. 10/10

  4. This book, as with all the others of this series, is a heart-stopping blend of action, drama and a little romance.
The Garde have discovered the whereabouts of Number Five, another Loric Garde from their planet. But the characteristics of their so-called ally will bring their whole group down.
This book is seriously amazing! It was a little less romantic than the books before it, and I felt like this book was really tightening the tension of the series, rather than focussing on the romantic side of the story.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has started the series(as it really starts to all come together)and anyone who loves action and sci-fi type books.
