3 hanky reads, Private lives, TV series
Finding Carter (TV series)
Tomorrow when the war began series – John Marsden
I recommend the TV series, ‘Red Band Society’. It is based in a ward of Ocean Parks Hospital and follows the lives of 6 young people. It goes through there struggles and we learn how they deal with their illnesses and experiences. It’s classified as a teen drama as many of the characters are teenagers. My favourite part of this TV series is the relationships formed between the nurses and doctors in the hospital with the patients. They understand and try their best to help in more ways that one. My favourite character would have to be Charlie because he basically narrates the show yet has no lines so it makes him quite and interesting and dynamic character. My least favourite part of the TV series is probably the love triangle between some characters but it all pans out in the end. I would recommend this TV series to others because it is really good however emotional. It does mention disorders and medical conditions such as cancer so you may want to be cautious however I think it is a fabulous show!
